Good value
I use green oak quite a lot. This a very useful gadget and the colours make it look like a stun gun. Seems accurate but I’ve only used it on pedunculate and sessile oak. Easy to use.
Works perfectly
I was sus about a wall being damp. This handy device proved I so and found alllll the other damp patches as well. Top marks.

Excellent hassle-free device and worth every penny IMHO. Instructions clear and concise, so very easy to set/operate. Used daily for testing dryness of logs for burner that have been brought indoors after seasoning in sheltered outside storage area. Makes the whole process of log burning and kindling fire a pleasure.
Paid for itself after the first use
Decided we needed a new caravan so went to view a few and saw one we liked, but had some suspicions there was some damp issues.
Bought this, went back for another view with intention to purchase and hey presto! There were some damp issues.
This item saved quite a few thousand pounds in repair bills.

It’s simple to use with a clear, easily read screen. My issue is that it has 8 ‘calibration levels’ – different scales for different types of timber. There is a fairly extensive printed table (which will be lost or damaged) and a reduced table printed on the actual meter, itemising which scale to use for which wood. The problem is that they are North American and only a few of the types I actually come across in the UK are listed. Testing a single piece of wood against each of the different scales varies the results by up to 8% so to be safe, I have to assume the worst result and discard what may be perfectly good timber. If the meter was provided with a table of European woods (and the relevant scale to use for each), rather than North American, I wouldn’t hesitate to give it 5 stars
Really easy to use
This item is just so easy to use. Simply select the appropriate mode and check the readings. If you don’t know anything about dampness testing there are plenty of YouTube guides out there

A very accurate meter which k checked using an industry standard meter costing hundreds of pounds. Recommended.
Better instructions needed.
I didn’t find it easy to understand the instructions. The ‘Hold’ button did not seem to keep the display showing the reading taken.
More basic and straightforward information for a novice is needed.

good for firewood
great for checking the firewood suitable fire or not . take out all the guess work . I have some firewood that a bit wet . first check over 30% . a day under the sun 13% . definitely working . also good for the price .
I used the product to check moisture levels in my loft timbers because some scam company said the moisture level was dangerously high and it turned out they were completely false.

Haven’t used it yet but looks really easy to use and like that it is set up to measure moisture in any amount of different wood. Will try out soon and update.

Easy to read, robust and good value.
Decent moisture detector, for a fair price. Does what is says, screen is easy to read and simple to set. Nice and light with a buzzer warning alerting to dampness. I use it on wood to make sure it’s dry enough to epoxy or wet enough to carve. Works a treat and is fairly robust for the price you won’t go wrong.
Great for checking leaks behind skirting boards.
I can’t comment on the accuracy of the actual numbers shown, but we knew we had a leak inside a cavity wall and this easy to use tool was great for just prodding different bits of skirting board and getting a feel for how far the leak had spread.

As good as the contractor’s uni
Following a recent flood, we have had to do regular moisture readings for our insurance. Finally, a professional was sent to verify the readings. This unit measured exactly the same as the pro unit.

Excellent product, can test the moisture content in my logs before putting in wood burner. So simple to use at a superb price
Out of curiosity I thought I’d try it on my property. I had a flood with water coming from a burst pipe in the attic. Went around my rooms testing corners etc and all OK, went to the kitchen and testing behind the steel sheet by the cooker. Alarm went off so I took the sheet down and it was still damp after a long time after the flood. Cleaned and let it dry and the reading became normal. Great tool as the insurance assessment didn’t pick it up. Recommend.

Product was relatively easy to set up and used in an assessment of dampness in a house.

Bought this to measure moisture levels in a toilet extension suffering from condensation damp. The meter is easy to use, and gives helpful readings. I had no trouble removing the protective cap. It seems ideal for our purposes.

I used it to measure a damp patch on a plaster wall. Obviously I can’t really vouch for the accuracy without a ‘control’ but it showed that bit of wall had a lot more moisture than the other walls.

Have various seasoned logs around the house and helps to know when low moisture so can put in the log burner
You have to use the calibration each time which is annoying but not a big inconvenience

Best for its price
I bought this on the strength of positive reviews from around the web. I was prepared to spend more than this tool but I was very impressed with its functionality and accuracy in a working environment. In practical terms working with timber (in my case) it’s evidently been calibrated well within the necessary tolerance for my needs. Recommend for on the hoof testing and assessment.
Easy to use
I used this product to test the dampness on the outer walls of my property, due to some growth of some mildew.
Quick and accurate to use, clear and easy to read screen. would have been nice if a protective case came with it instead of a cloth bag. but on the whole a good device.

I bought this at the end of August 2021,to test timber I want to burn in my new back boiler stove. The timber has to have less than 20% moisture. I’m a plumber and it helps me to find leaks as well.

Bought for my husband he says it works well does the job.
Absolute must have if you’re buying a caravan. Stopped me from buying 4 caravans that were stated as damp free but this little gadget told me otherwise use it to check everywhere, audible beep can be heard when damp found even if you can’t see the display well worth the money and more !

Brilliant piece of kit. I was able to isolate a damp patch on my wall to the outside chimney area. Now getting it capped. Will be able to monitor the damp level as it reduces (hopefully)!

Bought to use for testing the dryness of wood for burning on Log burne
I know that I have a damp problem on two walls that I am trying to solve so I bought this device to keep a track/assess the problem. It is easy to use and gives what I presume to be accurate readings. It flatlines on the dry sections of both walls and displays around 20-25% on my damp sections. Goes up to 30% after prolonged rain so I know I have water coming in somewhere. Excellent tool, all I have to do now is find the leak!
Had some damp logs that got wet due to our garage roof having a couple of leaks!
Dried out a bit and works brilliant for us knowing when the logs are dry enough to burn!

Well designed mete
Just received and switched on the Azuno moisture meter for the first time.
It seems well made, the instructions are comprehensive and clear and the quoted accuracy excellent – far better than I really need for checking if my firewood is dry. So far IO’m very pleased with my purchase.
Damp mete
Fairly easy to use. However it was bought to check for damp & thats exactly what it does.
It mentions wood and brick, but I used it to track down moisture in the carpets in our car. I can’t comment about the accuracy, but I suspect great accuracy is not required for many people anyway.
If you have any moisture around the house I’d say this is worth buying.

Tried another brand which was hopeless and returned. This is great shows the damp area in our room is more limited than we thoiught so good news. Easy to use and hold.

Great handy product, I use it before purchasing timber from a wood yard, comes in a toggle pull sunglasses style protective sleeve and a small compact cardboard box great for storage. Well made, accurate, easy to use
Check for damp
The meter works well, difficult to get the probe cover off for the first time but good now, used it to check walls and wood furniture to ensure we have the dehumidifier in the correct place.
Bought to check on moisture content for wood for my stove. It has been great at identifying when wood needed a longer period of drying / seasoning – not always easy to guesstimate by look or weight alone. Nice clear display and a beep / flatline when excess moisture detected. Would recommend.
The product was simple to use however you need to keep the calibration chart sheet for accurate measurements. Possible the sheet could come as a laminated card.
It’s difficult to state with certainty that the device is truly accurate. However, I took trial readings around a building I know well and the meter gave high readings where I knew there was damp and low readings in areas I knew were dry. I then used the meter to demonstrate to someone convinced her house has a rising damp problem to show that it realy hasn’t. She has condensation caused by a cold wall and poor ventilation.
