Built to last!
I’ve had this vacuum cleaner for almost 2 years now! So easy to dispose of and has 3 great settings. I have hard floors and a rug plus tiles an its perfect on all surfaces. The lights are great for picking up dust that you usually wouldn’t see and its slimline so gets under my bed and under furniture very easily. I thought I reviewed this some time ago but let’s hope it continues to be great. The battery last around 45 mins so around 3 uses before I need to recharge. Highly recommend.
Great little lightweight vacuum cleane
I bought this for my daughter who’d commented on how easy my own Tineco vacuum cleaner is to use and how light it is. In fact, I think this one is an upgrade on mine as you can download an app which tells you when the filter needs cleaning and when the cleaner needs to be emptied. My daughter has two small children and uses it everyday. She really likes it and as such I’m very happy with the purchase.
The perfect combo
Cleans like a robot maid, to the last dust. Perfect suction with three levels of power. It gets the job done and I love that there’s no cord or heavy thing going around with you.
I have had my Tineco Hero A11, and very disappointed with the battery life. Poor quality for price!
My Tineco A11 Hero was good to start with, then after two years, of not much use, probably a dozen times a month, then after the batteries had been full recharged, they lasted for approximately ten minutes. Not good enough in my opinion?
Really impressed
I bought this when it was on offer for 99. What a bargain!! Its lightweight but sturdy loads of accessories and so easy to clean the filters etc. Lowest suction is enough, the highest is so strong I cannot see me ever needing it. 45 min recharging so very quick. Not a brand I had heard of before but so glad I decided to buy. Much better than my mother in laws Bosch which was twice the price. 3 year guarantee included. Highly recommended.
Good, but not excelle
Good for the price and I especially enjoyed the amount of components included (master version), for instance the 2 brushes and 2 batteries.
A little bit heavier than I expected and the suction isn’t as strong as I’d like, I couldn’t remove the sand from the car’s carpet, for example.
But I’d still recommend the product.

It is honestly amazing, doesn’t leave any bits behind, leaves those satisfying hoover lines in the carpet and is just overall a good product.

Overall it’s not as slick as a Dyson – but for the money represents good value and is a solid alternative. It cleans well and overall I’m very happy with it and I’m a tech nerd who is not easily impressed

Easy to use and manoeuvre. Lightweight and quick to change the tools. Suction is good but could be better. Tank is easy to empty but not very big 0.6L. Wall bracket is very handy and space for a spare battery should you need it. A good cordless hoover for the price.
What a great bit of ki
Bought this after watching various YouTube videos regarding rechargeable hand held vacuums, and couldn’t believe the price on Amazon. We live in Greece and our old expensive ‘named’ units battery failed, the cost of a new battery for it was just under the price of this unit. So pleased we changed, the suction is much better. Granted it is a little heavier, but the ability to fix the switch as permanent ‘on’ makes such a difference. We have tiled floors throughout and it easily cleans the whole house (100sqmt) on low suction. Great purchase.

Never heard of this make before, always had a shark, we have a mix of wooden floors and carpets in our house, use on full turbo mode for the wooden roof and it seems to stick to the floor does a really good job. And comes with good accessories as well. Easy to put together, just make sure there’s a plug socket near where you put it on the wall as it charges in the holde

I bought this cordless cleaner in 2020 as I live in a small cottage and do not have room for big bulky cleaners. This cordless cleaner has been so easy to use and cleans and lifts on hard floor and carpets with no problems switching from one to the other,and changing the attachments couldn’t be easier.
I have had no issues until recently when it kept stopping and cutting out. I contacted the customer service dept. who could not have been more helpful. I sent videos of the problem and they replaced the part without any fuss . I would recommend this cleaner for its ease of use but especially for its customer service.

More than pleased.
After taking a couple of months to decide which cordless hoover to have, we finally took the plunge with the Tineco A11. After two years of use we can honestly say we are more than pleased. The fact it came with two Batteries helped persuade us to purchase. The Battery life is great, the hoover is very light weight and the suction also very good. The best part for me is that the wife is so pleased with it, she no longer expects me to use it especially after I dropped it and broke the clip on the bin. So far the customer service has been great in helping me resource a new bin for it. Thanks Tineco for a quiet life.

The A11 is easy to set up and use. It comes with a wall mounted charging station so looks good. It is easy to use and is so much better than getting out my old wired Dyson. It picks up dirt really well on both hard floors and carpets. It is easy to empty and I would thoroughly recommend this hoover.

So far, it’s living up to all those ‘GLOWING’ YouTube reviews. I will update when I receive my accessories, which I think will make this machine complete. Suction, even on Lowest Power, is amazing, and all most will ever need – You’ll be amazed at its deep cleaning ability on carpets. I will update this in due course.

Only had this machine a month but I’m delighted by the perfomance in a mixture of enviroments and surfaces. The design and construction looks robust and its light weight make it simple and convenient to use.
I purchased a spare battery but unfortunately chose the wrong battery for the machine. However the Customer Services people from Tineko quickly swapped batteries for me at no cost.

