Really like this mixer, just got it for Christmas and made bread, mixed it without a problem, wish the bowl cover would lock on, but really not an issue.

I love my mixer. It is not a kitchen aide, but it fits my budget. I have used it to make all of my Christmas cookies and it has worked well.

This was an early birthday present from my husband. My daughter and I made Christmas cookies and this mixer was awesome. It sure was quieter than my hand held mixer.

Bought this mixer without really looking into it much as my own mixer broke and I had multiple orders to complete that weekend. I am someone most definitely uses this mixer extremely regularly sometimes multiple times a day. I have not had any problems with this mixer at all. The bowl i find it very easy to clean as it is solid with no gaps/crevice’s and i often put in the dishwasher. For the price I think this mixer is extremely good.
Looks very good. Have not yet used the mixer and will comment at a later date. Looking forward to using it. Arrived very well packaged and everything there that needed to be.

I purchased this mixer based on positive reviews and I’m not disappointed. Easy to use with a powerful but relatively quiet motor, at least the motor didn’t scare my cat who doesn’t like noisy appliances.
So far I’ve used the whisk only and that was big enough to reach the bottom of the bowl.
All in all a successful buy.
The mixer on the top head has scratches on it the splash guard that goes on the mixer is cracked I don’t know how it runs yet cuz I haven’t checked it but I’m not pleased.

I bought this stand mixer to replace one that didn’t have a splash guard. After carefully checking lots of different models, I decided on this particular one as it had all the features I needed and was really competitively priced – and I loved the pale blue colour! I’ve used it a couple of times up to now, and so far it seems to be working well. Although it states that the whisk leaves nothing g around the sides of the bowl, I’ve found that I do need to run a spatula around the sides – which is no big deal. Also, I noticed the whisk didn’t get right to the bottom of the bowl in the centre, but again, this wasn’t really an issue as it wasn’t very much. Overall, I love it and it’s a joy to use.

I have only used this for making cakes and whipping cream, so can not comment on the dough hook. I bought this as I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia and was struggling to hold a hand mixer for too long. This is absolutely fantastic, I should if bought one years ago.
I absolutely love this mixer,it’s my new favourite toy!!! Been baking almost everyday since it arrived. Love the style,the attachments are a big help with mixing different ingredients,easy to clean. Yes it’s noisy but when you have something that’s just as good as the expensive top of the range mixers,it’s definitely well worth it. The price was very reasonable too
If you are looking for a food mixer and don’t want to pay big brand name price tags, this Facelle might be the one for you.
Out of the box the design is striking, I’m sure most people would be happy to leave it on display in their kitchen, due to the size some people might not have a choice as it requires a fair bit of storage space.
The 6 litre bowl is big enough for most baking needs and the range of attachments while standard offer what you would need — Beater, Whisk and Dough hook.
In use the suction cups hold it firmly in place, the splash guard is useful when adding ingredients and the 6 speeds are easy to control.
When you have finished with it its quick to take apart and clean.
My mum has finally got rid of her 3year only hand mixer and is very proud to have the Facelle mixer instead, lets hope it does 30 years.
Fabulous. So glad I went for this model after extensive research and reading reviews. My older, cheaper stand mixer was starting to misbehave badly, and had never been that good anyway! I treated myself to a new one and bought the Facelle (in white as it will reside in a cupboard between uses, no need for bright colours). So far I have made a 3-layer Victoria sponge, a chocolate cake and blueberry muffins. Planning a Bundt cake this weekend 🙂 I am really impressed with it. A really good mid-priced stand mixer and will do nicely for the occasional baker like me.
Very easy to set up and use. Surprisingly well made, using good quality materials especially considering the price.
Well balanced, it’s rubber feet help keep it stable and it doesn’t slide across the countertop. Not too heavy though.
Worst part about this mixer is the manual: one smallish picture (components are numbered for easy reference later in the manual). There are then 3 pages in English, of which about 1.5 are “safety instructions”
My wife is very familiar with this type of mixer and didn’t really need a user guide but anyone new to this type of mixer will probably struggle.
Aside from that, the mixer itself works very well and my wife recommends it!
So I had a kenwood chef and used it all the time. It finally went to mixer heaven pretty much 30 years to the day of buying the kenwood but I doubt this will last for that long! It’s a really nice colour though, definitely a cerise pink not purple but it was pink I wanted. Love the fact its so easy to use and raise up and so much lighter than my old kenwood. Think it will be much easier keeping this one clean.
Such great style, ingenuity and practicality slightly thwarted by how much the machine sucks. Why I should have to prize the machine up every time I wish to reposition it or indeed put it away is a sincere mystery, what when we have devices with levers that impress a suction to surfaces and even pull tabs by way to release.
Adding to my frustration with this product is its lack of any assertive lock between the main unit and the steel mixing bowl. It glides in its rotate-and-lock-schematic so smoothly that one is left wondering if it is truly secure.
Another eyebrow raiser is the steel bowl guard’s lack to commit to any true locking mechanism. It literally suspends on the neck of the construct held in place by four rubber grips??? Im not altogether trashing this method which proves effective, I’m simply suggesting that the unit is very posh and deserves a bit more “attention to detail” and even reassurance to the user.
Once you have those cons out the mix you are actually looking at a superior unit here. Very simple to use: where you can administer short, powerful, manual blasts by turning the dial anti- clockwise and you can set it on 6 levels of power (each more vivacious than its lower numeric) when the dial is fixed in one of the clockwise positions.
Sadly my old faithful mixer is now redundant. I have enjoyed many a year with my old mixer, which has a slighly larger capacity mixing bowl. My old mixer was quite noisy and had the kick of a mule. When mixing, even whipping, one had to hold the mixer down as it had so much power that it would try to jump all over the kitchen. It has a great kick to it so bread dough was perfect.
This mixer is different. It’s not as powerful as my old mixer but then again that is a good thing as the old one had too much. This is also much quieter when in operation. As a rough estimate it is no less than 50% quieter and it has no kick. The mixer remains in place so one doesn’t have to hold it sown thus having a few minutes to do other things whilst the mixer gets on with the task it’s assigned.
The build of this mixer is very good and strongand the appearance is good enough for it to proudly stand on a worktop, on display, rather than being hidden away in a cupboard.
As my images show, I used this to make a lamb doner kebab and it did mix the ingredients well. The mixing blade had to turn through 1.3kg of minced meat and turn it into a paste so it could be hand moulded onto a skewer. The end result was not quite like the kebab from takeaways but that was never the intention. Only the best ingredients were used and no extra, unnecessary, fat was added.
The mixer produced the kebab with ease so it has enough power for all domestic kitchen tasks. It can beat, knead and whisk with no issues and no excessive noise.
As I stated in the beginning of this review, my old mixer is now redundant as this one is it’s replacement. I’m going to miss the old mixer but then again I am also going to enjoy starting this one then leaving it to do it’s work whilst I do other things, which I couldn’t do with the old one.
I am recommending this product as it is well made to a good quality standard, it has just the right amount of power, it’s got a low noise level, can perform any task in a domestic kitchen and it is very good value for what it will deliver for quite some time

The utensils slide into place with ease.
It has the prongs to do dough, and lots of different others to make various things.

