Got these to replace my og joy cons as a treat and they look so cute and I love the fact when connecting to the switch the icons on the screen are the same colours.

It works amazingly straight out of the box. straight 5/5 product. I connected to my Nintendo Switch without having to search for a new controller in the Switch’s settings; detects the device with a split second straight out of the box! Overall it is a great replacement to my old Joycons which came with the Switch and and… The price is very affordable!!!! Very happy customer at the end of the day!!!!
Steering button is crumbling!
I love the colour of these and they work absolutely fine, I am just annoyed that the left hand steering button has started to crumble. I would expect that to happen after a few years, not a few months.
hese controllers are so cute i got them basically when they came out but im already having problems with one of the joy stick. its not too annoying yet but i got them to replace old ones that had bad stick drift so its sad to see nintendo hasn’t fixed the problem ye
Charge them well
Make sure these get a really long charge before using them on console to begin with. Could use a slightly higher thumb stick but got cute thumb grips for them

These are the genuine ones, as i had to replace the original ones, which started drifting on one pad, while i realise i could have bought a sensor replacement kit, which is almost as much as a new pair of joycons.
Decided to just buy some one ones. Maybe sometime i will get a sensor kit for the old ones, when the price is more reasonable.
Joy-cons better than originals
Bought for use while my original left Joy-Con was sent in for its analogue stick to be repaired and the rail to be replaced, as wasn’t sure how long it would take, and as I normally play in handheld mode I thought I’d get another pair to tide me over.
Comparing these to my 2017 Switch original Joy-Cons I think Nintendo have reduced the amount of flex in the rails when holding they seem to be a lot tighter on the console.
Hasn’t disconnected once from my console in handheld mode.
The colours seem to be slightly different from their opposite side same colour that came bundled with the console, though this may slightly be due to age of my originals.
Seem to be more robust.
Can’t go wrong with genuine Joy-Cons plus can send them into Nintendo for repairs.
I bought these initially as a replacement for my current ones which were suffering from Drifting. Whilst they were being sent out for repair (for free via Nintendo’s helpful services, they’re now officially offering this free service), I spotted these on the marketplace and snagged them for a competitive price and I am so pleased with them.
The colours are beautiful, and when latched onto my very old Switch, it just freshens everything up. My old controllers feel so smooth compared to the new-ness of this type of plastic, it has a rough untouched feeling towards it.
Anyway these controllers have been working perfectly. It’s unique colours makes it easy to recognise when I bring them to my friends.
TIP: I use to stick a few tiny stickers just to tell them apart otherwise! If you find this tip helpful, I’d be appreciative if you could feel free to express it!
Got a great deal on these a while back. They are quite expensive to buy in shops. Price seems to go up and down. When sons switch controllers broke we needed a replacement while they were getting fixed. They are genuine Nintendo. Colour bit more illumines than the photo.
Official joycons, so you get what you expect.
All features packed in, nothing omitted (as happens on some third party options, like NFC, HD rumble etc).
Only issue, if you play and use these alot, they will eventually drift (i.e. Your directional sticks will wear, and make your character move on screen when you’re not touching the controller). But 90% of people won’t use their joycons enough to see it.
I give these 5 stars as they are new and working, but I have had to order these due to my existing ones coming down with the drifting issue. Disappointed that Nintendo has not done anything to fix this issue from happening so minus one star.
bought for my daughters switch which had started to”drift”, I was going to dismantle her old one as I had seen kits to repair the issue but didn’t want the faff, it works fine but as with all this kind of thing , they know how to charge for it…

My old controllers had a lot of drift so I replaced them with these. They came quickly and work great.
Colourful
The plastic has a nice texture. Children love the popping colour. Works the same as default joy-cons. No Joy-con drift so far.
The plus handle being paired with the plus controller (same for minus handle with minus controller) might be confusing or counter intuitive for certain groups of people. You can hurt your hand trying to remove a plus-minus pair if you incorrectly pair them.

After our left joy con randomly stopped charging this product was the perfect replacement, it paired effortlessly.

Direct replacement for joycons that had inherited some drift on the movement controls. A common problem. New ones look great and really change the appearance of the console. Nintendo really need to look at the drift issue because it’s expensive to have to keep replacing these although these are prices more reasonably than other outlets.

