The product does what it says extremely happy I purchased this keeps your printer nicely protected when not in use and a consistent temperature when in use
I do agree access on the right hand side is not ideal for a version 3 having to feed the filament on the left but it’s not the end of the world.
I’m extremely happy with this case also purchased a small LED light that holds with a magnet on the top

Only thing is that the whole for the plug is in an awkward spot at the front, but I just cut my own at the back of it, and it works well for me.
For Ender printers with the side mounted screen like the Ender 3 S1 series, this tent is “snug”. It’ll work but either the screen rests on the right side rail or the x axis motor rubs against the side. Another 1-2 inches and it would be perfect. Good tent otherwise, I have the large one for my CR 10S Pro V2 and it’s also great.
If you have adhesion issues with materials like PETG, this tent will make a dramatic difference. I don’t really ever have adhesion issues with either of my printers in these tents and I don’t use any bed adhesives. Definitely recommended, just hope they tweak it just a big to accommodate the design trend that the Ender series is headed towards.
Bought this for my Ender3 V2 Neo printer and like it a lot. Well made and assembles easily. Contains heat from the printer almost too well as the enclosure will get pretty warm when printing and if not monitored can retain so much heat that the print can come loose from the print bed due to retained heat. I actually removed my printer from the enclosure because getting the filament out of the printer was a pain in the butt! Reason is because the unit is fairly close to the overall dimensions of the printer it is difficult to get on the side of the printer to get a straight pull on the filament to remove it from the extruder and print head. This has nothing to do with the quality of the enclosure, just with removing the filament to change colors etc.
I have not tried to drop the side of the enclosure to gain access to the filament path to see if I can pull it directly that way. Just be aware that if the enclosure is close to the size of your printer you may have trouble. I probably should have bought the larger enclosure rather than the medium size one. Well insulated (foil) and solid well sewn fabric.
Just in case anyone was wondering. I got this for my birthday with the Neo + it fits perfectly- with space to spare- on the X/Y. On the Z, you have a tight squeeze.
We’ve been printing in a small room in the house because it had fewer, if any, drafts and a more steady state temperature. However, just opening the door to the room changed the temperature, and some prints reflected that. You could see where I checked on a print based on some layering issues. Plus the fact that we had some PETG that wouldn’t adhere correctly no matter what we did.
Finally, I’d had enough. I purchased this enclosure for the Ender 3 V2.
The materials are quite tough. The insulation is relatively thick for a small tent like this. Putting it all together was very simple. The instructions were quite clear. It took a little force to ensure that all pipes were in the elbow joints, but nothing crazy. Also, some force is needed to get the tent firmly settled around the frame. Again, not much, but something to know. The vinyl isn’t perfectly clear, and there are quite a few wrinkles, although they’re going away over time. You can 100% observe the prints, but it’s not the same as looking at them without the vinyl in the way. The zippers are sturdy and work well. In addition to the front opening, which extends to the top, there are openings on the side. Most of these are useful, but there is one issue. More on that in a minute.
After construction, it was time to put the printer inside. It fit perfectly well. Even the filament guide that I had printed and attached to the printer fit neatly within the cover. I ran some test prints, and immediately saw a difference. The prints are coming out much better, smoother. Adhesion on the bed seems to be better as well.
The one issue I have with it is that having the printer in the tent makes changing filament much more of a pain. None of the access panels, top or sides, are placed in such a way that you can get to where your hands need to be to replace the filament. That’s honestly the worst thing I can say about this cover.
Overall, it improved our print quality immediately. I’m very happy with the purchase.
My Ender3 S1 Pro fits perfectly inside this. Building this was easy, it takes less than 10 minutes to fit the poles into the brackets, and attach the nylon cover. The walls are heavy duty nylon and the plastic viewing port/window seems to be great quality. So far, very happy with this.
Great for first-time printers, in that it all but eliminates warping or separation on the print bed (provided you’ve leveled the bed properly beforehand or have a sensor like BL-Touch or similar).
