My trees had some sort of white residue on the branches that I thought might be some kind of tree mold. I tried sprays from the garden centre and they didn’t really work so I brought this. Stuck it in a spray bottle with water and shook it vigorously to dissipate it a bit as it’s oily, then sprayed the trees. Fungus was gone almost instantly and a month later still hasn’t returned. Very pleased indeed!

Bought a plant which turned out to be infected with mealy bugs and was suggested neem oil as a more organic solution than modern pesticides.

A few drops mixed with washing up liquid and water, and a few sprayings later, and it definitely does the job! No more mealy bugs and my prayer plant is looking healthy!

Two applications done to my crop and it was goodbye infestation of mites. I personally didn’t think the smell was that nice but it bothered the bugs a lot more than it bothered me. Would recommend.

Yeah it smells but idc if it works. I tried so many things to get rid of fungus gnats – and this definitely helped But was also the worst of all the methods. After a solution of this, water, and dish soap i applied liberally to the plants. It smells bad – the gnats seemed indifferent at times – and other times seemed visibly distressed. I’m not sure if it worked or not, but I have none now. Sticky fly pads are the best method – but in conjunction with this you will be winning the battle. Good luck out there

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorks really well with the plant fly ninja sticky traps. Good value for money, add a few capfuls to warm water in a spray bottle and spray top soil but better to wipe the leaves with the solution to avoid spraying the furniture/walls/surrounding areas. Repeat the process every 4-5wks to keep pesky gnats at bay. Same can’t be said for fruit flys, they need Apple Cider Vinegar solution in a dish. It smells a bit oily but it’s not too unpleasant.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI used 15ml neem, a tiny bit of dish soap (just enough to emulsify, barely any) for 1 litre. Apparently it can be made stronger than that but it worked well for me.

I don’t think it directly kills the pests, just stops them feeding and moves them on/starves them.

Smells faintly of Walnuts, which I didn’t expect! Good value.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI used this oil for multiply purposes. As a spray for my roses, as an ingredient for skin with psoriasis (acts very quickly for even bad cases) and use it on the spider and insects bites to stop the itch and prevent infection. I actually love the smell. It reminds me of cucumbers in brine my mum used to make kind of a childhood smell

It’s a pain because when it’s cold the neem oil solidifies. But I have used it on roses, a lemon tree and dahlias, all came good. Didn’t notice the smell as I mixed it outside.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThe mix is 500ml of warm water in a salon quality mist spray bottle a couple of drops of washing up liquid, shake bottle, there should be nearly suds in the bottle, if loads of suds you have used to much soap. Then a quarter teaspoon of neem oil. A really good shake and it’s ready. Remember it’s shake and spray, shake and spray and keep shaking.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI use this in my garden, mixed with water and a little dish washing liquid. I sprayed a rhododendron covered with whitefly and seemed to have solved the problem. Sprayed on roses and the aphids are gone. Have also used it to treat rust on a willow tree but it’s too soon to tell if it has worked. The smell is quite strong but not as unpleasant as I’d anticipated after reading all the comments. Anyway, it fades quite quickly but I don’t think I’d use it on houseplants.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersOk so first of all, this stuff is PUNGENT. It’s like really hench garlic. Secondly, it’s super effective at killing bugs which is what I got it for. I normally don’t go for bug killing but they were destroying my favourite indoor plants. After a polite request for them to cease and desist with their woeful activities, which they rudely rejected, I knew I had to resolve the issue once and for all and a teaspoon of this mixed with a squirt of original fairy liquid and 1ltr of water was indeed their doom. Which they totally bought on themselves. The plants have remained bug free after one treatment for several weeks now and the smell subsided after a couple of days. I highly recommend neem oil for all your rude bug killing adventures.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersFor anyone with a problem with fungus gnats you need to do a neem oil soak to get rid of them. All of my plants were absolutely infested beyond belief. I did one soil soak and at first I thought it hadn’t worked but over the following week the flies just disappeared. I bought both the pure neem oil and the emulsifier (PINK SUN horticultural gentle liquid soap) to make the solution with from amazon. I googled ‘fungus gnat neem oil soak’ and used the quantities on a website called plantcaretoday .com. I used the emulsifier for plants above rather than dish soap as I read that dish soap can kill plants. None of my plants died with this method.
Also you can spray the leaves of your plants every now and then as a natural preventative method of keeping another infestation occurring.
Just leaving this here for anyone in the same situation I was.

Saw meally bugs on my plant, never heard of them before. Googled and neem oil was recommended for plant bugs. It arrived next day.
Mixed a teaspoon with half teaspoon of mild liquid plant soap and luke warm water. Sprayed 3 times over 10 days and looks like all bugs have gone. Also makes plants leaves shiny.
The scent smells a bit like peanut butter so i didnt find it as bad as many ppl said.
A small bottle but only need to use sparingly so will last ages.
I read it has many uses.
But for me just used on plants, and my plants are looking nice and shiny and healthy.
My daughter took it as she found tiny 100’s of tiny black worms in her house plant soil ( could be from toddler grandson keep hiding his fruit in it) she used it as mentioned above but drenched soil in in and they were gone overnight.
I also sprayed the trunk of my young cherry tree as every year ants take over and never bears fruit. It worked as this year i have cherries, so clearly ants dont like it .
    Great stuff

I bought it after we got scales on our indoor lime tree. The tree spent half a year outdoors so that’s where it had picked the parasite insect. I agree that it does have an odd smell, but doesnt put me off using it, especially as it really does work! Only used a teaspoon in a spray bottle of water (found I had to warm in the microwave for a few seconds to turn to liquid). Have sprayed my succulents that were infested with mealybugs and they seem to have gone after two applications and are growing and looking healthy again. Would definitely recommend, and will be using in the summer outside too.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usershaving struggled with athletes foot in winter for years, I have tried all the main brand creams. They work out to be expensive and takes more than 1 week for the itching to stop. Athletes foot can take more than a month to treat so it works out to be pretty expensive.

