    Safe to use
Easy to use & safe. The Ladder has an audible click when adjusting & a SOFT close. Thus, ensuring you do not pinch any part of your hand when closing. Excellent product.

    Feels safe.
A good ladder, not quite as long as expected, I should have gone for the longer one, but pleased overall.

Quality product will do the necessary
Good sturdy ladder that I can sore in a cupboard for use inside the house. The stability would be better supplied with a couple of bolts and butterfly crews to allow the bar to be removed and stored in a tighter space. I purchased the bolts and screws of a few pounds. Much easier to remove and fix the bar.

    Sturdy
Comes well protected in a cardboard box and polystyrene to protect it in storage and transit. The ladder is made of aluminium, making it tough and durable aswell as reasonably lightweight. It comes in 2 parts, so only minimal assembly is required. You just need to attach the base stabiliser bar to the main ladder. The base has 2 anti slip feet to keep it steady on the ground. Easy to set up and use. At a close its 90cm in height. Once fully opened up, it can reach the maximum height of 3.2m. You can hear it click and lock into place when setting up. As a safety, it has 2 release buttons that need doing together to close each set of rungs down. The steps are deep and textured to give you more grip. It will take a maximum weight to 150kg. Perfect to use both indoors and outside, for all your hand to reach jobs. Easy to store and take anywhere with you. Sturdy and securely locks into place, lightweight and portable; what more could you ask for in a ladder. Even comes with a 3 year warranty.

    Loft ladders
I ordered these ladders to secure to my loft hatch.

Arrived fully compacted inside a cardboard box.

Fully assembled extra strong and solid telescopic ladders.

Required attachment hook to fit ladder to loft beam and hatch door that cost an extra 35.

Works perfectly as loft ladder, just unlatch hooks to pull steps down individually until you reached the floor.

Easy return by just unlatch from lock position and compressed air system closed ladders to retracted state. Just hook to hatch and close back up.

Overall, these ladders are excellent quality and very well made.

    I would recommend this product.

FANTASTIC telescopic ladder with soft-close safety feature
This is a fantastic ladder. I have had a shorter version (different brand) of these extendable telescopic ladders for a couple of years and while It’s good, it is a bit tricky to retract as it doesn’t have a soft close feature and you have to be so careful not to get your thumbs trapped. This StepIT ladder is wonderful and so much safer to use. Its soft close feature means that it’s safely retracts into itself when you push the securing buttons on either side to release them.

The ladder is light weight and very solidly built. It’s quality. It comes in a box with a separate bottom bar which attaches simply by slotting into the bottom of the ladder (this is essential as it helps the ladder to be more stable when you climb up it).

At fully extended, it’s a huge 3.2m high which is probably more than enough for anyone for DIY work. Having said that, we’re having an extension at the moment and our builders have been borrowing it to get up onto the flat roof because it’s easier to use than their folding ladder, and they are incredibly impressed — especially that it closes safely!

The old adage ‘you get what you pay for’ certainly applies here. The ladder currently costs 89.99 with Amazon Prime, which I think represents its quality and functionality very well indeed. Five stars!

Well-made and feels safe to use
StepIt 3.2m Soft Close Safe Retraction Telescopic Ladder with Stabiliser Bar

A retractable telescopic ladder is a good choice for homes with minimal storage space. Still, I somehow feel anxious with this one considering the locking mechanism of each rung – you can’t see the inside, and since there’s a chance you won’t hear the ‘click’, it will be hard to determine what the issue is. This is just my 2 cents as the item feels stable and could support my 6-footer husband.

No annoying rattling is associated with regular aluminum ladders because of the compressed air system. A good safety feature is the release buttons which only work when pressed simultaneously on each side.
If you are considering this type of ladder, it is recommended.

    Strong, Wellmade, Automatic Slow-Close.
The ladder comes complete but the support bar is separate on arrival. Two bolts and lock nuts are included but you will need a couple of spanners to tighten them. There are two instruction leaflets with the ladder; one on how to fit the support bar (which is simple and straightforward) and one on how to use the ladder.

The ladder can be used fully or partly extended. The ladder opens differently for each option. When fully extending the ladder, you open it up from the top rung. When part-extending, you open it up from the lowest rung. The reason for this is that the ladder has a slow close system that starts by releasing the two red buttons on the lowest rung. The closing of the lowest rung automtically releases the lock on the rung above and so on until the ladder is fully closed. The first one or two rungs might need an encouraging push but after that each rung slowly closes itself. There is an air-cushioned release so that there is no sudden closing of the rungs. It’s a clever method and a good safety feature.

Underneath the lowest rung there is a curved hand grip that makes carrying the closed ladder more comfortable. A velcro strap is incorporated into the handle and secures the rungs in a closed position during transport.

On the top rung are two wall spacers that can be rotated out to give a small distance between the top of the ladder and the wall. These spacers are released or secured by the slide clips on the top rung.

The ladder feels strong and well made. I don’t feel nervous using it. I particularly like the safety feature of the slow-close because there’s no danger of the ladder collapsing unexpectedly and trapping my fingers.

    Super sturdy, but heavy
Fantastic extendable ladder, well built and easy to set up and adjust. Easy to transport when closed, but still heavy to carry. The soft closure system is well designed, and once set to length you feel very confident in its reliability.
Very pleased with this in use

    It's sturdy and compac
This is not light at just over 11kg, but it is quite compact when lowered- 88 x 48cm.
Making this easy to be stored away, under the bed, or behind/side of the wardrobe.
It is quite easy to open up, as it clicked along the way, and the compressed air help with the lowering- does need a bit a push now and then.
This has been a ladder for the loft for now and perhaps later some DIY around the house.
And this is designed with portability and storage in mind, hence fitting in a car boot easily – no roof rack and tying needed.
    Good price at below 90.

sturdy ladder with soft close system
his is a telescopic ladder, there are 10 extendable sections, 3.2 meters long when fully extended, it could be partially extended and locked from the bottom

a removable stabilizer is included for extra safety, but the ladder itself is already very heavy and sturdy, should be alright for most cases, i didn’t install the stabilizer for easy storage

it’s very easy to use, it locks only when extend from the bottom, each section is around 30cm, so you decide how long do you need and extend from the section needed (e.g extend from the 5th section for 2 meters, extend from the 1st section for 3.2 meters, etc)

and i really appreciated that it has a compressed air soft close system, so collapsing sections are slow and safe, and releasing latch for lower sections will automatically collapse upper sections, it’s a great and useful design

material and build of the ladder is of good quality and sturdy, i weigh 80kg and feel safe on every step

i’m very happy with this product, would recommend

hope you find these information helpful

High quality and so easy to move about when closed
These are an absolute godsend for my small garage being telescopic they collapse down very compact but at the same time they feel study and top quality, the buttons to collapse it are foolproof as you have to do both sides at the same time so no accidental presses, at 3.2m they are perfect for household type jobs, highly recommended to all.

ALL OK. AND IT SEEMS SAFE ENOUGH.
It works. And it is secure.
I had to bolt the base onto. 2x 10mm spanners required. And then extended it. I was up it moments later and a security light was secured in place.
OMG! To reduce the hight just gently slide the 2 buttons on the appropriate rung and watch it slowly lower.
