Excellent dock for the ROG Ally
Absolutely no complaints with this dock. It handles 4k60fps output without issue, and is able to drive my ROG Ally to it’s full potential of 30W Turbo Mode when a 65W charger is plugged in. I use the USB ports for the wireless dongles of my peripherals so I can use a keyboard/mouse setup on the couch and have had no issues with the connection.
Although designed for the Steam Deck, the Ally fits nicely and the cable has no issue reaching the Ally’s top USB-C port.

Solid build and has plenty of inputs and outputs. Looks great on my computer desk and hides all of my cables. Would recommend a wireless keyboard and mouse setup.

Good alternative to the offical steam dock
Just looking for an under 50 pounds steam dock. This does the job, everything work perfectly. No issue with this dock and its quality.
Nice sleek design and has enough USB ports for a controller (or 3) plus a keyboard and mouse if you want to have the Dock on a desk with a monitor and use it like a PC. It also has an ethernet on the side and despite the location the SD hides it when it’s docked. Definitely worth the price and no idea why anyone would pay twice the price for an official one from Valve
Excellent dock
The dock provides pretty much everything the original dock provides and is at almost half the price.
Only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have the versatility to be a proper stand and only a dock. Sometimes I would just like to connect all my peripherals and be able to use the deck itself at a better viewing angle.

Very easy to set up has all you need for a great experience with the amazing steam deck had it up and running in minutes and offers enough ports for connectivity..
No issues here, plugged into steam deck and worked out the box with both a monitor and projector. USB ports support USB hubs so connectivity isn’t an issue, no latency nothing.
Very light, very useful 90 degree USB C connector for the switch to avoid port or cable tugging. Works great with the switches power cable too. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Cheaper alternative to official dock
I love it, highly reccoment, I’ve actually retired my gaming pc and have a wireless keyboard and mouse hooked up, plus save a fortune on electricity
It’s a good solution gor most your average SDeck connectivity needs.
The metal frame helps a bit with heat dissipation.
It’s easy enough to handle so that you can still use the Sdeck controls while plugged in (if used on a desk)
Firmware update was a little difficult to come by and had to be done through a second PC.

Needed this for quicker downloads over Ethernet. My speeds went from 60mbs over Wi-Fi to 130mbs over Ethernet. And the pricing couldn’t of been better seeing as steam released their dock and its quite over priced. So this being a cheaper alternative for already doing same thing the steam dock offers.

Essential accessory for the steam deck
I wanted a dock that had also had Ethernet and this fits the bill well. The dock is well made and has all the features I need.

Dislike – cant be used with tablets as it topples over backwards (not an issue if used only for steam deck). The reason for this is the angle is not adjustable

It’s great works well on my steam deck and tv, small enough to carry around with you
People are saying the steamdeck is better than the switch. Well, the dock makes the comparisons easier. It is good to be able to play on the big screen. Use a PS5 or Xbox controller via Bluetooth and you are away. This dock is a decent weight and look. It allows you to connect the power source via usb C, an HDMI lead, and has 3 USB 3.0 connections so you can connect a mouse and keyboard when using the desktop mode. At 50 it is a bit steep for what is a gloried USB-C multi tap but it is cheaper than the recently released official dock. A decent neat solution to hooking the steamdeck to the TV.
Works very well and currently retailing at half the price of the official dock. Can turn the Steam deck into a gaming console, with keyboard, mouse and controller support, really removing the need for an expensive gaming PC. The cradle where the Steam deck sits is broad enough to accommodate the device without needing to take off a rubber case if you use one.