The bowl is turn to lock.
The feet have rubber on so it doesn’t move when in use..
I find this so easy to use, it’s perfect for beginners and I didnt even have to read the instructions.

This does all the things you would expect and hope for, without being over-burdened by complicated controls.
It takes a bit of getting used to only having one attachment instead of two, but that seems to be the fashion now. It is actually a good thing for us. My mum managed to break a mixer by putting the attachments into the wrong slots and getting them jammed, which you can’t do when there is only one slot!
Another big improvement over our old mixer is the built-in lid. My mum has been known to drape tea towels over the mixer to stop splashes, but with the lid this won’t be a problem any more, and the lid even has a little hatch to add more ingredients if necessary.
Overall, a decent little mixer which will be useful if we end up locked down and spending all our time baking again!

Bought this mixer for baking. Extremely easy to use and does the job well. No issues to report. Seems well made and is not too noisy either. A good buy all round.
Bit of a faff putting it together the first time, but once I figured out the plastic cover, everything else was very straight forward. Great mixer that does a good job for much less than some other better known brands. Also love the bright colour where it rests in my kitchen.

The box stated purple, however I would say that this mixer is definitely pink! Which is fine as long as you are expecting this!
The mixer looks very nice and modern. The mixer comes with a large stainless steel bowl, a dough hook, a whisk and a beater as well as a splash guard. It comes with everything you would expect a more expensive mixer to have. The quality of the items are good and feel sturdy. There is a variety of mixing speeds suitable more making a variety of things.
At the time of reviewing this product was priced at 110.49 which I think is reasonably priced.
This is a very good stand mixer at this price point. It has all the attachments you need, splash guard, etc. and has 6 speed settings. It is not a match for the likes of KitchenAid but it retails at a fraction of the price, is solidly made, operates flawlessly, and is very easy to use. For the occasional baker, this is an excellent choice.
My first mixer. I wanted a robust but affordable mixer for my first attempt at making a Christmas cake. This mixer did the job well, mixing a massive mix in it’s sizeable mixing bowl. I was well pleased with the degree of control of mixer speeds, the mixer tools and it’s general feel of solid construction. One thing I would change is the colour! Blue and pink options?? Silver would have been good for me! Apart from the colour… I would recommend for anyone trying a mixer for the first time….. you won’t be disappointed!
Ho usato la planeraria gi 4 volte, per fare i composti delle mie torte.
Il prodotto ottimo, anche molto stabile grazie alle ventose, sebbene abbia due difetti:
– il fatto che la frusta non tocchi bene la base e i bordi quindi se si mettono pochi ingredienti nella planetaria fa difficolt a lavorarli. Idem per ci che finisce sui bordi, devo riportarlo al centro con la spatola e fare attacca e stacca un po’ una rottura.
– il fatto che non si possa usare (da istruzioni) pi di un tot di tempo con relativo tempo di riposo prima di riaccenderla.
Ho acquistato la planetaria in quanto notevolmente attratta dal prezzo. L’impastatrice fatta quasi interamente in plastica con qualche componente in acciaio. Oltre al corpo macchina, in dotazione, troviamo gli accessori, ossia una frusta, due ganci per impastare, coperchio in plastica.
L’ ho presa per impastare pizze, pane e devo dire che, nonostante il suo essere economica in tutto, il suo dovere lo fa egregiamente. Dispone di 4 velocit, pertanto pu essere utilizzata anche per impasti ad alta idratazione. Bello anche il design e devo dire che in cucina fa la sua figura. La consiglio, ma non aspettatevi una planetaria al pari di impastatori di prezzo superiore e di alte marche. Planetaria per chi resta umile.
Tra tutte le qualit che posso trovare in questo prodotto, mi sento di dire principalmente una cosa: ommioddio rosaaaaa! La adoro, stupenda, non mi serviva e l’ho presa ugualmente. Primo perch rosa, secondo perch aveva un coupon sconto di 30 pertanto l’ho pagata pochissimo e ho pensato che per un regalo sarebbe potuta andare bene. Per mi piaceva talmente tanto il colore che ho regalato la mia, presa da poco, a mia mamma e io mi sono tenuta questa.
Piccolina e compatta, ma con una planetaria in acciaio di grande capienza (6L). Comodissimo il manico laterale.
Anche la consegna andata bene, la confezione arrivata ulteriormente protetta da uno scatolone esterno, mentre invece di solito questi prodotti un p voluminosi mi arrivano con la confezione a vista.

I owned a Kitchenaid for many years and it’s hard to compare. This machine does not seem as sturdy, the different paddles are very light and flimsy feeling. However, it gets the job done. I really like the hot pink color and the large bowl. When its plugged it, the light on the knob never shuts off. Just a little annoying. Overall its a good mixer, I think for the price it is what it is.
First of all, I would like to say that for the price of this mixer, especially compared to others, you really just can’t go wrong. I’ve tried high-end mixers costing around 3 or 4 times the price of this one and the quality and performance are the exact same if not this one is better.
It comes delivered really quickly and in great packaging. The box it arrives in is actually quite small and not too heavy, around 5 kilos or so. I really like the colour of the mixer, a pink/fuchsia colour. There are many features and overall it is just fantastic.
It comes with 3 different whisks/beaters, including one for bread. The mixing bowl is large and has good quality stainless steel, and there is a splash guard which is great. The mixer isn’t too big and can fit on the countertop, and the fact it has anti-slip feet is great.
I did want to wait sometime before writing my review for this item, since I wanted to try making a couple of different things with it, like bread, cakes, creams etc…
It worked for every single one of them super well. The mixer is not too loud, and there are different speeds, the last couple of ones being really powerful which is great.

This pink mixer is such a funky addition to my kitchen and works like a dream. It comes with a 6L stainless steel bowl, 6 adjustable speeds, pulse setting and three mixing accessories. A tilt head function to easily remove bowl and change mixing accessories which can be easily washed in the dishwasher. Suction cups to prevent sliding and blue LED power light. So stylish and makes baking easy. Great product.
For nearly 15 years we have used an electric hand mixer. It has never failed us, but it is underpowered and there is no chance of it working with thick dough. Plus, it’s tricky to avoid making a mess and can’t be left unattended.
This mixer is fantastic, it is powerful, makes less noise, saves time and avoids any mess being made.
The mixer has suction feet to keep it steady and minimise noise through vibration (even on the highest setting).
The colour is bright pink, which is definitely going to appeal to the ladies in your life (hint hint, great Christmas present).
The bowl has a handle and is made of steel, so it’s durable and easy to carry about. It also prevents staining associated with plastic and means less harmful to the environment/longer lasting.
I was impressed with the small hole in the top of the mixer, which allows extra ingredients to be added without stopping the machine.
Making dough with this machine is so quick, easy and convenient. It doesn’t even need to be set to the fastest speed to get the job done properly due to the power in the machine.

