USAGE NOTICE:
- When you first use the hot plate, the appliance may give off vapours for up to 15-20 minutes. This is due to the protective substances on the heating elements. No need to worry, the vapor will dissipate after multiple uses.
- CUSIMAX hot plate has a overheating protection and thermostat, it will automatically power off when the temperature is too high. It’s a normal phenomenon. Follow the instructions when using.
- It takes about 20 minutes for the burner to cool completely, which keeps the food warm after use.
- Please don’t touch the body of the burner during use, beacuse the surface of the burner is made of stainless steel, which will cause heat conduction.
- Never use harsh abrasives, steel wool pads or caustic cleansers on any part of the hot plate as they may scratch the surface or damage the unit.

Great little part time hob
We have an Aga which we turn off in the summer, and this little hob has been great. It heats up well, temperature control works and best of all it is easy to clean. We are very happy with it and would recommend to anyone.
After using this for a short time with no problems the glass on the large ring has developed a crack

Generally this does what it says cooks food and gets hot! It does seem to cool slightly at times but I have found it to be ok as you just fiddle with the controls. We bought it as have no cooker due to kitchen refurb so it has been handy although could do with four running at the same time! Would recommend for camping etc.
Had this for a year. Had another before that rusted easily on the actual stove part not the base, well that too.

We bought this for to user for few days while renewing the Kitchen , It worked perfect .
We bought this because with the gas prices going up we wanted an alternative, plus I needed a way to keep food and dough warm, so it’s proved useful as a duel purpose item. I went for this one because I’m a lover of cast iron, and this has cast iron hob plates. The only thing I’ve struggled with is because I’m used to cooking on gas, you have to give it time before you get a temperature change when turning the heat up or down, but it’s just something to get used to, not an actual complaint.
The heat from the hobs (and they are capable of getting VERY hot) doesn’t damage the work surface below, so don’t worry about that. Just don’t put it on top of plastic, just in case.
I’ve found it’s capable also of maintaining a very low heat, so perfect for keeping food warm.
I think in terms of energy costs it’s not cheaper than the gas hobs (at the time of writing, March 2022) but that may change…
An excellent Table top cooke
I am absolutely delighted with this table top cooker. It’s easy to clean and its temperature control is very good, and a good price. Excellent I would thoroughly recommend it.
I bought this for use while my old kitchen was being ripped out and re-built. The contractor reckoned about 3 months so I needed something better than a camping stove!
It fits the bill very well and I’m getting to grips with the fact that I’m used to the instant control you have with gas, and these plates are far slower to respond despite heating up quickly. In fact it might take the 3 months for me to stop burning things and pans going off the boil once I thought I’d got them simmering.
Not a paid review. Cusimax electric double hot plate. Works well. Using as a temporary hob while ours is repaired. Will come in handy late in I’m sure. Good for the price. No problem removing the protective stickers. Will update if anything changes
Bought it solely for Motorhome use and it looks like it will fit the bill. Heats up really quickly, is compact and easily cleaned. So top marks.
However, it should be noted that it takes longer to cool down than you would expect. The addition of a temperature warning indicator would have be welcome.

Only small gripe is that the knobs turn very easily and could possibly be turned on accidentally. I’ve got over this by turning it off at the socket when it’s not in use.

Perfect for what we need
This twin electric hob is perfect for what we need it for, the heat gets going really quickly, I have 4 stars on temperature control as I’m still trying to figure out how to simmer, would be better if it had some sort of low medium high or even numbers just to help gauge.
There is a loud clicking noise on cooling which I believe is just the heat, the length of the wire isn’t very long as my kitchen is limited on plug sockets that makes it a little tricky, however I am really pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

menu with out stress
When entertaining with a complex menu, four rings is not always enough, and being able to add two more at short notice has saved complications and made preparation of my meal without stress. The finite temperature control works particularly well for keeping sauces warm.
Slow, but does the job
I would say it is good value for money, but it is slow.
Temporary cooker/ Ideal for Camping or BBQ aids
Temperature control works, and automatically stays set temperature gauge, while maintaining the heating level set, then goes into warm mode. To continue cooking you have to turn the heating dial up; cooking time is slow. Faster cooking time acheived by using Scoville non-stick pans or pots (base sizes, same as hob rings).

