Was unsure to buy this as no idea of the brand but glad I did , makes life much easier cuts through clean and efficient with no problems, I’ve run out of things to ” prune ” .. down side are slow compared to manual pruners 1sec open 1sec closed, charging was 5 hrs from dead battery which instructions say is 3-5 . Over all happy

Great help, for lots of chopping into dustbin, bit slow for pruning, not issues with longivity of battery … overall,
    Great Purchase

This pruner feels safe and easy to use, but each cut is quite slow, like 1 second to cut and another second to release. No effort required, the trigger is purely a switch for the motor driven blade. I was afraid it would feel cumbersome but in fact it is so well balanced that it is a pleasure to use.

If you need the extender pole, buy it separately to save 10 over the combined price!

This is an amazing product for the price. I now have two plus a spare battery and the tree pole. They simply work (although one arrived “dead” but was replaced in a day or so)

It will cut through a 1 inch branch or even a little bigger, if you plan the cuts carefully. Handling is excellent, even with the pole. I have no problem with recommending this tool.

This was bought to get a charger for an existing unit. I lost the original charger and a replacement was not available.
I really like the pruner, as a 75 year old my hands are not as strong as they were, and power assistance is greatly appreciated.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have arthritis in my hands and these shears are brilliant for cutting through thicker branches. Long lasting battery and sharp blades. I think the only downside is the size of the grip!. My hands are small so a smaller or more ergonomically designed handle would be the icing on the cake.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI purchased this item in March 2021. As my garden is large and I have arthritic hands, I decided I needed
assistance with pruning etc., and purchased these secateurs. I am very pleased how easy they are to use
and I can snip away to my heart’s content. Initially they felt cumbersome and heavy, but I soon got used to it. (I did feel like I was an extra in Star Wars!!) I do have one niggly concern as I noticed today that there are small nicks in one of the blades. (hence not given 5 stars) Does that mean they are going to become blunt
and can they be sharpened? I notice there are no replacement blades on Amazon for this item.

I was surprised at how easily this cut through branches approaching a couple of cm thick which I would normally have tackled with long-handled loppers. Judging from videos of alternatives I have seen, I would say that compared with more expensive and higher voltage pruning shears, the action is a bit slower. That’s fine with me, as some of those fast ones are a bit scary.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI am over 80 and uncertain I should be purchasing cordless shears but I need not have worried. Perfect for old hands. Very easy to use and comfortable to hold. Cuts through the branches a treat and very safe. I do wear strong garden glives as a precaution.
I purchasd this pruner under 3 months ago. You can see from my earlier review that I was very pleased with it. Unfortunately I was using it yesterday and while in the middle of cutting a branch the motor cut out. The pruner was stuck on the branch so I had to loosen the screw that holds the blades to remove it from the branch. Very difficult for an 80 year old lady. The pruner had just been recharged so I knew the motor had failed. I immediately got in touch with Amazon and they have agreed to give me a full refund and have sent me a returns label. Looking at all the positive reviews I think I have just been unlucky. Thank you Amazon for your support.

I used this to clear an overgrown garden of brambles, hawthorn and Ivy. I bought a spare battery, but didn’t need to use it. It’s so easy to use my 80 year old mother was using it, as you do not need strength in your hands to use it.

Can you leave the battery attached to the pruner when charging it? The instructions say to remove the battery for charging but the release buttons at the side of the battery are too stiff to remove the battery. I would have preferred to send this query as a question but no new questions on this product are being accepted on the Amazon website. The pruner is a delight to use in every way. It avoids wrist strain when used for long periods.

These are good quality and electric secateurs and perform well. My first thought were that they feel and look a little cheap but they seem pretty hardy and indescructable. The action is quite slow so it can be a little cumbersome getting through a lot of snipping. However it saves you the strain and blisters of using manual shears. The dual buttons are a good safety feature but I feel like I am going to break them as the temptation is to squeeze both buttons together. The rear button needs to be squeezed first but when you squeeze both, there is a clash of plastic which feels like the mechanism could break with repeated use. Ideally you can train yourself to keep the back button depressed and jsut use your forefinger to operate the device.

The tool is powerful and can easily cut 1 inch of branches. Sometimes the motor is strained but it gets through it and sometimes it konks out but recovers well with readjustment. Battery life is good too from a small battery in the handle.

So far mine is becomeing well soiled from use and starting to look well used so I will see how it goes on.

One downside is that this product is also sold with a pole. But if you have just bought the pruner you can’t by a pole separately. Great pruner for those thicker twigs

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAfter seeing a variety of other versions, opted for this Ligo one which actually performs better than expected!
The clear guard is functional, albeit a little tricky to put on (bit of a knack & ok once you get used to it). The cycle time for cutting is fine when you’re cutting thick branches, but a bit slow if snipping off small shoots. So while pruning 4 apple trees, I found it quicker and simpler to hold my trusty Felco secateurs in my right hand and quickly snip off thin shoots with those, while using the ligo in my left hand for cutting off the thicker ones up to an inch thick. (more than that it’s back to two-handed loppers!). Where I found the Ligo particularly good was for hard to reach chops at full stretch, where using two-handed loppers would have been more difficult among a cluster of branches. Battery lasted a morning’s pruning, so no worries there. So, overall, well pleased with the purchase.

I was initially concerned this may be too heavy but it’s very easy to use. The battery life is great and has had no problem cutting through 70-80 2cm branches on a single charge. I’m delighted with this item.