The Rolls Royce of the stand mixers is the Kitchen Aid, but if you can’t afford to buy one of those, this would be a great alternative. Also, one of the selling points for this mixer is the colour choice, I never seen any pinkish/purple or baby blue coloured mixer, this will attract many buyers.
Arrived in a big brown box, everything was well packed in it, placed in a polyester cradle and all components sealed in a bag to protect from any damage during transport. A well-written user manual was also included, easy to read and understand even for a not kitchen master person too. Was easy to put together and get ready to use. I was expecting something smaller to be honest, but it was a good surprise when I saw how big and sturdy it is. There are a five suction cups on the bottom to help keep it in place on the table. even when this is operates on the fastest mixing speed.
The build quality is first class, the body of the blender is made from metal and the top is made from plastic. The mixing bowl capacity is 6L, which is more than enough even for professional use too. I can easily mix a big portion of bread dough in it. It doesn’t have digital display. Only one scrolling buttons located around on the side to turn it on, control the speed or set to pulse mode. It has 6 speeds in total and it operates with maximum of 1500W. I love how powerful it is, but I found it a little bit noisier than other mixers on the highest speed, but it doesn’t really bother me. It comes with everything you need: dough hook, whisk, and beater, all made from stainless still and it’s easy to clean as all are dishwasher safe as well.
There are so many things I can do with this mixer; I do my own bread for the family 2 times a week and usually I mix the dough together with this it, mix any cake ingredients, beat up the egg white for meringue, make a perfect wiped cream etc.
All around, this is a great mixer with basic feature I’ve ever had! I call her my new best friend as she is the “second chef” in my kitchen who never complains, if I put him to knead the bread dough. Good value for the money.
I finally found the machine I wanted. When I received it, the packaging was very good. The color of this machine is also quite good. It is a very beautiful pink and easy to operate. The bottom can be firmly glued and will not move easilyI bought it to make food for children. also simple and easy to operate, very suitable for my novice mother. Worth the price
Great unit for helping in the kitchen, I wanted the baby blue colour but the wife insisted we bought the pinky/purple colour.
Comes with a nicely sized mixing bowl, but the unit as a whole doesn’t actually take up too much countertop space. The 6 different speeds are completely adjustable and serve different purposes (1-2 for dough, etc.)
To the bottom of the mixer you’ll find 5 suction cups, these ensure that the mixer doesn’t take off when at full throttle.
I’ve always wanted to try one of these sleek professional looking mixers and I’m so glad I did! It makes like that little bit easier and so far as given the smoothest/lump free mixtures/doughs. This is a really nice food mixer, it’s very pink so not something i will personally keep but I know a friend that will absolutely love this and place it in the heart of her kitchen.
The quality is great, I’ve been testing it our for a couple of weeks and I’ve experience not problems at all.
This is a 1500W mixer with 6-Speed options to choose between and comes packaged with a number of accessories from dough hooks to whisks. All of these are very sturdy and great quality.
The mixing bowl size is really decent at 5.5 liters, that’s plenty enough for everyday use.
I’ve found it super simple to use. There’s just one control dial to operate it and a release lever that lifts the arm from the bowl. The included suction cups really help keep the mixer stuck in place, especially at it’s max setting.
Overall this is a really excellent quality food mixer here, it’s well-made and looks great too.

I’ve never had a mixer before and always wanted one I thort itnwas going to be so difficult to use but it was so simple and strait forward so if you havnt used one before it doesn’t matter.
The base had suction cups on to keep the mixer in place on your bench and the stick really well doesn’t budge when in use.
There is a leaver and a dial on the side of the mixer the leaver you push down and this lifts the top up then press the leaver down down you can push the top of mixer back down to start using.
It comes with 3 connectors a hook usually for bread and thick doughs
A beater for more like a cookie mix or can even mix salads with this.
And finally a wisk for you cake mix or pancakes etc…
These 4 connectors just push and twist onto the mixer then twist and pull to take them back off.
There is also a splash guard that goes on before the connector it just pushes into place when whisking so nothing splashes out at you.
The mixing bowl just sits I place and you give it a slight twist to lock it in then it shouldn’t move when in use.
The dial o the side of the mixer had 6 speeds you turn it clockwise to go up each speed or when it’s off if you turn it anti clockwise it will give a quick blast and mix till you let go of the dial.
It comes with a set of instructions but it really is all self explanatory

Ha una linea molto morbida ben curata non eccessivamente grande occupa poco spazio, leggera e le plastiche sono ben assemblate. Non adatta ad un uso professionale va bene per un uso casalingo, prepara dei buoni impasti soprattutto quelli morbidi per la preparazione di dolci e creme. Ho preparato anche impasti pi duri per le pizze il risultato stato soddisfacente molto morbido e compatto per non deve essere grande va bene fino ad 1,5 kg di farina. Durante l’utilizzo stabile anche a velocit elevate le ventose hanno un presa forte non oscilla per niente. Gli accessori e la ciotola sono facile da montare e sciacquare, grazie al coperchio si evitano gli schizzi evitando di sporcare la cucina.
This is a very good stand mixer. I’ve used it several times making bread and cakes and it is very powerful. Not too noisy, and it feels very sturdy and doesn’t move around like my old one did. The colour is a lovely vibrant dark pink and it looks great on display in my kitchen. Very good value for money.

I’ve had this for a few weeks and I’m really happy with my purchase. Large enough bowls to hold a large batch of dough or cake mix. From a gently whisk to a full-on power blend, the speeds range from low to high. It’s a little noisy, but that’s largely due to my bare, echoing kitchen. The White light behind the power dial is quite appealing to me. The smallest joys. Thrilling shouts for the low price, and the design is wonderful. Cheers

This might look like style over substance but nothing could be further from the truth, this both looks and performs amazingly well, it stands well and does not feel at all top-heavy like some and with suction feet if you’re using it on a worktop it is not going to move an inch, the mixer has 6 speeds and pulse and the stainless bowl has a handle which makes using it so much better than just a bowl type with no handle like my old one, all in all, this gets top marks from me, I really love it.
I was honestly kind of skeptical about how the quality would be when I ordered it, but…. I can honestly say it’s amazing. It’s very lightweight and has a beautiful pink finish. I’m extremely pleased
As a food-processor user, I was interested to see how this mixer would compare for cake making. Ot is certainly very attractive but also quite a bit larger than my processor, so you do need a bit more space to accommodate it. I do like the larger bowl, and it is powerful enough to produce a really good end result. Mixed the cake in about 20 seconds. The resulting mix might not be as fine a texture as with a food processor, but it is a really nice home-made cake texture. Relatively quiet compared to the food processor. Useful bowl cover. I noticed that they are using a very similar machine on Bake Off! Nice range of colours.
Overall I am very impressed with the mixer at this price.
It’s a great kitchen appliance!! The stand mixer comes with an 6L bowl with a splash guard, is powered by a 1500W motor. The ease of use is very simple, the device has 6 speed modes that can be adjusted quickly & easily with a dial on the front of the device. The base has suction cups that grip the kitchen worktops to afford extra stability & ensure the appliance doesn’t move during use. The unit comes with several different attachments which are dough Hook, whisk, beater. It looks great & so much easier than using a handheld whisker. Oh bread is now excellent, much easier now I don’t have to knead manually.
This stand mixer is very good quality made for a long time use I have to say. Has the 5.8-quart stainless steel bow, 6 speed setting range for different occasions with pulse function, LED indicator light better reminds work and additional pulse setting for quick blitzing. Very easy to insert and remove the bowl by lifting the head of the mixer. Has 5 bottom suction cups, confirm the standing mixers will perfect firmly suck on the countertop when it works. and you can via the LED indicator see the dough mixer works status and this is very helpful when using.