I was getting frustrated at my prints curling, warping, or lifting with larger flat prints, even with different adhesion settings in my slicer. The problem is where my printer is, which is in a garage next to the door leading outside, so there are a LOT of drafts in the room, especially since it’s December in NC right now.
This tent keeps the heat in an blocks the drafts, an I’ve had no problems since.
A little advice, however…do yourself a favor an pre-heat the bed an nozzle for a good 30 minutes prior to printing your slice. This will get it nice an toasty when it starts. Also some purple glue stick on the bed doesn’t hurt either (I use Scotch Purple).
I’ve yet to have any sort of adhesion problems or warping since then, no issues. For the cheap price, it really can’t be beat.
Great product. Easy to set up and fits ender 3 S1 pro perfectly with some spare room for bigger filament at the top.
I ordered the wrong size at first and the seller refunded me within the same day. I now have the smaller one and couldn’t be more satisfied!
There is no odour comming out and there are special openings for wires. I can’t test the fire proofing of this product but it deffinetly gives user that extra security when printing for long hours.
It fits very well for Ends 3 V2. Just enough room inside for the varies accessories I added. It also keep the heat trapped very well inside the container, perhaps too well. I mostly leave the top window open so it won’t melt my printer. It blocked some noise, but not a lot.

This thing is super easy to put together, but it is a little difficult to get an assembled printer into it by yourself.
Works as advertised but it will increase your printer footprint so make sure you have enough space- i didnt lol
Fits the Ender 3 pro and keeps the temperature pretty constant.
This tent keeps the internal temperatures steady over hours, fixing prints that would routinely suffer from imperfections like z-skips or delamination without it. Only complaint is that this is a touch small for the Ender 3 S1 Pro, so one has to push the display right up against the sidewall. Enough flex to make it work though.
The quality is great, and seems robust. I had to order the “L”arge size, as the “S”mall one wasn’t big enough for the Ender 5 as stated in the description. Bit of a pain, but worth it in the end for printing ABS.
Only other thing to note is you “may” need to earth the enclosure to stop any “noise” causing issues with printing (loss of connection etc) – advised by a friend who had this exact issue.
Great enclosure, works well! Recommended!
I have three printers and three of these. Makes cleanup easier and pervents the cats from trying to eat plastic scraps till I bring to the trash! Lol. I would like to add to check over the stitches on the walls well and the laminate feels firm together not sheets on top of eachother. They are not all made the same even though they might look the same! 🙂
Bought this and its great for keeping the dust away from the printer. Bought a large enclosure just in case we upgrade
I recently bought this printer cover for my Ender 3 max. Recently, the weather began to warm up outside, and now the ac is blasting 24/7. Because of this, the prints won’t stick to my printer’s bed and it’s costing me prints.
The first tent I purchased was the large tent, but it was a little too big for my needs, so I returned it and bought the small one instead. I admit, it took some adjusting to get everything in working order, but eventually I got a successful print.
I do wish to warn, you will need two people to get the printer into the tent, but otherwise, I would heavily recommend this product to anyone! My prints have never been better thanks to this tent!
I bought this as I needed a taller enclosure having moved to a direct drive head and wanting the filament on top. This is ideal for that as it’s taller than the third party enclosure I’d purchased. It has a tool holder on the right-hand side and plenty of areas for cables to run in to.
Unfortunately, the quality of the zip is poor and it has a missing tooth meaning that the zip doesn’t move smoothly and it has to be opened and closed very carefully. I’d read this in another review and taken it with a pinch of salt… All of the other official Creality kit I have purchased has been very good, but this is a step below the quality I’ve come to expect.
All in all, it’s not bad, just not as good as I’d have liked for the cost.
If the quality of the zip and surrounding material could be upgraded, this would be perfect but as it is, it only gets a four out of five stars.
It fits & works great while holding a constant heat when printing. I was not disappointed and it protects my 3d printer. I highly recommend this.

