Really impressed with this Dreo heater. It’s made from good quality materials, has a nice bit of weight to it so it feels sturdy, and overall it feels really well made. For the price, I think it’s excellent value.
I mainly use it when it gets a bit chilly at night or in the early hours of the morning, just to take the edge off the cold. I usually only have it on for a minute or so, and it warms the room up really quickly. The 70 oscillation helps spread the heat around nicely, and having both high and low heat settings, plus a timer, is really handy.
I even used it to help dry out my car after washing the seats, which stopped any damp patches or stains from coming back. It’s also very cheap to run, so I don’t worry about using it when I need to.
Overall, it’s a great little heater, good quality, works exactly as it should, and I’d definitely recommend it.
We bought this to go camping in our fairly thin tent to keep us warm in the evening, It was only 9 degrees but it was able to keep us fairly warm without too much noise either, it was a surprising amount of heat being pushed out. The small size meant that it didnt take up much room either which was a big plus so we didnt have to sacrifice space in the car. The timer function seems very useful and simple but we didnt use it. It doesnt feel flimsy either so hopefully it lasts. Overall im very happy with it.
Works pretty well. Have used it for 3 years now and never had any problems. Heat output is 100%. It can heat up a whole room. Light weight and compact. Can be used as a fan as well. Pretty quiet. Airflow is good you just need to clean the filters at the back regularly. However, it’s very EXPENSIVE to use. Expect your electric bill to go up.
It certainly does what it says, on the 3 preset levels it certainly packs a punch heat wise, I went for the manual setting and set the temperature left for an hour room was comfortably warm. It will switch off when temperature is reached, a on / off timer would have been nice but the auto off function is fine, set the temp, select the time required to run its in 1 hourly increments and forget it. The heater is light enough to move around stand on floor or table / desk no problem. it is not obtrusive and looks good also. At 2000W it would not run it for a long time as the cost may negate that but to run for an hour or so should be ok, so far this is the case warm the area required and switch off ideal for what i wanted. I would recommend it for this purpose.
A lovely little heater that really packs a punch. I have a fairly large bedroom and use it to take the chill off at night and in the morning and it does a really good job. It has a 500w, 1000w and 2000w heat settings depending on how quickly you want to heat a room up by. I usually use 500w setting with rotate function to save energy, I put it on and leave the room and when I return around 20 minutes later it’s nice and cosy so certainly worth the investment and purchase. I have tried my fair share of room heaters and this for its size and energy saving is certainly at the top of my list. Great little heater, lovely design and plenty of power, what more could you ask for?
Good
I’ve been using this heater for over a month. The noise level is noticeably lower than in similar models, and it heats a small room perfectly. Overall, very happy with this purchase
Calienta bien, compacto y silencioso. Qu mas quieres? Muy recomendado
Me est gustando mucho.
I bought this Dreo Space Heater for my mum, who mostly stays in one room during the day, and it’s been the perfect addition to keep her comfortable. The best part is that it’s incredibly easy to use, even for someone who might not be very tech-savvy. The remote control means she doesn’t even have to get up to adjust the temperature or switch modes, just a press of a button and instant warmth, which makes it super convenient.
The oscillating feature is fantastic—it spreads the heat evenly around the room instead of blasting one spot, which means no more cold toes or chilly corners. The thermostat is easy to set, and I love that it automatically turns off when the room reaches the desired temperature. It’s reassuring to know that my mum isn’t going to overheat or have to fiddle around to get it just right.
The heater is compact but powerful, and it heats up the room quickly without making a lot of noise. It’s also lightweight enough that my mum can move it around if she wants, which is handy if she switches between rooms. Plus, it’s got safety features like overheat protection, which gives me peace of mind knowing she’s safe while staying warm.
If you’re looking for an easy-to-use heater that’s great for keeping one room toasty without any fuss, this Dreo Space Heater is a fantastic option. My mum is happy, warm, and comfortable, and I’m happy knowing she can manage it all on her own.
Hzl, kaliteli ve pratik.
Uzaktan kumandal, isterseniz saa sola hareketli mod kabiliyeti var vantilatr gibi. alma sesi ok yksek deil, bizi rahatsz etmiyor. 3-5 dakika ierisinde en az 1-1,5 derece yukarya kartabiliyor. Kapal balkon iin aldm. ok hzl styor ortam.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this little heater. I have a wall mounted oil-filled electric radiator. And when it’s cold in the room, it takes ages to heat up and then to radiate to the room and I’m left cold for a long time – I bought this little guy to fill that gap – so I could get instant warmth while I wait for the radiator to kick in.