We bought our Tineco A11 Hero vacuum cleaner in March 2021 to replace another light weight vacuum cleaner. We have been very happy with the product, it continues to do an excellent job meeting all of our vacuuming needs with an additional battery.
When we lost a small part cleaning the brush attachment rendering the attachment useless, I wrote to Tineco as I wanted to source a replacement and I couldn’t find the part on line. As it was our fault I was happy to pay for the lost part. Tineco customer services were amazing, they replaced the whole attachment free of charge (not just the missing part).
I highly recommend the company and it’s products.
Still going strong after 18 Months!
Bought the Tineco A11 Hero back in early 2020 and its still good after more than 18 months of use, the batteries still seem to hold there charge for a good 20+min the suction while not amazing does a good job on the carpets of a 2 bedroom bungalow you do have to empty and clean the dust filter regularly to maintain the suction but this takes just a few minutes, for ease of use and how light it is the stand up corded Dyson it replaced still sits unused in the cupboard.
However if your coming from a cordless Dyson v8/v10 etc you might be disappointed but the Tineco are less than 1/2 the price of those.
They can be a bit fragile if you drop them on a hard floor tho as the accident prone other half has managed to break the main housing and the attachment switch on the extension pipe, but on both occassions a quick email to Tenico Customer Services with pics of problem etc a new part was sent out immediately free of charge so can’t fault the warranty back up.
Even had a friend buy one after seeing mine and he’s still happy with his after more than a year.
For the price especially when on offer I think there good value for money but if you have high expectations stick to a 400 Dyso
Battery Life not good
Bought this in May 21 – The Vacuum is brilliant but sadly the battery is not – it no longer holds any charge after only 7 months. Now having to order another. The product is let down by this.
This vacuum cleaner is the better than my Dyson by miles
I love this product (tineco hero 11) it has a boosted power mode that picks up dog hair. It is so lightweight my 88 year old mother in law bought one after seeing mine and loves it. The price is good and it deals with my 2 bedroomed apartment in no time. We have never runout of battery charge yet after using it over the last year. However, the most impressive thing was the customer service. I jammed the roller (my fault) I contacted Tineco to get a replacement and they were incredibly helpful as well as sent me one free of charge. My recommendation. Don’t hesitate buy one you won’t regret it.
good cordless stick vacuum
Purchased a Tineco A11 Hero stick vacuum with 2 batteries wall-mounting dual charger, via their Amazon shop, in late-December 2019. Very prompt delivery, in well-designed packaging.
Very pleased with vacuum performance which in my experience compares favourably with higher-priced equivalent. Decent motor/suction. Bin easy to empty. Filters easy to clean. Good selection of attachments included, which click in place.
18month later had cause to email a query to Customer Services [vacuum still working]; wasn’t sure what response would be. WOW! Speedy and courteous, with delivery of a replacement part under warranty in less than a week.
My experience of appliance and after-sales been very good; I’d be happy to recommend to family/friends.

