It was for my granddaughters Nintendo as the original plug is lost in the house. Decided to get her another one till original one is found. Did the job perfectly and was good value and quick delivery.
After my puppy chewed my original nintendo plug I needed a new one but didn’t want to pay nintendo prices… this works just as well as the real thing and is good quality

works exactly like our other charger just a pain to unplug it from the dock behind the telly when you want to play in another room or in another house
work’s 100% with my switch. charges up at a normal pace and i can still play my switch when it’s plugged in. the cables also a decent length as well and it seems pretty hardy. all in all a good, cheaper alternative to the official one.
I mainly use my switch console in handheld mode so usually the only time it is in the dock is when it is charging, so having an alternative adapter for use is welcome as it means I don’t have to dig around the back of the dock to unplug it and plug it back in when finished.
This adapter is designed more or less in the same shape as the official adapter so is easy to grip when plugging and unplugging it from the mains socket.
The USB connection is obviously for a USB-C which is the same as my Steam Deck. When using it with the Steam Deck it charges at the same rate as the official adapter, and the same is with the Nintendo Switch.
Overall, a nice replacement/additional charger that works on more than the Nintendo Switch.
First impression:
The charger comes in a plain carboard box that is recyclable, with a glossy outer sleeve. The charger has a USB-C type connector and outputs are 15V at 2.6A and 5V and 1.5A. It is capable of running a Nintendo Switch even in TV mode. It was a good touch to see that the USB-C connector is provided with a protective cover.
For just under 16 it is really good value. The wire has a strain relief at both ends and is long enough at 58″ or 147cm including the USB-C connector. Everything seems fine with this plug and is carries all the certifications including UKCA, CE and FCC. It is therefore certified for Europe and the USA and will work at voltages between 100V and 240V. Great for going on holiday further afield provided you have suitable travel adapters.
Everything works as expected with the charger and I tested it with an original Switch. The key about this is the ability to run the console in TV mode, which is does successfully.
Conclusion:
This power supply would make a good replacement for an original one that has failed. When we go on holiday, my daughter complains about having to untangle the wires for the Switch that she likes to take with her and I can get her point as they are all behind the TV and plugged into wall sockets. We got hold of a portable Switch dock for this holidaying but without a power supply. This charger makes it a lot easier as it can just stay out and ready to go, for holidays or if she goes round to friends. It is a big thumbs up from her and therefore gets 5 stars from me too.

This charger is great! Good length of wire so you can play on switch whilst charging if desired. Also seems to fast charge my switch which is an added bonus!
This is a great Nintendo switch power cable, that powers docks to allow them to output to a display or tv and charges the switch too. So we recently bought a third party Nintendo switch dock, simply to have a dock downstairs and upstairs so we could just take the switch between the two docks to play where we wanted on different TVs, I’m not entirely sure of the technical reasons why but I did not expect that the USB C cable to power the dock would have to be the same spec as the original to allow TV output but this is the case and it is very frustrating, that is where this cable comes in.
There is not really anything overly special about this cable, it is simply a UK plug on the one end a USB C connector on the other, the important part is that it has the same power rating as the original switch power cable which ‘tricks’ the switch into allowing TV output from a dock. It does charge the switch too which is good, but I do believe the switch will attempt to charge from pretty much any USB C cable so the big selling point of this is the TV/dock compatibility which works great and it comes in considerably cheaper than an official Nintendo power adapter.
I needed a second power cable to use with a second dock we have in the other room as it was a pain removing cable each time.
It arrives in the branded box shown, on removing your meet with a well made AC power adapter which is as good as the original. The cable is a nice length well made and bends okay, the usb c port is strong well made and to be honest looks really good quality. Over all the AC power adapter looks great.
Does it work yes it charges the original switch without any issue also charges while the AC adaptor is plugged into the dock.

