The strap to hold it dow
I am delighted with the cover , it was more than I expected the strap to hold it in place was brilliant as I have lost two cover already to strong winds
Great Quality and extra features compared to other covers
I bought this cover to replace a poor quality one that I bought elsewhere. This one is much better it has extra features like a tie for the bottom of the egg chair stand, a great zip and a strap to go around it to help stop it blowing in the wind. The material is also way better quality on this one.
Withstood Storm Betty!
So I bought this for a day bed as I couldn’t find a suitable one for the Apolima day bed from B&Q. Built the bed yesterday and covered with this. Unbelievable wind and rain. This morning, it’s in the same place, completely dry! I’m amazed. So glad I chose this as I was a bit miffed the bed is brand new, not even used and the storm happened. Wonderful cover.
Brilliant for my double hanging chai
I bought this to go over my new 2 seat hanging chair and it’s perfect, loads of strings to tighten and adjust so it sits perfectly on top and under so the wind doesn’t blow it off and it protects well from the rain. Easy to put on and remove and good value .
Great cove
I bought this as a replacement to a cover I bought that was ripped in high winds. This over is excellent, loads of coverage and has stayed out in winds, excellent item would definitely recommend.
Fits perfect. My egg chair been exploded to sun, storm, wind and cover survived. Not once I was worried it will blew away or leak. Once I found my egg chair on the ground due to wind and cover was still on so i highly recommend i
4.0 out of 5 stars Good cove
Works well good coverage and keeps chair completely dry also secure in wind
5.0 out of 5 stars Good cover.
Does the job well, straps for tightening and stop it flapping in the wind. Seems waterproof so far.
So fa
I’ve had this a couple of days now. We’ve not had rain yet so will update when it’s been waterproof tested.
My little bag to put the cover in, it arrived damaged. The zip is off and the stitching has come loose. I’m hoping the same doesn’t happen to the cover.
Definitely waterproof!
We’ve had this cover for a while now so feel comfortable with the said statement of recommendation.
Having just experienced very Heavy rain, thunderstorms, flash flooding weather. The egg chair with all its cushions remained dry. I have no doubt in recommending that this cover is 100% waterproof!
Watertight so fa
This cover stayed on in storm winds and kept the cushions underneath dry. Did pull up the bottom cord and secure it to the stand, and attach the back strap to the stand and centre tape tightly around the width. Truly surprised it stayed on and dry. Seems like a good product – one month after purchase.
Nice fi
My egg chair is abit different to one in picture on Amazon but nice fit hope it’s good when windy weather comes my other kept flying off extra strap so far I’m happy
5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality item
Its exactly what we needed to keep our egg chair protected from the elements. Its good quality and fits very well.
Great cove
Cover is large and generous fit, has zip so when u tighten cords to right fit you only have to use zip to get off and on, secure fit and perfect for keeping seat clean and dry
This cover is great it covers my chair very well and is easy to put on and take off . I’m so glad I purchased this cover . There has been some heavy rain and it’s kept my chair completely dry . Well worth the money I can’t recommend it enough . 5 stars
Having had two different covers before which have either flapped in the wind and torn or else blown away in very strong wind, was keen to see this one had two additional straps on it. I ordered the black one, but when it came it did not have straps on it and appeared to be last years model.
When I contact the supplier, they said it was random what was dispatched between this years and last years stock – so you had to return and just try and order again and hoped you got lucky? (Seems totally weird!)
Anyhow, looking at other reviews the recent ones for the grey ones all seems good and were positive about the straps – so this time I order the grey one – and indeed it came with the additional straps.
Seems a good product and the straps do work well. Time will tell how long it lasts.
Bit of a shame the black one didn’t have it as all my other covers are black, but at least I managed to get one with the straps on second attempt…
With the absolutely terrible weather we’ve been having lately, this cover has been a godsend in keeping my egg chair dry and protected. However, I do have a small bone to pick with it. The cover is quite large, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it does have a really bright logo on it that doesn’t quite fit with the vibe of my garden. But hey, I’ll take a slightly obnoxious logo over a soaking wet chair any day. All in all, if you’re looking for a reliable egg chair cover, this one definitely gets the job done.
Currently in situ on the chair. The rain is pouring, the wind is gusting and it’s doing what it’s meant to chair is dry and protected.
There are two straps; one at the bottom which I’ve attached to the frame which stops the cover lifting, and then a “waist” strap which goes round the the middle to help prevent billowing. Finally a pull string with toggles tightens the bottom. All seems quite secure.
Great value for money and seems great quality.
Better than expected
I was searching high and low for an a double egg chair cover for the Innovators Eleanor chair that I just purchased.