It’s filled the job really well! While it does draw more energy than the wall-mounted one I have (that costs about 33p/hour and this is 46p/h at H3(1.6kW) or 30p at H2(1.1kW), or 27p/h at H1 (980W) – it heats so much more efficiently with the fan, and I can move it to where the heat is needed .. thus heating *me* up quickly… I can even stand in front of it if I’m really cold.
The remote control must be aimed quite accurately, but it’s wonderful for when you don’t want to get out of bed to turn it off or on.
The fan at level 3 is fairly loud, and I find I need to turn the telly up quite a bit, but it also sends the heat further . I tend to keep it at H2 except when I need lots of heat faster.
– It’s very easy to pick up and move about, even when it’s hot, as it has a cool handle at the back
– note that it also has a washable air filter at the air intake at the back.. so that’s cool.
Things to note:
– The front grill is metal and does get quite hot! don’t brush your leg/arm up against it ! Be sure you keep synthetic things away from it – they’ll melt
– The oscillating feature is nice when you’re trying to heat up a bigger space quickly, but note that when you turn it off, you can’t move the central fan back to the middle so that it is aligned properly by hand, you need to click ‘off’ at just the right time
– the heather will turn off if it is knocked right over – or indeed tipped over more than about 30degrees. But less than 30 degrees tilt and it will keep running.
– when you turn the heater off, the fan keeps going for 30seconds to blow away any residual heat, this confused me at first, but actually it’s a nice feature and the unit is cool at the end .
All in all.. I’d say I’m extremely happy with my purchase. I’m glad I didn’t go for the cheap white plastic models.. although I have one like that in my bathroom.. this one seems much more robust and safe, seems to warm faster – and frankly.. it’s just much more stylish and modern to look at.
Good output fro small appliance
This sits under my desk in a cold hallway. I don’t need it to heat room just toes and it is very efficient. I don’t think I will need it on for long periods.
Saved so much on heating
Our underfloor heating is very inefficient, and was proving expensive during the high utilities costs last winter. This thing saved the day! Localised heating at a fraction of the cost. Auto turns on/off to achieve a certain room temperature.
Great heater for smaller spaces
Have been using this heater for the past few weeks to take the edge off the chilly mornings/evenings.
It’s really easy to use – controls on top of the unit as well as a remote. Warms my bedroom quickly and I don’t even have to get out of bed to turn it off!
Unit itself is well built and feels solid. Remote is also good quality, too.
Most of my rooms are about 4m x 4m and it heats them up no problem.
Bought this in order to help an elderly person who does not want to put her entire central heating on just to warm one room. It’s small and compact, quiet and powerful and it’s got a remote control which is a really good idea for the elderly who find it difficult to reach plugs etc.
Great little heate
Great little heater. Puts out a lot of heat – warms our living room very well. Probably not suitable for a large room. Not noisy and if used on eco it turns itself off at the required temperature. I’m not convinced that the temperature is accurate so if it turns off and it’s not warm enough I just turn the temperature up. I’m not sure of the running cost per hour but my pay
as you go electric has gone up around 5 per week . (I’m using it about 8 hours a day). Would recommend.
Seems decent...
Has replaced a much older and larger PTC heater and it’s doing fine keeping my conservatory over 10 degrees. The temperature gauge really isn’t accurate but once you find the right temperature using a decent thermometer it will keep a stable room temperature. So mine’s currently set to turn on at 17 degrees which is actually about 11-12.
Just the job
Bought this as a backup heater for my caravan with a view to using it in the awning if needed. First use the caravan was warm in 5 minutes and kept it warm until the caravan heating warmed up enough to take over. Looks great, works well and i’d recommend this to anyone.
Great little heate
My rooms pretty small but even for medium and large rooms I’d say this is pretty good. Heats my room up from 17 to 25 in under half an hour on low settings. May take a little longer for large rooms but it’s a very good heater. Glad I bought it. Gonna be nice and warm this winter.
Small but powerful!! Find that it will help keep warm in winter.
