The welder works very well and does a good job. The High Frequency start works very well. I practiced a couple of welds with 3/32 tungsten on 3/16 soft steel. The 2T and 4T settings work just as advertised. It would be nice if a foot control could be added to adjust the amperage. The fan only operates as the unit heats up but I never experienced any overheating or overload. The torch is a little bit on the bulky side but easy to get used to. I purchased the welder to use for small home projects and it definitely fits the bill for that.

Nice little machine for a cheap price. It welds pretty decent stick and tig. I’ve burned about 30 rods with it and tig about 10 foot distance and it worked awesome. It comes with a gray 1/16 tungsten and small cups so you’re going to want to buy some 1/8 tungsten and bigger cups like 10 or 12 if you’re going to try to walk the cup. And of corse you need argon and a flow meter for tig

Seems OK for home use as a beginner…. Enough options etc for a novice welder doing small jobs. Would be great if they included a couple of electrodes instead of just a starter kit. I nearly lost mine in the packing.
The instruction manual could be improved (IE – no note to sharpen the included electrode) but then there is plenty of info out there on YouTube, etc…

Paid for itself in half a day. Was looking for a cheap set, I’m accustomed to Jasics. Excellent hf and a fairly stable weld pool. I’m using this set professionally for some self employed work on the side. Only thing I replaced was the head of the torch with a gas lense. It will weld all day 60-120 no probs without cutting out. Incredible machine for the price.

    Cheap but powerful.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI never write reviews, but as there aren’t many for this and I’m so impressed I feel I need to.

Firstly, the price and weld quality of this machine is fantastic, I TIG weld with a Kemppi most days, obviously the Kemppi has lots of extra features, foot pedal, AC and pulse etc, but weld quality from this isn’t far off. It’s nicely controllable, the digital screen is great and the amps setting id say is spot on. The main reason I went for this model was the high frequency start, which again is faultless, The arc will strike even from 25mm away from the work piece. Another big plus for this machine is the adjustable gas purge this works flawlessly.

As to be expected with the price, the consumables and accessories aren’t great, it comes with a collet body rather than a gas Lens which works okay but I will be changing to a gas Lens, the tungsten I didn’t try as I prefer the 2.4mm I believe the standard one this comes with is a 1.6mm. The gas hose from the bottle to the machine is okay, but hard clear hose which would probably split over time, again I will be replacing this. The electrode holder for ARC welding looks like it would do the job but is a bit cheap. The plastic cover that goes over the torch hose from the machine cracked straight away when trying to tighten the fitting but it’s not needed just makes it look a bit nicer.

The TIG torch is comfortable and doesn’t seem to get hot, the hose and cable are in a nice sheath and extremely light and flexible which is easy to use.

I tested the machine from 2 amps all the way to 203 (Maximum) again no problems and the display seems accurate, the machine also stayed cool as it has a nice fan permanently on.

I can’t say anything about longevity of this machine as I’ve only had it for a few hours but so far so good. If you were like me and dubious about this due to the price and unfortunate name of the brand, don’t be. I’m glad I got i

    Very impressed

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersi dont normally leave reviews but i was impressed for the money ive read alot about it not arc on tig but learned you have to put the ground lead on positive connection for it to work on tig

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersJust learning to weld myself and wanted to learn TIG for hobby blacksmith purposes, but after the extensive research on different welders and welding processes, this has every function to start learning TIG with the simplest system possible.

The torch is a little bulky for something like TIG when you want a light touch, but I feel like if I can learn with this, other air cooled torches will be a breeze. And while I was waiting for my argon bottle, I played around with the stick welding and was pleasantly surprised with the beads I was laying with no formal training whatsoever.

I of course am a beginner, but after a month of practice so far, I definitely am feeling very comfortable with my setup and starting to get passable welds and feel like the machine is a big part of my success. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking to start dipping their feet into TIG without breaking the bank. Plans on upgrading gas lenses soon but absolutely no complaints at the moment.

I used the tig work great no problems their just more practice on my end. And the stick welding part was awesome too I can’t complain it does what they say it does for the price. I would definitely recommend this welder for beginners and pros. Also I’m looking to buy a hitbox mig. So maybe another review on different product lol