There’s quite a few on offer on Amazon but I finally decided on this. The reviews for many covers are mixed and some were really expensive and others were reviewed to be of poor quality. I thought I’d take a chance and order this as it seemed to fit the bill.
First impressions, it’s really good, fits well and has a strap and toggles at the bottom as you can see from the pictures. This should hopefully stop it ending up in someone else garden. There’s a handy zip feature too which opens up in the middle.
The material is very thin so I’m not sure how well it will hold up. If this could come in thick material it would be amazing.
Too early to tell how much protection it offers as I’ve only just got it, I guess the rain will let us know but I will remove the cushions and leave the rest covered.
The strap is adjustable which is good and the toggles can be tightened at the base to the required length. I’ve given 4 stars as I feel the material could be improved even if it meant a higher price point.
Egg Chair Cover - Lightweight ~ speedy delivery ~ good Value
Received this product quickly and it fits my egg chair perfectly. Lightweight and compact. Cannot comment on the durability of it as yet as I have only received it. I till have to revisit in a few months when it has been tested by the Northern Irish Climate!
Egg chair cove
The cover is serving its purpose for the price it is of reasonable quality! It’s definitely doing its job and with the belt it’s stopping it from flying off I’m windy weather. I would recommend this product for the price it’s great!
I thought this was good value for money and works perfectly for an egg chair, and easy to take on and off. Unfortunately, the cover has ripped but I do live in a coastal area so get quite strong winds. I got some outdoor gorilla style tape, and taped it up from the inside and it has held together. I have also since tied the chair to the back of the base, so it doesn’t blow around as much and this definitely helped. This cover performed much better than what I thought was a sturdier cover for my outdoor sofa!
Great first impressions!
I just got a new BrambleCrest Tulip egg chair (very expensive, so I wanted a cover for it). As this egg chair is tulip shape, I needed a large size cover to cover it fully. This just fits, despite my chair being a single. I do wonder if this would fit a double chair, as advertised?
I got this cover along with another from Amazon. This in comparison to the other, was wayyy better and they were both the same price. This cover has toggles around the bottom, so the fit feels more secure. I liked the fact it came with a storage bag and had a silver waterproof lining. It was slightly larger as well than the other and had a middle secure strap. For this reason I decided to keep this one and return the other. I think it is good value for money based on first impressions.
I deducted a start because it had a really strong odour when opened. Awful smell. Sadly, I opened it indoors, so keep this in mind. As it will be used outdoors it’s not an issue for me.
I can’t comment of whether it’s waterproof or it’s durability as I have not been able to test this, yet. But, I will update once used outdoors.
Based on first impressions I would buy this again and I would recommend it.
Great for outdoor, weather proof!
The material is very light and may be delicate – have used for last month and it’s going strong though
Great item. Does just the job!
Very good value for money. Lightweight and very durable. Perfect fit. Highly recommend.
Perfect for my large garden chai
Love this cover. Purchased this for my large garden chair with cushions. And footstool. Not for an egg chair! Does the job well. Great protection.
Waterproof, easy to use
Good sturdy zip with pulls Tring toggle, covers the whole nest chair. Very happy.
Fits eggchair with legs
Advertised for a swing chair but took a gamble as mine has feet and doesn’t move. Couldn’t be more perfect with ample coverage.
Fits perfec
Great for covering my egg chair I purchased from BM Stores
Fits perfectly
Good quality cover which fits a standard Egg Chair perfectly.
Ok for the price
Great price fits well wearing at the top a little
Chair cover.
Early days yet but it is very lightweight and great value for money. So far it has kept of the morning dew ,so still waiting for the rain to come.
All good and would recommend this item.
Easy to put on/take down. Fits my B&M egg chai
Bought this to keep my lovely B&M egg chair (it’s maybe called Siena?) dry. It fits well. It’s very lightweight and so far (2 weeks in) it keeps the chair dry. It’s easy to get on and off and so far it seems durable. The fabric is very thin and I have worried it might rip but so far it is doing ok.
Fantastic!
One of the best items I have ever bought. Lightweight with plenty of room so doesn’t tear or snag it has ties at the bottom to keep it in place, has withstood rain and high winds brilliant and good value for money would highly recommend
This item is Waterproof8
This item isl fits well, is lightweight and easy to put on. It us 100% Waterproof
Perfec
Just what I needed for my egg chair, fits over chair &frame perfectly. Easy to put on &tie up & it doesn’t sound like a crisp packet as I read on previous review it has no noise at all.
Brilliant cove
Great waterproof cover for my egg chair. Pull-cord good for adjusting it to size and keeping it secure.