Very good vacuum cleaner. It is very easy to use, it is lightweight, manoeuvres very well. The suction is amazing. Every time I use it the amount of dust surprised me as I can’t see it on the carpets. But it makes me feel good as Tineco does good job by removing it from the carpets. I have used dyson before and hated it. Tineco has good suction powers (3 modes), for stairs it has separate brush which is easy to use. In overall I am very happy with it. I was always giving good feedback to everyone and my mum got one for herself as well. Oh and it is easy to clean. Also, at one point I needed help and contacted their customer service and they got back to me very quickly and helped. I am recommending this product!
If it ain’t actually broke, I’m always reluctant to replace old gear. So why did I get rid of my old vacuum cleaner (which still worked) and buy a Tineco? Well, I live in a house with millions of stairs and the old machine was getting heavier. The cable was always wrapping itself round my legs. And I really wanted to go light and cordless. Which? Magazine recommended Tineco, so I thought, ‘blow it, why not?’ Or should that be ‘suck it, why not’?
The model I chose, the A11 Hero, wasn’t expensive, not as these things go, and there’s no point buying the cheapest of anything. I haven’t had it three weeks yet, but I’m ready to give a verdict.
1. It is amazingly light and convenient. I spot a cobweb. Or a moth. Or crumbs. And I can just get the machine and deal with it there and then. I couldn’t do that before — not with a vacuum the weight of a Sherman tank. With no weight and no cable, it makes hoovering the stairs a positive pleasure.
2. It cleans like a good’un. I like being able to change the power of the suction. On the top setting I’ve actually cleaned awkward carpeted corners I’d given up on.
3. It comes with plenty of accessories and it’s easier to empty than my old monster; it stores easily too.
4. And this is the really amazing bit — for me, anyway. You can take it apart to clean it — easily. And it goes back together again — easily. I had to think a bit the first time, but then I realised how intuitive it is. Idiot proof, in fact. Even for me.
Yes, okay, if I don’t say something is wrong, no-one will believe me. So, here goes. Some people may think the bin is a bit smaller than they’re used to. But I can vacuum four floors without emptying it — and I don’t do it that often! I haven’t yet tried hoovering the whole house in one go, so I can’t say from my own experience if the battery would last that long. Maybe not, if you use full power a lot. But the battery, I find charges quite quickly. And anyone who lives in a mansion you can buy a second battery as a back up.
Anyway, for me this has been a pretty good buy.
Very versatile lightweight vacuum.
I liked the range of tools that came with the cleaner and the spare primary filter which was included. The suction is very good and on level 2 it almost sticks to the smooth kitchen floor. I did buy a stand suitable for a Dyson and this did need a small modification for this cleaner, only one hole lined up initially.
I did like the cleaner for the pre-filter which worked quite well and the light on the main power brush.
Cleaning was easy ,as was emptying the rubbish. Having cleaned one floor the battery was sufficient to cope and lasted at least twenty minutes.
There is space at the top of the charger unit for a spare battery and I have marked down the unit as for the last 3 months I have not been able to buy a battery for this appliance. If anything goes wrong during its warranty time what other things may not be available?
Great vacuum
I would recommend this vacuum to anybody. 4 and a half stars is more accurate. The suction is good, the storage dock works well, the batteries last a decent amount of time while using (I can do my entire 4 bedroom house) and are still perfect after almost a year of having this product. The prefilters get clogged quite quickly, however, and need go in the special cleaning tool every time you use it, or it doesn’t suck so well (there isn’t a dock for this cleaning tool, which is a shame). You just get used to the routine though. The brush cleaning tool is very handy and the smaller head is fantastic for the stairs, though I don’t think it’s great for use on my sofa, but this could be just my style of sofa. It passes under furniture well as it goes virtually flat. All in all, Love it and will be keeping it for as long as it performs well.
Excellent little machine
I purchased this handy vacuum cleaner on 1st May 2021. It is a wonderful, light weight alternative to heavier hoovers and I particularly love the hand device, accessories and lack of cord. My only wish would be for this hoover to have a longer lasting battery as I have a large house and need at least 2 batteries fully charged to get around it. Hence, awarding it 4 stars rather than 5 stars. However, it is so useful and stylish, that I am prepared to put up with the battery life and plan hoovering time around the battery charging. I love the fact that the whole unit can be attached to the wall.
Decent hoover, but didn't last long.
Overall I was happy with the hoover. Obviously won’t beat a Henry for power but does a good job on hard flooring and carpet, comes with a good amount of different attachments.
Thought I found the one, I was tackling stairs with out cords or wrestling little Henry around the house it was very lightweight and easy to hold with one hand.
But unfortunately 7 months later its dead, for a 350~ hoover I am devastated. I have emailed support hopefully they resolve it soon cause I’m back to the trusty back breaking dustpan and brush.
EDIT: Was sorted same day via email realy helpful and great customer service. After back an forth with just a few email and me sending a video of whats wrong, they sent me a new body. I have already recieved and very happy with the service. Hoping this one lasts maybe I just got unlucky.
Excellent Customer Care - see update at the end of the review
Bought this to replace a Dyson Fluffy cordless vacuum cleaner. It is brilliant and so light to use. The LED light really does highlight the amount of fluff etc on the laminate floors on the large motorised heads. We use the mini motorised head a lot to hoover up cat fur on seats and cushions. However, after 7 months of use this mini head it has packed up and can we find where a replacement can be bought – no! We are now comtemplating buying a second hand one to that we have the small head again. Also, the canister fills up very quickly and the filter inside it clogs up and stops it working efficiently. We were lucky by the look of other reviews to have the second battery included. If considering a cordless vacuum maybe look for another make!
UPDATE – Tineco Customer Service contacted me to ask why we were unhappy with our vacuum cleaner. Explained about the mini power brush and that my husband had taken it apart to try to fix the problem but to no avail. Imagine our surprise and delight when Tineco told us that they were going to replace the head and they sent it out once they had our details without delay. Works perfectly. Buy with confidence as Tineco seem a genuine company to deal with and will help with any problems. One very happy customer!
Good value for the money
I’m using it on daily basis and didn’t realise how much dust can be in my house.
When arrived it was well packed, looked very expensive at first glance. I’m using it for more than a month as I said on daily basis. Downstairs I have a Roborock S5 Max but upstairs it’s only Tineco. Light-weight, easy to change brushes, easy to clean it.
It would be nice to have 2 batteries as default. The main battery can hold for about 30 mins on normal (minimum speed) and it can cover both upstairs and downstairs but it depends also on how many times is switched on or off to change brushes.
Overall is a good product and it’s doing a very good job.
Better than a Dyso
Great suction power, so much that I cannot use the max button on the carpets! 🙂 The “headlights” on the multi purpose floor tool are great you can really see all the books and crannies you need to come back to with the tools. And you can come back because the power of the battery is terrific, even better when you have two batteries if you fancy a proper spring clean. My favourite bit is that the on switch can be flicked to stay on, better than a dyson, and the battery release is nowhere new this bit so you don’t have the problem of releasing the battery when you are keeping the vacuum clutched to keep it on. We don’t have stairs so I can’t comment but I imagine it would be great. The suction on the crevice tool was so good that it sucked a piece of loose skirting off and it’s slender enough to get the tools behind bookcases. I was toying with a shark for the anti hair wrap technology but this one barely twists up with hair and comes with a removal tool and a cleaning tool for the filter. It’s a little heavier than my old dyson but the pluses outweigh that slight difference. Totally worth the money and definitely 5 stars.
Great cordless vacuum
First one arrived with no battery or charging cord!! However was promptly rectified.
This is a great little cordless. Great for wooden floors, high ceilings, hard to reach places. Sucked up the wooden cat litter I managed to throw over the floor the other day without breaking a sweat…. I have to break out the corded dyson to give the carpets a good vacuum as I find this doesn’t get all the dog and cat fur out, tho is fine for a quick whizz round. I only ever use on the highest power, so have bought a spare battery.
My last cordless, a Moosoo was fine, but you cldnt seem to get spares, and once I’d lost the crevice tool it was rendered useless, as I specifically had purchased it to use in the car, and to reach the ceilings in my conservatories. I hate the extension tube on my corded dyson, it’s awkward and bulky and you have to lug the whole bloomin’ machine with you….
Excellent quality vacuum
Excellent quality vacuum. I don’t know why I didn’t change to cordless sooner.
Vacuuming used to be a chore, but it’s now up and done in 20 mins and I have 10 medium sized rooms to do.
As I love on 3 floors, something lightweight was required, due to a lot of stairs.
The filter does require more regular cleaning than I would like, but it’s only a minor addition.
I bought this to keep our house cleaner for a husband w severe dust allergy and a 9 month old son. Never realised how much dust and small dirt particles we had before until I had some floor time with son.
After using this vacuum for about 3 months our house is much less dusty and is more clean. I vacuum every 1-2days.
The light at the front helps see more dirt which is a handy feature.
Edit: unfortunately after using it for 2 years i wouldn’t buy it again. Crumbs fall out, i have to use max suction, and clean the parts after every use. It’s a bit high maintenance.
Excellent, glad we switched
This is an excellent machine replacing a corded John Lewis vacuum. While haven’t had a cordless vacuum before, very happy with the product so far. Pros: Came well boxed with more accessories than we need for apartment. Easy to register for warranty and set up. Used three times a week on mixture of wooden floors and carpet for past few weeks. Also use smaller head to clean the car which is convenient. Machine is very easy to use and clean. Generally low level suction is enough to pick up dust and dirt around the apartment. Haven’t noticed issues with battery, one point to note, there’s only one battery with the device. Light on the main head is great to let you see dust on floors. Also, easy to clean.
In terms of cons, you have to install charger pack on wall, alternatively can leave to charge on the floor if there is space. Head is a bit squeaky on wooden floors. Emits a high pitched sound when using High level suction. These are minor issues.
Recommended to all my friends
I am so happy with this product that I recommended it to all my friends and now there are 5 of us with matching vacuums – all happy.
I tend to use it on the lowest setting for most jobs and has excellent battery life, but one friend always uses max and says that she loves the battery life – enough to get the area done, but short enough to mean she can’t do the whole house so has an excuse to stop.
I have never had a problem with suction.
Perfect for stair cleaning and cobwebs from the corners of the ceiling and quiet enough that I don’t worry about using it at antisocial hours.
Cleaning tools to help clean hair off the roller and clean the filter make keeping my vacuum clean easy (never thought that was something I would say!)
The only drawback is that I don’t like the standard attachment on hard floors.

