Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem kleinen, leichten und handlichen bersetzungsgert! Auf meiner Reise in die Niederlande hat es sich als uerst zuverlssig erwiesen. Es funktionierte problemlos unter Realbedingungen, und ich konnte mich mhelos verstndigen.
Die Gre und das Gewicht des Gerts machen es uerst praktisch und leicht zu transportieren. Ich war angenehm berrascht, wie schnell und genau es die von mir am hufigsten genutzten Sprachen bersetzt hat. Die bersetzungen waren nicht nur schnell, sondern auch przise, was meine Kommunikation erheblich erleichtert hat.
Fr meine Zwecke sind die verfgbaren Sprachen ausreichend umfangreich, und ich bin beeindruckt von der Vielseitigkeit dieses kleinen Helfers. Insgesamt bin ich uerst zufrieden mit meinem Kauf und kann dieses bersetzungsgert jedem empfehlen, der unterwegs eine zuverlssige bersetzung bentigt!
Wow Just Wow
Ok so admittedly this is my first translator so I’m completely blown away by it’s prowess. With it’s contemporary sleek design profile that weighs just 125g. I love it’s ergonomics.
More than the aforementioned is it’s ability to actually perform and with it’s mobile data it’s got the power to deliver let alone when it’s surfing WiFi.
It’s camera is it’s eyes to decode visual surroundings and the mic is it’s ears to discern the audio world in real time.
A simple must have for my future holiday destinations however with two years free roaming data what lies at the end, a financial storm of exploiting packages or consumer friendly marketing.

Au dballage, rien signaler. L’appareil est lger et semble de qualit quant sa conception. C’est donc une bonne premire impression. Mais passons au test maintenant !
Mon test :
contenu : le traducteur, le ncessaire pour le charger et la notice d’utilisation.
quoi a sert ? : traduire simultanment la conversation entre 2 personnes ne parlant pas la mme langue.
utilisation : ma premire frayeur a t de ne pas russir allumer le traducteur, comme s’il tait dfectueux. En fait, il tait juste dcharg totalement et il a mis du temps s’allumer durant la charge. Et aucun voyant ne me permettait de me rassurer au dbut du chargement. Ensuite, c’est trs intuitif pour l’utilisation. C’est le point fort de cet appareil. Le gros point faible tant la ncessit d’tre en WIFI pour l’utiliser. Je comptais l’utiliser l’tranger et je pense que j’aurais quelques difficults ce sujet. C’est dommage car tout le reste est parfait (rapide, lger et efficace).
Mon verdict :
4 toiles pour ce traducteur rapide, lger, efficace mais utiliser avec le WIFI uniquement.
Der Pocketalk Plus hat mein Reiseerlebnis komplett verndert und ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem Produkt. Ich kann mir eine Urlaubsreise ohne diesen Echtzeit-bersetzer gar nicht mehr vorstellen.
Die Vielseitigkeit des Pocketalk Plus ist beeindruckend. Mit seiner Kamera und Sprachausgabe ermglicht er nicht nur das bersetzen in beide Sprachrichtungen, sondern untersttzt auch 82 verschiedene Sprachen. Egal, wohin meine Reise mich fhrt, dieser bersetzer hat mich stets begleitet und mir geholfen, mich problemlos mit Einheimischen zu verstndigen.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist der extra groe Bildschirm, der das Lesen und Verstehen der bersetzungen noch einfacher macht. Die Darstellung ist klar und deutlich, und ich konnte problemlos die bersetzungen lesen, ohne meine Brille aufsetzen zu mssen.
Ein weiterer groer Vorteil ist die lange Akkulaufzeit des Pocketalk Plus. Auf meinen Reisen konnte ich ihn den ganzen Tag nutzen, ohne mir Sorgen ber eine leere Batterie machen zu mssen. Das hat mir viel Flexibilitt gegeben und ich musste nicht stndig nach einer Steckdose suchen.
Die Bedienung des Gerts ist einfach und intuitiv. Die Benutzeroberflche ist gut strukturiert und die Funktionen sind leicht zugnglich. Die Spracherkennung funktioniert erstaunlich gut und die bersetzungen werden schnell und przise ausgefhrt.
Ein weiterer positiver Aspekt ist das kompakte Design des Pocketalk Plus. Er passt problemlos in meine Tasche und ist somit immer griffbereit. Ich schtze auch die robuste Bauweise, die sicherstellt, dass das Gert den Anforderungen des Reisens standhlt.