This kitchen stand mixer is an absolute godsend to me. I used to love baking cakes & making bread but I haven’t been able to do this for years now due to having fibromyalgia and not being able to whisk, mix or knead the ingredients, now Im able to just pop all the ingredients into the stainless steel mixing bowl, turn the knob to which speed I require and let this machine do it’s magic! The stand comes with 3 different accessories which include a whisk, dough hook & beater and a large stainless steel mixing bowl all of which are completely dishwasher safe. To get the bowl on and off the mixer you just push the lever which lifts the top part up making it easy to get the bowl on and off, when putting back on just give the bowl a little twist so it locks in place, leaving the bowl nice and sturdy. The stand itself is extremely sturdy on the work surface with 5 feet on the base which have a suction to them so it doesn’t move even when I’ve got it on the fastest setting. The colour is described as purple but I would say it’s more of a hot pink which I personally love! It’s a really sleek design and dosnt really take up that much space. Super simple to use, this is an absolute pleasure to use at a great price.
I used it for several days and already made cakes and brioche dough with it.
The bowl it’s big enough, looks solid and looks good on the counter, the noise that makes is not louder than others. Definitely, my life in the kitchen it’ll be much easier with this helper.
You never really know whether or not you will truly get your moneys worth out of tools like this, But I will say once you buy one it will encourage you to cook more and more. After I got the mixer and gave it a go, I quickly found myself deciding that I needed to make something else. Any excuse to make cupcakes or some bread pudding. Just anything to load it up again.
The quality of this item is up there. I will a little optimistic at first as I thought the price was far too high considering the competition of more well known brands. Despite my premature views I was surprised at the quality and attractiveness of this item. It has a vintage look to it that really does make you want to leave it on the counter top for everyone to see.

there is no terrible loud noises when in operation and the bottom suction cups firmly fix the machine on the table. The products build quality is high and it seems to be very strong. There are 6 speeds to choose from, all offering a different level of power. Even at the highest the machine is stable and not too loud.

I’m one of those people who has a love of cooking so I’m so glad I have the oppotunity to review this mixer. It came extremely well packed in a large retail box. In the box you get the mixer itself, an instruction book and various mixing attachments. Everything only took a couple of minutes to assemble and the mixer is very easy to use. After adding your attachment, there is a speed knob which clicks when rotated which controls the speed from slow and steady to jet power. I’ve used many mixers over the years but not come across one this powerful for a reasonable price. Everything is made to a very high specification and of course the mains plug is correctly fused so no issues in turms of safetey which is fantastic. The machine has rubber feet on the underside which stops it slipping about so whats not to like? this is ideal for making chapati flower and making cake mixture so I whole heartedly recommend this product 5 out of 5 no complaints.
Comes well packaged and the colour actually looks damm amazing.
Inside is the mixer, 3 attachments, mixing bowl and splash guard. The splash guard attachment goes onto the top frame then you simply click on the attachments you want. There is a dough mixer, general mixer and whisker to add air to the mix. The bowl clips onto the bottom and into place to allow the machine to go.
Now once you push and lock it down your ready to go. The cover nicely covers the bowl do will be no splashing at all in use. The speed dial flashes a gentle white which looks very nice and then you have multiple speed settings which work perfectly.
Now in use it does perfectly well and added air to my dough mix which I then used for oven baked pizza. Also for bread did a perfect job. For bread also a lovely job which worked exceptionally well. Only meh point I found in it, is when pushing it down the locking clip is a bit meh. Can take 2-3 tries to lock properly.
Overall for the price very well built, looks stunning and does the job very well. Perfect.
Got this after newly purchased mixed borrowed and lost by sister. Not sure how possible to lost a mixer, however had to buy quickly replacement. Delivered by amazon very quickly, unit itself very powerful, glad it has suction cups which holds main unit very stable, even on max speed it doesn’t move. Due to soft rubber suction caps it also absorbs vibration and no extra noice.
Bowl steal made, not plastic as my old model, perfect for cleaning and keep plastick flavour away.

This is a good sized family food mixer if you like making bread, cakes and all other sorts of baking / mixing.
Available in two colours this is the purple but it’s really more of a pink.
The mixer has a 1500W motor so plenty powerful.
6 separate speed settings that you index through.
Also a pulse operation by turning the control knob to P.
The mixing bowl is plenty large enough for any mixes I will use.
The 3 attachments (2 of them have a fitted collar / splash guard – 1 oddly the whisk doesn’t) are
1) A dough hook for making bread
2) A general purpose beater for mixing.
3) A balloon whisk – great for whipping cream.
The bowl locks into the base so it can’t move – you do that simply by rotating the bowl slightly in the direction of the arrow / lock sign.
There’s also a splash guard that covers the bowl when the mixer head is down, this simply pushes onto the head and is secured with 4 silicone spacers that seem to grip quite well.
The mixer is interlocked so it only works when the head is down and locked in place.
The control knob lights up and pulses when the power is on & stays as a solid light when it’s active.
The mixer has 4 suction feet on the base so it’s unlikely to wander round your worktop.
All in all quite impressed with this and I think is good value for what it does.

I spent lengthy time on choosing the right one from lots of similar ones. Being an engineer, I particularly check Specifications, e.g. the weight, the noise level. The product specification clearly includes noise level. Many others don’t have. Surprisingly, my husband said it’s so quiet, I like it, after he used.
I chose this colour which perfectly matches my kitchen.
I do a lot of baking from brownies to sourdough bread, but due to neuropathy in one hand this has become increasingly difficult, so I’ve been looking for a stand mixer for a while now. This Facelle model fits the bill perfectly and I am very pleased at the quality of it.
Firstly, I love the retro look of it, reminded me of old 50’s machines, but with far superior operation and the bright pink colour is just fantastic.
I have now used this to make bread, the dough hook is perfect, and macarons. It made light work of both.
It sits on the worktop securely, due to its sucker feet and even when mixing bread dough it stayed put. It’s relatively quiet when it’s running too.
I’m very happy with all aspects of this machine, from its look, it’s quality and excellent operation. I am more than happy to recommend this to any baker. I love it.

