We have a large chainsaw but sometimes it’s too big for the job so this works great. We have scrubs coming through chain link fence so it’s nice to use for that. Works great so far, good battery life.

Brilliant mini chainsaw
I can’t fault it, spare battery, chain ,gloves and case!, it cut up a large pallet effortlessly and quickly ,and went through 4 inch branches without any problems, I would recommend it for small quick jobs

A little pricey but looks well-made and sturdy. Haven't really tried in on branches and wood materials so still a bit early to give an appreciation of the unit's capabilities and battery life.

I bought myself one a year ago, I have used it more than I thought I would and as I talked about at work ( work as waitress) the men made fun of me UNTIL one asked me to order him one… Well now I have ordered 3 more for them, they all have been as impressed as I was. Battery life is long, I’ve never had to use the 2nd battery. It does what it says it will. Great to have and great gift idea
The product arrived at a perfect time for the big storm. It came with only 1 chain and was missing the warranty card. Other than that it was good. Im still trying to figure how to get the missing items though without returning it because I have many trees to trim after the hurricane.

Much better than I expected. Works great. Super lightweight. Simple to use. Wish the battery lasted a bit longer, but that’s made up for with having the second battery available. Cuts quickly through thicker branches than I thought it would be capable of.

Would have given a 5 except instructions are not very comprehensive. Need info on the chain. For example, how to tighten; how to change; how to oil; how to sharpen; and on and on. On the tool itself, so far so good. Using for trimming around the house of some small pines (Mugo) and other shrubs.

This is great for limbs and ate just too big for pruners but not big enough for a full size chain saw. It will also cut boards if needed but not well and it drains the battery quick. Overall I'm pleased helps me with things I'd have to wait for my son or husband for otherwise.

My husband has shoulder problems and can no longer raise or pull start a gas chainsaw. This saw arrived with charged batteries and he immediately took it out and started cutting branches. It is VERY lightweight for the user but strong enough for what needs done.

This little chainsaw is perfect for me – no, it doesn’t have the power or capability of a full-sized chainsaw, but for small branches and volunteer trees, this does the trick! I wish that the batteries lasted a bit longer, but generally I don’t use it for large amounts of trimming/clearing, so it’s not a huge deal to recharge frequently. When trimming branches that are 2-3″ I find that rotating the Mini Chainsaw around the branch works best. If I could change one thing, it would be the positioning of the two buttons – I have a small hand, but the buttons are just a little too close together to hold down at the same time, meaning that I have to press with the side of my thumb.

Excellent bang for buck product. I bought this to deal with breaking down large limbs that fell into my yard. It did everything I needed it to do, turning hours of manual labor into minutes of easy labor.
If you are looking at breaking this out once or twice a year for tree trimming and cleanup I highly recommend.

I just received this a few days ago, so I haven't used it much yet. The few cuts I did make were smooth and quick. I hope the batteries are decent, but that is yet to be determined. It's a really cute little tool though!

Surprisingly Good for the Money
The gulf between this and a Milwaukee brand saw is 4-5 fold and I doubt that saw performs 4-5 times better. This was a nifty Father’s Day gift that has seen regular use and I think we got our money’s worth.
Be careful though, the breaks aren’t as firm on this saw, so allow the extra 2 seconds for the chain to stop. Otherwise, big fan.
I'm using this with my wood carving and have been very pleased! The units blade is staying sharp. I'm still hoping that the motor and bearings hold up.

We’ve tried it on some small branches, it seems to work reasonably well. The bar doesn’t seem that sturdy so I don’t think it will last but we’ll see what happens. My wife found it easy to use except she has trouble seating the battery.

This little saw does exactly what it was designed for, and does it very well. the price is very reasonable. the batteries take about 3-4 hours to charge, by the time it runs down your ready for a break. I put a few drops of Chain oil on the Chain before use, i believe that will extend the life of the Bar and Chain.

This is my first time doing a review!!! I just had to with this small chain saw. I am 64 years old and do most of my yard work. Today I cut through branches of a large oleander. Many branches were at least 4 inches and this little saw cut right through it. I will work on it again in the morning

I like that it came in its own case. The description of the product says that it has 2 chains. I only received the 1 extra chain plus the one on the chainsaw. The white gloves that came with it smell awful! Must be washed before using. Tested it out on 3 inch and 4 inch tree branches. It will cut them,but you must put pressure and manoever around the tree limb. Did give a nice clean cut. Smaller branches are much easier to remove. But in a bind, better than searching for the big chainsaw. I charged the 2 batteries, and it didn't take too long. I don't know yet how long the charge will last. I liked that the chainsaw came assembled. Other competitors, you have to attach the blade and chain to the chainsaw. This comes basically ready to use.

Good little unit. So far with use i have not had to change the battery. Just been trimming small stuff and not running unit for long periods at a time. Theres nowhere to oil unit as it does not use it so will have to see how long the unit last for as most saw use oil on the chain etc.

Complete tool from proper carrying case to included adjustment tools replacement chain, batteries!... very pleased! One caveat... the enclosed gloves unnecessary and of no use for safety.

Can’t cut huge trunks but can cut an awful lot of small trunks and thick branches. Each battery lasts about 45 minutes of straight cutting so longer if you are also pruning small branches. Only drawback is that it takes about three hours to charge each one. But honestly, this is my new favourite toy – can cut an awful lot and is super easy to use.
I bought it for my wife and she loves it. She uses it to got branches and find it is very manageable. She can hold a cut branch with one hand and cut to small pieces with the other using the saw.

