Having had lower back pain for many months, despite Pilates every day and strength training, I was running out of ideas how to heal it (and so was my GP). I read somewhere that a pillow between the knees helps, but I was doing that for ages already with no affect, as my knees would just slide down or, worse would hurt from lying at a weird angle for hours, ankles lower.
Then I stumbled over this one and figured it couldn’t hurt to try.
It is amazing! The fabric is super silky (important for us curly girls, as it won’t damage your hair if you have your head on it.):
I just took the shorter side off and turned the whole thing basically on it’s head, as I have arthritis in my knees and need a pillow under them when lying on my back watching TV.
When falling asleep, I just hug the whole thing, the “head part” supports my ankles, so the knees don’t hurt, arms under/over while lying on the side and my spine stays perfectly straight all night.

I’m sleeping much better since I have this and my back has started to improve finally.

Quality is lovely too. I washed the case (bit fumbly to get it back in, but practice I guess) in the machine with my other sheets and, taking the risk, even put it in the dryer after. It came out perfect.

Due to the silky fabric, it takes a bit to get used to not sliding off it. But I guess if I can do it in my sleep after a few tries, it’s doable.

This was recommended by someone who had used it following spinal surgery. We’re using it for the same reason. Can’t highlight enough how useful this is for comfort, support and enabling sleep . Thank you .

Bought this pillow to help me not sleep on my back, but take some of the pressure off my hip and shoulder. Seems to be doing a good job of this. Feel like I’ve been sleeping better. Was particularly good using it on the couch as well. Not waking up with a cricked neck. Thanks.

I read the reviews regarding the pillow not inflating once opened with them being vacuumed packed but as soon as I pierced the outer plastic it inflated immediately to a lovely fluffy pillow. Really pleased with this buy as it was bought for a female after having surgery and was a fantastic support in the bed to help relieve the awful discomfort on the abdome

This pillow has caused some bad neck problems for me (I didn’t have any prior to using). I’m in pain each morning after using. I’m 22 weeks pregnant and had to switch back to a regular pillow.

Helps me to sleep easier on my side and not wake up on my back with hands tingling. I like that there’s a space in between the top and bottom of the front so my belly doesn’t feel claustrophobic. It’s cooling which I love since being pregnant this time (number 6!) other pillows were too hot.

Definitely supportive pillow, the U shape prevented me from rolling on my back during sleep which was very useful. I found the top part a bit rigid so used to put another softer pillow on top. I also used it as a support few times to lie on my belly during last few weeks of my pregnancy which is my fav position usually. And now that our LO has moved to the cot bed this pillow is used as a cot bumper and creates nice soft surrounding for him to tuck face in that he loves so much!
So in summary a multifunctional and useful pillow

    Multifunctional pillow

I am so glad I bought this pillow to use as I progressed in pregnancy. It’s fantastic quality and gives the perfect support. I can take the covers off the pillow and wash them. Very soft and I definitely get a good night sleep with it! My husband even snuggles with it from his side of the bed hahahah!

I love my body pillow. It is not only for pregnant women. I was having a hard time sleeping. Woke up tired & my whole body hurt. With this pillow, I wake up with no pain, I get enough support, sleeping very comfortable. I highly recommend this to all my family & friends and also to those who are having trouble sleeping.

I was really struggling to sleep on my side during pregnancy as I would usually sleep on my back or side. I found it was very uncomfortable sleeping on my side all night and was getting aching pains in my hips. After weeks of uncomfortable sleeping this pillow instantly solved that problem and I have slept brilliantly every night since using this pillow. It does take up quite some space in the bed but I couldn’t recommend more, worth every penny!

I bought this pillow when I was around 15 weeks pregnant and it’s been a life saver. I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant and I still get a great night sleep every night thanks to this amazing product! It’s so comfy and supports all the rights parts and I love the grey colour as it matches our room. The cover comes off really easily, making it easy to wash and in turn goes back on without a struggle. It hasn’t lost it’s shape or fullness. I would definitely recommend.

Took a little while to get it in the best position, which can be frustrating & exhausting when pregnant, but it was worth it, eventually I turned it up side down and now have the head support at the bottom of the bed, as I just couldn’t sleep with my arm over or under the pillow. Having it that way round actually gives more leg support as it’s the length of the bed now, so have ankle support too. Very glad I got one early in my pregnancy as it has made such a difference to getting a decent nights sleep, esspicaly as my bump grows.
I looked at different options before choosing this one & it is definitely money well spent.