This is great for bread dough (be sure to get a total of at least 10 minutes kneading though, it’s longer than it says).
I have marked it down as star as I have completely no idea what material the dough hook and mixer are made of. The Whisk and bowl are stainless steel which is a great plus point. With a stainless steel dough hook, it’d be 5*, but this one looks to have some sort of non-stick coating (terrible for the environment when being made and terrible when it degrades).
Just like you think of putting the Hoover around when you really mean the vacuum cleaner, when you’re going to bake a cake you’re going to use a Kenwood. That’s what many people refer to a mixer as.
My mum has an original Kenwood Chef A701a from the early 70’s which I grew up using, and when I moved out and bought my own place I hunted down a comparitively whipper-snapper fresh A901 from the late 70’s which I use regularly. It’s over 40 years old, built like a tank, and keeps on banging out my pizza dough and my wife’s cakes. It weighs a tonne and just keeps going. It’s got all its original attachments and I can’t imagine replacing it.
So, what chance does this bright pink new kid on the block stand?
Actually, it’s not bad. It really isn’t. Firstly, lets address the colour. It was available in blue or purple, and we went with purple. It really isn’t. It’s pink. Loud, garish, in your face pink. Placing it side by side with our brutalist Kenwood there are many similarities that despite the passing of the decades many of the characteristics of the Kenwood can be seen on the Facelle. The hinge mechanism is controlled in the same way, the control dial is in the same place, and the utensils are very similar. The whisk and dough hooks are virtually the same, the only difference coming that the flat beater isn’t in the famous “K” shape of the Kenwood. While looking the same, the utensils don’t appear as solid as the Kenwood though. Will they survive 40 years of abuse, I’m not so sure. I did like the stainless steel mixing bowl, which I found nicer than my original Kenwood plastic bowl. Having said that though, I didn’t find the way the feet of the bowl attached to the base of the mixer anything like as positive as the Kenwood’s method. What I did like was the splash guard which slides onto the head of the mixer which covers the bowl when you drop it into place. It does have an opening to add ingredients to the mixture, but generally this really did help keep mess to a minimum. I aways, always have to clear up flour from around the Kenwood after I’ve made some pizza dough.
The constuction of the mixer, pinkness aside, is pretty solid. It isn’t military grade like the Kenwood, but it’s robust enough. It doesn’t have the weight of the Kenwood, which maintains its stability when mixing from its pure mass keeping it planted on the work surface. The Facelle opts for suckers on its feet, which in fairness work really well. I only detected any kind of movement when it was on full power, and even that was minor. It certainly wasn’t walking itself around my kitchen. It was impressively sturdy.
The control dial on the Facelle is a little cheap. It felt like it might not last the test of time, being some quite tacky plastic if I’m brutally honest. The control was smooth in operation, and the motor seemed to have plenty of delivery. My ancient old mixer dates from a time before pulse-speed was a thing, so I was quite appreciative of the Facelle having that function.
The main missing feature between the Kenwood and the Facelle though is the lack of a blender attachment. On the Kenwood you can remove a panel from the top which reveals an additional gear for connecting a chunky glass blender jug to. It’s not something we use very often, but when we do it makes short work of anything we put in it. Whether not having the blender functionality is important to you is for you to decide, but it would have been nice to have the option.
Overall though, I was impressed with the Facelle mixer. It’s not on the same level as the Kenwood, that was clear to me. But it’s also not on the same price level as the Kenwood. If you were to but an equivelent Kenwood today you’d be looking in the 400 region, whereas at the time of testing the Facelle was 115. If you’re a sem-professional baker, or a very enthusiastic home baker, you’d be best suited to a Kenwood. But, unless you are one of those, then the Facelle is a really worthwhile purchase. If you accept that it isn’t a Kenwood, you’ll be very happy with it. It’s not going to be an heirloom passed from generation to generation, but it’ll help you bake a banging victoria sponge right now.

We chose this Facelle electric food mixer primarily for its lovely unique blue colour. It add a splash of colour to our kitchen band brightens everything. However, it is a great stand mixer in it own right. It has 6 litre stainless steel mixing bowl which is absolutely big enough for all home baking. It it very powerful with a 1500W motor and 6 different speed control. It fixes securely to you worktop with absolutely no movement using five suction cups on its base. It comes with various useful accessories for mixing dough, whisking, and a beater. There in an optional guard to prevent mess or splashing.
Absolutely gorgeous, the colour is absolutely gorgeous.
It’s great size, not too big or bulky.
It’s lightweight yet very sturdy.

Bought this mixer without really looking into it much as my own mixer broke and I had multiple orders to complete that weekend. I am someone most definitely uses this mixer extremely regularly sometimes multiple times a day. I have not had any problems with this mixer at all. The bowl i find it very easy to clean as it is solid with no gaps/crevice’s and i often put in the dishwasher. For the price I think this mixer is extremely good.

I purchased this mixer based on positive reviews and I’m not disappointed. Easy to use with a powerful but relatively quiet motor, at least the motor didn’t scare my cat who doesn’t like noisy appliances.
So far I’ve used the whisk only and that was big enough to reach the bottom of the bowl.

I bought this stand mixer to replace one that didn’t have a splash guard. After carefully checking lots of different models, I decided on this particular one as it had all the features I needed and was really competitively priced – and I loved the pale blue colour! I’ve used it a couple of times up to now, and so far it seems to be working well. Although it states that the whisk leaves nothing g around the sides of the bowl, I’ve found that I do need to run a spatula around the sides – which is no big deal. Also, I noticed the whisk didn’t get right to the bottom of the bowl in the centre, but again, this wasn’t really an issue as it wasn’t very much. Overall, I love it and it’s a joy to use.

I have only used this for making cakes and whipping cream, so can not comment on the dough hook. I bought this as I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia and was struggling to hold a hand mixer for too long. This is absolutely fantastic, I should if bought one years ago.
I absolutely love this mixer,it’s my new favourite toy!!! Been baking almost everyday since it arrived. Love the style,the attachments are a big help with mixing different ingredients,easy to clean. If you are looking for a food mixer and don’t want to pay big brand name price tags, this Facelle might be the one for you.
Out of the box the design is striking, I’m sure most people would be happy to leave it on display in their kitchen, due to the size some people might not have a choice as it requires a fair bit of storage space.
The 6 litre bowl is big enough for most baking needs and the range of attachments while standard offer what you would need — Beater, Whisk and Dough hook.
In use the suction cups hold it firmly in place, the splash guard is useful when adding ingredients and the 6 speeds are easy to control.
When you have finished with it its quick to take apart and clean.
My mum has finally got rid of her 3year only hand mixer and is very proud to have the Facelle mixer instead, lets hope it does 30 years.

Fabulous. So glad I went for this model after extensive research and reading reviews. My older, cheaper stand mixer was starting to misbehave badly, and had never been that good anyway! I treated myself to a new one and bought the Facelle (in white as it will reside in a cupboard between uses, no need for bright colours). So far I have made a 3-layer Victoria sponge, a chocolate cake and blueberry muffins. Planning a Bundt cake this weekend 🙂 I am really impressed with it. A really good mid-priced stand mixer and will do nicely for the occasional baker like me.

