I was a little surprised at how small these blocks are, that said they do a good job and stay frozen, although I don’t think they’ll hold for 12 hours, we used ours for around 9 hours they remained fairly solid.

So as usual a quick search on Amazon. I bought these as the heat wave was inbound. The cool packs I had just didn’t keep my cool box cool enough to stop the milk deliveries spoiling.
First use and they have performed as described. Even better than expected. I got up late and 9 hours after the milk delivery – it was still chilled nicely and the blocks cold. Can’t really ask for more than that.

A must have for headaches
I bought these to help with Migraines as I have suffered them for a while. Quality of them is good and they do hold the cold temp for a fair amount of time.
Good quality ice packs
I’ve used these ice packs throughout summer in my insulated lunch box and find them to be perfect for my needs. I work on the road, so I don’t have access to a fridge during a day, but these ice packs have worked great for keeping my lunch cool.
They are good quality, keep cool for a long time are really well priced for a pack of 6. They are not as large as others I have used in the past and are quite thin, but this doesn’t seem to have affected their performance.
Overall, I’ve been really impressed with these ice packs and had no issues at all.

These ice blocks work as intended and I have not experienced any leaks or damage. On arrival they were well packaged and so I personally have no issues with recommending these to others.

This ice blocks came in handy for me when i had premade shakes in carton box. and the shakes were perfect in summer when you have it chilled i purchased these as i was going on a trip and it kept my shakes nice and cold for more than 12 hours i was really please with it. i ended up using this again when i had to pack food for a family member who was hospitalised again i utilise this. the product is sturdy and has a slow melting point. its already pre filled so u just need to pop it in the freezer. i still have mines in freezer for a day i may need in case

So far these seem to be very good quality. There are 6 separate blocks in the order and all of them conform to each other. The ones I used froze well and didn’t leak. They didn’t stay frozen for 12 hours but were still cold after 7 hours in a cooler bag in 30 degrees sunshine.

This are excellent ice blocks. They are a nice compact size and quite slim so they fit a variety of sizes of lunch boxes and cool bags. I have struggled with getting ice blocks to fit in smaller bags before as they are too long, but these ones are a very good size.
Despite being slim they are very effective. A week ago I went on a day out where I took a picnic in a cool bag. I packed the picnic at 9am and put the ice blocks in the cool bag. The bag was put in the boot of the car. The day was very hot, about 28. We had our picnic at about 2pm as we were stuck in traffic. The ice blocks were still completely frozen. About 7pm we stopped at a shop to buy some bottles of fizzy drinks to take home. I decided to put them in the cool bag to keep them cooler. The ice blocks were still very cold and mostly frozen solid. At 10pm I arrived home and took out the drinks bottles. They were still very cold and only just starting to defrost. They had been in a cool bag in the boot of the car, on a very hot day for over 12 hours and were still cold and frozen.
The next morning I went to put the ice blocks away and they still felt chilled, although not frozen, this was 24 hours later and they had been left in a warm kitchen overnight.
I am very impressed with these ice blocks. They stay cold for a very long time, even on a hot day.

This is a really good set of 6 ice blocks.
They are easy to use like any other ice blocks.
After few hours in the freezer they tend to last and keep the food and drinks cool for long time.
It is good to keep the ice blocks flat when you leave them in the freezer as this will spread the gel inside evenly before freezing and it is less likely to get air bubbles trapped in the gel.
The less bubbles you have,the longer the ice blocks will stay cold and it is less likely to get the ice blocks to balloon out and ruin their flat shape while they are in the freezer.
The price of 9.99 is really good for a 6 pack of good quality ice blocks.