My printer is located in the high desert in a Tuff(he)shed with minimal heat. the instructions are very basic but get the idea across well enough. ordered for Ender 3 Pro and fits great even with all the accessories I’ve added on. the power cable port is on wrong side to be of any use but the Velcro flap next to power supply is sufficient to run the chord through and doubles as an air vent as cooling fan runs a bit more often. will be looking at a remote mount option for power supply and control panel in future sense they don’t need to be in that hot of an environment. clear plastic window is a bit wrinkled, but so what! it still works. all prints have turned out great since its installation, very happy with results.
I particularly like that there is an access ‘door’ on the top. I intend to place a heat lamp there to help reduce the humidity where my printer is located.
I had issues with consistent prints as the weather changed or my HVAC kicked in. Mostly with prints peeling from the bed. And I’m using a glass bed which, I’d hoped, would have enough thermal mass to offset some fluctuations in ambient temps.
In addition to the main zippered opening in the front, there are velcro flaps at various spots around the unit to allow for access without having to remove the entire printer from the enclosure. This allows for cabling to get in/out, swapping filament, or otherwise adjusting the printer. Keeps temps stable inside, keeps dust out. It does a good job of keeping stray vapors inside, as well, but it’s not air-tight. Theoretically, if you were printing something with VOCs or something with unpleasant odors (ABS comes to mind), you could rig up an air extraction setup pretty easily.
Ich habe lange berlegt, wie ich eine Einhausung fr meinen CR10 (V3) angehen soll, um endlich ABS ohne massives Warping drucken zu knnen. Ich wollte mir erst etwas Vernnftiges bauen, bin aber nie dazu gekommen, also habe ich mir jetzt doch das Zelt bestellt.
Qualitt:
Die Qualitt ist ok, aber nicht berauschend. Die Streben machen einen stabilen Eindruck und die Zeltfolie selbst scheint auch relativ robust. Den Reiverschlssen traue ich aber nicht ber den Weg, da es bereits unmittelbar nach dem Aufbau einige Zhne gibt, die nicht direkt sauber schlieen. Mal schauen, wie lange die halten. Wie andere schon geschrieben haben, ist das Attribut “feuerfest” wohl schlicht eine Lge. Derartige Falschaussagen knnte man sich auch sparen.
Aufbau:
Der Aufbau des Zelts geht leicht von der Hand. Der Zettel mit der bebilderten Aufbauanleitung reicht. Bei mir steht der (leicht modifizierte) CR10 im Zelt, die Elektronik drauen. Das Zelt hat links eine groe Klappe mit Klettverschlssen, durch die man die Kabel fhren kann. So aufgebaut, knnte es fr den CR10 auch etwas kleiner sein, allerdings bleibt die Elektronik so khl. Mein Filament ist auf einem Halter am oberen Trger und passt wunderbar mit ins Zelt, was bei einigen komplizierteren Filamenten wohl von Vorteil ist.
Fazit:
Das Zelt erfllt seinen Zweck. Ich habe noch nie erfolgreich ABS drucken knnen. Mittlerweile habe ich 10 mittelgroe Drucke hinter mir und das vllig problemlos. Beim ABS Drucken ist es ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht.
Disclaimer:
Ich sage mit den Aussagen oben nicht, dass ABS generell mit einem CR 10 klappt. Mein Drucker ist etwas modifiziert, anderes Hotend, anderer Extruder, PEI Druckplatte. Diese Faktoren knnen auch zum ABS Druckerfolg beitragen, weil das Material ggf. auf der PEI Platte besser haftet, als auf dem Creality Standardbett. Ohne Zelt klappt es aber auch mit meinem modifizierten Drucker nicht, mit geht’s ohne Probleme.
Fit perfectly for my Makergear M2, keep a very good average temperature inside.