Excellent vacuum at a fantastic price
I’ve been using the A11 for a couple of weeks now and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Well built, powerful (120w on max) and very light weight (2.5kg compared to a whopping 5kg+ for the Shark stick [with motorised head attached] and 4.0kg for the Dyson V7). I have always been a huge Dyson fan in the past but honestly at this price I don’t think the Tineco A11 can be beaten and it’s certainly better all round than my beloved Dyson V7 it replaces. The main filter is easy to remove and clean with an ingenious included tool and it also has a secondary HEPA filter. Whilst not as powerful as the very latest Dyson’s it is more than powerful enough and I mostly only need to use it on the low power setting for our standard carpets and hard floors. The only negative I can find is that the main cleaning head does not not sit entirely flat for low level under bed/table cleaning etc but otherwise every aspect of this cleaner is seemingly well thought out and implemented. This is an excellent product that is worthy of all the praise it receives in reviews. Highly recommended.
Excellent performance but a little heavy.
Prior to my purchase, I emailed Tineco several times requesting info on various points. Their replies were prompt & very helpful.
My review is based against a 20 year old Melia Cat & Dog vacuum. From first use on basic power, I was impressed at the amount of dirt, dust & fluff it collected. The carpet even looked better as the pile had been brushed rather than just vacuumed. The multi-tasker brush manoeuvred well over carpet & cushion floor plus the LED lights were great for seeing under the furniture & those dark places. I fitted the mini brush directly to the vacuum body & cleaned the stairs. It did a great job but was bulkier & a little cumbersome compared to a small head on a vacuum hose. We have a four bed house & the battery lasted well. I did downstairs first, put it back on charge whilst having a coffee then completed upstairs, including stairs.
My wife wanted a vacuum that was cordless so she could quickly zip around main areas between weekly cleaning times, it certainly does that plus a lot more.
There are a few negatives though but remember I’m not comparing against other cordless stick models, so these may be common across the board.
We found it got heavy after prolonged use, a bit cumbersome on stairs & coving. The bit my wife finds annoying & fiddley is the cleaning of the vacuum after use. Its not too difficult to press the catch & let the dirt drop out, but then you have to strip the vacuum down to clean & wash the filters.
Overall it certainly exceeds our expectations on performance & meets our needs.
A real world test & conclusion!!!
After watching countless YouTube vids & viewing loads of reviews, I took the plunge and purchased the Tineco A11 hero, this was over the Dyson V11/ V10. The main factor for this was the price, at 220 against the Dyson’s 600 hefty price tag, it was a no brainier!!
Although a big risk, as it was the unknown quantity with Tineco, who I’d never heard of!
I received it yesterday & unpacked it, straight off, I was impressed with the quality of build & materials, I fully charged it up as required, approx 3hrs, then started using it!
Now for the real world test, & not the hype !!!
A medium sized 2 bedroom house with lounge/ dining room/ wooden hall way, tiled kitchen & utility area & carpeted stairs / landing area & 2 bedrooms !
So it managed to do all of the first floor and the stairs them selves, but run out of steam before it hit the landing & 2 bedrooms!!
I used at different settings, low/ medium/& high, this is the real word test, I preferred the medium setting, as the low was ok, but you had to do far more passes to get everything, the high setting will consume the battery within minutes, but is a very powerful suction. So as a consequence of this I decided to now opt for a 2nd battery at 65 extra, so as never to worry if it’ll run out again.
So the big Question?
Now after spending at total inc spare battery 285 !!
Would I still have gone down this route, or gone for the more expensive option ???
Yes I would!! Because it’s still over half the cost of the Dyson V11 and still much cheaper than the V10, so why pay more than you have to, plus there’s a lot of things about it, that are much better the the Dyson!
The trigger can be locked On, so you don’t have to keep your finger on it continuously, massive bonus for folks with Arthritis, & the device you attach for cleaning the filter!! Wow no one has developed that yet, what a brilliant idea, & the removal battery, another great idea for swapping out & extending its durability.
Cordless and light.
Excellent little machine once you figure where all the buttons are and how to clean the machine which is rather fussy. I couldn’t understand why, after 2 to 3 weeks use, it was not picking and it was dropping stuff as soon as I stopped the machine, although I had emptied the bin regularly and cleaned up the filter (but not thoroughly enough it turns out). I also thought that the spare filter was to be used after the current one was worn out. However, (now I know), the spare filter is to be used when you clean the used one with water, so as to let it air dry for 24 hours…. So a bit more involved than I first thought, but once I got it all figured out and had cleaned all the bits and pieces thoroughly it worked perfectly well. It is also very light and very handy close to the kitchen to pick all the bits and pieces from the counter!
Best cordless vacuum cleaner that I've bough
This is the is best vacuum cleaner that I’ve had so far. I had a corded first generation Dyson ball small upright vacuum cleaner for flats. Then a few years later I bought a Dyson cordless V6 absolute, both great cleaners but didn’t take up large debris. The Tineco on the other hand is quiet, takes up large debris and has great suction power. It is slightly heavier than my previous Dyson V6, but not by much. Easy to empty, lots of accessories, You have to have the charger unit on the wall, but once you find somewhere to put it its great. Whereas my Dyson V6 you just plunged the charger at the back of the unit. I’m very happy with this cleaner, worth the money, a recommend buy for anyone.
Good value, well designed, versatile and not as garish and ugly as a Dyson!
I bought this to replace a Bosch cordless floor vacuum which was so cumbersome to use in handheld mode, and a Vax handheld, both of which the batteries had given up charging and weren’t replaceable. I was a bit dubious about choosing an unheard of brand, but the reviews are all pretty much on the mark from my short experience of it.
After a week of ownership, the A11 Hero does all it says, with versatile attachments, and a very convenient wall bracket that holds nearly everything supplied and will charge it and a second battery (if you have one). The version I got has a three stage suction button which is better than the two stage as described, the lowest setting will probably only be appropriate for very light rugs or loose flooring, but good to have the extra flexibility and not have to use the top setting which does drain the battery more quickly. It is reasonably quiet on all three settings and the noise isn’t an annoying whine (to my ears) like some vacuums.
The plastic doesn’t feel cheap and brittle as you might expect for this price, although I wouldn’t let the main unit drop to the floor as I guess it would shatter! The tools attach and detach easily and precisely with the catches, and it all feels like a quality product. Too early to see if it wears quickly but so far so good. Also it will be interesting to see how long the battery lasts (not between charges but in total). I nearly got a spare battery but Amazon sneaked the price up from 55 to 69 when they reduced the vacuum by 35 so I’ll wait!
Battery life between charges is significantly shorter when using the powered brush attachments and higher suction settings, but still sufficient for most jobs unless you expect to vacuum the whole house in one go on full power.
Two minor gripes, not sufficient to lose it a star: First the “one touch” dust release isn’t – its very stiff (at least on my brand new one)! You need three hands to open it without spreading the dust you have just hoovered up back all over the floor, Second, the main floor tool doesn’t get the dust right up to the edges as well as my Bosch did. I carry the crevice tool with me to get any bits left, and its easy to swap the tools so not really a big downside.
Be aware that you can only charge the battery while it is installed in the main vacuum and mounted on the wall bracket, or a loose battery in the extra charging slot on top of the wall bracket, you can’t charge a battery separately by plugging into the charger. So you need space to mount the wall bracket that’s near a power point, otherwise look for another model. Mine is in the cupboard under the stairs and takes up no floor space.
Overall it does the job well, and so far I have no gripes and very pleased.