This arrived quickly and well packaged. I left it for 48 hours to puff up after its folding and it puffed up perfectly. I am really impressed with the quality of the pillow and the cover. Mine is the grey cover with stars. It has a detachable section in order for you to move it into a different position, whether under your neck, back or knees. I use it for leg exercises and put the extra under my knees. After lying on it over night, it always comes back to its original size for the next night. You can use it as a big wrap around sit up cushion. There is a info card showing what you can use it for. Love it and have bought a spare cover for it. I have recommended this to other friends and family members who just use their pillows for leg, hip and back support.

Good thickness, soft, great length and very comfortable. Worth every penny, 100% recommended.

I was hoping it might have more fluff in it but it’s pretty limp. I have big hips so I was hoping it’s have more support when I sleep on my side and put my leg over but it doesn’t and ends up hurting my hips more. It’s nice to hug though!

Love the pillow, has helped with my sciatica. The side with the detachable pillow is a pain as the zip always comes undone and think it would be better if both sides were the same as it’s annoying having to flip it round when I’m wanting to switch sides when sleeping. Still love it though

I suffer from shoulder pain and have gone through numerous pillows over the last year or so. Decided to give this pillow a try even though it was quite expensive.

The quality is outstanding. I am not exaggerating when I say that I slept like a baby and had suffered from no pain at all. The pillow is quite malleable so I could get really comfortable.

Worth every penny and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a second one.

I cannot stress how much this is a must have. I have sent it to all my expectant friends. It has been the one thing that’s allowed me to (vaguely) sleep in my pregnancy. It’s very sturdy, yet soft and really wedges you into a happy cocoon. The little indent for your arm is also great. It’s also easy to wash! The pillow case comes off easily and you just pop it in the washing machine. So pleased.

I’m in love! I’ve not had this very long but it’s already improved my comfort while sleeping. I’m nearly 29 weeks pregnant and my last support pillow wasn’t giving me enough support anymore. This pillow is firm yet soft enough to be easily repositioned when a change of sleeping position is needed. I love the detachable pillow. I keep it attached and move as required wether sitting in bed reading or for back support when sleeping. I’m 5ft2 and find this the perfect length for me but depending on your needs if you’re taller you may find it a bit on the short side. However no regrets here, money well spent.

    Money well spent.

I’m 12wks pregnant and haven’t been having the best sleep so my husband found and bought this. I am never letting it go – it’s fab! Was delivered 2 days after ordering and I had the BEST nights sleep last night using it. No more aches or turning constantly to get comfy. I read some reviews which said there wasn’t enough stuffing – this is not the case with mine. The instructions said to squish the pillow all over to adjust the filling and this would make sure the pillow puffed up – which it did. The outer cover is very soft and removable for when it needs washing which is also great. I was slightly dubious before buying as it’s not a cheap item but it’s definitely worth every penny!

I’m a back sleeper, and as we all know, you can’t sleep on your back when pregnant 🙁 this really supports me when sleeping on my side and when I slightly roll onto my back. It prevents me laying flat on my back as the U shape cushion stops you rolling. Also great support for my SPD as I can put the cushion between my knees. I was worried it had to replace one of my pillows, however it’s sooo comfortable!!! Can’t see me ever not using it 🙂

I was a bit sceptical of pregnancy pillows… but it turns out they are actually really useful, this one had helped me stop sleeping on my back whilst staying comfortable. It takes up less space in bed than my previous regular pillow configuration – meaning my husband still gets half our king size bed.
My friend had the same one in a double and it takes up just over half.
The cover is removable for washing which is useful. The gap for your arm is also a useful feature.
    Would recommend.

It improved my sleep at first but its not that supportive as I dislike the detachable pillow but I kind of wish it was more of a full U pillow and could be abit more firm as its easily deflates and doesn’t really keep me from rolling on my back which is common for me.. quite big but not as big as I thought as I am 5ft 2 and was hoping for a huge firm pillow. Overall its okay but could be better.

This pillow has been a lifesaver during pregnancy and has really helped me get in a comfortable position to sleep. It has aided my sleep position and stopped me rolling onto my back. The no-pillow/detachable section is a really good feature so your arm can rest in front of you without it having to go over or under the pillow. I would highly recommend…worth the money!