Well balanced, it’s rubber feet help keep it stable and it doesn’t slide across the countertop. Not too heavy though.
Worst part about this mixer is the manual: one smallish picture (components are numbered for easy reference later in the manual). There are then 3 pages in English, of which about 1.5 are “safety instructions”
My wife is very familiar with this type of mixer and didn’t really need a user guide but anyone new to this type of mixer will probably struggle.
Aside from that, the mixer itself works very well and my wife recommends it!
Such great style, ingenuity and practicality slightly thwarted by how much the machine sucks. Why I should have to prize the machine up every time I wish to reposition it or indeed put it away is a sincere mystery, what when we have devices with levers that impress a suction to surfaces and even pull tabs by way to release.
Adding to my frustration with this product is its lack of any assertive lock between the main unit and the steel mixing bowl. It glides in its rotate-and-lock-schematic so smoothly that one is left wondering if it is truly secure.
Another eyebrow raiser is the steel bowl guard’s lack to commit to any true locking mechanism. It literally suspends on the neck of the construct held in place by four rubber grips??? Im not altogether trashing this method which proves effective, I’m simply suggesting that the unit is very posh and deserves a bit more “attention to detail” and even reassurance to the user.
Once you have those cons out the mix you are actually looking at a superior unit here. Very simple to use: where you can administer short, powerful, manual blasts by turning the dial anti- clockwise and you can set it on 6 levels of power (each more vivacious than its lower numeric) when the dial is fixed in one of the clockwise positions.
Sadly my old faithful mixer is now redundant. I have enjoyed many a year with my old mixer, which has a slighly larger capacity mixing bowl. My old mixer was quite noisy and had the kick of a mule. When mixing, even whipping, one had to hold the mixer down as it had so much power that it would try to jump all over the kitchen. It has a great kick to it so bread dough was perfect.
This mixer is different. It’s not as powerful as my old mixer but then again that is a good thing as the old one had too much. This is also much quieter when in operation. As a rough estimate it is no less than 50% quieter and it has no kick. The mixer remains in place so one doesn’t have to hold it sown thus having a few minutes to do other things whilst the mixer gets on with the task it’s assigned.
The build of this mixer is very good and strongand the appearance is good enough for it to proudly stand on a worktop, on display, rather than being hidden away in a cupboard.
As my images show, I used this to make a lamb doner kebab and it did mix the ingredients well. The mixing blade had to turn through 1.3kg of minced meat and turn it into a paste so it could be hand moulded onto a skewer. The end result was not quite like the kebab from takeaways but that was never the intention. Only the best ingredients were used and no extra, unnecessary, fat was added.
The mixer produced the kebab with ease so it has enough power for all domestic kitchen tasks. It can beat, knead and whisk with no issues and no excessive noise.
As I stated in the beginning of this review, my old mixer is now redundant as this one is it’s replacement. I’m going to miss the old mixer but then again I am also going to enjoy starting this one then leaving it to do it’s work whilst I do other things, which I couldn’t do with the old one.
I am recommending this product as it is well made to a good quality standard, it has just the right amount of power, it’s got a low noise level, can perform any task in a domestic kitchen and it is very good value for what it will deliver for quite some time

Colour is gorgeous, bright and vibrant. Sticks firm to the worktop while on and isn’t too loud. Perfect for any bakers.
This does all the things you would expect and hope for, without being over-burdened by complicated controls.
It takes a bit of getting used to only having one attachment instead of two, but that seems to be the fashion now. It is actually a good thing for us. My mum managed to break a mixer by putting the attachments into the wrong slots and getting them jammed, which you can’t do when there is only one slot!
Another big improvement over our old mixer is the built-in lid. My mum has been known to drape tea towels over the mixer to stop splashes, but with the lid this won’t be a problem any more, and the lid even has a little hatch to add more ingredients if necessary.
Overall, a decent little mixer which will be useful if we end up locked down and spending all our time baking again!

The box stated purple, however I would say that this mixer is definitely pink! Which is fine as long as you are expecting this!
The mixer looks very nice and modern. The mixer comes with a large stainless steel bowl, a dough hook, a whisk and a beater as well as a splash guard. It comes with everything you would expect a more expensive mixer to have. The quality of the items are good and feel sturdy. There is a variety of mixing speeds suitable more making a variety of things.
At the time of reviewing this product was priced at 110.49 which I think is reasonably priced.

This is a very good stand mixer at this price point. It has all the attachments you need, splash guard, etc. and has 6 speed settings. It is not a match for the likes of KitchenAid but it retails at a fraction of the price, is solidly made, operates flawlessly, and is very easy to use. For the occasional baker, this is an excellent choice.

My first mixer. I wanted a robust but affordable mixer for my first attempt at making a Christmas cake. This mixer did the job well, mixing a massive mix in it’s sizeable mixing bowl. I was well pleased with the degree of control of mixer speeds, the mixer tools and it’s general feel of solid construction. One thing I would change is the colour! Blue and pink options?? Silver would have been good for me! Apart from the colour… I would recommend for anyone trying a mixer for the first time….. you won’t be disappointed!

– il fatto che la frusta non tocchi bene la base e i bordi quindi se si mettono pochi ingredienti nella planetaria fa difficolt a lavorarli. Idem per ci che finisce sui bordi, devo riportarlo al centro con la spatola e fare attacca e stacca un po’ una rottura.
– il fatto che non si possa usare (da istruzioni) pi di un tot di tempo con relativo tempo di riposo prima di riaccenderla.
L’ ho presa per impastare pizze, pane e devo dire che, nonostante il suo essere economica in tutto, il suo dovere lo fa egregiamente. Dispone di 4 velocit, pertanto pu essere utilizzata anche per impasti ad alta idratazione. Bello anche il design e devo dire che in cucina fa la sua figura. La consiglio, ma non aspettatevi una planetaria al pari di impastatori di prezzo superiore e di alte marche. Planetaria per chi resta umile.
Piccolina e compatta, ma con una planetaria in acciaio di grande capienza (6L). Comodissimo il manico laterale.
Anche la consegna andata bene, la confezione arrivata ulteriormente protetta da uno scatolone esterno, mentre invece di solito questi prodotti un p voluminosi mi arrivano con la confezione a vista.

First of all, I would like to say that for the price of this mixer, especially compared to others, you really just can’t go wrong. I’ve tried high-end mixers costing around 3 or 4 times the price of this one and the quality and performance are the exact same if not this one is better.
It comes delivered really quickly and in great packaging. The box it arrives in is actually quite small and not too heavy, around 5 kilos or so. I really like the colour of the mixer, a pink/fuchsia colour. There are many features and overall it is just fantastic.
It comes with 3 different whisks/beaters, including one for bread. The mixing bowl is large and has good quality stainless steel, and there is a splash guard which is great. The mixer isn’t too big and can fit on the countertop, and the fact it has anti-slip feet is great.
I did want to wait sometime before writing my review for this item, since I wanted to try making a couple of different things with it, like bread, cakes, creams etc…
It worked for every single one of them super well. The mixer is not too loud, and there are different speeds, the last couple of ones being really powerful which is great.
Overall, the price and quality are fantastic. I highly recommend this amazing mixer and I will definitely be using it all the time now.