Just purchased. Decided on this model althought there was one cheaper on Black Friday. Reason being it came with two batteries and extra tools including a brush for hard floors. Impressed with the suction of this hoover and compared to Dyson the price is excellent. Has a handy light on the brushes which illuminates the floor. To be honest there are far too many accessories I probably will not use them all. Weight is really good and there is a handy switch so you do not have to hold the trigger all the time, although it seems a bit flimsy. Its early days yet however I am impressed by the hoover and suction which can be poor on some stick hoovers. Yes there are far more expensive models on the market even with this coy. However this model seems more than adequate. Time will tell.
The A11 Hero only. has 1 battery
For some reason there seems to be confusion about the number of batteries the A11 Hero comes supplied with.
Many reviews indicate the hero is supplied with two batteries and this may well be true with their supplied orders but in my case the one I received was only supplied with one battery.
On reading the reviews I assumed the hero came with two but it did not. This was my mistake for not reading the description properly before ordering and I just want to let people know so they don’t make the same mistake as me.
Maybe there are different boxed versions of the hero kicking about and you might be lucky and receive one supplied with two batteries, you never know. But I can only say mine came with only one so double check the description before you order.
I have returned the Hero and ordered the A11 master instead as that definitely comes with two batteries plus extra tools.
I was very impressed with the quality of the machine on opening the packing but I did not use it so can’t comment on performance.
Easy and convenient to use