This is amazing. I’d been recommended this by a friend (she is on her second pregnancy and this is my first) I started using it about 4 months and thought I wouldn’t see the benefit of it but its so comfy and having something to support my legs and bump is amazing. It also stops me rolling onto my back in the night which is really good. Very easy to remove the cover to wash too.

I had looked at this pillow in my previous pregnancy but decided to go for a cheaper one. This time round I wasn’t making the same mistake. This pillow is worth every penny! I have been suffering with pelvic girdle pain and this has helped support me to get comfortable and sleep. I love that the covers are removable and machine washable also. I sleep in the same position every night and there is no indentation in my pillow at all unlike my previous one. I think the pillow will serve well for nursing too when baby is here. The detachable one side is useful for those worried about the pillow taking up too much room.

Great pillow for pregnancy, started using from 12 weeks and now 22 weeks and I am very glad I purchased this one, it’s easy to wash and put back together, and it has a removable part which is great as the side can be used separately. For the price I recommend it, it’s less exspensive than some other pregnancy pillows but still very good quality!

Recently got this due to ongoing hip pain (not pregnant) it’s transformed my sleep now. The cushions are firm enough to give decent support to keep your legs separated but soft enough that it’s comfortable to sleep. Head support area is really comfortable too, I was worried about that as I’m picky about head cushions, but it’s really comfortable and supportive.
Could never go back to sleeping without this now, feel supported on all sides and lets me get a decent sleep

I am 21 weeks pregnant and although this pillow would probably suit anyone to aid better sleep i wanted to review how amazing I found it. From about 15 weeks plus my neck and back were agony no matter how I lay. I was debating whether to buy cheaper versions as I felt the price was alot for a pillow but I dont regret buying this. Instantly my back pain and neck pain eased and I had the best nights sleep in a long time. The cushion cover is easy to clean and arrange how you like and doesnt take up much room in the bed.

I fully recommend it and wouldnt be without it. I dont know how I got through my first pregnancy without one.

Arrived in less than 24 hours of placing the order. Well packaged, when removed from shrink wrap it immediately became very full (no need to wait 48hours) doesnt smell chemically at all like I’d read in some reviews. Perfectly stuffed throughout… and the comfort/support it gives already is amazing! Havent slept using it yet but I cant wait! Looks big on a double bed but not an issue with the two of us and the pillow, also I’m 5 ft 6 and length wise this is perfect. 5* purchase!!

I have already got 2 children and am in my first trimester of my 3rd.
I bought this pillow “early” because my husband had damaged a ligament in his shoulder and I thought great we will get multiple uses out of it.

It is a lovely pillow, great quality and very comfortable, the children love it too and set it up i their reading corner when we are not using it.

I will definitely use it for sleeping as the weeks/months go on.

It is a bonus that is is washable and you can remove one of the sides, seems like it will make an ideal feeding pillow both for in bed and on the sofa!

    Well worth the money!

    Well, I’m not pregnant!
But sometimes I feel strong pain in my back as I work in front the computer for long hours.
When at bed, I was not able to find a comfortable position that could help me to relieve the pain in my back and was struggling to sleep with the pillow I had.
After a conversation about my struggle with my heavily pregnant friend, I decided rely on her review and give a try to this product.
And wow!!!! I’m so glad to have bought it!
Also, my sisters bought the product and regret not having heard about it during their pregnancy. According to them, it would be a game changer.
The quality of the product is really good and it arrived super fast in my home.

I bought this because I have herniated discs in my back and wanted a bit more support.

It’s ok, it’s functional, and the best bit is how you can unzip it and use the two parts separately.

But really, it still seems cheap and not that great quality. Don’t know how long it will provide support.

If I were you I’d keep shopping around for maybe a memory foam one.

I think the pillow has helped me to stop rolling onto my back, where I often end up otherwise. It is comfortable, but I think will also become more comfortable as my bump grows and can rest on it more fully – I’m 16 weeks now. It’s not as comfortable as my normal pillow under the head, but i sleep with two pillows anyway, so I put my normal pillow on top. It’s quite large, but fits into our king bed with me and my husband.

Quick delivery, and I followed the instructions so left to plump up for 48 hours before using.
It is quite large, but my hubby has enough space in our double bed. I have slept much better, and it stops me from sleeping on my back. The only draw back is the zip section, where I can detach the additional pillow. When sleeping it digs into my boobs! And they are sooo sore already.

