You can literally transform your garden just by simply adding these decking lights! They are smaller than I expected but once installed they are your average size decking light! I had my husband install these as he’s an electrician and he found it relatively easy but i would have no idea how to do it myself. However, my garden now looks amazing at night time, and perfect for garden parties!

These were a bit fiddly to install on some outdoor decking, but that may be because I’m not really a diy guy.

Once done they look great and having them as uplighters (you could put them anywhere, of course) really adds a nice look to the deck.

With the weather getting cooler now we’re not likely to sit out so much, but for warm summer evenings these will give a lovely glow. Something to look forward to for next summer.

My wife is interested in beautifying our garden and she really gets excited having these eco-friendly LED deck lights. They are really creating pleasant atmosphere around our home.

You get a 6 pack recessed floor spotlights, 1 (8W) LED power supply and a user manual in the package. These deck lights have warm white light colour, and their colour temperature ranges from 3000-3500K.

They are made of high-quality stainless steel and integrated plastic metal design which make them durable. This kit of 6 lamps has an 8W power adapter which enables you to connect 4 to 6 devices and the length between the two lamps is 1 meter. If you want to increase the distance between the lamps, you can buy extensions.

It uses LED SMD technology, so it is perfect for both interior and exterior decorations. We personally use them outside around our decking in the back garden.

Compared to my other deck lights, they are really creating an impressive lighting, although it would have been better if the control switch was included as you must purchase it separately so it will be more costly.

All in all, these lights are a bit expensive, but they look fantastic once installed.

I have tested a few of these sets and am using them indoors and outside equals well.
This set of six LED light units comes complete with the power supply ready to be installed. Each of these light units simply screw inline to the next light and so on, you can also add more of these kits together for extra lighting if needed so long as you don’t exceed the power supply rating.
Looking at this kit, each of the light units look very well made and are sealed against the elements for outside use. Once the lights have all been linked there is a final cap supplied that fits over the last cable outlet to keep the wiring water tight. Fitting is very easy to do, just drill out the holes using a hole saw and then I use an old wire coat hanger to help me pass each of the cables through to the next hole and connect them as I go, if you have access to the rear of where these are being fitted then it’s even easier.
When turned on these have a lovely warm to daylight white tone that is bright enough to light up the decking area but without blinding you as you look towards them.

We are revamping our garden so I’ve been on the lookout for good LED decking lights for the steps, and this pack of six fits the bill nicely. The lights are straight-forward to set up and fit. All the fittings between power cable and control are push fit and they are also expandable because of this, and you can buy individual lamps to extend as your needs require.

To fit they need a 35mm hole drilling and then push in, you need access under the decking during fitting to out all the electrical wiring in place as you need to push the light in and then connect. The light fitting itself including the outer ring is approximately 4.5cm with the bulb area being approximately 3cm, so they’re quite small and unobtrusive. When fitting the lights themselves they need to be 3 metres or less between lights, but the standard cabling provided is 1M, and you can buy extension cable if required.

This site doesn’t come with a remote control, although apparently you can purchase one additionally, although I couldn’t find this on the Amazon shop front. You can also fit a dawn to dusk device to it so they would come on at dusk and go off at dawn, so there are options, but if you’re wanting fancy lighting patterns the ability to dim and set timing then you’re probably better off buying a pack with a remote control already included, which will of course cost you more.

So for 32.99 these are fair value on the current market for LED decking lights, in fact I’ve been surprised quite how expensive somebody’s decking lights are! Especially when they come with remote controls and apps. I don’t need all the widgets and am happy with basic lights that I can switch on and off when needed, so this set is ideal for my needs, and I am happy to recommend.

I fitted these to my planter made of decking and it was pretty easy, I drilled 32mm holes as I didn’t want them super tight and the spring clips hold them in any way, once fitted which is simply a case of pushing them in the holes wiring up is simple, each light has two waterproof very well built connectors and you just daisy chain them together and plugin, that’s is basically, the remote control works great, all in all, 5 stars from me, easy to fit and look great.

For many, summer time is a time for bringing a garden into use. With the flowers blooming, the tables and chairs on the lawn there is only one other thing needed…. lights!

The thing with lights is that many associate them with the warm summer evenings, sat at the table, sat down on the lawn, having a few drinks and some nice lights to enhance the environmental ambience. However, others don’t see summer as a seasonal lights event as they know lights are just as good, if not better, in the winter months. These decking lights are a good example of that.

Wether it is the height of summer or mid-winter white and blue lights work very well and a garden is for all year round use, not for only one month in the summer.

These lights are good embedded into decking , around patios, in fencing and in fencing rails. Basically, anywhere you can bore a hole and one of these lights will look good

Although these decking lights do a good job they work even better with a few string lights and maybe a few solar lights stuck in the flower beds etc.

There is only one tip I can give when installing these lights and that is to use a little silicon adhesive inside the hole and around the edge of the lamp as heavy rains have been noted to be a problem with decking lights as the bored holes will not be tight enough to prevent water seepage. So, a little silicon adhesive in the top of the hole and a little around the edges of each lamp will make these water tight. The best thing about silicon adhesive is that it’s easy to remove when needed. A simple cut with a blade and the silicon peels away.

I am recommending these lights as they are not too bright and yet not too dim, they are just right for patios and fences / rails around lawns / alongside paths etc. They are good quality, durable, well made and will last a long time. They go well with some RGBs and even in winter frosts they can still look as good as they do at the height of summer, if not better. These are good value and they tick all my boxes on the quality.

These are simple enough to set up, you basically start by connecting the weatherproof power brick to the first light then daisychain them from one to another. The only thing you need to ensure is that the mains plug is inside a weatherproof socket or similar.
The wiring isn’t particularly long, but long enough to do the job in a chosen area/application.

The power brick itself is IP rated to withstand the outdoor environment, as are the low voltage lights, but of course the power plug isn’t, hence the advice. If in any doubt always consult an electrician.

The lights themselves aren’t huge in size, I’d say about right considering where they’re intended to be used. They’d look great maybe as uplighters from decking (though I’d be weary about stepping on them so perhaps not for that purpose?) or to illuminate decking steps as shown, but also as downlighters. I’m actually considering making wooden block mounts to pop these into to create some ambient highlighting in various areas of my garden. They won’t quite be spotlights but will provide some gentle highlighting.

Overall a very good set, simple enough to set up and use and give an ample level of light.

Convenient and reliable packaging. The packaging contains product information as well as detailed installation instructions. There are 6 small bulbs in the package, they are securely fixed. It is easy to install in the instructions there is a detailed diagram of how to install and connect. The backlight looks beautiful, it is able to decorate any interior, both indoors and outdoors. Although the bulbs are small, the lighting is very good with different tones. They are well protected from moisture, so I stopped them in my garden. Very chic lighting, now my garden looks like a fairy tale. I advise everyone!