This costs 10 less than the OEM charger from Nintendo, but looks virtually identical and has similar quality plastics and build.
It works perfectly, which is impressive, as the switch is very fussy about chargers, and seems to charge more quickly than the official equivalent.
It keeps quite cool during use, so it should be economical in power use.
As described, it supports both handheld mode & dock station mode.
Brought as a spare for the switch, We needed a spare for when we cant locate or break the original. Really good charger on first look, connects well and charges just fine. nice long cable too which is helpful. Good 3rd party charge
I purchased this for my son and for when we go away, his original charger is set up with the charging dock which normally gets left at home so this is a great spare to take when we go away without having to unplug everything else. The cable length is good and it charges the switch as well as intended.

Another review said this does not charge the original switch but it definitely does. For some reason Nintendo decided that using a standard USB-C charger wasn’t an option and so you have to use one that is compatible with the Switch. Some 3rd party ones have even been known to brick the console. Been using this one for over a week now with no issues. Charges absolutely fine in both the console directly and also through the dock. Works just as well as the original for a better price.
Does the job for charging my Sons switch just as good as the original branded one but at a better price proving good value for money, easy to use, doesn’t overheat, fast and reliable charging locks inline with the Rey of the Switch accessories
I really like this switch charger! With my nintendo switch the battery will only last just over an hour when playing handheld and with a normal type c phone charger for example, it will only trickle charge the battery so you can’t really play the switch whilst charging it so it’s quite standard for me that I’ll sit down, I’ll just be getting into a game then the battery on the switch will go flat and I’ll have to plug it back into the docking station in order to get battery again and i can’t play it for a while however with this new charger I can now charge the battery whilst playing the switch which is really good. I also like that it has a 1.8 metre lead on it as well so I can sit and chill anywhere and play. It’s definitely a great value for money and I highly recommend
This charger is a direct replacement for the Nintendo switch one, outputs the correct amount for the dock to run and charge at the same time.
Worked well so can’t fault it.
Not a lot to say about this. It is a replacement charger for a switch. My grandkids come round a lot and bring their switches with them so I figured this would be useful as I can guarantee one of them will forget his own charger. I have plugged it into a switch and it works.
My kids are animals and seem to break everything within 5 minutes, this charger was requested as mine was broken yet again. This works, hasn’t broken as quickly as other brands and does as expected!

I got this nintendo switch charger to keep in my kids nintendo switch travel case so when we go out I don’t have to unplug the one that came with the switch off its base and I won’t forget to take it with me. The charger charges the switch exactly the same as the original charger does and just as quick also. I can’t find any negative things to say about the charger to be honest. It works well and does what it’s supposed to do.
I’ve been looking for a second charger for travelling other than the main cable plugged into the tv. Rather than going through all that hassle of unplugging every time, it’s useful to have a spare. I’ve had it for few days and so far it works well.

I purchased a spare Nintendo switch console only and then later a separate dock that did not come with a charger so I was in need of a NS AC adapter that could also be used with the dock.
This does everything I need it to do and it was a very decent price.
The length is good for where I needed it plugged in.

Charger for Nintendo Switch AC Adapter
This is a good quality charger for the Nintendo switch and all other Switch variants.
The charger itself is well made with the cable length being good at around. The cable does seem to have some flexibility so its fairly durable. the charger size is around the size of the original switch charger.
While charging the switch the charger didn’t get hot nor very warm.
I attached 2 pictures with the darker picture of the 2 (one without the screen on) being the OEM charger and the lighter picture (one with the screen turned on) being the ECHTPower charger and as you can see both being relatively similar regarding output.
Overall If your looking for a spare charger and a more affordable one then will certainly get the job done.
This switch plug charger from ECHTPower matches the same specification and power delivery to be able to charge a OLED Switch, StandardOriginal Switch or Switch Lite — while also working on both the original and OLED switch docks. I’ve tried the charger with each model successfully.
There doesn’t seem to be any weak points at the cable’s end, the length is fine at around 1.5 metres and I’ve not encountered any issues while measuring the power input when using with the Switch models at home.
Great charger. My original one has stopped working (dog helped with this) so this charges my switch great!
Great packaging even the usb c had a cap for protection. Great item!