Great cover for my egg chai
Happy with this purchase .It’s perfect for my egg chair . Much cheaper than other places
Good cover for the price
If you’re looking for a good cheap alternative to the shockingly priced covers elsewhere (north of 70!) This is worth it. Covers my egg chair from Argos and the drawstring at the bottom ensures the cover will not blow away with the wind. I’m yet to test it in heavy rain will update if any issues do occur.
Great cover. High quality and so simple to use
Cover us easy to use by a single person. So simple to fasten and easy to tighten.
Lightweight and durable
Great just the right size. Happy with my purchase. Great value for money.
Looks good
Quick Despatch .looks really good and well made.it gets very windy where we live and it has blown over once but will anchor down in future..would recommend this egg chair cover.comes in its own little bag as wellnever as easy to get back in once you got it ou
easy to fit and rain proof. generous in size too . would recommend for egg chair.
light weight and fits egg chair with plenty room. easy to remove and stire
Totally waterproof!
This cover is excellent. It’s a great size and goes on easy with no fuss. We’ve recently had some extremely heavy rain and strong winds and I’d left the cushion on the chair, under the cover. It was completely waterproof and didn’t budge in the wind. Would definitely recommend.
Perfect cover at a great price
Firstly, the covers in the highstreet stores for my eggchair were priced over 35 for a sub standard not very nice to look at cover so this really is great value.
The cover fits perfect with a drawstring along the bottom for you to tighten as much as u like and the zipped front is extremely useful if u want to sit out when it’s raining whilst still keeping relatively dry as you can just open the zip and leave the cover in place creating a covered seat.
Add to that the colour choice and the fact that it is easy to put on and remove plus lightweight and aesthetically pleasing. So happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.
Has stood the test of time (and storms) well!
This cover has really stood up well to multiple storms, one or two which had our egg chair rolling about :/ it has kept the chair dry and I’ve even kept the cushion on during heavy rain etc and it’s good! Now has a couple of small tears which isn’t surprising after what it’s been through but still keeps the chair dry 🙂
Really good quality
This is really good value and I would definitely recommend i
Waterproof
The cover was easy to put on and definitely did it’s job through a few heavy downpours. All cushions dry.
Good quality easy to assemble
Good quality easy to assemble very comfortable to sit in excellent for the garden patio
Nice fi
Good fit, lightweight, only hope its durable enough to last.
Waste of money.
I have only had the enzeo egg patio chair cover a few months and there are already tiny holes in it. I can’t see it standing up to the winter weather. I wouldn’t buy again.
Excellent quality and protects the chair whatever the weathe
Excellent product enables use of the chair whether windy or cold.
Fits b&m egg chair perfectly
Great quality, fits the b&m egg chair perfectly. Would highly recommend!
Good quality
Looks the best one yet that we’ve bought, hope it lasts well, looks sturdy
Excellent value
Other manufacturers chairs gave flimsy looking frames, this is strong and can take 250lbs, must be for the US market. Very easy to put together, the frame work was incredibly well packed to avoid the black paint being scratched. Sturdy frame with quality basket seat, more than adequate cushions which were included. I bought a rain cover for 25.00. My wife is well chuffed with i
Does the job
Fits nicely over the egg chair and is easy to get on and off. Had some wind and rain the other day and it stayed on and kept the cushions dry. When wind was really strong the whole chair blew over but the cover remained so just anchor the chair down in high winds or store in a shed.
Very comfortable .
Arrived on time and in good order. We use it in the garden as a comfortable seat. I suggest buying a cover for inclement weather. It seems good value for money and sturdy. Easy to assemble .
Nice and large
Covered garden egg chair very well nice and sturdy zip
Excellent value for money. Fit for purpose and looks good.
Excellent value for money. Fit for purpose and looks good.
Great cove
Had this over my new egg chair for about ten days now, been through winds and quite heavy rain. It has withstood it all! It’s even cosy to fold the cover back in sit in the chair. Super!
Egg chair cove
Very well made cover, protection from rain ,really good fit quick and easy to zip on, good purchase
Great !!!!
Good sturdy cover , with a strong zip and draw cord so the cover doesn’t inflate like an air balloon and take off like our last one did. Doesn’t cover the stand at the bottom, just the chair, but that’s alright for me, as we dismantle the chair in the winter and store in the summer house .
Fits and is waterproof
Zip at the front and ties at the bottom. Does the job well.
Stylish egg chai
2 person easy assembly looks stylish and feels very comfortable. Great value for the price. Would recomend buying a weather proof cover.
Perfec
This is much larger than my egg chair which means it’s easy to put on and tighten up. I leave just enough room for my cats to climb up underneath and they love it!
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the materials and how well it is made.
Worth every penny!