It’s totally worth buying the controllers I’ve seen I get slimes and accidentally feel on the floor like a gazillion times and it has not broke so if your looking for new controllers this is the product to buy .
We needed some extra controllers to allow 4 of us to play games like Mario Kart, or Trivial pursuit.
These were that easy to “pair” with the Switch that my daughter did it without even asking. Just pop them onto the switch to charge and it does it for you.

THEY WORK
I have been looking for a pair of joy cons for my switch as mine haven’t been working properly since it’s second hand. These have been working perfectly and there’s no drift to them at all. They work great. I totally recommend them

Seems to work probably
These items have been a useful addition to my multiplayer gaming. Initially, it appeared one of the joycons was not working, but since I first got it to work, I’ve had no problems.

Thank goodness for buying these separately! My sons Switch controllers had stopped working properly and I was worried I’d either have to replace the whole thing or pay for it to be repaired. Replacing these solved the problem instantly.
Expensive consumables
This is our second set of replacement joy cons that we’ve had to buy for our switch.
The drift issue is real, it’s annoying and it feels like Nintendo treat these controllers as consumable items because they can be detached from the console and easily replaced… at least, at a cost.
It’s cheaper to buy the extended warranty at check out when offered, I feel we’ll eventually need to get a replacement set again.

These were bought as a gift, a bit pricey and they don’t come with a controller dock (can buy these elsewhere/argos/amazon etc.

No letters on the buttons.
These do exactly what they are supposed to but I only have 4 stars as if you’re a dinosaur like me, you like to know what each button does. I like an easy life and by putting the letters on the buttons would make things easy.

Great price, for aa genuine product i had this on offer, work as expected great spare set. Bought as a spare , so daily used at the moment, was on offer at time of purchase.
No more drifting
Ok so bought a DIY kit that lasted 4 weeks, bought a different brand to the real version which started drifting after 4 months and calibration didn’t work, so now bought the proper branded product and works a treat and is just better quality, should have spent the extra in 1st place
Good quality but pricey
Official product so quality is as you’d expect but my word the pricetag is hideous. Shame on Nintendo for making a periferal 1/3 of the cost of the entire console.

Fab Colour Combo
I love the colours of these and they are brilliant controllers in general.
The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is that I feel there is a small design flaw in that the buttons are not soft touch. For the hefty price of these little devices (and any of the Nintendo branded joycon) I would expect those little extras that make the user experience a little nicer, such as soft touch buttons that don’t make a load of clicky noises when using.
Innovative control solution for Switch
I mostly use my Switch while connected to my TV so I got these Joy-Cons purely to have a second set for my girlfriend or anyone else who visits our home. To be honest, I usually use the Pro Controller and neglect my Joy-Cons a lot of the time, because they’re just not as comfortable to use. That said, that’s not so much a flaw of the design as a consequence of innovation. The Joy-Cons are really designed to be broken off from the Switch console to allow for instant local co-op on the go. They’re genious from that perspective, playing into the sense of fun and play the Switch console seems to have been designed around. My nephews also have a Switch and there have been many family events where they have huddled around a table nearby with their cousins playing a multiplayer game, once the adult conversation has bored them. The Joy-Cons are an essential part of that situation as they can be transported with the console so easily and provide a broad range of control in a small package.
Most of us have heard about drift though, which is the one big black mark against these controllers. They’re not cheap to replace so it’s a pretty big issue that I hope Nintendo will have resolved with their next hardware release.

Synced within seconds , charged quick and fully compatible as expected.
They have a slightly less smooth surface feel than original blue/red which I find makes for a better grip.
Really bright colours and totally responsive when attached to the screen-console or has standalone.

Four is better than two
I am a decades-long Playstation fan. Yet the family is gradually adopting the Switch because of its more kids-oriented games. Increasingly I am invited to compete in Mariokart, which admittedly is good fun. In particular if you play it with more than two party members.
So while I found this quite an investment at 60, for a set of extra controllers, it will get you much more value out for you Switch system. Moreover it keeps a group of young games relatively quiet for quite some time, well not quiet but at least occupied. We have the odd-coloured Animal crossing Switch machine, so this pair of purple /orange controllers is a welcome addition to the awful colour mix. Although expensive, I must say that the quality of the Joy-con’s is good – although light and smallish, they are sturdy and durable.