Long lasting cooling
This Schone 6 pack of ice blocks are excellent for freezing to take out with you to keep food and drinks cold enough as if they were in the fridge.
The ice blocks are fused with flex molecules that contract and expand at -18 degree to +40 degrees. They are fixed with a heat-sealed cap to prevent leakages and are nice and compact being 15.1 x 8.1 x 2cm, they can easily fit into cool bags, lunch bags, and cool boxes.
I regularly go out camping with friends and find that my food and drink supplies tend to go off quickly especially with it being summer. These ice blocks have really helped solve this issue for me as they keep everything chilled for over 12 hours in my cool box that I take with me.
Overall, these are good value for money and work well.
Perfect for lunchboxes
At 8.99 for 6 these represent good value for money.
They’re perfect size for a lunchbox without being too obtrusive. It will depend where you are using them at but in my sons lunchbox they keep cold for around 6-7 hours. In a cool box they will last longer and claim to last longer than 12 hours which is impressive.
No leaks, no soggy sandwiches.

What more can I say, but they do what they say in the description!
Spent the day cycling, so no coolbox or any insulated container. Packed our picnic inside a carrier bag then into a dry bag by 9.00am, then put in my pannier with 6 cooling slabs. While out opened the food package several times and also the pannier several times in addition, so there was some heat ingress into and around the food package as well as the warm air movement around bike ( Most of the day was 20 – 22 degrees C.). I expected the cool slabs to stay cool a couple of hours at the most, in these real life conditions.
Was really impressed the last of the food was still fridge cold when I got home at 7.30pm, plenty cold enough not to worry about putting the unused food back in the fridge rather than throwing it away. I could have perhaps got away with using less slabs and got a lighter load to pedal about, but it was my first go at using chill packs and I did not fancy food poisoning!
Surprisingly when I picked up the slabs to refreeze, they were still so cold it was uncomfortable to hold them for long in my hand. I have not used any chill packs before, so maybe they all last this long, but I was impressed,
Given the length of chill time, I would imagine they might be good wrapped in a towel or blanket for my pets to lie/near on if we have another heat wave. I have just ordered another set so I can try this out. It would be too cold for a pet without some kind of wrapping and too hard a surface. I hope this works out as my cat retreated to the bathroom sink, the china was the coldest surface he could find earlier this year.
If you want a particular size, check the specifications. When i was trying to decide what brand to get, I realised sizes varied a lot from the image in the photos. These were a bit smaller than they looked in the photos and quite slim but that was a good thing for me.

These do what they claim to do. I’m not sure that there is much more to say other than to recommend these.
Check the measurements these are small ice blocks
i never knew ice packs came in different sizes so was a bit shocked to see the size of these but the measurements are clealry stated in the product decription.
It states they can stay cold up to 12+ this would be under optimum conditions which would be very hard to re create .
I put 1 of these in my lunch box and at the end of 8 hours it had totally defrosted.
Great value for money, i need knock of 1 star for the advert stating 12+ hours in bold when it should say something about optimum conditions otherwise people will think there foor is going to be kept cold for 12 + hours then find the ice block had melted after 8 hours and their food saturated in water.

A good set of six ice blocks, slim enough to fit in lunchboxes without taking up too much space.
They stay frozen for a good amount of time, difficult to say exactly because it depends on conditions, but I found that two in a 12″x8″x4″ cooler bag kept food and a canned drink nicely cold from 7am to 1pm, despite spending most of the time in a car.
Priced at 8.99 for six, I think they are good value for money considering they seem good quality.
Great size for lunchboxes
These ice packs are good value at 9 for 6 and will certainly last for a weeks worth of lunchboxes if kept in freezer. I like them because they are a decent size for cooling but will also fit in a lunch bag which is a real necessity when there’s hot weather (especially if the children have to keep them in a warm classroom) Also handy for picnics and travels. Very impressive.