Some stringing, but it’s probably due to the cheap PLA that is included. However, you’re buying the product for the printer, not the PLA
It requires some manual bed levelling and readjustment for the bed wheels but it’s very good. Essentially a plug and play.
Has alot of already included upgrades so it saves some money. Very good value for it’s price.
I have my 3D printer in my wood shop in the basement. This enclosure was necessary to keep any dust from getting on my machine. This has kept drafts from ruining prints and helps keep temps up four layer adhesion. This enclosure has exceeded my expectations.
Lots of room for the ender3 pro. Love the window and Velcro doors. Everything feels high quality. Super nice if you have a printer in a non heated area, this enclosure keeps everything toasty.
I primarily bought this to deter my cats from jumping onto the printer and it has done a great job of that so far.
PROS:

*Instruction book is useless as it makes no sense but the build was self explanatory
*$65 seems kinda steep for its purpose but it’s one of the cheapest I have found

Keeps the closer warm for petg. Also the added benefit of keeping dust out.. That way the rollers last longer.. Only design flaw is the side opening. Its located on the wrong side. So loading filament into the extruder is finicky.
Great product for an acceptable price. Although there isn’t a big wow factor with this enclosure it is perfectly suited for it’s purpose, functional and easy assembly. My only wants are a couple more options for wires to enter and maybe a grid or panel for mounting extras inside (lights, sensors, tools, wiring etc…) I’m sure I will get a lot of use from this and couldn’t be happier with the purchase.
Can as part of a package deal .. well made, cuts down on any drafts in the room .. With the ender 3v2 it just a bit under sized , the printer fits but there is not a lot of room to allow for doing routine maintenance with out pulling the cover off the frame ..
Fits the Ender 3v2 without issues and is easy to assemble. Wish there was some sort of material on the bottom that would reduce sliding.
I ordered the small, but I think they sent the large, as it’s much bigger than expected. I could be wrong though. Either way, this fit my Ender 3v2 perfectly, and I saw an immediate increase in print quality. I was at a stage where nothing would print without a raft no matter what I did, due to being in a cold basement, but the first print using this enclosure turned out perfect using only a skirt. Took me 5 minutes to assemble. Also cuts down on the noise a bit (not completely but still a significant amount). Couldn’t be more pleased with this
This product is great. Only thing you should know, not technically a problem, but the “hole” for the power cord is on the incorrect side for an ENDER 3, I also have an ENDER PRO 3 but can not remember if the cord is the same orientation as the ENDER 3. Not a problem though, just used a 3 foot extentions cord to plug the printer into just outside the enclosure. Works great too. Insulated, not soundproof but hard to do with a fabric material.
This enclosure works very well and is easy to set up. One thing to keep in mind though, this enclosure works a little too well. I was having feed issues with My Ender3 V2 where the grubscrew wasn’t grabbing the filament to push it through the feed tube. I figured out that the filament was getting too warm and the grubscrew was unable to feed it. When I moved the filament outside of the enclosure it fixed the issue.
Great for keeping the ambient temperature around a 3D print up. Does not reduce noise as much as I hoped it would. Definitely less annoying to listen to the 3D printer but it is still hard to ignore the sounds sitting 3ft away. Overall a good product for improving 3D prints and slight noise reduction.
It is fire proof noise reducing and looks ok so happy with this
Ok in all seriousness. I have my printer in my work shop. I NEED a cover over it to keep dust and crud away from it.
The cover has plenty of ventilation if you want or need it, there are velcro side and top flaps as well as a big zipper door in front. They viewing port will drive you a little crazy at first. The shipping wrinkles will give you a nice expressionist (excuse my art ignorance) view of your piece. The wrinkles gradually fade away (trapped heat helps).
I am tempted to take a WARM heat gun and try to work out wrinkles. This is a MINOR issues for me.
The only negative (which I knew because I read the reviews, and it was obvious from pics) is there is no flap on the left (as you look at cover) side, which makes changing filament a little inconvenient. I open zipper and drop the left front corner. Its actually easier than I thought it was going to be. I haven’t tried a filament change mid print yet.