This pink mixer is such a funky addition to my kitchen and works like a dream. It comes with a 6L stainless steel bowl, 6 adjustable speeds, pulse setting and three mixing accessories. A tilt head function to easily remove bowl and change mixing accessories which can be easily washed in the dishwasher. Suction cups to prevent sliding and blue LED power light. So stylish and makes baking easy. Great product.
This mixer is fantastic, it is powerful, makes less noise, saves time and avoids any mess being made.
The mixer has suction feet to keep it steady and minimise noise through vibration (even on the highest setting).

The bowl has a handle and is made of steel, so it’s durable and easy to carry about. It also prevents staining associated with plastic and means less harmful to the environment/longer lasting.

The Rolls Royce of the stand mixers is the Kitchen Aid, but if you can’t afford to buy one of those, this would be a great alternative. Also, one of the selling points for this mixer is the colour choice, I never seen any pinkish/purple or baby blue coloured mixer, this will attract many buyers.
Arrived in a big brown box, everything was well packed in it, placed in a polyester cradle and all components sealed in a bag to protect from any damage during transport. A well-written user manual was also included, easy to read and understand even for a not kitchen master person too. Was easy to put together and get ready to use. I was expecting something smaller to be honest, but it was a good surprise when I saw how big and sturdy it is. There are a five suction cups on the bottom to help keep it in place on the table. even when this is operates on the fastest mixing speed.
The build quality is first class, the body of the blender is made from metal and the top is made from plastic. The mixing bowl capacity is 6L, which is more than enough even for professional use too. I can easily mix a big portion of bread dough in it. It doesn’t have digital display. Only one scrolling buttons located around on the side to turn it on, control the speed or set to pulse mode. It has 6 speeds in total and it operates with maximum of 1500W. I love how powerful it is, but I found it a little bit noisier than other mixers on the highest speed, but it doesn’t really bother me. It comes with everything you need: dough hook, whisk, and beater, all made from stainless still and it’s easy to clean as all are dishwasher safe as well.
There are so many things I can do with this mixer; I do my own bread for the family 2 times a week and usually I mix the dough together with this it, mix any cake ingredients, beat up the egg white for meringue, make a perfect wiped cream etc.
All around, this is a great mixer with basic feature I’ve ever had! I call her my new best friend as she is the “second chef” in my kitchen who never complains, if I put him to knead the bread dough. Good value for the money.

Comes with a nicely sized mixing bowl, but the unit as a whole doesn’t actually take up too much countertop space. The 6 different speeds are completely adjustable and serve different purposes (1-2 for dough, etc.)
To the bottom of the mixer you’ll find 5 suction cups, these ensure that the mixer doesn’t take off when at full throttle.

This is a really nice food mixer, it’s very pink so not something i will personally keep but I know a friend that will absolutely love this and place it in the heart of her kitchen.
The quality is great, I’ve been testing it our for a couple of weeks and I’ve experience not problems at all.
This is a 1500W mixer with 6-Speed options to choose between and comes packaged with a number of accessories from dough hooks to whisks. All of these are very sturdy and great quality.
The mixing bowl size is really decent at 5.5 liters, that’s plenty enough for everyday use.
I’ve found it super simple to use. There’s just one control dial to operate it and a release lever that lifts the arm from the bowl. The included suction cups really help keep the mixer stuck in place, especially at it’s max setting.
Overall this is a really excellent quality food mixer here, it’s well-made and looks great too.

The base had suction cups on to keep the mixer in place on your bench and the stick really well doesn’t budge when in use.
There is a leaver and a dial on the side of the mixer the leaver you push down and this lifts the top up then press the leaver down down you can push the top of mixer back down to start using.
It comes with 3 connectors a hook usually for bread and thick doughs
A beater for more like a cookie mix or can even mix salads with this.
And finally a wisk for you cake mix or pancakes etc…
These 4 connectors just push and twist onto the mixer then twist and pull to take them back off.
There is also a splash guard that goes on before the connector it just pushes into place when whisking so nothing splashes out at you.
The mixing bowl just sits I place and you give it a slight twist to lock it in then it shouldn’t move when in use.
The dial o the side of the mixer had 6 speeds you turn it clockwise to go up each speed or when it’s off if you turn it anti clockwise it will give a quick blast and mix till you let go of the dial.
It comes with a set of instructions but it really is all self explanatory

This is a very good stand mixer. I’ve used it several times making bread and cakes and it is very powerful. Not too noisy, and it feels very sturdy and doesn’t move around like my old one did. The colour is a lovely vibrant dark pink and it looks great on display in my kitchen. Very good value for money.

Aside from the sophistication, you get all the essentials you’d expect from a working stand mixer, such as a beater, whisk, and dough hook, however this model allows you to make more, better, and with more personalization options.
This might look like style over substance but nothing could be further from the truth, this both looks and performs amazingly well, it stands well and does not feel at all top-heavy like some and with suction feet if you’re using it on a worktop it is not going to move an inch, the mixer has 6 speeds and pulse and the stainless bowl has a handle which makes using it so much better than just a bowl type with no handle like my old one, all in all, this gets top marks from me, I really love it.

As a food-processor user, I was interested to see how this mixer would compare for cake making. Ot is certainly very attractive but also quite a bit larger than my processor, so you do need a bit more space to accommodate it. I do like the larger bowl, and it is powerful enough to produce a really good end result. Mixed the cake in about 20 seconds. The resulting mix might not be as fine a texture as with a food processor, but it is a really nice home-made cake texture. Relatively quiet compared to the food processor. Useful bowl cover. I noticed that they are using a very similar machine on Bake Off! Nice range of colours.
Overall I am very impressed with the mixer at this price.
It’s a great kitchen appliance!! The stand mixer comes with an 6L bowl with a splash guard, is powered by a 1500W motor. The ease of use is very simple, the device has 6 speed modes that can be adjusted quickly & easily with a dial on the front of the device. The base has suction cups that grip the kitchen worktops to afford extra stability & ensure the appliance doesn’t move during use. The unit comes with several different attachments which are dough Hook, whisk, beater. It looks great & so much easier than using a handheld whisker. This stand mixer is very good quality made for a long time use I have to say. Has the 5.8-quart stainless steel bow, 6 speed setting range for different occasions with pulse function, LED indicator light better reminds work and additional pulse setting for quick blitzing. Very easy to insert and remove the bowl by lifting the head of the mixer. Has 5 bottom suction cups, confirm the standing mixers will perfect firmly suck on the countertop when it works. and you can via the LED indicator see the dough mixer works status and this is very helpful when using.

You never really know whether or not you will truly get your moneys worth out of tools like this, But I will say once you buy one it will encourage you to cook more and more. After I got the mixer and gave it a go, I quickly found myself deciding that I needed to make something else. Any excuse to make cupcakes or some bread pudding. Just anything to load it up again.
The quality of this item is up there. I will a little optimistic at first as I thought the price was far too high considering the competition of more well known brands. there is no terrible loud noises when in operation and the bottom suction cups firmly fix the machine on the table. The products build quality is high and it seems to be very strong. There are 6 speeds to choose from, all offering a different level of power. Even at the highest the machine is stable and not too loud.