Works well and quie
Overall good, it seems more powerful than Dyson V8, certainly quieter and more standard attachments. Light is great to seeing all the debris you missed with the dyson. Trigger stays on which seems like a small thing but really helps when vacuuming rooms. Great have 2 batteries and lasts much longer than Dyson, esp on max power when the Dyson dies after a few mins use. Picks up larger debris better like small pebbles and leaves. Looks smart. Not sure if it’s quite as robust the Dyson but that might be the colour and perception. Fits together easier. One issue even using different heads didnt like a mid pile rug, fine with carpet, better with wood floor, and fine with long pile rugs. Would say it’s better on stairs than either Dyson or 2 Hoovers we have. We got around 150 off so much better value than main rivals
Lightweight and easy to assemble and use
I am most impressed by this vacuum cleaner. I have always used a cylinder style before but wanted to try the cordless stick variety. Price was a decisive factor as these things aren’t cheap, especially if I couldn’t get on with it, but I am delighted with my purchase. It came with a second battery which was a great surprise, as were the headlights! It can be stored on the wall, whilst charging, so takes up little space. The suction Is very good and can be enhanced by using the MAX button. This does not have to be held down whilst being used, it works as an on/off switch. The vacuum head is very adaptable and glides easily under the bed, whilst staying flat to the carpet. If I had one concern, it would be the catch for emptying the dust, it does seem a little stiff and I was nervous that it might snap but I think the manufacturer has compensated and used toughened plastic, so as long as I am careful and treat it with respect, I am confident it will last the course. The cleaner comes with a two year warranty and is very easy to register the purchase online. All in all I am very happy with my purchase, it’s light, adaptable, powerful and easy to use.
Easy to use and works everywhere. Hard to flatten a battery
The vacuum is absolutely great! Had it two months and I have used it for plaster dust whilst decorating, wood shavings (small ones of course), sawdust, fibreglass mat fibres after cutting, and its great at removing little flying insects that came indoors in the hot weather without leaving a mess on the wall!
I can honestly say that when using the vacuum for normal cleaning of carpets and hard floors, I can do the whole downstairs of the house with no sign of the battery needing charging. I once did the upstairs and downstairs and the battery showed one bar of charge, but still didn’t give up.
The attachments are very good – two motorised brushes – the larger for floors and the small one for soft furnishings and they click on and off so easily and firmly.
I love the little ‘T’ piece attachment for vacuuming the filter and I have stripped the whole unit twice and washed the filters and the dust bin twice since starting with the unit to months ago. Just remember to put all the parts in the airing cupboard to ensure they are dry before fitting the next day.
I have no bad points to make only good and would give this six stars if I could.
pretty powerful for its size
I bought it because I’ve got a cat who walks cat litter through the house and it was a faff getting the heavy Dyson out to hoover it up. This is much easier- just unhook it from the charging bay on the wall and you’re off. Its suction isn’t as good as the Dyson, but it gets used more often so its swings and roundabouts. It needs emptying more often and the button to open the cylinder if a bit stiff. I don’t regret getting it at all so far, and the cat isn’t scared by it (she hides from the Dyson)
GREAT VACUUM - IF HEAVIER THAN I EXPECTED
I nearly bought a Dyson but spent a lot of time looking around on Amazon, reading reviews and am glad I did. This is generally a great vacuum. It comes with lots of accessories and when wall-mounted half of them store neatly on the wall bracket. It feels a very robust product, the accessories clip on and off very easily and it’s easy to empty. The two batteries are a great idea and both stay charged on the wall bracket. The reason for the drop in stars is that it’s a lot heavier than I expected: this isn’t a problem when cleaning the floor but I wouldn’t be able to hold it up to do higher-level cleaning for very long at all. Having said that, I don’t regret buying it but feel I will have to rely on my mains cylinder vacuum for high work.
Shocked by how fun cleaning with this is.
Navigating amazon reviews for a new vacuum in a sea of what seems like hundreds of unknown brands was a difficult task. Ultimately, youtube comparison tests sold me on the legitimacy of this.
The attachments are all very useful, I swap all the time. The battery life is a non-issue. I have never ran out of battery. Cleaning a room takes a minute. The fact this is wireless is the biggest positive, you can clean a whole room in the time it takes to plug in and wind up a cable of a wired vacuum. The charging mount is very useful and stores all the attachments.
The only negative I have with this vacuum is that when cleaning the stairs, or just general use, the bones in my hand push a little hard on the handle plastic. It is not ergonomic in that sense at all. I will probably end up making some plastic mold. I doubt if there are any other vacuums that are better in this, but still.
Anyway, this is one of the best purchases I have made, I want to rate it 6 stars.
Amazing vacuum!
So far very impressed with this vacuum. The manufacturer has identified weak points in other premium brand vacuums and incorporated them in to this design such as:
1. Battery life. Adding an additional battery ensures you never run out of juice. Generally I can do the whole house with one battery.
2. The lever to keep the trigger on is genius and this small addition makes the job so much easier without ending up with a cramped finger or having to change hands continuously (anyone with arthritis will surely benefit).
3. The led light is so useful when going close to edges or under furniture. Why doesn’t every brand have this?.
4. The see through design at first I thought it was weird but actually it’s so useful when emptying to make sure you have all the fluff and hair out (I have 2 dogs).
5. The filter cleaner is so easy and effective to use after each house clean and only takes 10 seconds!.
All in all I am so glad I made the change to this brand!
Excellent performance for the price. A Best Buy!
I have a pull along wired Dyson and I’m just fed up with it’s size. I have no storage space and it ends up living in the dining room. It’s also fiddly to empty. I researched stick vacuums and thought I wanted Dyson model and was looking at the older models which you can pick up on discount. But I read the Which Magazine reviews and the Tineco was a Which Best Buy and at this price it was a no brainer. I trust Which’s reviews.
You get two batteries! So I never run out of power. The suction is really good for a non-wired vacuum and you get enough accessories for the job. It’s easy to empty but will fill up quickly if you have pets like me. But it’s easy to empty and you get a special automatic filter cleaning attachment which works really well.
I rent so I can’t screw the holder to the wall, so it would have been nice to have a tabletop charging dock option for the batteries and a bag to hold the accessories. I did have to contact Customer Support because I couldn’t find a part in the packaging which I found in an obvious place The customer Service is really good and they couldn’t have been more helpful and kept following up to make sure I was happy. Overall I love this vacuum and the price is excellent for the performance you get. I’m recommending it to my friends and family
We have a city flat and have two pets, cat and a dog, both of whom shed their hair. Getting our Dyson upright vacuum out to do a ‘quick’ once round the bathroom (why so much hair collects in there is a mystery!) the was becoming a bit of a hassle so we researched and chose this device.
I love how easy it is to grab from the cupboard and get going. It’s slightly heavier than I thought but I’m used to that already. For the bathrooms I find the brush ‘tube’ head the best as it can easily get into the corners. I’ve also tried it on the fabric sofa to get off animal hairs and on max power mode with the small rotating brush head was really very good.
On the down side it comes with so many different parts and I’m at a loss where to keep them all. The wall bracket can take 3 heads but it comes with more than that.
There is a slight delay between pressing the button to operate it and the motor starting. Each time I use it I think it’s broken, but I imagine over time I’ll get used to the pause.
As great as it is for those quick little jobs and getting into nooks and crannies it doesn’t replace the full suction and power of my Dyson upright vacuum which I still use for doing the whole flat.
Good value and a decent performe
Bought to supplement a corded vacuum. Couldn’t bear to spend Dyson prices and the Tineco products had good reviews and in this case the advantage of a second battery. So far it’s been a very useful addition. Suction on ‘Max’ mode is good and the main motorised brush head works well on both carpet and hard floors. The ‘mini’ head is great for stairs and vehicles. Capacity is acceptable but we do have to clean the filters quite often – an easy enough task. It’s lightweight, offers good run times and although we had a fault with one battery unit the customer support was excellent and a replacement battery shipped in a matter of days.
Brilliant vacuum cleane
Bought ours on 8th June 2020, after having read all of the 5 star ratings. Was a little nervous that the reviews wouldn’t turn out to be true – but have to say, they are!
So for all of you who want simplicity as I do, then you’ll simply have 3 parts to put together when the stock arrives and then you’re good to go – why, because Tineco have thought through literally everything.
So you’ll have a charged battery when your stock arrives – and you get a second one too – having looked at lots of other vacuum’s, this is one of the very few that provide a second battery as part of the stock delivered.
So within a few short minutes, you’re good to go!
Having completed our first bungalow vac today, I can honestly say that the ease of use; the ease of getting rid of the vac debris; the ease of switching batteries as needed and the power suction are all the best we’ve ever had.
We have 2 dogs and the amount of hair it picked up was ‘amazing’ and so much better than our previous vac.
Registration of the vac for a 2 year warranty was really simple too – why, because Tineco had thought it through and made it really simple.
So if you’re looking for a new vac – the A11 Hero, is truly brilliant and you will NOT be disappointed
Good hoover easy and stylish
It’s a great hoover but if you have heavy carpets this might not be that useful . I have a cable Miele one and the auction is so powerful but a bit too heavy for everyday so wanted something I could quickly hoover the downstairs on a daily basis. I haven’t tried the Dyson animal which this compare too, but I would say it’s ok. The brush is not too strong and sometimes you have to go over the crumbs where the suction place is for it to pick it up.
On normal it’s about 20min
On full blast 10 min but you have two batteries so it’s fantastic.
It’s elegant and I have mounted on the wall with all its gadgets. No more loosing gadgets.
First experience with a cordless. Purchased mainly to use on out hardwood living space downstairs so doesn’t need the full boost power (which is excellent). Very easy to use and manoeuvre around and under furniture.
Comes with 2 batteries but only ever need one unless I’m going to hoover the full house.
Our upstairs is carpet and when used on this you need the extra suction from the boost button but it removed a huge amount on dirt and dust.(amazing to see the amount of dirt that comes from your floors through the clear plastic even when you don’t think your floor is too bad)
Attachments are great great although I find I only use the long handle and the small nozel.
Cleaning is very easy and the filter cleaner is also a great addition.
Can’t compare to a Dyson as I’ve never had one but this product is absolutely brilliant for hard floors and carpets.
Works well but maybe not as robust as a premium brand
Does a good job, the standard setting is ok for general cleaning and the boost setting works well on more stubborn bits of dirt. The LED headlamps show up dust nicely, good range of tools as standard and the wall mounted charging stand is excellent.
Nice that two batteries are included, can usually vacuum everywhere swapping over when needed.
Downside is the insert with filter that goes into the dust collection container and some parts of the main body feel a bit flimsy, not sure how long it will last.
I’d say this is more of a quick ready-use vacuum rather than a complete replacement for a full size corded for a larger property, be excellent for a 1/2 bed flat or similar.
Five star produc
I don’t normally bother with writing reviews but being a bloke who normally lets the wife and robotic hoover get on with it I had to post my impressions of the Tineco A11 Hero. Being close to retirement I wanted something easier to use than our old broken corded hoover.
I spent ages deciding what to get and initially bought a new robotic hoover with no go areas to avoid jumping over chair legs, but it just kept going around in the same spot after I tried setting up the no go areas. My wife said just get me a new corded hoover but I decided to get a cordless stick hoover and read reviews and watched YouTube videos.
It came down to the Dyson V10 while it was offer or the Tineco which obviously I bought Hence this review. Even though we have mainly hard floors I bought the Hero instead of the Master which would have come with the hard floor soft roller head and other useful accessories. Even though the head that comes with the Hero is good on hard floors and carpet I may buy the soft roller head and the accessory kit later the angled head in the kit will come in useful for the high window sill we have.
My hobby is watching films and I have a dedicated cinema room which my wife says I must keep clean. Because I have two levels of seats with steps it isn’t easy to clean with a heavy corded hoover. The Tineco makes this a breeze due to being cord free, lightweight and easily manoeuvrable. This room is one of the few with carpet and even on standard power it gave it a good clean. I tried it on max power and there is plenty of suction if a deep clean is required.
As I said I don’t normally do much hoovering but this is so easy to use that I decided to give the whole house a go. I didn’t even have to swap batteries and spent a few minutes on high power just to try it and the rest on standard power on the hard floor. I told my wife that I used it and was impressed and she told me that she had tried it when I was at work. Her opinion is more relevant than mine and she said it was much easier to use than the old corded hoover and that it picked up well in comparison.
The accessories are easy to remove and attach and everything is well made. I like the see through casing showing the inside and also the fact that you don’t have to hold the trigger to keep the motor running but you can if you want to for short bursts.
Overall we are extremely happy with the purchase and performance and don’t regret purchasing it instead of the Dyson.

