I love my new camera. It does exactly what it says it does.
I’m tempted to buy another for the front of the house as this is perfect. Its weather proof and it was tested out with strong winds and rain and it never effected it at all.

These are cracking little cameras. Easy to install, easy to set up.
It’s very dark in my area, no lighting at the side or rear of the building, set back from the road. So any noise at night and we’re up, peering out of the window into darkness, imagining all sorts of mad axemen and burglars with ‘swag’ written on a sack. All joking aside, there have been a few attempted burglaries, so I set about investigating CCTV that didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.
I settled upon these. So easy to pair with your phone. Just plug your camera in before installing it in place. Download the app. Your phone brings up a QR code which the camera scans. I always get the ‘Yi Home’ type, so they all work with the same app. And you’re away.
Then drill a hole in the wall or window casing, pop the cable through, plug it in the mains and you’re up and running.
The night vision is exceptional, almost better than daylight. Instead of peering round the curtains, holding a handy golf club in case of intruders, we can see the noise was actually just a crisp packet wafting past. I can see all 5 cameras on my phone or laptop, even when I’m away from home as long as I can access the net.
You need an SD card. I got the 128gb type. I have it on record all the time, and it saves about 10-12 days of video. Easy playback and event recording. You can buy a subscription, but I haven’t bothered. The SD card does the job.

Good camera,bad design of the power adapter with short cables
This is overall good camera,but the power adapter and the cables are not what I would prefer for outdoor camera.
The power adapter of the camera is made to be installed next to the camera and has really short cables.
The cable between the camera and the power adapter is long enough just to install the adapter behind the camera.
The cable between the adapter and the 3 PIN mains plug is just enough to have a wall mounted mains socket installed next to the camera and that’s one of the things that I wouldn’t do.
My outdoor cameras are installed really high on the wall and installing mains socket next to them will need extra work.
Normally if the cable is long enough you can install the camera and just drill a small hole to plug the adapter indoors and everything is safe and no issues when it is raining.
The adapter is 12V/2A so there is always a way to just get another adapter with longer cable.
Installing the camera app and connecting the camera to the app was an interesting thing.
After installing the app and after I tried to connect the camera,I an error message that this is a Chinese version of the camera and that I need to download the Chinese version of the app.
Never seen that before,but after downloading the new app,everything was overall easy to do.
I have tried different ways to install it and the only one that actually works is “Hotspot config to WiFi”.
This requires connecting to the WiFi Access Point of the camera and setting it that way.
After pressing on the way of connecting,you just need follow the instructions and it takes 2-3 minutes to finish with the setup.
The image quality of the camera is good and the motion tracking is good as well.
The camera tracks the motion until there is no motion.
After that the camera goes back to the default position.
The price of 33.99 is pretty good price for what you get even with the bad design of the power adapter.

Quick and easy to install, reasonably good for the price
If you’re after a form of surveillance/security cameras to allow you to view activity throughout the day/night through motion detection, but also to potentially act as a two-way mic/audio solutions (answering door, telling someone to get lost, etc), then this outdoor camera is a good, inexpensive option that gives you the majority of the features without the outrageous price-tag of some similar setups.
The system/camera is quick and easy to install; the picture quality/video quality (1080p) is reasonably good for the price; the night vision works surprisingly well (although it is difficult to get infra-red night vision ‘wrong’ these days), and the two-way audio is just clear enough to make out what each party is saying (can be difficult if incredibly windy/stormy).
Easy to setup
This camera is a 1080P HD WiFi security camera surveillance system which is plug and play, infrared night vision and motion detection.
This camera comes in a box with a wall mount and power cable.
The camera itself is sleek and is all white and black.
The camera is quick and easy to set up even if you are not a very technical person. There is a step by step guide in the instruction booklet which all you have to do is connect the cables and the. Download the app, you then need to use your smartphone to register the camera with your phone. Once set up it can be controlled from your phone and the camera can be viewed.
Takes a few minutes to install but it is very simple. I had no problems.
This is good for your home for example the front door or back garden just generally around your house if you are not in. You can feel safe with this camera as you can check in at any time. Keep an eye on your belongings anywhere anytime, great for monitoring.
It’s a great product and good quality for the price. It’s good how there is a SD card slot so you can have this to record for motion detection for security purposes and there are connections to connect to your alarm system to trigger when motions are detected.
Overall a very good camera compared to other products and works really well and the material is very smooth and strong for long lasting and the quality is very good.

Not impressed,power lead is short I had to buy a separate power extension cable, wireless setup is ridiculously complex, instructions are so tiny, and accessing the camera from wifi is ok as long as you are on the same network, but the minute you are away from home, forget it unless you pay 129 per year for there cloud storage, I cant even setup ny own cloud storage to use with it.
Good image quality and strong wifi signal
This is a good little ball camera, you can remote pan and tilt this from your phone which is a neat feature, the wifi signal is strong even though my router is 2 rooms away so good wifi, image quality is great in both day and night, the spot light is functional and will improve images at night, all in all, a good home security camera.