Product is exactly as described. Well packed, and arrived quickly. Would definitely buy again.

Not too hard to setup except for pulling it over the frame, as others mentioned. You have to reallllly yank on the fabric for the last couple corners. Zipper was a bit iffy as well (got stuck when I first went to close it..) but was able to get it down and over the top bars after a bit of elbow grease.
That aside, works nicely once setup. Really traps in the heat. Cuts down on noise a bit. Can’t smell anything while it is going. I only print in PLA so take that as you will.
Kinda wish it had cable openings in a better spot (they are in the front left, but the cables all are at the back left/right depending).
The velcro openings are handy
I bought this enclosure for my Ender 5 Pro. I have to admit that before I bought it, I wondered if it would fit the printer. To my relief, it does. I had to re-orient the spool holder and unscrew the LCD display bracket, but I think the enclosure fits the Ender 5 very well. You may have to remove the front upper tube of the frame as well as one of the front vertical tubes, but I don’t think this is a big deal. I have been printing Colorfabb LW-ASA filament, and the enclosure does keep the shrinkage of the prints under control. Considering the time and expense of custom building an enclosure for this printer, I think that this ready-to-go enclosure is a good deal.
I am printing abs parts on an Ender3 V2 printer with a spring steel build plate and hairspray. All my medium and large abs parts were warping and pulling off the build plate or off the raft. I was skeptical about an enclosure and thought the price was a little too high for something that may not work, but decided to try it anyway. No more problems. Having an enclosure to keep the part warm while printing makes the difference and this enclosure fits the Ender3 V2 perfectly.
Only change is like to see is lowering the bottom of the front opening. It’s very difficult to clean in there, so I use spray can air. It’s almost impossible to get anything to blow out over the lip of the opening. That said, it been otherwise really great. I leave it open most of the time, and even with that, the temp stays perfectly regulated!
I really like the addition of this enclosure, since I mainly print with PETG. I love all the flaps and various areas I can access the printer from. My biggest disappointment with this product, is that after a month or so I already have a lot of loose threads coming down from the top of the enclosure, which makes me think it’s not going to last me a long time.
It’s nicely made, and easy to assemble. You will need to remember, the printer fits inside so you will need 2 people to lift it in. It’s perfect for printing with ABS.
The frame fits snugly into the fabric cover, the zips and Velcro work well. There is a place for the cable to pass through and various openings to allow access and provide ventilation. These all close snugly with a zip or with Velcro. There is plenty of room all around my Ender 3 Pro and plenty of clearance at the top for the filament reel. There is a pocket on the outside to store tools or a packed lunch.
The interior is lined with some form of aluminium fabric. I understand that this is fire retardant. I assume it also reflects the heat inwards and also makes the interior brighter.
I am really pleased with this as it really does all the things it should.

The cover is a tight fit on the frame so stays taut when fitted so needs a little care but otherwise, I’m really happy. And cheaper than Ebay too!
The enclosure works well to keep the temp stable in my garage while printing. I do, however have a couple of gripes with the design.
1. The side vecron flap is on the right. I don’t understand why it isn’t on the left. It’s a pain to feed filament in to the extruder from the left. Why the flap isn’t there I don’t know.
2. It could be a tiny bit wider. The ender 3 v2 screen pokes into the side and it really doesn’t need to.
All said it traps the heat in well and I know my cool garage isn’t going to impact my prints.
It doesn’t really impact noise levels.
All in all a good buy despite the flaws.
This is a fantastic enclosure for any 3D printer, or other item you want to enclose really. It is very durable, simply constructed, has multiple openings depending on if you need to feed filament from outside the machine or if you need to hold tools there is a pocket on the right side of the front opening. The best part is that it keeps that plastic nastiness inside rather than expelling it into the room. I would definitely recommend a different solution if you plan on printing in poorly ventilated areas or if you’re using more dangerous materials like ABS, nylons, etc… If you’re just doing PLA and you have this enclosure and maybe an air purifier you’ll be great!
