I bought this to help with my resin work but had never used one before, first use I boiled my resin. Don’t turn it on and leave it…. Sometimes I have a problem getting a good seal, I found that a quick wipe over both surfaces with a damp cloth really helps. All in all a good bit of kit.

I got this for degassing investment casting powder. I have had vacuum chambers made for that which cost over a thousand pounds in the past. This kit does the same job perfectly. It is also a lot quieter than the expensive machines I have used before. It is barely louder than an electric kettle. I am delighted with it.

I bought this for my dad who uses it for his wood work, where he combines wood with coloured resins.
He loves it. The only thing is we wished there was some instructions to go with it. He found out how to use it by watching videos on line. But never quite sure if he is using the Teflon sheet correctly.

Funktioniert tadellos. Unbedingt das Volumen beachten. Ich habe zuerst die kleine Kammer mit 2 Litern bestellt und dann zustzlich noch die mit dem groen Volumen. Die Kammer mit 2 Litern war erheblich zu klein, htte ich mir
vorher grer vorgestellt (verglichen mit einem Makrug… 😉 ). Da hatte ich mich arg getuscht.
Das Produkt jedoch ist tadellos.

For all resin workers, I have found this option really useful for degassing the resin (once mixed). I mix my resin, then degass in the vacuum chamber (this is the part where you have to pay attention!, a balancing act between too much vacuum where the resin literally boils up and out of your container and not enough. It doesn’t take long to figure it out).
It doesn’t remove all bubbles but seriously reduces the bubble count if doing deep fills.
(If you don’t want bubbles at all, you need to compress to 4 Bar)

So I’m really happy with this purchase. Pump is way quieter than I thought it would be and tank is a really good size. You will need a tool kit to get this to full pressure and I believe thats why people complaining about the pressure not being good enough is because they’ve not tightened around the houses because that’s where I was having pressure escaping from. Got needle to full pressure no problem once everthing was tight. Fast delivery as it came before it’s delivery date. Only thing I’d say negative is that I would of liked a manual but I just looked up set-up on YouTube which I probaly would of done anyway. Honelyly I don’t get why there are negative reviews on this