Good product. Came on time and in good condition. Easy to use and fit for purpose. The entire unit can get overheated so you need to be careful around it.
Fantastic product for interim use
This is an item I bought for an interim period. For the amount of time I needed it for, it worked wonders and saved me from grace a couple of times. The only downside was it took a while to heat up to the preferred temperature. But other than that…perfect for what I needed!!

I like the appearance of the product. I’ve had it almost two weeks and it works very well. It is the only cooking utensil I have and am pleased with it. I would have preferred the temperature dials to be at the front for ease of cleaning, however, this also works. Spots of liquid seem a little difficult to remove.
Great hotplate, good price
Bought this to use while my kitchen was being up dated. Reviews were mixed but it seemed one of the best. Have to say it’s been great. Takes a while to get to full heat but once there it cooks really well. Have made several meals such as omelettes, chilli, ragu, poached salmon, stroganoff to name a few. Son has asked if he can have it afterwards for his camping trips and barbecues. Easy to clean. Definitely a good purchase.

Amazing Hot Plate
What an amazing product, just what was needed. We bought this for our son who is replacing his kitchen and he needed something to cook his meals. This hot plate has been an absolute Godsend. It works so efficiently and is just the right size for a large frying pan and saucepan. A fantastic purchase! He loves it. Highly recommended.

Great wee hot plate/cooke
It is a brilliant wee cooker ideal for my situation which was I had no kitchen. It got me out of a sticky wicket ( ping meals ) cleaning wise it was easy soapy cloth and it was done. I would recommend this for anyone if u were camping with electric ( ideal )
This two ringed hob is better than my previous one and no burnt porridge either. It will turn itself off if too hot. It is nice looking and the knobs and temp lights are placed at the top which is a good idea and I do not think the markings will disappear like my other one. The only thing is that because I suffer a lot of pain that I had problems getting it out of the inner box so the only way was to cut the box as I simply could not pull the hob out of the box, but how they got it in I don’t know. Yes well pleased with it and I like the stainless steel as it’s easier to clean. YES will recommend it.

Great kitchen help
Bought to help us through a house extension whilst we had no kitchen. This has been a really useful item to help me provide family meals throughout the extension period of two months. Exhausting my repertoire of one-pot meals now but without it we would have been on microwave meals! Temperature control is a bit iffy but that’s only to be expected with a two ring electric hob but I have found it reasonably effective in cooling down fairly quickly and also managed to get a rolling boil or simmer going. Once the rings have had spills on them it is a bit tricky to clean up fully but not smoky and overall a great gadget. I am looking forward to having an oven again soon though! But I will keep using these for additional rings in the summer for outside BBQs and Christmas dinners (not this year!) when more rings are needed when we can all be together as a family again.

Fantastic quality hob
Bought this as we were without a cooker .It is very stylish and feels really good quality.It is not at all flimsy and the control knobs are sturdy and accurate on use.I have now used it every day and to be honest i dont think there will be any rush to get a cooker.This heats up really quickly and certainly chucks some heat out.I have used others before and you have to wait ages for it to get up to heat.This surpasses our expectations by a mile.

I got sticky jam on the ring and it’s really hard to clean off due to the grooves on the ring. But, not impossible

I had to replace my old hot plat and spend some time looking at different ones online and finally decided on this one, it’s well built, heats up quickly, really hot too for boiling large pans of pasta.
Extremely happy with it, would recommend highly to people who have a small kitchen like me or to be taken with you somewhere.
Well worth the slightly higher price
Faster than other electric hobs. Like the style – the look and the ease of cleaning. It is the best I have bought over the years. I don’t have enough space for a regular electric cooker. I have used this hob every day of the last 3 months and I am happy to say it has not let me down in any way. It has proved to be a significant improvement on what I had before.
The casing of the hob gets very hot.
Basic but functional. Could be easier to clean and the temperature control is not precise. The casing of the hot plate gets very hot so beware! Having said that I would recommend it for short term use.
Bought mainly for making coffee away from the kitchen – looks good, heats up very quickly, so I’m very pleased. It inevitably stays hot for a while after switching off, so it might be an idea for any future model to maintain the red light on until it cools. Only fault was a bit of marking on the stainless steel but a light application of s/s cleaner resolved that. More expensive than some alternatives but worth it for the looks.