It has 3 different levels which determine energy used. 900 watt. 1000 watt and 1500 watt. It is very simple to use and compact!! Can carry or take it anywhere. It is stylish as well.
The reason I purchased this is, because we have a room that has an old style heater and well for me it uses 2000 Watts and doesn’t come close to how this warms the room.
I know most people might understand watts, but I work in a gas and elec company and well the difference between this 1000 watts and 2000 watts is huge, double the price. So if you use 2000 watts of electric that is 2 kwh per hour whereas you can double the time on for the same amount with this.
In the end I will use this on 1000 watts for 6 hours a day which in Ireland is 0.42p/kwh. Meaning per month I’ll spend 274 for heating rather than double that. I guess I want to try help people save money so if you read this and think everyone knows this? Some people don’t.
This is a great buy if you need to cut back and save energy. It has a eco feature that switches between outages to heat rooms by recording the surrounding temps as well. For the price I do believe it is the best you’ll get if you want something more on the stylish side at the same time.
Great product. Would highly recommend for a smaller size room whilst working etc.
Great little heate
I am very pleased with this heater. It is a great little gadget which heats my room well.
First class
This is a fabulous little heater with a big capacity.
Easy to use with plenty of settings and cheap to run
Cannnot fault i
Dreo Space Heate
This item was a gift to a friend who was impressed with the unit I have in my home. My sister has also purchased the same direct from Amazon.
Great purchase!
Due to the cold weather and the cost of living rise in the UK, we needed a small(ish) heater to keep our offices warm during the day rather than put the heating on for the whole house. This heater from Dreo packs a punch and can easily heat a whole bedroom in less than 10 mins on its medium setting. On average its costing us 7.5p per 10 minutes to run on the medium setting, which is a lot cheaper than the central heating. Only downside is the snooze timer is in hourly increments – would be nice to do it in 30 min ones.
Great product for the price.
Bought this to heat the room when working from home. It’s very compact and easy to use but would struggle to heat the room sufficiently. It’s great a local heat source though and handy to have under the desk to keep warm.
The dreo heater is awesome!
I have to give the dreo heater the full 5 stars because it runs on eco at 18oC under 50p a hour saves me lots money i highly rate this heater it also gives a lot heat when you need it up a bit very happy
So good I bought a second one for elsewhere in my home. For a small unit it heats up a room in no time and the eco function means I’ve saved a fair bit on my energy bills too.
Great style…modern and sleek. Quiet fan but sadly does not warm the room quickly. My room is fairly big so probably will warm smaller rooms efficiently. The wattage is too low. Infact I’m not sure what the wattage is.
I love this heater don’t be fooled it might not look like it heats much because it is so small but it does. I love the design of it as it is modern and blends well into the furniture. My friend visited me the other day and she was pleasantly surprised as she said it looked like a speaker rather than your normal looking heater and gave a lot of heat out. I would recommend this heater to all. It is sleek and just love the overall design so much so I went on to buy the bigger one for our hall. I have to admit I had never heard of the name Dreo but so glad that I purchased it. 20/10
Works well
We have used this in two fairly large rooms and it brings the room up to a comfortable temperature fairly quickly. Happy with it.
Super good
Looking good, Heat output is amazing & not noisy at all.
Great little heate
Bought for my daughter to heat her room. Works really quickly.
A very good heate
It warms my space very well and quickly, it has useful modes and the remote control works very well. It shoots its heat upwards/diagonally as opposed to straight ahead, once you know this you can position it to get the max benefit – highly recommended
Powerful little electric fire
Compact electric heater that can blast out a good temperature. I bought this heater just to take the chill off a room and it does that. Not sure if it is cost effective as I only use it occasionally. It has a remote control and I paid a good price. Shipped quickly and I think it is a good product.
Well constructed, good choice of heat settings
A compact means of supplementary heat in a cold bedroom supporting a *9,1*1,& 2kw Oil Filled Radiator.(Central Heating Boiler beyond repair) max temp in bedroom 13 degrees C .Switched on using remote (on oscillate) to ease breathing Asthma.Thermal Blackout Curtains now added
It works well
It looks very smart and is easy to use.One complaint I have is that it can only be used with the remote control which needs to be at hand to use the heater and I often forget where I put it.