  47. SaraNealey says:

Good product for use during pregnancy.
Zip off side is both a benefit and occasional hinderance, as the zip off side doesn’t give quite as much support as the sturdier side. However, it is good to have the smaller portion in between you and a partner as it takes up less space and is less invasive, while still giving some support.
Cover zips on and off easily for washing, pillow hasn’t flattened much despite being used every day for the last 4 months!

The pillow was well made, but unfortunately did not work for my sister. She has fibromyalgia which causes her a lot of pain, especially at night. We hoped this pillow might help but it made her pain worse. I know from reviews that it has helped many, but with fibromyalgia everybody experiences it differently. I would have used it myself but the cover is polyester and I’m allergic to it.

It might be a bit too early to tell whether this pillow makes a difference to my sleep quality and is therefore woth the spend, but I definitely feel very comfortable when waking up. I feel that this pillow might be too high up for my head, though I am hoping that it will flatten out once I’ve used it enough. I love that I’m able to rest my legs on it, though as a result it’s making the bed look untidy due to it’s large size.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this when I was 12 weeks pregnant, so I can start getting used to sleeping on my sides as opposed to tummy/back. I’m now 25 weeks pregnant and can’t imagine sleeping without it. I don’t know what I’ll do after delivery because this is the most comfortable pillow ever. I might have to keep using it, because it’s that good! I’ve had perfect sleep ever since I started using it, and I got used to sleeping on my sides very quickly. Sometimes I end up on my back, but I quickly switch to my sides. I like sleeping with my arm under the pillow as it’s more comfortable that way. The cover is easily detachable and machine washable. Very easy to put back on afterwards. Honestly, if you’re thinking about buying this for pregnancy or other medical reasons, don’t hesitate! It will make your life so much easier.

In my second trimester and finding sleeping and sitting uncomfortable a lot of the time. This pillow has helped greatly as it can bend and fold to suit however I need to make me comfortable.
Soft cover and full enough to be supportive without being too hard and uncomfortable.
Have to say I am very happy with this product!

Great pillow. Currently using just the small bit as I’m typically a front sleeper and only just in the 2nd trimester. This will be great when I’m more pregnant, to stop me rolling into my back. Very firm and not losing its shape at all. Will keep using in different ways as I progress.

I purchased this pillow at roughly 20 weeks pregnant. The pillow has supported my ever growing stomach; also helps with my access weight and additionally helps ease pressure on my joints. The pillow lies between my knees, slightly under my tummy and my head rest on top. This position helps me get to sleep very quickly. Really happy with the purchase. I really am comfortable every night and look forward to my sleep. Well worth the money.

For all pregnant women, this is a must. I am a man and I agree you would ask who do I know.

My wife bought this through my account. She was not able to sleep until she bought this. I was not able to sleep either.

Since we bough this, the level of support it offers is exceptional and both of us have been able to sleep sound and sweetly.

There other factors that helped us, a firm mattress helped too, but that alone was snot enough. With this we were able to sleep.

This pillow is large enough which is a reason I bought it. It does take reasonable amount of space despite its large size. It’s useful to have the other part detachable and I used it both with and without it. It took me sometime to figure out what a comfortable position with this pillow is but that comes with time. I used it before and during pregnancy and would still continue if the head support was better – it’s just not as comfortable as a regular pillow. I’d say that after 12 months use the quality is much lower as it was when brand new but I guess that’s expected from a pillow.

I bought this after doing a lot of research to make sure the fabric/quality/shape fitted me well. I’m 5ft1 and it fits well with my height.
I’ve not slept as well as I have since before I was pregnant, that being said I do wish the fabric was somehow made to stay cooler, with the body temperature being higher than usual in pregnancy, I feel like it would have helped. Maybe there should be an option of what fabric cover you want? So it can be used for both pregnant and non pregnant people. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for extra support. Before using this I was putting and extra pillow in between my legs, this is far better.

Needless to say I’m really pleased with this purchase, my husband calls it “the wall” 🙂

I bought this product for my pregnant girlfriend. She has a tendency of sleeping on her back and as this is not recommended for the pregnant women, we have been looking for suitable option to reduce her sleeping on her back. This body pillow is absolutely amazing. It is very soft and comfortable. Not too heavy to carry around but has enough support during the night.
She especially likes that there is a support from both sides and there is an option of removing one side if you prefer. I would definitely recommend this product.

