Quality kit with good accessories package – amazing value for money – video is really good quality and doesn’t shake.

Worth the buy.

 

Cheaper but efficient, battery have longer life, simpler to operate, easy to transfer.

 

Bought one of these a year ago in our local Tescos for a tenner and while it did the job, it’s certainly worth the extra cost to go 4K.

It comes with a range of attachments and fixings for every eventuality and is relatively easy to use. It’s worth familiarising yourself with the controls before heading out to sea (or the pool) and the instruction booklet (provided) helps you with this. Came with a spare battery as well which was a great added extra.

While I’ve not used it underwater as yet (we’re wating for our holidays next week), the picture and sound quality is unexpectedly good for such a small camera. The previous 720p one we had didn’t come with as many attachments which meant we had to improvise a bit (bit of cord around the neck threaded through one of the attachments), but this one comes with a velcro strap which fits nicely through one of them and therefore around the wrist.

Delivery was really quick – I think around 4-5 days – which was great as well.

In summary, a great bit of kit for a great price and a welcome addition to our holiday luggage!

 

I was looking for a camera to shoot videos that my learner drivers could watch to help them learn, this camera does just that without breaking the bank. the image quality is good, the sound is good, there is nothing to dislike about this product. A Go Pro may have been a little better but not enough to justify the extra price, if you’re looking for a good reliable camera this si the one for you

 

This is a superb product. I have owned other action cameras, but none compete for build quality, spec, accessories or value. Most impressive of all on this is the dual screen “, which can be easily swapped by simply holding the M button. Means it can be used in a more conventional camera format or for those perfect selfies. The unit is incredibly solid and well built. Really easy to use. What is unique about this camera is the range of accessories that it comes with. Truth be told so do not yet know what they all do, but the key ones for me where the waterproof case, which can be attached to a selfie stick or a floating camera grip. Also it is fantastic that it comes with TWO batteries with a dual charger meaning you should be able to move between them and, if needed, enjoy practically continuous use. The quality of the pics and films is brilliant and much better than my expensive phone. Finally you can transfer them without connection through Wi-Fi, which makes this a very practical and easy to use product. So in short totally recommend really impressed.

If you’re planning your adventurous trip and want to take an action cam with you, to document your personal adventures, or to always have an almost-indestructible camera recording your wild experiences in the sea or the mountains, then this inexpensive action cam might just be what you’re looking for!

If you refuse to pay the steep price of a ‘GoPro’ or another ‘named brand’, and as long as you don’t require niche or specific brand features, this is a great, more budget-friendly alternative that offers 2/3s the performance and 1/3 of the price.

For image/picture quality and framerates; the camera can capture up to 3840×2160 (4K) at 24fps, and the highest frame rate mode is 120fps at 720p. (Recording modes: 4K 25fps/2.7K 30fps/1080P 60fps/ 1080P 30fps/720P 120fps/720P 60fps); all Photo resolutions: 16MP/12MP/8MP/5MP/4MP).

The action cam has built in wifi, which allows the camera to be set up and tweaked from a connected device (phone, etc); settings can be adjusted through the app, and it allows the camera to stream the video feed directly to your phone/tablet.

There are 2*1050mAh removable batteries included, which although the battery duration obviously changes significantly based on what the camera is doing, can last up to roughly 180 minutes when recording 1080p, and when recording in 4K, the battery can last up to around 90 minutes. Being removable means that you can super easily and quickly replace one during battery with a fresh new one to double your recording time!

This 4K action camera is a great budget way of documenting your wild holidays or adventurous lifestyle, whether it’s surfing, diving, cycling or hiking, this little camera hasn’t missed a beat throughout my pretty rough treatment of it, and unless you need very specific features or want huge capture quality, it is great value compared to certain ‘named brands’ out there!

Bundled in the box is a variety of attachments and mounts, and best of all, a double battery charger, so at the end of a wild day, you don’t have to worry or faff around with remembering to swap batteries on the charger in the middle of the night! Outside of the case, the camera is tiny, like most action cams, and inside of the case, it will more than likely survive being dropped, thrown, smashed into, etc.

Bought this camera to capture family moments that I can’t capture with my phone (like in swimming pools or while doing outdoor sports).

First impressions: very solid build quality. The camera has some weight to it, and all of its ports have rubber-sealed covers. Image quality of a camera is the most important aspect. This one can record up to a resolution of 4K, but you can also set lower resolutions to save space on your microSD card (2.7K, 1080p, 720p). When using lower resolutions, you can pick faster frame rates (ideal for sports). It supports 1080p at 60fps and 720p at 120fps, ideally for slow-motion shots.

It also has electronic image stabilization (EIS). I took the camera for a bumpy bike ride, and the image is relatively stable. Of course, you can add additional stabilization afterwards, but the built-in EIS is decent!

Make sure you buy a big and fast microSD card to go with this camera. To give you an idea: my 16GB card can hold 58minutes of 4K footage and 2,5hours of 1080p footage. A class 10 microSD card should be sufficient for 4K recording. If you have a slower card, the camera will show a warning. This is very nice, because my previous one would record anyway and the video files would be corrupted.

The camera can be connected to a smartphone via WiFi and a special app. While it does work, transfer speeds are a bit slow. It’s mostly useful to monitor the camera. There’s also a USB port to connect it to your computer. You can even use it as a high-quality camera for streaming. In my testing, it worked flawlessly with OBS and I will also be using it to record some of my online courses.

Battery life is okay. I was able to record a 3 hours long timelapse (4K, 1 image per second) and still have battery left. You also get two batteries with this camera, so you can swap batteries and keep going.

The front-facing display is useful for when you want to capture selfies or want to check if everything is in frame for a timelapse.

And finally, the camera comes with a lot of mounting accessories, a waterproof case and the camera itself has a standard threaded hole at the bottom which you can use to attach universal camera accessories. I was able to use my tripod without problems.

Overall: great value camera for a low price!