Alles in allem hat der Pocketalk Plus meine Erwartungen bertroffen. Er ist zu einem unverzichtbaren Begleiter auf meinen Reisen geworden und hat mir geholfen, problemlos mit Menschen aus verschiedenen Kulturen zu kommunizieren. Ich kann dieses Produkt nur wrmstens empfehlen und bin sehr zufrieden damit.
Au dpart, on se dit que a ne va pas tre utile avec le tlphone, et c’est l qu’on fait une erreur ! En effet, ce traducteur est un peu plus qu’un simple traducteur instantan. Il est connect l’aide d’une carte Sim. Au dpart vous avez deux ans d’abonnement offert l’achat et vous pouvez l’utiliser dans plus de 150 pays. Une multitude de fonctions sont intgrs comme la dtection de la langue et j’en passe. Je pense que pour des globes trotteur c’est un outil qui prend une toute autre dimension.
La traduction est vraiment bonne. Il prend en compte le contexte comme les tracteurs les plus performant que l’on peut trouver sur le Web, mais qui eux sont payants.
En bref, c’est un trs trs bon outils pour voyager, je recommande fortement !

it has a really big 3.9 inches touch screen, bright and clear, very user friendly interface, i ordered it for elderly parents who came and visit us, they barely speak and understand english, this translator really gave a big help, not only they can communicate with grandchildren who only speak english, but also they can even read and understand english text printed on product box, leaflets
the real time translation is really fast and accurate, it understands different voices and accents, even some popular slang, it gives very reasonable translation in no time
also it has translation history that we can recall frequent phases, no need to speak and translate every time
the device speaks in different languages very accurately and voice is clear, doesn’t sound like robot at all
the camera translation feature is interesting, however it’s not too practical, it’s good for some big text printed on sign, but for small text and dense text, the translated words are too packed and difficult to read, anyway it’s still a big advantage to read and understand foreign language
there are more features with the device, like language practise and role play game, real time currency converter, very useful! it gets the latest exchange rate online!
the device can last around 3 days in average per full charge, reasonable battery life, can be charged with the usb-c cable included

Wir hatten in der Vergangenheit und haben auch heutzutage manchmal mit Menschen zu tun, die eine andere Sprache sprechen. Das ist im Urlaub so, auch mal zuhause und dann ab und an beim Shoppen usw.. Hier erhielt ich das Testangebot fr den “Pocketalk Plus – Echtzeit-bersetzer mit Kamera und Sprachausgabe – bersetzen in beide Sprachrichtungen – 82 Sprachen – Extra groer Bildschirm und lange Akkulaufzeit”, wovon ich mir eine deutlich einfachere Kommunikation versprach und deswegen auch zusagte.
Der bersetzer kam sehr ordentlich in einem stabilen Pappkarton verpackt hier an. Im Karton sorgte Schaumstoff fr den sicheren Transport, es lagen auch noch Anleitungen (auch mit deutschem Text) und ein USB-zu-USB-C-Kabel (ca. 1,1 m lang) drin.
Der bersetzer hatte in etwa das Aussehen eines kleineren Smartphones und war 12,3 x 6,6 x 1,1 cm gro, auf die Waage brachte er 128,6 g. Nach meiner Messung hatte das Display eine Diagonale von etwa 3,8 ” – fr den beabsichtigten Zweck vllig ausreichend.
Das Gehuse war mit Ausnahme des Displays etwas rutschfest, was mir persnlich sehr gut gefiel. Auf der Frontseite befand sich unterhalb des Displays lediglich ein grerer Taster fr das Starten von Aufnahmen. Rckseitig waren nur eine Kameralinse und eine LED zur Beleuchtung vorhanden. Am linken Rand gab es eine Einschubmglichkeit fr eine SIM-Karte im Nano-Format, auf der rechten Seite den Ein-/Austaster und einen Wipptaster zum Regeln der Wiedergabelautstrke. Oben war eine Lochreihe fr den Lautsprecher erkennbar und von unten konnte man einen USB-C-Stecker anschlieen und bei Bedarf auch eine Halteschlaufe einfdeln.
Auf das ffnen des Gehuses habe ich lieber verzichtet, weil da sicher keine Dinge drin waren, die ich warten knnte, und um nicht aus Versehen etwas zu zerstren. Insofern kann ich nichts darber beisteuern, welche Leistungsdaten z.B. der Akku hat. Nach meinen Tests stimmten die etwa eine Woche standby durchaus, eingeschaltet und genutzt musste ich bereits nach zwei Tagen wieder aufladen.