  61. Amanda Garrity says:

Really like how big this pillow is as it provides support all over. I use the the small pillow one side and bigger bit other side in bed so that when i roll over i don’t have to take the pillow with me. It’s also a great support for sitting, supports back, and big enough to put other parts under your legs.
The major downside for me is that you can only wash the cover on 30 degrees which means it doesn’t get rid of germs to use with my newborn, the amount of spillages etc it needs to be able to be washed on 40.
Also the zip has broken on the larger pillow and I’ve only had it a couple of months.

Look no further really!! This is an incredible pillow. It supports both your bump and your back as well as giving your back some relief too. The pillow is very versatile as you can unzip part of the pillow and use it on its own and you can also sit up and read using it. I’m hoping that this feature will work well when breastfeeding. The cover is very soft and it’s washable which is handy. I sleep really well with the pillow and I’m sure you will too. Highly recommend it, even though it is one of the more expensive pillows on the market.

I ordered this product when I started getting terrible joint pain around 12 weeks of pregnancy. I have hypermobility so was almost guarenteed to get pain at some point. The pillow is incredibly comfortable and supportive, even when just relaxing in bed before going to sleep. My joint pain has reduced after only a few nights of using it! I’m not sleeping quite as well as before I started using that but it could be that I just need a little longer to get used to sleeping on my side (I’ve always been a stomach or back sleeper). I will definitely continue to use it and recommend it to anyone.

I have osteoarthritis and use this as a support in and on my bed. Very comfortable especially when sitting up with main cushion behind me as gives lots of support and doesn’t slip like regular pillows. Was purchased mainly to support one of my legs at night with the removable cushion, but maybe a little too high to work completely well. Good purchase though.

Got this at 23 weeks pregnant (currently 25) and wish I’d bought it sooner. After waking up with pelvic pain and constantly waking up on my back, this has helped to make my nights sleep a lot more comfortable (just need to kick my husband out the bed now!) It took a bit of getting used to, and it can be very warm sometimes all wrapped up, but I honestly couldn’t sleep without it now!

I am towards the end of my second trimester. I bought this nearly a month ago as was struggling with sleep. It has helped though not immensely. The back does feel supported. The bump support is detachable which is good so you can position it as you like but I think had it been a little longer would be better. On the whole I guess it has helped improve sleep.

Having slept with this pillow for a few months now I can safely say it has made a huge difference to my sleep quality. I have less back pain and it helps keep me from rolling on my back, it is very comfortable to hug and sleep in and doesn’t take up too much room, having tried several different pillow styles before this I am pleased I made this purchase. The zip can sometimes dig in but not always the flat space for the arm is great and provided me with support in the right places.

Golden Review Award: 120 From Our UsersThis pillow is the best pillow. I have tried many pillows, including my husband. While he is very handsome, I regret to say he is an inferior pillow.

This is how I have slept my whole life, on my side while cuddling plush toys or another pillow or yes my husband. None are as comfortable as this pillow, which I can cuddle with my whole body including my stubby legs, all the while very comfortably supporting my head. Unbeknownst to me I have been searching for such a pillow for all my life. This pillow is my OTP, my one true pillow.

I love the easily detachable arm which I can also use to prop me up while reading. I also use it as padding space to ensure there is space by my head for my cat who also loves this pillow and will sleep on the detachable arm. If there was not enough space for my fat cat by my head, undoubtedly he would try to share my pillow and sleep on my face and I would be unable to breathe in my sleep. Dear reader, this pillow is not only helping me sleep but you could even go so far as to say it is saving my life.

Please note I am not, to the best of my knowledge, pregnant.

Good pillow, best pillowcase for a pregnancy pillow I have ever seen – well made and doesn’t rip (at least so far). The pillow is comfortable, offers a lot of support and so far the quality is very good.

I have not used this for pregnancy. I have lupus and joint hypermobility and therfore suffer from a great deal of joint pain that can make sleeping and generally getting comfortable almost impossible. I cannot recommend this body pillow enough. Since buying i’ve had a better quality of sleep, have been more comfortable and have been able to sleep in positions that before would not have been possible. It is a great size (i’m almost 5ft10in) It has a detachable arm (which the other half has swiped to use as a pillow as its so comfy) and you can make It into pretty much any position you need to for support. Also It doesen’t flatten, It stays plump and so maintains your comfort all night. I wouldn’t be without It now and only wish i’d found It sooner.