The enclosure is, however, very costly. At nearly 90 dollars, my cost, there are definitely cheaper options. I can be a tad OCD when it comes to having matching accessories and I won’t lie in that I love having the Creality enclosure for my ender 3 pro. You can definitely craft an enclosure with similar or better features but you need to make sure you take into account your needs and the needs of your machine. If you buy this you won’t be terribly disappointed, though.
Great product, high quality, exactly what I wanted! The only issue I ran into was the hole for the power cord is on the wrong side, but it’s easy to work around.
This has been an excellent investment. When the season started to get cold, I started having all kinds of issues when running prints overnight. With this, those problems went away. The heat radiated out from the bed is captured inside the enclosure. By the time my print has reached a few cm above the bed, the air in the enclosure is warm enough to encourage good prints without lifting, warping, delamination, etc.
Fits Ender3 well. Keeps heat in, and fumes out of the house when printing ABS. Glad I ordered this instead of trying to build my own enclosure. Quick assembly.
Works great for temperature and peace of mind over fires. The front “window” is very wrinkly though. Make you wonder, what is the point of a window if you cant see through it? I would have paid more for better quality but it is what it is.
The zipper is a bit tricky to work because of the way the frame tensions the fabric. It took me a little while of zipping it over and over to stretch the canvas before it started fully zipping easily all the way.
It really helps keep the ambient temperature high and my prints are coming out much better now that there isn’t a temperature gradient between the bed and surrounding air.
It’s pretty dark in the tent so I’m going to have to install a light inside so I can actually see what’s going on but in happy with the purchase!
Bought and been using this cover for a few months now. I have a Creality 3 V2 machine – I do not recommend this cover. Power button on machine is in the back and with cover makes turning on/off a challenge. Worst by far is changing the filament – what a nightmare! The spool actually touches the top of the cover and no room to change the filament. You almost need to remove machine and add new spool then fight to get machine back in the cover box!
I may have bought the wrong cover – description should say NOT FOR ENDER 3 V2 printers!

Cons:
– Velcro on top flap is so strong it’s difficult to open the flap. I can lift the enclosure and the printer within before the Velcro will give.
– Enclosure is so light that the shell material on the bottom moves on a smooth table top from the slightest touch. It needs to have non-skid pads added.
– The rounded bottom of the front opening makes it very difficult to level the bed and get to the LCD control module. I’m guessing this was done to preserve the integral strength of the enclosure when fully opened.
– Port opening for power cord is located in the wrong place. Instead of the left front corner it should at the right rear, around the corner from the PSU flap.
I’m not using it right now, as it’s not needed for PLA in a heated room. When I bring everything into the cooler basement workshop for ABS and other filaments that need to be vented outdoors, it will be helpful, especially since my workshop is often much cooler to down right cold during the winter months.
I would recommend the enclosure for the printers it was designed for, but I believe it could never match the ease of use and controlled environment capabilities of a hard enclosure, whether bought or custom made. For the dollars spent, a good value.

– Der Metallrahmen ist kinderleicht zu montieren und die Auenhlle schnell drbergestlpt.
– Die Einfhrungen fr Strom etc.. sind ausreichend dimensioniert und funktionell.
– Einzig der Reiverschluss ist etwas billigerer Natur und neigt dazu nicht immer ganz sauber zu schlieen. Aber mit ein bisschen Schmiermittel geht das schon.
– Alles in Allem ein super Gehuse fr Creality Drucker. Mein Ender 3v2 passt genau rein. Grer darf der Drucker nicht sein. Die Filamentrolle hat aber nach Oben hin noch 10 cm Platz.
Wrde ich nicht mehr missen wollen.
– Klare Kaufempfehlung.