Die initiale Einrichtung gelang nach dem ersten Aufladen des Akkus und dem Einstellen der Mensprache Deutsch recht einfach und schnell, auch die bereitgestellten Updates waren in wenigen Minuten geladen und installiert. Ab hier war der Pocketalk Plus stndig mit einem Mobilfunknetz verbunden, sobald man den einschaltete. Der hatte sogar auf gewissen Bahnstrecken eine durchgehende Verbindung, auf denen an Netzanbieter gebundene Smartphones oft genug Schwierigkeiten zeigten.
Mit der Verwendung kommt man auch ohne Anleitung gut zurecht. Im Wesentlichen ist nur einzustellen, von welcher Sprache in welche zu bersetzen ist. Bei Textbersetzungen ins Deutsche erkannte der bersetzer in allen meinen Tests die originale Sprache vllig selbstndig und vollstndig.
In einem Dialog mit jemandem, der/die eine andere Sprache spricht, lie sich die bersetzungsrichtung mit einem einzigen Tippen auf das Pfeilsymbol im Display hin und her wechseln, was eine recht flssige Kommunikation erlaubte.
Mir htte es gut gefallen, wenn man die Stimme fr die Sprachausgabe aus mehreren Mglichkeiten auswhlen knnte, was hier leider (noch) nicht mglich war.
Es wre auch angebracht, in der Produktbeschreibung etwas ber die im Kaufpreis inkludierte Vertragslaufzeit von 2 Jahren ab Inbetriebnahme aufzufhren. Ansonsten knnte es sein, dass ein Nutzer nach diesen 2 Jahren “aus allen Wolken fllt”, weil der bersetzer sich pltzlich nicht mehr im LTE-Funknetz anmeldet und demzufolge nichts mehr bersetzt. Wer das aber wei, kann den Vertrag ggf. verlngern (die Kosten dafr kenne ich leider nicht) oder setzt halt eine andere SIM-Karte mit einem anderen Vertrag ein, aber eben auch mit allen Bedingungen fr Roaming im Ausland usw..
Die bersetzungen gefielen mir alle sehr gut. Das ging schnell, zwar nicht in Echtzeit, aber mit nur ganz wenig Verzgerung. Niemand wird alle 82 Sprachen brauchen, aber so wei man, immer mindestens eine passende Fremdsprache zur Verfgung zu haben.
Wer also viel Kontakt mit Fremdsprachlern hat, fr den kann der Pocketalk Plus eine super Lsung sein, um verstndlich kommunizieren zu knnen.
Von mir gibt es eine Kaufempfehlung.
Das Gert erinnert an ein kleines Smartphone, das Design ist leicht und kompakt. Pockettalk Plus kann sowohl abfotografierte Texte als auch gesprochene Echtzeit-bersetzungen in beide Sprachrichtungen bersetzen. Hierbei ist zu beachten, dass das Gert immer nur krzere gesprochene Passagen bzw. einzelne Stze bersetzen kann. Auch ist eine Internetverbindung notwendig fr die bersetzung.
Es gibt eine diverse Auswahl an Sprachen, was das Gert sehr praktisch macht. Ebenfalls ist eine Funktion vorhanden, mit welcher die Aussprache gebt werden kann, weshalb der bersetzer sich auch als Untersttzung bei dem Erlernen von Sprachen eignet.
Die Kameraqualitt ist gut und auch die Texte auf dem Display sind gut zu lesen.
Allgemein also ein sehr zuverlssiges und praktisches Gert, was nicht nur sehr ntzlich sein kann, sondern auch Spa macht!
Das Gert kommt ordentlich verpackt. Rein optisch erinnert es mich von Format und Haptik an ein frhes Android-Smartphone.
Apropos Android, beim Einschalten merkt man auch gleich, dass hier Android unter der Haube werkelt. Nach dem Aufladen (kein Schnellladen mglich!) sieht man im Men den typischen Bildschirm.
Die Inbetriebnahme ist eher einfach, da sie eben einem Android-Smartphone entspricht. Einbuchen ins WLAN, alternativ Betrieb ber die integrierte SIM-Karte (mit zeitlich begrenztem kostenlosem Nutzungsvolumen!).
Sehr empfehlenswert ist es brigens, gleich mal das Software-Update vorzunehmen! Dazu muss man im WLAN eingebucht sein, und der Akku muss bis mindestens 25% (wenn ich mich richtig erinnere…) teilgeladen sein.