Ok, I bought this pillow for my wife, not for pregnancy reasons as she is not pregnant. My wife usually sleeps with a normal pillow between her legs for comfort. It arrived on due date and was well packed. It was also vacume packed.
Once re leased fom the vacume pack it should be left for 48 hours to take its shape and regain it’s softness. Her views on the pillow is, very comfortable, great night sleep, soft and nice on the skin. Should have bought this year’s ago.

Product is very supportive and soft at the same time. The removable arm is very good to have as it has a dip for your arm to slot into and supports your knees, allowing a comfortable sleeping position. It’s also great that the cover is washsble. Time will tell if the cushion maintains its firmness. I would recommend a king size and above due to how much space it takes up. Partner loves it.

What an amazing pillow! This pillow is soft to hug and yet gives me enough support for my growing bump. What I really like about this pillow is that it supports the bump and the back at the same time. I had another body pillow before this one but this one is way better. I had recommended this to a friend of mine who is pregnant and she is really happy with it too. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a pregnancy pillow and also anyone who’s looking for a body pillow.

Bought this for my pregnant wife who had trouble sleeping at night, she was unable to find a good position and figured we’ll give this a try!

Box arrived, well packaged and she immediately found it comfortable and versatile especially since you can unzip part of the pillow. She’s had great nights of sleep so far with it as it keeps her body in position and supports her during the night

Highly highly recommended to any pregnant wome

The pillow is a great price considering the amount of comfort it provides to my partner. She suffered from severe nausea the whole of the 1st trimester and this pillow helped her tremendously to get as comfortable as possible. It provides support to the front and back of her body. Great that you can take the cover off to clean.
I imagine it will only provide more comfort further into the pregnancy as the baby gets bigger. Would definitely reccomend

My husband bought this for me for christmas. I’m only 16 weeks pregnant at the moment so not too big, but have been really struggling with my sleep.

Until… I got this pillow! I am absolutely obsessed with this and use it in bed for comfort and support and whilst I’m on the sofa! It holds its shape extremely well, and supports me exactly where I need it. My husband finds it so comfortable I’m sure he wants one too!

Highly recommend for any pregnant woman!

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersIf I could give this 6 stars I would!
I have never had trouble sleeping before I was pregnant, but when I got to 16 weeks I couldn’t stop tossing and turning in the night. I started only being able to sleep in stretches of 2-3 hours, being awake for long periods in between, which made me really tired for work. Since I got the pillow, I’ve managed to sleep straight through for 9 hours which is a huge game changer! I have recently started getting back pain in the day, but this disappears when I lay in the pillow. My husband says he’s going to keep using it after the baby is here as he likes the support it gives his back in the bed!

Have used this for a month now. This does provides the support you need between your legs, behind your back and under your baby bump when sleeping on your side. It has helped fractionally with my hip pain in the mornings when getting up. However during the night I do get hip pain from sleeping on one side so that I have to change sides to manage it. Maybe just a downside of pregnancy. Good thing is, the way the pillow is designed, you don’t have to rearrange it when changing sides. It has helped with getting better sleep but not completely for me but then I’ve always been a light sleeper. Looking forward to using it for nursing, the versatility is definitely a plus! My Hubby looks at it with envy!

This amazing full body pillow has given me the most comfort my body has felt since suffering from severe sciatica pain. I ordered one for myself at first hoping it would help when sitting, laying and sleeping at night because that’s when my pain would be the worst and told myself if it didn’t help with the pain I’d just make use of it when necessary. I was so happy and satisfied with the price I paid because instantly I felt the most comfort I’ve felt in a long time and it also eased my pain when using it because of the full support it gives your back/sides. I recently ordered another one for my mum who suffers from chronic nerve pain and she absolutely loves it and uses it to sleep with at night! So great for medical use!! Don’t hesitate it’s worth every penny!!!!

I have bought this pillow for my wife and this is what she said:
“I wanted to share this as Im truly impressed by the utility of this pillow! My husband bought it for me as I was complaining too much of waking up at night due to discomfort while pregnant. My problem is that I just love sleeping on my back and no matter what I do I always wake up in this position. It wasn’t a problem at first, but as I progressed through my pregnancy, I realised that it has a massive impact on my sleep! I would wake up 4-6 times per night with discomfort and slight back pain… I knew it has to stop. That’s when I started using Pharmedoc U-shaped pillow and suddenly I stopped waking up at night so often. The pillow provides great support for my back and it prevents me from rolling in bed so I wake up in the same position. The pillow has a detachable element that you can place in between your legs or completely remove, which is great if you want to have a bit more freedom of movement at night. I would highly recommend this product to every mum to be suffering from lower back pain and frequent waking up at night”

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersYou can’t put a price on pain relief or added comfort; and this simple ‘pillow’ has more than paid for itself in a matter of days.