Setup is support simple. Build the frame and fit the cover other it. The window is a little more wrinkled than I would like but it does work okay and has been clearing up a little over time. It is pretty dark in there though, and so I used a clip-on ring light to light up the inside (ASIN B07WMRQQQ7), and that works a treat. The “fireproof” name is misleading, and even says so in the description but the reflective coating does make for a nicely lit enclosure once you add a light.
I also found that it gets a little too warm in there when printing. To solve this I have opened the top up on both side a little (just left a bump in the velcro seal on each side) and left the door open a touch (see the picture). That results in an average internal temp of about 35*C (95*F) measured with an IR temp gun.
I have always had a really hard time using the glass plate on the Ender3. Prints seems come loose and warp terrible with the air movement in my office. Inside the enclosure it works so much better. On a side note, I put a magnetic build surface on the old Ender3 and it works fantastic. Those are the flattest prints I have ever made. They can be tough to get off though.
In the end, I really think an enclosure is the way to go. Pretty much every high end printer has one and it is clear to see why. I wish I would have had one years ago. I will say that I think $80-ish is a touch high for this one, given the window quality, but it works well enough that I won’t complain too much.
If you modify your printer to hold filament spools on the left side, instead of the top, this tent will be too narrow.
Pros: light and easy to move while empty. Easy to assemble. Zippered flaps very effective keeping dust away from printer. Reduces fan noise (slightly). Cost is reasonable.
Cons: Narrow tight fit for Ender 3v2, hard to reach back and left side for some adjustments. Need an extra inch on the right for 3v2 belt tensioning knob. Need extra inch or two on left for a wide filament feed curve.
As the colder weather set in my prints were becoming warped and lifting at the edges due to draughts..
This arrived last night and already 2 X prints are back to printing perfectly.
Good quality material and keeps dust out and heat in, only small issues found:
1 – the front zipper door is rounded at the bottom and makes accessing the bed levellers a tad tight but no Biggie.
2 – the zip had some threads that were not tidied up and made the zip stick initially… I ran a lighter over these to seal them and burn off the excess, all good now
Whilst putting it together I wasn’t sure the Ender 3 would fit but it does perfectly with the filament spool. One benefit I didn’t read about is that I am sure it saves energy with the insulated inside. If the zipped front is opened during use the heat is felt.
Managed to set up the raspberry pi camera on wire strung between the supports. The unit is very sturdy and works well. The printer needs to be lifted in after the casing is built.
Easy to assemble and fits the Ender 3 Pro quite well. I have a filament guide and this just touches the side.
You can definitely feel the warmth contained within the enclosure; I can not verify an immediate improvement in print quality in PLA, but I hear it is necessary for ABS, Nylon, and other thermoplastics that require higher ambient temperatures and consistent bed temps.
This is the small cover with an Ender 3 Pro inside. Also in side is a filament box and moisture control container. It has an opening in the top and right (when facing its front) with Velcro enclosures and a pocket in the right for tools. There is a cord flap on the front bottom left. It seems to be well constructed but it was a struggle to slip over the pipe structure. The zipper seems to be nylon for the main entryway and it is very snug, not sure how long this is going to last. I would have given it 5 stars with a better zipper. This is my first weekend using it. I will try to remember to post more later. Over all, except for the extreme tightness, it works well, is study and does as advertised.
The tent is reasonably well made and goes together easily but if you have an Ender-3 Pro, the hole for the power cord is diagonally opposite of where the power cord is. Dumb !!
When changing filament you need to access the left side of the printer to be able to see what you’re doing. But the “flap” to access the side of the printer is on the RIGHT side of the tent. And no, I don’t have the cover on backwards, upside down or inside out– it’s just made backwards.
Otherwise it works find. When I need to change filament I have to take the printer out of the tent, but it beats the big cardboard box I was using before.
