Are the KitBrix bags the same apart from colour?
Yes! The KitBrix bags have been designed to be exactly the same apart from colour. The same structure allows the bags to be zipped together for easy travel and to be carried in rucksack form.
What do I actually get when I order a KitBrix bag?
When you order your KitBrix bag, you will receive a strap that can be used in a number of locations on the bag, icons that can be inserted in the outside of your KitBrix, PLUS if you get a second KitBrix you can use the two straps to form a rucksack!
Is the KitBrix bag waterproof?
The base of the bag is waterproof, the bag itself is water resistant to exceptional levels but because the zippers interlink we are not able to 100% claim the bag is waterproof…nearly though!
Are the straps adjustable?
Yes. The strap has an 8” adjustability strap that is padded for comfort. Some people prefer to take off the outer overwrap and use the less bulky single nylon strap.

Great bag. My type of bag. Durable bottom won’t wear out. Water proof storage and pockets. Convenient mesh side pockets. Comfortable carrying strap. Excellent zippers.
I bought it to be a gym bag but it’s a hair small, I use it for fishing or traveling.
It’s a great piece of kit, love the rigid base and the multiple pockets and storage areas. Feels like it could take a beating and still look good after years of use! A bit pricey but I’m hoping it’s going to be “you get what you pay for” thing!

It’s not well packaged, they flat pack them (for obvious reasons) which causes what seems like permanent creases (I’ve tried removing them). Those creases cause issue with the zip and discolouration on the creases themselves. Also struggles to hold its shape.
Seems a little overpriced for what it is.
I did drop the manufacturer a message about it but never heard anything.

I think the selling point of this bag is that you can buy multiple and zip them together — that way you can setup for multiple sports, activities, etc — and still carry and organize together. They do feel a bit pricey for what you get — and buying 3 — is an investment. They are well built, square by design, and a few nice features like the mesh front pockets.

Perfectly simple storage solution for your MTB bike kit and this is the second one I have purchased (one for each discipline as I ride road also). You will fit everything you need for the day such as shoes, one set of clothes, glasses, knee pads, gloves, helmet, spares and bits of food. Perfect for all your needs. As a plus you are provided with a selection of cards for you to insert behind a clear display to say what discipline it is you are using the bag for, and there is also a section for you to place an ID card in also. Comes with shoulders strap for you to carry around comfortably. Please note this isn’t to use during riding, but to transport your kit to wherever you are going. Finally is made with wipe clean material so if you get it mucky it is easily cleaned. I think it is worth it!
Gave it as a gift and what I have been told it is great for holding her gear. An aero helmet is tight with all the gear but it fits. The build quality is excellent and the seams are heavy so wear quality will be good
This is an excellent quality bag. My eldest son is a very keen triathlete and he cannot praise it highly enough. It is very strong and sturdy – and so are the zips – so it will take hard wear and hard weather, too. It comes folded flat but when you open it up – it’s huge inside and takes a massive amount of gear and keeps it safe. And it has external pockets as well, for the things you need quick access to. And, best of all, if you want to, you can zip two or more of these bags together, so it’s great for teams and groups as well as individuals. It is amazingly well thought out and very impressive.
This is a very impressive piece of kit. It’s really well made from the material to the stitching and the fact that it’s completely waterproof. There are plenty of side pockets both internally and externally. The 20 litre capacity isn’t huge but then again it’s designed so you can add together multiple bags for separate gear and to add to the amount you can hold. It’s of average weigh pot not particularly light but then with the reinforced base and quality materials it isn’t going to be something particularly light.