Worked straight away when attached to my sons switch. Have tried cheaper ones and have realised sometimes you just have to pay for the proper thing if you want the proper results. Still think they’re expensive for what they are, but that’s nintendo for you.
Nintendo 'non existent drift' problem replacements
Got them to replace the drift issue. This is my 4th set since the switch came out (got it at launch) apparently they have sneaked out improved versions with the new zelda official ones. Just admit you have a faulty design and own it nintendo, I’ve now spent more on joycons than buying a switch lite. 4 stars as the service from amazon was excellent but the product is not built to last (2-3* for the product)

Good as a new joy con could be.
Nintendo had legal problems about these joy-con.
Apparently they were easy to break so you have to buy a new one and the price is more expensive then a game itself.
My old ones are still both working after 1 year (little bit more loose the left one now), I bought them just for spare.
Anyway if you have a broken one, Nintendo should fix it for free.

I recently bought a switch from amazon and the joy cons stopped working. Amazon refunded me for them and I got these. They work well so far, but I know everyone has been having issues with nintendos joycons
Drif
I got these because I had no way to prove my purchase of the old ones to get them fixed. However I had barely had these for a week before the left controller started drifting. It was even worse than the old one; I could not play any of my games, especially Animal Crossing, and therefore had to go back to using the old one where the drift is manageable
Great switch controllers, is the bright neon pink and electric green. Feel great to use, just like the set that come with the console.

Amazing!
They’re amazing! The blue and red joycons came with my switch, I brought about 2 years ago. The pink and green joycons are the ones I brought for 60. Which is better than any shop near me can offer.
Unlike the original blue and red cons, the pink and green controllers are matt, and they’re so much better. They feel much more sturdy, and they look sleek compared to the originals.
They may appear dead (drained of power) at first, but slot them into the switch, and they connect instantly, with the cons about half charged.

Working perfectly
Bought these to replace my original drifting pair. The colours were swapped from my original Switch which I didn’t even notice until someone else pointed it out.
Whether or not these will also suffer from drift, who knows. For the last month or so though they’ve been fine and had a decent amount of use.
Snazzy
Bought these to replace my origional joy cons as the movement stick seemed to get stuck and my characters kept moving long after I had taken.my hand away. Love these colours and have made my switch look new and can play my games now without inadvertently walking off cliffs
I like the product but I'm a little sore about how much this cost me
I hate that I have to pay this price for Switch controllers but they do work very well. Would be nice if Nintendo included a controller grip with these at it would have cost them pennies to do but it’s going to cost me a tenner to but one.
Additional controllers important for more than 2 players
If you’re playing on the Switch and you want to be able to play with more than 2 players for the games that support it, this is a must. They are also interchangeable with the original ones, so you can give your Switch, a “switch up” in looks.
Solid build
Bought to replace original V1 Joycons which suffered from awful drift (even after replacing analogue sticks. Deicided that as its been over 3 years since I got the switch then even though they’re expensive replacements were needed. Quick well packaged delivery, instant connection, colours very nice and not too ostentatious. My boy loves them! He uses them for hours every day and they’re holding up well so far.
My favourite colour combo
I bought these after the joy-cons which came with my original Switch started to drift. I’ve given them 5 stars for now since I’ve been using them pretty constantly and they haven’t started to drift yet, but I’ll come back and change this if they ever do.
Aside from that, this is my favourite colour combo for joy-cons. The colours are so bright and vibrant.

Joy cons are working brilliantly, the range is good and battery life is excellent. Really one of the best controllers available, especially when playing with family and friends. The colours look awesome although I wish I had chosen the yellow ones now 🙂
As Expected
Although I think these are quite pricey for what they are we’ve never had a problem with the original joy cons that came with the console but have gone through 4 cheaper wired controllers that have all developed faults. Hopefully these will last as well as the first pair that are still going strong 18 months down the road. Daughter loves the colours more than the blue/red set.
Costly Multiplaye
Product arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I purchased these as a backup set for when my other Joycons are charging or when I want to have 4-player co-op.
I struggle to see how Switch Joycons are value for money considering what they are. I suppose comparitively, controllers for other consoles sell at roughly 40 and these translate to 2 controllers if used singularly.
They work well enough so far, haven’t had any issues with drift. The battery life could stand to be a little longer but then again modern technology doesn’t tend to have great battery span.
You could probably get a knock off set for much cheaper than this but I can’t say how well they would hold up. Nintendo items do hold their value well so you could easily sell these in a few years for 30-40 if kept in good condition.
Decent controllers
Needed an extra pair so I could play with family. These do the job but are expensive (as is everything to do with the Switch) and I’m not sure how long they will last as my original pair starting making squeaks and clicks when moving the sticks after only a couple of weeks. Like these colour options though!
Great controllers
I was looking at purchasing some additional controllers for my Nintendo switch for months, but found it difficult to justify because of the expensive price. I finally found these, and they were a reasonable price so I made the purchase. I’ve had them for a couple of months now, and they seem to work exactly the same as my original ones that came with my switch. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for additional controllers.