These enclosures from Creality are fantastic. I’ve been using them for about a month. The large one on my Ender 5 Plus, and the smaller one on my Ender 3 Pro. The best thing I ever did as an upgrade. The enclosure maintains an internal temperature between 40-45c once up to temp and shields the print from drafts. I never had much luck printing ABS or Nylon before I got the enclosures. Now it’s only slightly more challenging than printing with PLA!
Add a terrarium heater and a container with desiccant plus Temperatur and moisture gauge and you’re pretty much good to go.

A must have for ABS prints, the enclosure alone with printer I’ve been able to get to 40C maintained for prints which has made many successful prints that wouldn’t have been possible without. I have an Ender 5 in mine and I will say it is a tight fit and the controls and filament spool will need relocated as I did, it actually fits in sideways. I included a photo of the printer inside for reference. Added some lighting to enclosure and very pleased with it. Definitely recommend. I open the top Velcro home for printing PLA as the PLA doesn’t always react well if not.

Everybody wants an enclosure for their 3d printer, or at least they should want one. There are hundreds of ways to DIY something like this and I was on the cusp of making one myself until I realized that not only didn’t I have time for yet another project but the end result probably wouldn’t be as nice as this one. I think the only reason I hesitated after that moment was the price. And then, I just happened to need to switch to PETG and I hit failure after failure. Enclosure needed, enclosure purchased, done. Once I got it and set it up my first thoughts were “nice but nothing special”. But then I started to actually USE the enclosure and I was sold. This was worth every penny. The material is fairly heavy and the frame is sturdy. I like the shiny reflective lining. It retains heat well. It has a top and side door for both access and ventilation. The front entrance goes up and over the top. Access is NOT an issue with this enclosure and it is also keeping cat hair and dust OFF of my printer and prints. 🙂 It is simple yet seems well built, purposely built, and it just plain works. The only change I would consider at all is to make the front zipper go a bit deeper into the corners / not as rounded, but this is an incredibly small gripe. After using this enclosure, and I’m sure as with any enclosure, the quality of my prints went WAY up. PETG is now a dream to use. ABS is already in the rear view mirror and I’m wondering about PLA.

Adding this enclosure will inhibit some printer noise but don’t rely on it as your main silencer. Stepper Motor isolators, a better main board, swap to quieter / larger fans all help make the Ender 3 much more pleasant to be around and this enclosure is just another wonderful addition.
I also highly recommend setting up OctoPrint and everything can fit nicely inside the enclosure with just a single power wire coming out. Please be sure to check the amperage of USB lights before seeing if your Rasp Pi can power it through USB, otherwise a cheap plug in USB power adapter is what you need. Other options include tapping your Ender PSU and use a Buck Converter to drop the voltage down for 5v/12v LEDs you can hang, hook, tape inside the enclosure.

In the ideal world I wish this solution will come with some sort of external holder/bracket for PSU and a hole for the PSU cable so we could completely enclose printer with this cover. But it is more of a nit picking.
It’s essentially 12 metal rods 1/2″ diameter. And 8 plastic corner pieces. Slip it together and stretch the enclosure over it. Simple.
I know there are cheaper ways to get a cover for your Ender 3 (such as building one) but if you are ok spending the money instead of time like I was than this cover will work perfectly for you. It builds easily and your Ender 3 will sit perfectly inside it without hitting any of the sides. There are velcro openings on the top and sides, which makes getting to certain parts of the Ender easier without having to remove the whole cover. The top opening would probably also let you install an external filament holder, although I haven’t done that.
I eventually got a nice spot for the heater, but that meant I had to keep the room very toasty to get good adhesion. Since it’s in my bedroom, I didn’t like that.
I then began researching enclosures for my Ender 3. I found quite a few guides on how to make your own for cheap, but didn’t really like the way a lot of those DIY enclosures looked so I looked into the official enclosure. It’s on the expensive side but definitely works very well! It’s easy to access, has a clear area that I can watch prints from, keeps the area inside nice and toasty for the printer, and was super easy to set up!
Overall, while it is expensive, I’m very pleased with it!