This is the kit bag I have always needed and never found. I am shocked that I have managed to get this for free to review. I am so fortunate.
I’ll talk about some of the features.
Described as a multi purpose sports bag that keeps your kit organised, clean and dry. I can categorically state that this bag works exactly how it is meant to. Inside you have 4 Kit Icons; Running / Swimming / Cycling / Blank for your own customisation
You get 3 waterproof internal zip pockets, I have used one to store footwear, one to store wet kit and the other to keep my dry kit dry.
There’s an ID Card transparent pocket used to make sure my bag will never get mixed up with anyone elses. That does happen. There are also outer web pockets to store any other bits and bobs.
The bags construction is made from a super heavy duty tarpaulin type material, the waterproof type. Its so strong. You know it’s good for the battle. The same can be said for the base. Ultra hard wearing and it will definitely stand the rigours of being thrown about in all conditions.
Having used this sparingly during lockdown I’m already confident that this bag is going to last for a lifetime. It really is that good.
Yes it is expensive. 58 at time of writing. But Im convinced in my mind, I’ll never need to buy another kit bag again.

The bag arrived folded-up and I recommend stuffing it with newspaper and leaving it for a few days or it will just keep trying to fold over when you are packing it. The bag is very sturdy indeed. It is made of a very thick material and the zips, handles and pockets are all equally robust. I think that this bag will last years as long as you treat it with care. The square design does mean you can fit a lot in it but this bag is not quite as big as I expected when I saw it in real life. if your feet are on the larger side your shoes will take up a lot of space in this bag. It is comfortable to carry and the rubber bottom means it stands upright without any issues. I do think this is a good quality bag but I don’t think the high price is justified.
This review is for the Kitbrix kit bag. The product arrived well packaged and on time. This is a great bag very well and excellent material. Love the different compartments and makes it so easy to store stuff. The fact that you can connect these bag together is amazing and perfect for a triathlon.

Kitbrix because it is like a brick for all your kit! The idea of the Kitbrix system is that you will tie several of these bags together, for example whilst doing a triathlon you would tie three of these together.
On the outside of the bag you find two grey zips these are for attaching additional bags together. On the top of the bag is a shoulder strap, a carry handle, pen loops, and a transparent credit card sized pouch ideal for storing your ID inside. Both of the long sides of the bag contain two mesh pockets, but be aware if you attach another Kitbrix bag to your original bag some of these pockets will become inaccessible! At the end of the bag is a transparent pocket where you can place a kit icon (Running / Swimming / Cycling / Blank) to easily remind you what is in each bag! Inside the bag lid is a transparent waterproof pocket ideal to keep important paperwork such as your transition checklist. The inside is unstructured with a large space to place your items as you desire. There are two zipped pockets on each side to store small accessories. The bottom panel is a piece of hard plastic that holds the bag square and will not deform.
The Kitbrix bags are super waterproof. The bags are double layered and could easily withstand a deluge of water. The zips on the Kitbrix bags are very difficult to use, this is possibly partly to do with the square design of the bag, the ruggedness of the zips, and the fact they are built to be waterproof zips. Attaching two Kitbrix bags together is a bit of a pain and you need to spend sometime aligning the zips exactly to get them to align. When you join several Kitbrix bags together they can be made to become a backpack. Fully loaded with stuff this is not a comfortable backpack at all. And of course price, bear in mind for a triathlon system you will need to spend a good wedge of money for the three bags you need.
Overall despite the zips being awkward to use, and the high cost of the bags, I still absolutely love the Kitbrix bag system. When you have a triathlon coming up having separate bags for the three different disciplines if so easy to organise and it will give a lot less to worry about when preparing. It is a excellent system which for any keen athlete is well worth the expense. Highly recommended.
This is such an amazing bag . It is top quality and looks very sturdy . It has a good size too .
But it is very heavy and because of that is not my taste , especially if I have to carry on while walking
Whilst I don’t do competitive triathlons, I do a lot of sport including riding and swimming. I primarily got the bag for swimming (which I try and do year-round. The size and shape are perfect for all of my gear, and even in iffy weather will keep my kit dry.
As the KitBrix bags zip together I’m seriously thinking about getting another 1 or 2 bags for my weekends away. They are quite expensive but are so well made I would expect them to last for years … despite the abuse they may get.
There are plenty of pockets and dividers in the bag to stash your gear and I was amazed at how much I could pack in.
They come in a range of colours, handy to quickly identify which kit, and also make it very easy to spot on the beach.
This seems like a pretty serious sports bag for more full-on outdoor activities/sports that need a fair amount of gear, such as weekend events etc and it;s impressive just how much you can fit in here with tons of very well thought out compartments and areas including effective placement of designated areas to keep wet and dry contents separate, so great for swimming/surfing/triathlon type events etc. It’s easy to see where everything is/access everything without having to empty everything out and it seems very good quality and very endurable/rugged to last through lots of outdoor use with special attention paid to the base being very solid/sturdy and capable in outdoor use/rough terrain. It’s quite pricey but worth it if you want something that will last and can be used outdoors all year round.