Before I used it I applied some bar/chain oil to the bar and it seems to operate very smoothly. Only ran it for 15 mins so not sure about the battery life but I had more than ample power while using it. Instructions are a little sketchy about tightening the chain but I will figure it out. Comes in a nice toolbox with a couple of tools.

Screw driver to big, cuts well and first time use of battery lasted 30 min. Still this is ok as long as batteries recharge for a few years. I easily cut 4 inch hawthorn trees which could be the reason for 30 min battery. I like it for what I want it for, I will be using it to cut mainly brush 1 to 3 inches trees. Only had this for 2 hours and if batteries last I have no problem buying more blades, was even thinking I may buy a second one so I have 4 batteries and 2 chargers.

Love my mini chainsaw. Makes pruning so much easier for branches that small pruners wont cut thru. Have been using a hand saw for many years. Pruned my apple tree using my mini chainsaw yesterday. It took about an hour to cut and recut branches. Would have taken me all afternoon doing by hand held saw. Definitely a wise purchase.
Was very hesitant about buying this saw because of name brand and appearance of cheapness but after looking for a big name brand (they do not make them) I took a shot at this one and so glad I did. Perfect for one handed cuts and fast trimming. Cut 2” live branches in seconds, so much better than clippers or bringing out a big chainsaw.

I love this little tool. It's perfect for my small hands and does a great job on thick branches and small trees, as well as some tough bushes. It's light weight and doesn't "wear my hand out", and it's fun to use. It's nice having the case to keep it in so it all stays together. Very handy. Didn't know this item existed until my next door neighbour used his. I own 3 acre parcel with trees and lots of bush that requires constant maintenance, trimming etc. This item cuts through live & dead branches (3-4 inches diameter) very smoothly. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a lightweight tool for cutting small branches that I could carry along while working on my farm. This is small enough to carry everywhere, cuts branches from finger diameter to a couple of inches with ease. It has good battery life and I love that It has a carrying case that everything fits in. Plus it comes with 2 batteries!! Highly recommend

Perfect for smaller trim jobs!
I LOVE this mini chain saw!! It’s so much lighter and easier to control than a full size chainsaw! I had some parasitic vines growing on a good size tree and was able to effectively cut them back and kill the vine. Now the tree is much more healthy (and it saved me a ton of money by doing it myself!).
I still have a few projects around my property and this little saw will work perfectly! Just remember, it’s not going to cut down a giant tree but will be excellent for trimming limbs back to keep your trees looking good and providing shade.

I dug a 450 foot trench in the woods for a power line and it had hundreds of 1 to 4 inch roots that were ripped out on one side of the trench by the backhoe. These roots made it impossible to put the conduit down on the bottom. Using a chain saw would have been tough because of its size. This little saw was perfect and I cleaned up the trench in no time. My wife used it to cut down about a dozen 3 or 4 trees that were growing too closely in our yard. What a great little tool. Just don't get in a hurry because you could injure yourself. It does have the chain guard on the top, which is a great feature.

This is one of the greatest little tools ever. I’m a 76 year old woman and I cut limbs with ease now. My husband made fun of me for buying it but then I wowed him with how great it cut through fairly big limbs. It’s a keeper.

Received several days ago and was pleasantly surprised. Just charged the batteries and ready to go.
I spent close to an hour cutting bushes and smaller trees and no problems with the battery. I did adjust the chain tension twice as new chains do stretch. Easy to do with the screwdriver that was included.
EASY one hand operation. It loves the bigger branches and smaller tree trunks.

This saw is amazing! I have really bad knees and back. I jave no trouble using this saw! It came assembled.
I got the chain caught in some wire and the chain came off. I am absolutely horrible at fixing or repairing anything. In less than 10 min I had the chain back on and continued cutting. It will cut about a3″ in diameter tree or limb. I was very impressed! No more dead limbs, hedge bushes, and small trees growing where they could become a problem if they got any bigger. My mother loves it too. I intend on buying her one! Don’t hesitate. This little saw is awesome and over $100 cheaper than the big box stores!
Tried all kinds of things to cut bamboo, which is difficult because of its fibrosity. This works! Make sure you have the battery clicked all the way in–I didn’t at first and it kept shutting down. Once I figured that out (duh), it was easy peasy. Used WD40 like a few others suggested. I’m giving these dead-looking things another month (from the Big Freeze in Texas), then I’ll go after `em. Favorite tool I’ve bought in a while.
I am a 75 year old lady and love my new little chainsaw. Had a lot of young 1-4″ trees out back to cut down. My mini-chainsaw worked wonderful. Did have to tighten the chain a couple times after cutting a couple of the thicker trees but that was easy. It was very easy to handle. Especially love the safety features.
It’s a nice kit that comes with a carry case. Having two batteries helps as one can be charging while the other is in use. A nice safety feature is a lock button that must be pressed before pressing the trigger to power the saw. The saw also has a safety “anti-splash” or chain bezel/cover.
This is not a variable speed mini chainsaw, but that is not an issue and mentioning this just for information purposes.
Perhaps the only consideration is the user manual could be much better/clearer and contain more detail/information about the saw and operation/use.