Revised - great little vacuum!
This is a revised review as my initial one was more of a rant about it not coming with the floor based charging unit, which is somewhat unfair.
Having had this a few months now, I have to say that I am more than impressed. Build quality is actually pretty good, and the fact that you get two batteries is even better!! The run time is more than adequate for my needs.
When you put this on Max, you can actually feel it sucking down on the carpet/rug, which although means a little bit of extra effort is required to push it, you know that it’s doing what it’s supposed to. I have other cordless vacuum cleaners where the head is so light and no matter what power you have it on, it just wanders about where it wants to! This stays stuck to the floor!!
It comes with 2 x filters and a filter cleaning device which is so simple to use and a very nice touch. I’m left handed, to I do get a blast of air hitting my arm when using the device, but if you are right handed, not a problem – on hot days, it could be quite a nice feature in keeping you cool whilst you vacuum actually I guess!!
I took a punt when purchasing this because it’s not particularity cheap when compared to some of these other cheap Chinese vacuums, however, I do believe that it paid off and I am more than happy.
Excellent value, Great Vacuum
As a Dyson customer I took some time reading up about Tineco before deciding to buy. WHICH gave this vacuum a good review and the Amazon reviews also good so I decided to buy. Great value especially in the Boxing Day sale, considerably cheaper than the Dyson equivalent but just as good if not better. having two batteries and great suction the biggest bonuses ! Not as light as the Dyson but having a trigger switch that can be locked on makes it comfortable to use. Great additional attachments and I also purchased the extra attachments which are not available on Dyson machines. Having a Labrador being able to get under furniture easily really important.
Cannot fault the suction, even on lower setting cleaned just as well as the Dyson on full. Full setting on lounge carpet lifted the pile and left carpet looking very clean. The light also handy for catching the hidden bits.
Delivery within 24hrs on Prime.