Love this bag. Purchased this one for my husband and I have the blue one. It is durable and very cleanable. Great idea and am so glad it was featured in Bicycling magazine or I wouldn’t have heard of it.
This is a great bag. It’s so waterproof you could probably submerge it!
It’s designed to be used in tandem with one or more others as they zip together. It’s the perfect size for triathlons and if you lay on its side, you have a good amount of space to organize your transition area stuff. The whole bag is excellent quality and they’ve tried to think of everything. From the window where you can display which type of gear is in your bag to the extra pockets and strap. It’s all thought through well.
This would also be a great bag to use as a first aid bag and looks as good quality as some I’ve seen. I think this is fab and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this.
A step up from the big plastic storage box that has been the tri ‘bag’ up until now!
My son is extremely active in a number of sports, distance running, mud runs, cycling, kick boxing and since xmas swimming. He has been looking to combine three of them into a triathlon. This bag is perfect as a start to keep his kit organised.
Ideally for a triathlon you do need 3 separate bags, one for each event. The bags are made to connect with each other making them easy to carry and easy to store in your boot as single bags. There is a place to put an icon so each is easily and quickly recognised.
The bags can be folded down when not in use to some extent but they are quite solid. Although this hadn’t been used yet, due to lockdown, it will be perfect for my son’s multi activities.
Additional bags fit together by zips. The bag also comes with a shoulder carry strap. A brilliant piece of equipment that any sports person will be delighted with.

Very good bag for storing and separating kit for various sport activities. Good quality bag, which is sturdy and well made. Comfortable on the shoulders too. I’d never heard of kitbrix, but I will definitely be keeping an eye out for them in the future. Very good bag.
Super bag, back pack, holdall. Its so versatile. I really like that the side are all straight and square, which means its easy to load with no awkward corners. You really can get loads and loads in it. I also like that it can be carried in the hand over a shoulder or as a backpack. The zips are all strong and work well and the stitching appears robust as well. There are lots of compartments (open and zipped on the outside too. I haven’t done it myself, but I also think its great that if you need too you can attach two bags together so creating one super large back pack. It really is one of the most practical and versatile bags of this type I’ve come across. Without doubt worth every penny.
Nobody can deny these are nice kit bags, however they dont’ justify the price. Also they are not that large. Just about fit a pair of cycling shoes, helment, few bits of kit, and snacks. Won’t take bottles as well though.
If you are in the need for a great system / bag, then these are great. They are pricey and you may find another solution might fit your needs just as good, but for much cheaper. I am thinking of the trunk organizer things that have compartments … anyway, the interior waterproofing is great and the windows on the ends combined with colors will allow you to store specific gear as needed. The 20l size is good, but I do with it had lust a bit more lingth, like maybe a 24 or a 28l size.
All in all, as others have mentioned, the ability carry them and organize them together is awesome and will make your various sports pursuits much easier to organize.
The construction of the bag is robust, but not a tank. So be sure to have some care for the gear. Keep in mind that you wont want to abuse these …

Great bag, use it to transport all cycling gear, tools, lights, clothes, shoes when travelling. Also useful for days out as can change and keep dry and wet clothes seperate. Very durable bag and its a bit of a tardis as to what fits in it and its outside pouches as well. Very happy with this product!