Well what can I say…the speak silver black design is aerodynamic and very suave and modern. It Grace’s my kitchen and saves me having to put on the big cooker range to boil a simple egg. Saves time. Powerful with Safety Switch
ordered this produce to replace an old Induction Hob which was broken.
The hob is warming fast and powerful. It seems having an automatic themonitor / safety switch when the hob is too hot. The beauty of the product is having two hobs which is ideal for having hot pot. The hob is suitable for medium and small pot, not ideal for large pot.
This is a very stylish product. Mainly bought for using the pans we cannot use on our induction hob and for the time when we need to use a lot of pans. Very practical and easy to store when not in use. Heats up quickly and is easy to control. Great product at a very good price.
Very useful bit of ki
I needed two hot plates to cook whilst waiting for my new cooker. This is a really useful bit of kit. It is neat and heats up properly and you can use both plates at once without any impact on the temperature. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because if you put both plates on at full temperature, it gets very very hot underneath. It did not damage the table it was on but – if left like this for any period of time – I am fairly sure it would.

I have an Aga that’s permanently on so , if it’s high summer , I turn it off and usually eat salad or use the microwave. Getting this has hugely expanded my options. It’s very compact . Heats quickly and is very easy to use. The big advantage is that the cast iron structure of the plates means you can use any type of pan that you already have. Most hobs now are halogen or ceramic and they are much more fussy .
It would be better if it had handles because it does get rather hot And you have to leave it well alone after using it but it’s idea for occasional use .
Does it's job reliably
Used everyday for months good little hob. Nature of solid rings mean it takes a few mins to heat up and cool down but does it’s job. Only complaint is the markings to show temperature round knobs wear off after a few times of cleaning.

Great for camping
I use this for camping and it is awesome. Very portable, easy to clean and steady on a camping table. Much better than messing around with gas. You just need an electrical hook up, of course, but if you have one, or are considering one, don’t hesitate.

Excellent value for money
The product works wonderfully. The plates are a little difficult to clean, but that’s expected with any hot plate because of the dentured nature of the plate. It works at high and low heat which was surprising. It’s a really good product for a great price

I ordered this item via Prime and was expecting delivery in 4 days as it was a holiday weekend, but the package arrived next day. Incidentally, the hobs can get VERY hot on the max setting so take care the first few times you use it.
I had a problem the first one I had after couple of months one of the rings went, but their customer service was very good and sent me out a new one straight away. Really useful as our top cooker downiest work and we needed something to cook the veggies and stuff on, so this just does the job and heats things to a proper cooking temperature (not just a warm up thing like some of the hobs out there!) Really pleased with my purchase and with their customer service. You cant really go wrong with it.

Having bought a mini oven with electric hobs I found them rather a let down and therefore decided to replace it with 1 of these ceramic halogen hobs and I have to say I am rather impressed with it despite its small size it can cook all the things as good as any gas hob fried onions or mushrooms perfect simmering perfect & I must say it is value for money
I even cooked Chinese food for 3 very hungry people
I would highly recommend this nifty little 2 ring hob & if you like having a good fry up while camping make sure to buy 1 of these as you can also treat your family/ friends to a very nice plate of properly cooked crispy chips for supper & if like me you are disabled I have problems with my hands this hob is very lightweight and easy to carry and the dials / knobs are large enough to grip

Just a word of advise make sure the bottoms of pans are clean to protect and maintain the ceramic hob plates
Fast heating
Bought for my mum who is delighted with it. Heats up quickly and is perfect for her as she only needs to boil food now and again.
My personal concern is that it’s surprisingly light, so could potentially move while in use, so we set it up in a ‘fixed’ position. But she thinks it’s brilliant value and is exactly what was needed.
a top quality hotplate. Ilike the modern design and ease of use. The hotplates only take five seconds to heat up unlike my previous conventional hotplate which took ages. Also the temperature difference between cut-in and cut-out of the thermostats is minimal making it easy to cook at a constant heat. AN EXCELLENT BUY.
