The suction power oh I love it it’s so powerful for the size of my kitchen which is 4mx5m. Installation was easy and straight forward for me with the help of a real size drill template, I am just a DIY person and this was my first and it came out good my wife and the whole family love it too. We had a fitted one before this transformed the look of our kitchen to a a modern look.
Great looking item, works as it says. However, a little fiddly to fit. But overall a great buy.
i use as extraction hood, it’s all working fine. Not very noises in turbo mode in open kitchen. At beginning, not aware out put the carbon filter on make it recirculation mode. It can’t recirulate with very little air flow. I think it good for recirulation, but work well in extraction mode.
Clean modern stylish looking item which comes with a template for mounting plates and screw holes. Was able to install by myself with relative ease.
Love the touch button front.
Supplied Lights are a little dim so have installed more powerful bulbs.

Fal looks very stylish. Easy to control with touch buttons. It was easy yo install as it comes with full size fan print, so just sticking to the wall and drilling holes. Very quite compare with other fans. Suction would give 4 out of 5, but I’m using filters, so without them it would be great. The only negative I can see is the stains forming from condensation next to the ventilation holes. Over all, for the price, it’s a great product.
Looks good and very powerful suction-especially good for getting rid of strong cooking smells like Indian spices or fried oil etc. I also love the timer system. Definitely worth the money!!!
Having had the cooker hood installed it lasted less than a week. It would turn itself on and produced a beeping sound which would only stop when it was turned off at the mains. Contacted customer service, who replied very quickly and when they were unable to solve the issue agreed to send a replacement. The second unit has now been installed for a week and is operating as I would expect it to.
Had it installed today and it works fine so far. Not too noisy. We removed the carbon filters because it wasn’t necessary if the vent is installed outside. It is more quiet this way as the carbon filters are not putting pressure on the motor.
I like that it’s so quiet very sensitive to the touch too

I have only used 10 times at the moment, so let’s see how it is a few months down the road

Light enough to install by one person. Template for fixing is not correct, dimensions not match unit so be aware. Top chimney cover a pain to fit.
Unit is quite compared to our old unit. Even in boost it’s not loud
The first Hood arrived with a dent on the side panel. I contacted Ciarra and they replaced it immediately. Honest company!! and the extractor fan is great,very quite and nice looking too!! So far so good.
It looks sleek and from other reviews I opted for this. After opening the well secured package I noticed two separate indent’s and was displeased. However as with another reviewer it’s location didn’t worth the return and subsequent wait for a perfect one. It complements my kitchen design and on a quick test is just right to do the job.

It is sometimes difficult to switch on; the touch screen button doesn’t seem to always respond. It is quite noisy much the same as our previous one.
It was easy to install easy to use, the suction on it is great.

Great product. Easy to install although I had to hard wire it into the existing electrical supply and buy a converter fitting for the duct. Works well and looks good.
Been searching for suitable replacement cooker hood carbon filters for a while. These fit the bill. I will certainly buy these again when I need to.
The first one that was delivered had some minor damage in transit. The seller was very good at getting a replacement sent out straight away. The hood was very easy to fit and looks great. Controls, suction and lights are excellent. Fantastic value for the price.
For the money this product is fantastic but the best part is the company behind it – I can honestly say I have never had better service from any company before!! I would highly recommend.

Hi. When installing this item today we noticed 2 of the filters have damaged mesh. Would you be able to send replacement filters please
Good performance only element that needs improvement are the lights. Either a 3rd lamp is needed or wattage increased.

I think it’s decent value for money, the overall installation was ok, instructions are not great, and I didn’t receive any brackets for the top part of the hood so I made some out of MDF.
A good touch would be to supply a fold out template to sellotape to the wall first. Good looking unit. Good bracket could be a bit more robust.

Received the item packed very well.
Initially had a problem, retuned the item, seller contacted me and resolved the issue.
After sales service is excellent, replaced the item and working perfectly now.
I’ve fitted plenty of cooker hoods and was very surprised at the Ciarra solid build quality considering other products from that area and fingers crossed it lasts longer than three years too. Product arrived in three days. Instructions poor but self explanatory job to do if you’ve got any common sense
When I first operated the fan it was clear that the fan wasn’t running free and a chaffing noise and vibration could be heard and felt. After a while the noise and vibration seemed to lessen. On close inspection it was found that the power lead had been contaminated with what appears to be paint. ! I hope that this unit is not a returned faulty item! I am having to use the hood so if you could send me a replacement ASAP I will change it and return the faulty unit. I hope this is not a sign of complete failure.

Had to buy a duct reducer as my old ducting was 100mm and this had a 150mm ducting.

The hood looks great and is easy to fit as replacement for a broken cooker hood. The only difficulty was fitting the steel chimney. It is very thin steel and was awkward to fit to the brackets close to the ceiling.

Great looking unit just fitted it metals a bit flimsy so be careful handling and fitting. Fairly loud on 3 but very powerful and lights are pretty bright.
Such great value for money! IKEA offer their own version for three times the cost. Make sure you get help with installing as it’s quite large.
Looks really well. Would have liked stronger lights in this hood as only 2 x 1.5w LED. I didn’t install it so not sure how easy it was to install.
Surprised how quiet the fan is compared to some we have seen. Looks good too. Cheap enough to replace if only lasts a year or so. Worth the money
The extractor fan is modern and has a very slick 21st century minimalist look. It appears well made and so we hope it will give us good service before we need to replace or repair it. The extractor function itself is powerful, so much so that the builder asked where we had purchased it from as he had never seen one with that much suction force on a low to mid setting before.

Powerful extractor, looks good and works well. Not sure if replacement LED bulbs are available in the UK? Good customer service via email. One of the support tabs on one of the filters was slightly damaged, seller sent two new filters once I had sent an image of the damage.

Had small problem on delivery in that the tabs on 2 of the grease filters were broken. Contacted Ciarra customer services who were excellent and immediately despatched a full set of replacements directly from the factory in China, which arrived within 48 hours.
Overall cannot fault product at present, and excellent customer service received.

The kitchen fitter installed it, so cannot review that, but it works nicely and is quiet on the first setting. Nice lights too. Only tiny issue is that the touch controls can be a bit slow to respond.
Works like it should – no complaints – easy to install.
Can be set up as either ‘extract’ to the outside via supplied ducting or ‘recirculate’ with carbon filters (bought separately) that fit on either end of the fan unit.

Have spoken to ciarra and they are replacing the damaged part.
The company that supply the extractor are fantastic also! They are very quick to respond to any questions or queries and their customer service is first class.
All in all, a 5 star product and a 5 star service!
Just fitted so cant really say how they perform. Be careful when unpacking as loose carbon particles can make a mess of hands and carpets!