Die Nutzung ist nicht ganz selbsterklrend, aber man ist schnell drin. Etwas umstndlich ist das Umschalten der bersetzungsrichtung, das bremst in der Praxis doch ziemlich aus. Aber ich habe das beta-Feature der automatischen bersetzung aktiviert, das produziert zwar manchmal Unsinn, aber meistens luft es damit so, wie ich es mir vorstelle.
Praktisch ist brigens ein integrierter Umrechner, inkl. Wechselkursen.
Die Akkulaufzeit ist anstndig und entspricht natrlich auch hier wieder einem normalen Smartphone. Das drfte aber von der Nutzungsintensitt und anderen Faktoren abhngen. Logisch.
Alles in allem ein gutes und praktisches Gadget, das mit im Ausland auch schon tatschlich geholfen hat.
Quand on reoit le traducteur, celui-ci ne s’allume pas. On peut penser qu’il ne fonctionne pas, mais en ralit, il n’est juste pas charg. Donc, il vous faudra le recharger avant de pouvoir vous en servir la premire fois.
En termes d’utilisation, c’est vraiment trs simple, il n’y a mme pas besoin de notice tellement c’est intuitif. Il y a une sacre conception derrire pour que a soit aussi simple.
J’ai essay le traducteur avec un ami polonais qui parle couramment le franais et le polonais. Aprs plusieurs essais, il n’y a eu aucun rat dans la traduction.
Pour la partie prise de photos et traduction, a se fait bien aussi, mais la qualit de la photo rduit considrablement la traduction. Cependant, pour des panneaux ou autres avec peu de texte, a fonctionne bien.
Je fais mieux avec mon iPhone qui plus est, et c’est intgr nativement.
Maintenant, il y a une partie sur laquelle je n’ai pas trouv d’information probante. Comme il est crit dans la description de l’annonce, “Internet est ncessaire pour la traduction et ne fonctionnera pas hors ligne.”
Donc, l’appareil est quip d’une carte SIM interne qui s’active au premier allumage, et dans les paramtres, on peut retrouver une date de validit de 2 ans (voir photo).
Mais au-del des 2 ans, il faut acheter une licence, je suppose. J’ai essay de trouver des informations sur le site, mais rien n’est dit ce sujet.
Donc, je n’ai aucune ide du prix de la prolongation de licence. Une autre question laquelle je n’ai pas trouv de rponse : si la licence est dpasse, peut-on utiliser l’appareil en se connectant simplement en Wi-Fi pour les traductions ?
titre personnel, selon le prix de la licence, avec un iPhone ou un tlphone Android, on peut faire la mme chose.
Cet appareil s’adresse davantage aux personnes qui l’utilisent quotidiennement et non seulement pour un voyage dans un pays tranger.
Dernier point, il faut se renseigner sur le pays o vous allez pour savoir si l’appareil est compatible avec le rseau tlphonique local, sinon aucune traduction ne sera possible.
Mais en tous cas, c’est un super appareil, a fonctionne trs bien. Ravi d’avoir pu le tester.

Super traducteur ! Je suis confront tout les jours la barrire de langue dans mon travail lors de mes changes avec des chauffeurs poids-lourds et pour leur expliquer ce que j’attends d’eux cela reste trs compliqu parfois mais maintenant avec ce traducteur, je suis tranquille.
Avec un large choix, 82 langues, je trouve toujours la langue correspondante la personne, donc je gagne normment de temps comme pour le chauffeur d’ailleurs.

Fantastically easy to use we have this very handy, portable, compact and easy to slip into a pocket translator that can both recognise speech from 82 languages and can also take a snap shot of signs for quick and easy translation on screen.
This is about the same size as a small mobile phone and is very easy to use with an intuitive interface.
It can work in over 130 countries and relies upon a built in SIM which is usable for a period of 2 years from activation all around the world without incurring any charges.
The initial outlay is pretty pricey at just under 260 at time of review and for this price it’s worth considering the cost to amount of use you’ll get out of this handy little gadget. It can be extremely handy to have on hand for helping you travel the world with an easy way of communicating with locals effectively without having to know the lingo but can also teach you popular words or sentences for conversing occasionally in the countries tongue which often surprises the locals.
Use this on an ad-hoc basis or use it to teach you a different language, it’s a super little gadget that doesn’t require anything else apart from a charge.
As for purchasing this for a single trip or holiday then maybe it’s a bit too much to pay but if you’re planning on visiting a few countries with different languages over the 2 years of free global data access that this incorporates then this will be a very cool, handy piece of kit to have to hand. Ready for engaging with people to make communication and understanding of your country of travel so much easier.