For my partners purpose it is just about right; both in size & comfort; the fact that you can ‘adjust’ the filling is an added area of flexibility but we’ve not needed to do this.

Used in a 5ft bed it’s not overwhelming or obtrusive and the design (especially where the left arm area has been left void) is well thought out.

Bedding, pillows etc. is an area we all must need to give more thought to & invest in ourselves, after all we spend much of our lives sleeping so why not make it that little bit more comfortable?!

This product for the little it costs therefore represents fantastic value for your wellbeing!

I bought this as I’m in week 27 of pregnancy and I like to sleep on my back, and I want to buy something that encourages me to sleep on my side. I’ve used pillows but whenever I turn over they fall to the floor.
This product is supportive, but not too firm or soft. It doesn’t totally prevent me from laying on my back, but my body really likes to sleep on the back!
If you turn a lot in your sleep and if you sleep on a double bed like me with a significant other, one side will start to dangle off the side of the bed, but as they are all attached it’s easy to move back into the bed.
It does not help with my pelvic pain (side sleeping is hell on my pelvis), but this is not the fault of pillow, but rather pregnancy. That being said I like the almost cocoon feature of the pillow.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is the first pregnancy pillow I have ever used, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I did a lot of research before buying.

The pillow comes in a very small box, which is great for delivery. You then need to leave it for 48 hours to puff up to full size. Perhaps this is why some reviewers thought it was a bit flat? It was hard to wait the 48 hours as by this point I was desperate for a better night’s sleep but I think it was worth it.

I find the pillow really comfortable. I like the soft jersey fabric and the volume/consistency of the pillow. I like that it is one piece, before when I went to the toilet in the night I would then have to rearrange five pillows before I could get back into bed. I find that I am less likely to roll onto my back in my sleep. I like that I feel supported from all sides.

I was concerned beforehand that it was so big my partner would be pushed out of the bed but that is not the case.

The only thing I’m not so sure about it the detachable arm. I think it will give the pillow more versatility in the long run perhaps but I think I would prefer it if both sides of the pillow were the same. (Sometimes I still have to swap sides because my hip has gone numb)

Overall I am really happy with my purchase, I think it’s really good value and I suspect I will use it long after my pregnancy ends!

Great pillow for pregnancy. Took me a second to get used to it but now I think I’ve found the best way to sleep on it. Could use a bit more firmness in the part designed for your head but overall it’s a great product to reduce strain and get some sleep. Adjusting to my body during pregnancy has taken some time but this definitely helps! Also I would throw the cover in the wash quickly before using. It was a little itchy at first but I have very sensitive skin. Once I washed it it’s been totally soft and no problems whatsoever. Recommended!

It does the job for me! So I am happy but my assumption is that it depends on the size of a person in many ways. So someone could find it not working properly.

I am further writing it after a week only, so I can’t say much about durability of this product.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy 8 months pregnant daughter is suffering from heartburn and finding it difficult to get a comfortable position to sleep in (she sleeps on her side). She is also finding her growing bump uncomfortable to support. The pillow is quite substantial and has several parts to it which should help even the trickiest sleeper to nod off. It has a washable cover and you can get spares for it. I haven’t rated it for pain relief as she is not in any but can imagine this could help ease pain relief…overalll highly recommended to pregannt women or poor sleepers!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this for my wife who had a much smaller one last time, she was unsure at first as it’s huge and takes up a lot of the bed, however, after trying it for one night she now can’t live without it! Provides great support for her to be able to lie on her left, and her sleep- which has been bad in the past- has improved dramatically. Less pain in her back and a real comfort when she has felt sick- overall a very happy wife = quiet life for me!

Pillow is thinner than it looks on the pictures. Ample for a slim, 5 foot tall but can feel a little on the small side if you are 5 foot 8 and semi heavy built.

Feels well made and clean and like it will last. Fluffs up properly after 2 days but still doesn’t seem that big or fluffy. Perhaps it’s meant to be that way.