The consumption is a bit more than what I expected
I think it consumes more than what said about the produc
Excellent heate
Brilliant for turning g on for short periods, to give an I start heat boost.
A bit noisy but knocks out plenty of hea
A bit noisy, removes a bit hit and miss, but it certainly throws out some hea
So impressed!
I like everything about this heater. I like that it’s easy to carry around, it’s easy to turn on and off from my bed with the remote control. The heat output is substantial and instant. It’s very, very quiet. It can maintain the temperature you set by thermostatic control. During this recent deep freeze I’ve been keeping my bedroom at 15 with this heater, with no disturbance to my sleep at all. I cannot recommend this item enough.
Good quality, cheap to ru
I had one of the small ones that just plug into a socket but found it useless, so I purchased this dreo atom one it is absolutely superb our gas boiler is set to turn off at 23.55 and the thermostat is set at 21C but I don’t go to bed till 01.45 so I use the dreo on lowest setting eco and it keeps the room at the same 21C temperature , the dreo is only 230mm high and 165mm wide , it can stand on a table or on the floor, I have found it so useful this week due to the very cold temperature it justifys it higher price than lots of the cheaper heaters
Good all round heate
Use this Heater for my 20×11 foot lounge.just fine for watching tv or to warm up before I put on my Electric Radiator.
Best for 2-3 hours at a time or set with thermostat .works out about 30 p an hour on 18 degrees setting .gives out good heat if you don’t mind pushing it up to 21degrees although that will increase the cost of your energy.seems well built and suits me .
Have used it regularly the first month for a couple of hours each day to keep central heating off, and until we needed to put the central heating on for a couple of hrs. It is hard to gauge the heater use due to change in electric prices changing again, as we noticed a rise in electricity costs last month. We decided not to use for a month to see if there is a difference in costs. It certainly heats up the room quickly for its size and when using will be using more on eco. I was lucky to get it at lower price as it has jumped up quite a bit when I checked it out for my daughter. Will add another review when I’ve used it again.
Almost ok...
The heater is almost ok, but it makes a lot of noise and the remote doesn’t really work except when in close proximity, which cancel its purpose…
I bought this because I was looking for a space heater for my bedroom.
I live in a 1930’s semi detached house, on my own.
During the wintertime, I spend a lot of time in my bedroom.
Mainly on the PC.
I only venture around the rest of the house to cook or use the bathroom.
The house is simply too cold to try and keep warm with the central heating on.
I use to come in from work on an evening and put the central heating on for around four hours.
This would warm the house up nicely.
I am with bulb (Who I believe have been bought out by Octopus Energy now)
My rate is pay Monthly Variable.
At the moment it is 33.03p per kWh of electricity, and 10.24p per kWh of Gas. 29/11/22
So back to the heater…
I have quite a large room 3.5 x 4.5 meters, with 2.4 meters high ceiling.
From 10 degrees to 18 degrees, it takes the little heater one hour on eco mode.
I only use eco mode. That is 1110 watts from the wall.
So at the going rate, that is 37p an hour whilst it is on.
but the beauty is that it turns off once it gets to your desired level.
I have it set to 17 degrees, but it is on the floor. This means that it is 18 degrees at head height.
Perfect for wearing a t-shirt in winter.
I have enclosed two screenshots of my usage per day. With gas central heating, and with just the heater.
The figures speak for themselves.
I am over the moon with this little heater.
It is rather noisy if the room is dead silent, but put on the TV and that disappears.
The price of the heater has gone up 14 quid in 48 hours.
I bet it’s even quicker on full power mode, but the fact that it has a timer, eco mode, and oscillates, is just fantastic features to be had.
full points from me.
Update….. During the freezing cold temperatures outside, the heater has struggled to maintain the 18 degrees in my bedroom. It has certainly managed to keep the chill out of the air, and saved me on fuel bills! But it’s had to stay on full power to do this. Full power is around 1500 Watts. 50p an hour. So still no complaints.
It heats up really quickly and warms your room and feels really comfortable, not too hot but we do turn it off after a while as it will get too hot for us personally.
We bought this hoping it would help our finanses, And it has, our lounge is 18x 10feet and on heat one it makes the room cosy, it osculates so heats all parts of the room, it has a count down when switching off from 1 to 30, all done via a remote, it is so quiet you can watch TV or listen to music without interuption.
when it get to your selected heat it stops pumping out heat and the fan cools it then it stops and need a flick of the remote, You will love it it has overheat and knock over safety features
Impressed
I purchased as a backup in case my central heating fails and I’m very impressed especially for the price. A real bargain and I would recommend.