Watch for the erratic pricing, but a great little machine
My old Dyson handheld died and I knew I didn’t want another machine where I couldn’t replace the battery. The addition of 2 kittens, and their associated litter trays, to our household prompted me to start looking at all sorts of handhelds/stick vacuums. I saw this brand recommended somewhere and decided to take a closer look. Black Friday enabled me to purchase one for GBP197 so I stopped looking at the A12 and A10 and snapped it up. I don’t regret that decision.
Mine came with a UK plug and UK instructions. They aren’t especially detailed, but they are easy enough to follow.
I thought the light on the main head would be a gimmick, but it really is useful- it makes it so easy to spot crumbs and dust in darker corners! At normal operating level, it is quiet enough not to terrify the kittens. It seems to work as well on hard floors and carpets and is easy to empty. I particularly like the fact that it comes with 2 filters (so you can swap them over and then vacuum the dust out of the other).
Other pluses? I like the fact that you don’t have to hold the “on” trigger down all the time (you can just switch a lever to leave the trigger on). I love being able to wipe/rinse the outer filter quickly and just swap the inner filter over (my Dyson used to take an age for filters to dry). I seem to get ample time from a battery charge, but batteries are easily swapped if you need to do a big clean. I also like having indicator lights to tell me how far through the charge we have gone. The little hair remover gadget is a clever addition.

Fantastic machine so far. This was replacing a Bosch 25.2v athlet which probably beats the A11 ever so slightly on suction power and carpet performance alone – but really only ever so slightly, which is to be expected as it does have a few more volts.
Other than that the A11 is superior in every way:
– Its lighter and far easier to maneuver but the head doesn’t wobble like some of the cheaper machines out there.
– Performance is great on solid floors and carpet.
– the two slip on batteries are what all vacuums need; it was the battery that died on the Bosch and it meant we had to chuck it, (it started to die literally about a week after the warranty expired – I offer you my middle finger Bosch xD )
hopefully in a few years all we’ll have to do is get a new bat when the A11 starts having trouble.
– Accessory pack items are great.
– Adapters and heads are very easy to swap and change (Bosch was a nightmare attaching the stair cleaning kit)
– The two filters and the filter cleaning device works really well – just make sure you operate it over a bin, sink or outside when swapping them out.
– The wall mounted base is also nice – especially with the extra head/accessory mounting points , however you really do need to wall mount it – its not designed to be plugged in anywhere and left on the floor, so consider a space to install it first!
– Easy to empty – just know that if you do fill it right up to the neck you;ll have to also remove the filter bracket to get all the dust and junk out from around the top portion of the bucket – which is easy enough to do with one hand (about a one inch turn on a captive ring base)

Great hoove
Early indications are that this is a brilliant cordless hoover. It’s quiet but still has good sucking power, able to pick up crumbs and bits off my wood floors. It has all the useful attachments without fussy extras. I find that a single battery outlasts my typical jobs, however it’s few that I’ve seen which includes two batteries, so you’ll always have one charged in reserve for larger tasks. The lights on the floor head are a nice feature that lets me see what I’m doing. Finally, the company’s founder didn’t back Brexit then abandon ship to Singapore. I’ve given it five stars because I think it’s excellent, but there are a handful of things that could bring it even closer to perfection: the floor head doesn’t steer as well as some I’ve used; the trigger lock is a bit awkward and seems fragile – I would prefer a push-on/push-off trigger; and the wall hanger, which does a good job of keeping everything together in one place, is a bit large and inelegant.
