Mighty beas
Quite a small, but chunky unit. It feels substantial and well made. A decent long lead enables you to get around the car. I use bought it for car detailing work together with the big, hosed Vertool. It is great for blowing out the water from all the nooks and cranys; wingmirrors, fuel caps, door handles, etc., which drip water at the most inopportune polishing moments. Its seriously powerful – wrenches your hand when you first switch it on, but small enough to be very practical. I’m using it on every car I detail.

As said brilliant bit of kit, way more powerful than expected. The only downside is that it’s quite loud
Big blow, small size
Totally brilliant for drying motorcycle. I dropped it and broke one of its feet so it’s a little fragile there but, what it does it does very well.
Super power full
Bought this to clean and dry of my RC cars and trucks. This is super powerful and has no issues drying the vehicles out fast. Don’t have the space for a compressor but this is just as if not better.

Small and powerful
This is a great product and works perfectly for drying a motorcycle. I also have a ‘full-size’ Air Force Blaster which is excellent too. However this smaller version is so convenient to use that I use more often. For motorcycles I’d recommend the small version as being sufficient, and for cars and large vehicles then buy the full-size version. Either way I’d highly recommend both of them.

Great car dryer gets into those annoying places,like wing mirrors,grills, around headlights,and all those place water finds to hide.
Would not be so good for hole car would need a master blaster revolution in my opinion.

I bought this Air Force Blaster Sidekick primarily to dry all those hard to reach components of my bicycle after a thorough clean, and it works very very well. It was delivered in two days, just as I had been told, and I used it the same day to dry my bike after a deep clean. I was surprised and impressed at how much water the Sidekick blew from the chain, cassette and derailleur, the hubs and gear change levers. When I lubed the various components afterwards I was confident that I was not trapping unwanted moisture which might otherwise have lead to corrosion. The Sidekick feels well made and all being well it will provide me with many years of good service. Shame it was a bit pricey, but I guess the cost reflects the quality. Worth buying.
This blower driver had many great reviews from top car detailers and valeters, so I knew that it would be good and I wasn’t disappointed..
Build quality is excellent, very robust on/off switch, rubber nozzle so won’t damage the bodywork of car/bike, very powerful motor it will remove the hair from your head so don’t point it at your face and for the UK import a very long mains cable fitted with a good tough UK adapter/plug.

Sturdy and powerful for it’s size. Can even be used as a mini leave blower. Struggles to dry a whole car, but blasts out water from nooks and crannies quite well. Certainly recommended it!
Great but a bit heavy
This is a great blower with lots of power but I find it a bit heavy. Having said that, its compact size is very handy.
If you don’t need something portable, I would recommend something like a Blo Air GT over this. Slightly more dough but probably better.

Great, i was surprised by how powerful it is. Great for drying the bike. For me Unlike the other options on Amazon this one is actually portable. Also its quite expensive by comparison but im very maticulous and the build quality feels excellent. As most will know you get what you pay for.

Fast disposal of water. A bit slow on roof but elsewhere worked a treat. It made cleaning the wheels a much easier chore.

Great for blowing surplus water out of those small places when washing the car, side mirror housings etc. Also for removing water from windows without leaving streaks. I’m happy with it.
Blows away at high speed
I have used this a few times now but the only thing that stops it from getting a 5* review is that plug sockets lead is a bit loose… you can tell an adapter has been added to the end and may require a socket change at some point… but the functionality of drying the car is amazing. Especially if you have used ceramic wax previously on your car.
A little on the expensive side, but well worth the money!!
I bought this to help dry my car after washing, before applying wax and other protection products. Works a dream in getting water out of every nook and cranny. Helps avoid swirl marks often caused by manual drying. Has other various uses too, like blowing all the dust out of my PC’s case and fans. Would certainly recommend.