I stumbled on a youtube video mentioning neem oil and after some research I thought I’d give it a go. The smell for me isn’t that bad but my wife hates it so its not without its pitfalls. That being said I have never experienced such a rapid response to treatment. 2 days and not only is the itching gone but the redness is 70 percent reduced as well.

moving forward I won’t even bother with other treatments and will be using this oil as my goto when that nasty fungus comes knocking again.

I don’t like to use any pesticides in my garden & this was recommended to me, it is brilliant, it smells horrible for a couple of hours but this disperses. You just mix a 20% solution with water & a squeeze of washing up liquid in a spray bottle & spray any plants that may attract bugs or suffer with anything such as black spot. As it is natural & does not damage the eco system of my garden or harm animals it is just perfect & works better than any nasty chemicals

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersFantastic stuff! My anthurium was riddled with these tiny bugs, I tried wiping them off but to no avail, they kept coming back in swarms. But ever since I wiped this stuff on the leaves they’ve practically all disappeared after a few days!
Yes the smell is horrible, I mixed this stuff up with soap and water near an open window but it did still smell. After I finished putting it on all my plants it made me feel a little funny.

I bought this oil to manage spider mite infestation on my house plants. It worked wonders and I managed to save most of my infested plants. However, I do not recommend for orchids, they didn’t survive the treatment unfortunately.

I also use it in the garden to treat against aphids, spider mite and other pests. It smells rather strong but it doesn’t bother me since it’s harmless to helpful inserts like ladybirds, bees etc.

Amazing product, a bit pricey but insecticides are not cheap either. I will purchase again.

Well the product works, I don’t have any footage of the renewal process of the aloe vera I treated for, because I than decided to give it as gift, because in this new flat will never settle, better to give to who can really help instead.
I gave them the solution made with the soap and the brand new spray but I have the Neem oil concentrate with me as the soap, that I will probably save more plants or might use for different infested places .
Very interesting product, smell bad as all the products for potting and plants soils, who are worth to invest in plants and trees properties.
It might be helpful if the company will suggest to buy a bottle with a millimeter tube pump, to let take the exact amount of this concentrated product, because not everyone has the garden, as me that just treated one Aloe vera potted plant.
However; the interested person whose reading this comment could think to buy the bottle instead of waiting, the price is cheaper, but I would also pay 12 for this combo .
    Thanks again for your produc

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersThird brand of neem oil I am trying in last 3 years. Best results. Neem is supposed to help with dry frizzy hair and to slow down greying. I have a bit of stress-induced and premature greying and don’t want to dye my hair. This oil really makes my hair very soft – did right from first use. Greying, of course, I cannot comment on so early. I use it as a hair mask (over night or a few hrs during the day). I use rosemary essential oil to cover up the strong smell, and I add extra virgin coconut oil to it as well. I have long, thick hair and this one spreads well enough. Not difficult to apply. I wash it off with a gentle shampoo (I have seen that using a hair mask also protects from silicone damage since I cannot always find silicone free shampoo/conditioners) – or maybe neem and coconut are esp good at protecting? Not sure – but work well enough for me. Even on humid days my hair stays manageable, much more frizz free and the browning of the ends has gone down so much.

Neem does have an odd aroma and not one I would want to go around smelling of. I bought mine as a mixture of neem oil and water sprayed on lilies gets rid of lily beetles. One year mine were eaten totally and this year I have been vigilant at spotting them. The neem oil mix has done the trick and I only find the beetles after a lot of rain has washed it off. Neem is great for getting rid of garden pests more ecologically.

It does have a strange smell, not totally unpleasant but …!!

You definitely have to add some washing up liquid- just a bit – to aid spraying. No instructions so I guessed and it seems to be working! Horrid little fly things on my plants have now significantly reduced in my greenhouse.

Golden Review Award: 79 From Our UsersBought this as I was told it would help with a recent infestation of mealy bugs on my indoor gardenia plant.
My gardenia has been doing so well, blossoming regularly and suddenly I noticed these horrid bugs. At first I thought it was a fungal infection of some kind and left the plant alone for a few days to research. Well those pesky bugs took only a few days to infect most of my new buds! (Forgot to take photo before application so photos are from the middle of spraying)
I mixed a teaspoon of the oil and soap with a litre of water and started the massacre!! Liberally sprayed every single bud, leaf and branch. Left it alone for 24 hours and checked to see the aftermath. Surprisingly most of them were gone (I don’t know if they died or left to attack another plant but they were off my gardenia which was the main objective!)
There were a few left (some areas I didn’t reach in the middle) so these I took off with a cotton bud.
All in all a fantastic product!! It worked for what I needed it to do! I will try and use this on aphids outdoor as this is a lot gentler then the chemical sprays.
Some reviews said the oil had a strong odour but I didn’t mind the smell, I have smelt worse.

Worked on Gardenia with mealy bug infestatio