4.0 out of 5 stars Not suitable for bathrooms
Tempted controller needs to be very, very close to work
Great heater!
Really pleased with this heater. Extremely efficient & whisper quiet! Great features with the different heat outputs, eco mode, timer & having a remote control. Nice compact design too. I bought it to see if I can cut back on using gas for heating. I’ll have to weigh up the benefits for the reduction of gas top ups v the increase in my electricity bill so will add a further update in due course. Very happy so far though.
Packs a punch
Was looking at taller versions but given the reviews and that it was a Lightening Deal thought I’d take a punt. This little guy is much better than I expected and heats my WFH area much better than I thought possible for the size. Remote is a nice touch, as is the optional 5 yr warranty. Bring on winter! I’m prepared.
This is in use every day when required, the temperature is controllable and it heats a room approx 14ft x11ft quickly , however don’t assume you know how to use it. Read the instructions
I was writing a lengthy review on this brilliant little heater, then my app crashed! Take my word you won’t be disappointed.
Excellent quality, mega powerful heat output if needed, yet eco lower heats if wanted too. Build quality is excellent, and from a company you can trust (check out DREO away from Amazon too)
Highly recommended and a best buy of years for me.
A1 perfect, with a great guarantee length of 5 years when activated on the DREO website.
Heats up quickly. Remote is good. Smells a bit funny when you first use it. Delayed start function would be good
Purchased to heat one room to save money on the gas bills. No heating for me…sob.
Has an abundance of features, thermostatically controlled, timer, digital temperature settings, blower, auto-cooldown to prevent heatsoak and oscillation (moves side to side to distribute heat better). Has three heat settings, 900 being the lowest.
Heats my large room up long befor the hour timer expires, my house at the moment averages around 16 degrees C with no heating, 12 when it is cold outside.
Can’t speak to reliability yet, but for the above purpose it works well for me.
Great little Fan heater and genuinely the quietest one I have ever cone across. Packs a punch. One downside is the 30 sec count down when it’s switched off..no problem just something I find annoying and it’s the same deal if you knock it over. Still couldn’t recommend more
Love this. Not huge but packs a punch with the heating.
Its also very quiet, which helps as we have it in the living room to keep that and the kitchen warm.
As others have mentioned, the remote can be hit and miss depending on what angle you are at but mostly works.
Also love the oscillation to spread the heat and the Eco mode is an awesome mode so you dont have to keep fiddling with keeping the temperature right.
We use this heater to heat up our family room and it works well. The fact that it turns itself on and off makes it more economic. The remote control seems to be more trouble that it is worth, so we use the manual controls quite effectively
Great compact heater, blends in well. Been using all week as alternative to putting heating on and so far it’s surpassed what we thought it could do! Hope it’s as economical as stated, only have on Eco mode and it heats the living and dining room very well. Very pleased with it so far, and for the price with a 5yr manufacturer warranty it’s a no brainer. Will pay for itself in no time. Oscillating feature works great for larger rooms to. All in all I agree, it is a beast !
Lovely little heate
Love this little heater so far …yet to check out my energy bill for how much it coming to ….Heats up a room very fast and cuts it self off when temperature reaches the temperature you set it comes back on when heat drops
Love this little heater,in a small living room it takes about 30 mins to heat to comfortable level, although don’t leave any internal doors open, when warm enough just use remote to turn down settings, occelation is smooth and has good coverage.cool down quick when off and anti tip automatically switches off unit when knocked accidentally, also can be used in summer as it also has a cold air function.
Great looking and very efficient heater.
Purchased two of these now, I was so impressed with the first. Customer service also fabulous after I lost the remote control within 48hrs (with a little help from the 2 year old grand-daughter….!) Was really surprised at how good looking it is and well designed.
Registered for my 5 year warranty also.
Had this for a few weeks now,and very pleased with it,Heats up my 15×15 room, very quickly, and mostly runs at 800-100 watts so fairly cheaper run, have used the eco mode mostly so heater cuts out at required temperture on the digital display, remote is simple to use and works fine for turning on and setting tempera ture.