I’m one of those people who has a love of cooking so I’m so glad I have the oppotunity to review this mixer. It came extremely well packed in a large retail box. In the box you get the mixer itself, an instruction book and various mixing attachments. Everything only took a couple of minutes to assemble and the mixer is very easy to use. After adding your attachment, there is a speed knob which clicks when rotated which controls the speed from slow and steady to jet power. I’ve used many mixers over the years but not come across one this powerful for a reasonable price. Everything is made to a very high specification and of course the mains plug is correctly fused so no issues in turms of safetey which is fantastic. The machine has rubber feet on the underside which stops it slipping about so whats not to like? this is ideal for making chapati flower and making cake mixture so I whole heartedly recommend this product 5 out of 5 no complaints.
Comes well packaged and the colour actually looks damm amazing.
Inside is the mixer, 3 attachments, mixing bowl and splash guard. The splash guard attachment goes onto the top frame then you simply click on the attachments you want. There is a dough mixer, general mixer and whisker to add air to the mix. The bowl clips onto the bottom and into place to allow the machine to go.
Now once you push and lock it down your ready to go. The cover nicely covers the bowl do will be no splashing at all in use. The speed dial flashes a gentle white which looks very nice and then you have multiple speed settings which work perfectly.
Now in use it does perfectly well and added air to my dough mix which I then used for oven baked pizza. Also for bread did a perfect job. For bread also a lovely job which worked exceptionally well. Only meh point I found in it, is when pushing it down the locking clip is a bit meh. Can take 2-3 tries to lock properly.
Overall for the price very well built, looks stunning and does the job very well. Perfect.

This is a good sized family food mixer if you like making bread, cakes and all other sorts of baking / mixing.
Available in two colours this is the purple but it’s really more of a pink.
The mixer has a 1500W motor so plenty powerful.
6 separate speed settings that you index through.
Also a pulse operation by turning the control knob to P.
The mixing bowl is plenty large enough for any mixes I will use.
The 3 attachments (2 of them have a fitted collar / splash guard – 1 oddly the whisk doesn’t) are
1) A dough hook for making bread
2) A general purpose beater for mixing.
3) A balloon whisk – great for whipping cream.
The bowl locks into the base so it can’t move – you do that simply by rotating the bowl slightly in the direction of the arrow / lock sign.
There’s also a splash guard that covers the bowl when the mixer head is down, this simply pushes onto the head and is secured with 4 silicone spacers that seem to grip quite well.
The mixer is interlocked so it only works when the head is down and locked in place.
The control knob lights up and pulses when the power is on & stays as a solid light when it’s active.
The mixer has 4 suction feet on the base so it’s unlikely to wander round your worktop.
All in all quite impressed with this and I think is good value for what it does.
I spent lengthy time on choosing the right one from lots of similar ones. Being an engineer, I particularly check Specifications, e.g. the weight, the noise level. The product specification clearly includes noise level. Many others don’t have. Surprisingly, my husband said it’s so quiet, I like it, after he used.
I chose this colour which perfectly matches my kitchen.
Firstly, I love the retro look of it, reminded me of old 50’s machines, but with far superior operation and the bright pink colour is just fantastic.
I have now used this to make bread, the dough hook is perfect, and macarons. It made light work of both.
It sits on the worktop securely, due to its sucker feet and even when mixing bread dough it stayed put. It’s relatively quiet when it’s running too.
I’m very happy with all aspects of this machine, from its look, it’s quality and excellent operation. I am more than happy to recommend this to any baker. I love it.

This is great for bread dough (be sure to get a total of at least 10 minutes kneading though, it’s longer than it says).
I have marked it down as star as I have completely no idea what material the dough hook and mixer are made of. The Whisk and bowl are stainless steel which is a great plus point. With a stainless steel dough hook, it’d be 5*, but this one looks to have some sort of non-stick coating (terrible for the environment when being made and terrible when it degrades).
My mum has an original Kenwood Chef A701a from the early 70’s which I grew up using, and when I moved out and bought my own place I hunted down a comparitively whipper-snapper fresh A901 from the late 70’s which I use regularly. It’s over 40 years old, built like a tank, and keeps on banging out my pizza dough and my wife’s cakes. It weighs a tonne and just keeps going. It’s got all its original attachments and I can’t imagine replacing it.
So, what chance does this bright pink new kid on the block stand?
Actually, it’s not bad. It really isn’t. Firstly, lets address the colour. It was available in blue or purple, and we went with purple. It really isn’t. It’s pink. Loud, garish, in your face pink. Placing it side by side with our brutalist Kenwood there are many similarities that despite the passing of the decades many of the characteristics of the Kenwood can be seen on the Facelle. The hinge mechanism is controlled in the same way, the control dial is in the same place, and the utensils are very similar. The whisk and dough hooks are virtually the same, the only difference coming that the flat beater isn’t in the famous “K” shape of the Kenwood. While looking the same, the utensils don’t appear as solid as the Kenwood though. Will they survive 40 years of abuse, I’m not so sure. I did like the stainless steel mixing bowl, which I found nicer than my original Kenwood plastic bowl. Having said that though, I didn’t find the way the feet of the bowl attached to the base of the mixer anything like as positive as the Kenwood’s method. What I did like was the splash guard which slides onto the head of the mixer which covers the bowl when you drop it into place. It does have an opening to add ingredients to the mixture, but generally this really did help keep mess to a minimum. I aways, always have to clear up flour from around the Kenwood after I’ve made some pizza dough.
The constuction of the mixer, pinkness aside, is pretty solid. It isn’t military grade like the Kenwood, but it’s robust enough. It doesn’t have the weight of the Kenwood, which maintains its stability when mixing from its pure mass keeping it planted on the work surface. The Facelle opts for suckers on its feet, which in fairness work really well. I only detected any kind of movement when it was on full power, and even that was minor. It certainly wasn’t walking itself around my kitchen. It was impressively sturdy.
The control dial on the Facelle is a little cheap. It felt like it might not last the test of time, being some quite tacky plastic if I’m brutally honest. The control was smooth in operation, and the motor seemed to have plenty of delivery. My ancient old mixer dates from a time before pulse-speed was a thing, so I was quite appreciative of the Facelle having that function.
The main missing feature between the Kenwood and the Facelle though is the lack of a blender attachment. On the Kenwood you can remove a panel from the top which reveals an additional gear for connecting a chunky glass blender jug to. It’s not something we use very often, but when we do it makes short work of anything we put in it. Whether not having the blender functionality is important to you is for you to decide, but it would have been nice to have the option.
Overall though, I was impressed with the Facelle mixer. It’s not on the same level as the Kenwood, that was clear to me. But it’s also not on the same price level as the Kenwood. If you were to but an equivelent Kenwood today you’d be looking in the 400 region, whereas at the time of testing the Facelle was 115. If you’re a sem-professional baker, or a very enthusiastic home baker, you’d be best suited to a Kenwood. But, unless you are one of those, then the Facelle is a really worthwhile purchase. If you accept that it isn’t a Kenwood, you’ll be very happy with it. It’s not going to be an heirloom passed from generation to generation, but it’ll help you bake a banging victoria sponge right now.