Nice neon controllers
With orange being my favourite colour, I had to get these controllers for my switch! The colours are bright and the orange and purple work really well today! I have had no issues with the controllers and they are made really well!
Ideal
These Joy Cons are really pretty, and mean we can alternate with different colours for our Switch. They also worked perfectly after just an hour or so of charging and don’t lose battery too quickly. My only comment would be on the price, as they are a bit expensive. That being said, I do imagine we’ll get a lot of use out of them
Swish and Flick
I love these colours, I got them so I could play with a few more friends in group games. They work great, and they look great – and it’s for the best because my Neon Blue one has gone a bit dodgy since.
Price is a little high but I guess controllers normally are around that ballpark figure.

They are a little pricey but well worth the look. My Switch now has a touch of colour.

Just to note that these are the same as the standard ones that come with every console.
The joy-cons are very space economic making it easy enough to carry them in a travel bag and, even though they are small, they are still easy to use with some great motion sensors.
No problem recommending them so far.
Brand new, nowadays these controllers cost a lot of money but i like these controllers because of the two different colours. I wish the price for the controllers were 40 pounds and not 64.99 otherwise i have no problems with this controller and the design.
The product is great! Although in the descripion you need to write that it comes with 2 joy-con straps as I had bought them separately, as it doesn’t say that it does come with the controllers.
So anyone buying these controllers don’t buy the straps as it comes with the controllers too. Unless you do want different colours as these come with plain black straps.
The colour of the two controllers are fantastic but maybe just a tad bit of a deeper pink/green than the Pro Controller of the same colour scheme. I picked these up after my original left joy-con was beginning to slide out of the mechanism without pressing the release button.
The price is quite steep compared to Xbox One & PS4 controllers, which can be found for around 30 – 50 depending on where you look new at the time of writing, but they do contain all the features of the joy-cons that come packed in the box – including Amiibo, IR and gyro functions. They come with great battery life and when connected to the dock will charge alongside the Switch itself.
My only one recommendation would be to grab a Pro Controller for around 55 (again at time of writing) if you’re looking for something a little bit more familiar to controllers of other consoles. Unless you want 4 player co-op with these two additional joy-cons.
Really great pair of Joy Cons in a great colour choice! If you have the other coloured Joy Cons, this makes for a headache of colours! Very easy to use and well packaged. Essential for playing with more than 2 players on your Switch. Shame the price is so high for these though (over 60 currently), could do with being about 20 cheaper but that’s life.
Love the colour of these joycons much like the original blue and red, very vibrant they standout and feel obviously like the originals. I will say this the joycons do start to hurt your hands after long use so I would recommend picking up a pro controller if you have the extra cash it would be a good investment. Course if your using your switch in handheld or giving these to someone with small hands or of a younger age you’ll be fine. A good purchase either way you won’t be disappointed.
They work well. I don’t appreciate how costly the joy cons are in all honesty, each one being around the same price as the excellent Xbox One controller but they do have wii like functionality (as I found out through 1-2 switch) so the cost may be warranted (still not sure). But all in all, the buttons are clicky which i love, the colours are very vibrant and neon, they remind of the vibrant colours found on sour candies. Also, there are no other options if you want to play 4 player on Mario Kart at home so I guess I had no alternatives to this expensive product anyway. I’m not too mad though, the controllers are good and just like the ones you would have received when you bought the switch itself. At least they’re cheaper than the custom made joy-cons I see some enthusiasts getting which seems absurd to me. I can’t rate the product down because of the price due to the fact it’s build quality and feel is still excellent so I give it 5 stars.