Purchased for the hubby for christmas for his beloved bike! Up until now, he had customised a garden leaf-blower and while he claims that was functional, this is even better. Great for reaching the smaller/tighter places and powerful. He’s happy so i’m happy!
Bought one of those chinese made blowers last year which lasted a couple of months before the motor packed in on me . I used it for drying vehicles and it was handy so decided to replace with this American made Metrovac as the revues were excellent. Haven’t used it yet but have turned it on and although a little noisier than the old blower it’s much more powerful and am looking forward to using it once the weather improves. Quality built product and should last for years

brilliant little blowe
brilliant, i use on my ceramic coated M4 Competition, water flys off. But if your car not detailed or taken care off its no good as water wont clear well.
Brilliant bit of kit! Just right to blow all the water from my prized motorbike and get it to show winning standard! A nice warm blast of air to get to all the nook and crannies of a motorbike, totally recommended!! Expensive? yes, but you need this to get all the water from your bike before laying it up over winter or using your bike over the winter period once washed, highly recommended!

Bought one years ago, constantly being borrowed by my son to clean and dry his cycles (mountain bikes and racing bikes, he rides all year round). Got fed up having to re-claim it and as it’s his birthday 2/7/19 decided to buy him his own. He will be the proud owner.
How to rate this.. as advertised for drying vehicles its not really up to the task despite what you may see on YouTube!” It is good as part of your cleaning process so long as its limited to blowing out trims and wing mirrors etc, but use a drying blade for the big panels.
Being American made it’s really solid and built to last, robust metal body and switches.
Since buying I am finding my self using this for loads of tasks, I regularly blow out the internals of my PC and its great for getting dust out from TV cabinets etc. just come in from a distance first as it is powerful! I dry my windows with it in conjunction with a kartcher vac. I even dry down the wicker patio chair sand composite deck after a jet wash.
The other day I blew all the dust of the blades on my tower fan instead of having to take the cage of and wipe it. Its a hundred quid, and that’s a fair bit but it just keeps making itself useful. If it wasn’t for the fact it can’t do its intended task quite well enough I’d give it 5 stars so its a 4 for that reason.

Trying to avoid micro scratches after hours of prep and polishing a car is so important. The Metrovac is powerful and light to use and I would recommend highly. Also great for removing water lodged behind badges, light clusters, mirrors etc.

Amazing amount of air for such a small machine. Gets water out from cracks and crevices. Clears dust and debris from inside and outside the vehicle. Will clear whole panels but not very quickly. Well worth the cash for a blower that is light and easy to use.

Fabulous little blowe
I read some reviews prior to buying this blower as I predominantly wanted it for my car.
Most criticism seemed to be aimed at the fact it wasn’t much use as a leaf blower which having purchased one now it isn’t. It’s a bit to small and compact for that however as a blower for cars/motorbikes and other such large equipment its absolutely fantastic. For such a small item its really powerful and does everything you’d want it to and more.
My only word of warning would be that it’s way to powerful for such things small electrical items that get dusty like computers, xbox’s, tv’s etc.
It’s not cheap but it’s well worth the money.
Having recently buying a new car and having seen the damage that local car hand wash outfits do, with countless paint swirls and hologram effects, I decided to purchase all the essentials to treat my new car to future wash and cleans at home. With the goal of as little contact with the paintwork as possible, a blow dryer of some description was a must. Not to mention a great addition to bast away any settle water/suds from behind wing mirrors and grills etc. I’m all for buying quality products and am willing to pay the premium to do so. This MetroVac SK-1 is perfect for those aforementioned nooks and crannies and although I think the bigger Air Force Blaster would be perfect and somewhat quicker for the whole car, this little Sidekick is just about adequate. This would be perfect for a bike and although it requires a little more time for a car, it’s worth it.

Only thing could improve would be length of the power cable as it is a tad short .

Perfect for drying hard to get areas of cleaned ca
Used for drying 2 motorcycles. Thought my Harley was hard to dry but my new Tiger XRX has so many small places it’s impossible to get at so I thought I would try this blower. Very pleased. Powerful warm air blast with a filter to stop dust being blown all over the bikes. Solid construction with a long lead. Tubular attachment is made of rubber so you won’t damage anything if you get too close. It’s a bit heavy but that means it should last.