Great produc
I have been using these for several weeks now – here is a tip for you – freeze them and then stand them up on a plate in front of a room fan – it cools down the air on a hot day.
I have also used them in my cool box to take food on my staycation – worked really well and made a noticeable difference.
These are very good, a great size compared to others we have had – you can fit them in between food really easily.
Great for traveling
Got these in the heatwave of 2021. They are a very handy addition to a travel lunch bag especially when the car feels like an oven, and these help the food stay fresh and not go stale or dry. These work even more effectively in a cool bag. They require minimal intervention- stick them in the freezer side ways over night, then put them in your bag the following morning. Viola!
Some minor bulging on a couple of blocks. Nice size for all uses
This practical set of 6 ice blocks is useful for small and large containers. Also, what i do with them when on a hot day im using my phone, i slip a bit of fabric or plastic bag round one, and rest my phone on it when using it a lot and for when on a table as it stops the high temp shutdowns of phone!
There was minor bulging on a couple of them which was unexpected given if kept them bundled in original inner and outer packaging and it occurred in the middles.
That said look really tough and are well made with rugged ridges both when room temp and unfrozen and when frozen.
Excellent thin blocks!
Good quality thin freezer blocks, ideal for lunch bags or water evaporation coolers. They kept a picnic bag cool all day, so whilst thin they are very effective. I was pleased to find these were the same ones I already had as they are good blocks. We only change these twice a day in the water evaporation units, they keep the water cool for much longer than the ones that came with the coolers. I only store these in the freezer doors once they are already frozen, I found out why you should keep them flat with my previous blocks as they can swell if frozen upright. We’ve used this brand of blocks all summer in our evaporation coolers, and for the food cooler, and never had an issue with the seals.

Keeps your cool box items cold
These are compact ice blocks that come in two separate packs of three. It advises that when you are freezing the blocks to lay them flat for optimal performance.
These are great, they don’t take up too much room in the freezer and you can add multiple blocks to your cool box without them being too bulky.
I used these in my partner’s thermal lunch bag and they kept his food and drinks cold , even on the hottest days.
At 8.99 for a pack of 6 I think these are great value for money and I would definitely recommend them.
Lasts a long time
They were only filled halfway, and ‘pop’ within minutes of being taken out of the freezer, but last a very long time. I use two for each of my plastic storage boxes to keep the contents inside chilled, I simply rotate between ice packs.
I’d say it lasts 8-12 hours as it has melted a lot quicker on days where the UK has had over 30 degree Celsius heat.

Used these to store my drinks when going beach and kept them nice and cold most of the day, great for putting on muscle injury as well, I had a trapped nerve in my neck and this worked well.

These six ice blocks are perfect for keeping fruit juice, water, beer etc.. nice and cold when on the beach or having a picnic. The casing is made of a thick, sturdy plastic, they keep solid for quite a long time, and don’t take up much room in the freezer.

Ordered for a cooler bag when I got on Holiday camping at Bridlington last time we were on holiday I’ve lost the cooler box and needed to order more he is a perfect size not too big not too small and come with quite a few so you can cover everything definitely would order again really like the size. Keep cool for a really long time And freeze really easily afterwards to reuse
Excellent cool blocks and love the size easy to fit in a lunch bag. Great quality and freeze really quickly. Today it was just over 29 degrees and left picnic cool bag and drinks bag in the car with blocks, in the bags for just over 5 hours still frozen and all food (fish and salads) and drink cool and fresh.

Great slimline cool blocks
These are slimline cool blocks that are really good for putting in lunch boxes to keep sandwiches cool. They are also a good size to place around or between shopping or picnic items that you want to keep cool or frozen.
Another use (the reason why I wanted to test smaller cool blocks) is in my Totalcool fan, and they fit perfectly.
They are well made and stay frozen for a long time once removed from the freezer. Currently, you get six blocks for the Prime price of 8.99 which makes them just under 1.50 each which is very good value.
Good ice packs
This set of 6 ice packs is extremely useful in the summer months. We put them in the freezer overnight and then place them in the cooler box with some cold drinks and hours later on the beach they are still cold. Much better than using actual ice because these don’t melt and make everything wet.