Perfect fit for my Aldi Egg Chai
Very good cover, it’s strong and waterproof perfect for leaving the chair out when rain is forecast. It has a drawstring toggle which I tied round the garden table leg to stop it from blowing over with the cover on. My friends have been and brought 1 now they have seen the quality of the cover! Would buy again and would recommend. Easy to put on and has its own little storage bag which the cover can be folded into.
Great!
For covering my recently-purchased Dunelm hanging egg chair. Easy to use, and keeps both the chair and the cushion completely bone dry even in heavy rain. In high winds it does not blow off, as it’s secured well with the drawstring tie. Recommended.
Does what it says
Great cover , durable fabric and the drawstring at the bottom helps to stop it flapping and becoming a sail in the wind. Good quality for the price
Has withstood the weather so fa
Excellent packaging, little bag to store it away and then another ziplock bag to put it into. Cover looks well made and has stood up to
The elements so far. Covers well and looks good. Wish they done swing seat covers
Lightweight and easy to fit.
Received within 24hrs. Seems very thin and lightweight so I’m hoping it does the job once it’s been out in our northern weather for a while. Easy to put on and great having a zip.
survived three storms in a row!
slightly fiddly to get on and off but works a treat and survived being out in the 3 storms in 4 days that we had last week.
Does the job.
Quite lightweight so overwintering will tell just a bit awkward to pull the drawstring tight underneath but is probably the same for all of this type. Looks ok and so far so good.
Weather proof egg chair cove
Good size cover for my round shaped egg chair. Used the toggles round the bottom to secure it as tight as I could then threaded them under the egg chair base and round my heavy parasol base. This has meant the cover has stayed in place during high winds and torrential rain. The quality of the material is good yet lightweight but i did need an extra pair of hands to help me get it over the top. Overall I’m glad i decided to buy this after looking at other covers and reading the reviews, this one seemed like the right choice. So far so good.
Doesn't fit well, slides back and rain puddle forms at front of chair.
Doesn’t fit well, slides back and rain puddle forms at front of chair.
Very light so needs strapping down.
Only used for a few weeks so see how it is over the winter as very light but I like the centre zip very useful.
Big
Have not used it yet but seems a bit thin, time will tell if it’s up to the job.
Waterproof
Good coverage, lightweight and easy to get on and off.
The pull ties at the bottom not enough to stop wind getting underneath and possibly blowing it off so I clamp it underneath with extra large pegs.
It’s definitely rain proof as that’s been tested with a recent storm.
Quality
The quality of material was good, the zip has two bent teeth that have to be forced to close and when I pulled the cord to tighten the bottom one side of the cord is joined with a knot so the clamping device wont allow the knot to pass through so only one side if the cord can be pulled through and secured.
Really good cover, sometimes it seems to want to blow away despite being drawn in at the bottom maybe I’m putting it on wrong (this is a rare occurance I should add) it fits nicely on my b&m Sienna egg chair. It stays perfectly dry. Sometimes I leave it on and just fold it back when unzipped so the sun is off my face. Can get really hot in there when doing that though (I have a very hot South facing garden) overall really happy with i
Quality Is Grea
Really good product. Impressed that it had a draw cord at the bottom so it can be pulled tightly in to protect it and stop it flapping in the rain. I put a 3 star for value as I feel it could have been a bit cheaper as it is only a rain cover, however it is specific to an item so mixed feeling about price. But quality is 100%
I received this the Saturday before we were due 60 mile winds and rain which I thought would be a great test for this cover.
And I’m happy to report it stood up very well to three days of pretty appalling weather. When the rain finally stopped, I opened the cover unsure whether the cover would have kept all the rain out. SUCCESS…. my cushion was as dry as a bone.
I’m delighted, not only does it look good- it is very fit for purpose.
FYI You may receive a car saying you will get a free gift for reviewing this product. You won’t, well I didn’t, which I think is quite naughty of them and is frowned upon by AMAZON!!!!!
We were lucky enough to grab one of the elusive egg chairs that were for sale from Aldi recently and it was dispatched quicker than expected. Whilst this was a bonus, it meant to trying to find a cover at short notice so I was keen to find something via Amazon Prime. There are dozens of options with varying prices and even some of the more expensive choices have mixed reviews. I was drawn to this cover as it had good reviews and the price was reasonable.
The cover was delivered last week and it has now been in place all weekend through typical British April weather – sun, wind, rain and even some hail and snow!! So far, so good in terms of performance and keeping the chair dry.
The cover looks smart and I’m pleased with my purchase. My only slight concern is that the material is not super thick. As such, I’m not sure how long it will last. However, at the price paid, I wasn’t expecting it to last forever.
Good value
Delivery was prompt. Cover is good value for money. It’s thin material but will be good enough to protect my egg chair from the rain. Not used during high winds as didn’t want it to rip or chair to be damaged.