I purchased this heater when it was about 40, no regrets. But now its about 70 – its not worth that. Feel the retailer is taking advantage of people’s worries about energy bills, but seriously if you want to spend 70 get a larger heater.
Basically a very good heater but the remote control system is flawed as the heater’s sensor is on the top and as a result the remote does not work from directly in front of the heater and has to be angled down from above so it is not as easy to control as I would have expected.
So far working fine, throwing out a good heat. No idea how cost effective it is as live in country area and have problems consequently getting a smart meter. A good back up though if have problems getting oil. We haven’t as yet got to grips with remote control, only got it yesterday afternoon……
I wanted a small electric heater to heat up a single room in the flat without having to run the central heating in the autumn months. For that this little device is great, we turn it on sometimes with eco mode, it usually heats up the room in a couple minutes and turns off automatically. It’s relatively quiet and have had no issue with it whatsoever. Easy to control and love the remote.
Asked to write a review on this product after having only received it three days ago, I can only comment on it based on that period. It certainly lives up to the glowing description and we are very satisfied with it – so far. Obviously I cannot comment on it on a long term basis, reliability, cost etc. for a while yet. At time of writing I can say I’m very pleased with it; having taken the free option to extend the warranty to five years, I hope that should there be a problem, it will be dealt with. Only time will tell.
Great product. Boxed very nicely, easy to set up. Simple controls. Option to activate a 5 year warranty.
I got this, as others have, to “hopefully” save money on my energy bills. I currently only have central heating for my heating needs. I thought that by getting this, I could just heat up the living room, and save money via not wasting energy for the other rooms in my house. (Mission accomplished).
I have mine set up on eco mode, you select a temp (18degrees for me) and it automatically shuts off once the temperature is hit. This is a great feature, but also why I took a star off. The thermostat seems to shut the unit off, before the room has hit the desired temp. I placed my hive thermostat right next to the unit, and the unit shut off whilst the hive was only reading 16.4 degrees. It’s not a big deal, I just raised the desired temp up to 20.
The unit itself feels well made and looks really good. I paid 55 which seems reasonable, considering the extra features It has compared to some similarly priced units.
This unit will roughly cost 69p per hour on full throttle, at current elec prices, and that’s if you dont use the eco setting. The eco setting saves you cash, by turning the unit off once it reaches the desired temp. I used it for an hour (although it wasn’t particularly cold) and it cost me around 15p. Much cheaper than Central heating. Once the unit shuts off, it does feel as though it gets suddenly colder, but that’s just because my unit is seated so close to where I sit.
My room is quite big, with high ceilings, but this small beast seems to be doing the job.
Arrived well packed, remote easy to use, a very compact heater with an amazing output. It’s about 1ft high and roughly 7’x7″ square.
There are three levels of heat and an eco setting.
When I turned it on initially the room warmed up within 3 minutes , that was on the top setting at 20 degrees. I nearly boiled! So I’ve been using the eco setting. I have set it at 19degrees for my 15×12 ft conservatory
It comes on as soon as the temperature drops below , then switches itself off.
Quiet running, don’t even hear it when the tv is on.
It also rotates if you want it to
Awesome for the price and economical to run
I’m so glad I bought two ! They’re going to be great when it gets really cold .
It also has a timer , but to be honest If you have set the temp it will come on and off automatically.
I bought it to keep the kitchen warm for my dogs in the winter months . The other night it was 2 degrees, they were toasty warm all night and the kitchen was warm in the morning. Probably won’t bother with my gas heating this winter .
Also if you register it you get a free 5 yr warrantee
It’s not winter yet but so far so good and it’s ideal for my toddler’s room, wanted another one but quickly realise the price has increased by 40% and still being advertised as discounted.
Like everyone else I am concerned about energy costs particularly over the coming winter and so decided to look into a portable heater. I did some research and established that the important thing was to buy a ceramic heater and this fits the bill. Up and running within 3 minutes, easy to move around as required, unobtrusive, quiet and provides a significant boost to whatever room you are in without having to heat up the whole house. Very happy and would certainly recommend.
Happy with item but disappointed the cost had been reduced by 10 within 48 hours of purchasing i
All works well. In just a matter of days the price has gone of to 10 at 69.79

Great price for a state-of-the-art small but mighty heater.