It can also make sure that your mobile phone (which are often used for translating, with apps readily available) isn’t a target for thieves and won’t incur any additional data costs. Bear in mind that nowadays most mobile phone carriers have stopped inclusive roaming and now charge quite a lot for data roaming. Pulling your latest iPhone mobile phone out to translate for you in a packed market place could potentially lead to your phone being stolen by opportunist thieves just as you’re trying to converse with someone. At least you’re only losing a dedicated language translator should someone snatch this thinking it’s a mobile phone.
To be honest I’ve never thought about owning a dedicated pocket translator and didn’t even know they existed but I’m glad I’ve discovered these handy gadgets.
I’m planning on another holiday next year as already been away this year and won’t need to activate this until my next holiday abroad, but I may just activate a couple of months beforehand to learn the language and popular sayings before travelling so I’ll have a basic understanding and how to speak the language upon arrival.
There’s nothing worse than not knowing any of the local language as I’ve recently discovered in Turkey as not everyone speaks English and their extent of English can be very limited so this would have been so handy last month.
This particular brand comes highly recommended amongst seasoned travellers and is ranked high in top ten brands of translators and as it’s dedicated to translating I won’t need to open my phone up and open an app to translate for me which can be risky in some cases and comes at a cost for data roaming.
Very handy, bit pricey but well worth the money to learn new languages and make conversing so much easier.
Ich finde den Pockettalk sehr praktisch! Er ist kleiner als ein Smartphone, einfach in der Bedienung und bietet viele Mglichkeiten der bersetzung einer groen Vielfalt an Sprachen. Vielleicht ist die bersetzung nicht immer zu 100% korrekt. Aber ich wrde sagen, zuverlssiger als Google Translator. Zustzlich zur Sprach- und Fotobersetzung verfgt der Pockettalk auch noch ber ein einfaches Sprachlernprogramm, mit dem man die Basiskommunikation fr Auslandsreisen ben kann. (Funktionen siehe Video)
Um den Pockettalk nutzen zu knnen, muss man nur das Smartphone als Hotspot verwenden. Das Einzige was mir fehlt, ist die Mglichkeit Wrter oder Stze eintippen zu knnen. Man kann halt wirklich nur etwas vorsprechen oder abfotografieren.
Und mich strt auch etwas, dass er nach dem Einschalten so lange braucht um zu laden. Also endlich einsatzbereit zu sein. Wenn man ihn aber angeschaltet lsst und nur den Bildschirm ausschaltet, ist der Akku relativ schnell leer.

The device can operate via the embedded 4g SIM or when connected to wifi, with the SIM appearing to activate when the device is powered on for the first time.
The device is very easy to use with an intuitive UI that provides prompts when needed. Translations and language selection are extremely easy, and the speaker is loud and clear.
The elephant in the room here is why would you chose the Pocketalk Plus over translation via mobile phone, and that’s a valid point. For those unable or unwilling to use a phone, the Pocketalk Plus represents a valid alternative. It does feel a bit over the money but I’m sure the value is there for those who need it.
I ordered the Pocketalk Plus – Voice & Camera Real Time Translator because I frequently travel to different countries for both business and leisure purposes. As someone who enjoys immersing myself in different cultures, I often find it challenging to communicate effectively due to language barriers.
Was immediately impressed with the packaging quality of the Pocketalk Plus. The box was sturdy and well-designed, giving a premium feel to the product. I found the Pocketalk Plus neatly nestled inside, securely protected by foam padding. Alongside the device, there was a quick start guide, a charging cable, and a SIM card for the complimentary 2-year LTE cellular data plan. The inclusion of the SIM card was a pleasant surprise, as it meant I could use the translator without having to worry about finding Wi-Fi or using my own data plan.

First tried in a local restaurant where the staff predominantly spoke a language I was unfamiliar with. I used the camera feature to snap a photo of the menu, and within seconds, the translated text appeared directly on top of the image. Als ich dieses Gert testen durfte, habe ich mich zunchst gefragt: Wieso braucht man dafr ein extra Gert? Das kann doch ein Smartphone auch so schon! Tatschlich gilt das aber nur, wenn man beispielsweise ein Google Pixel besitzt. Mein Pixel 6 Pro hatte mich diesbezglich schon begeistert. Allerdings hat Google diese Funktion noch nicht in das allgemein verfgbare Android ausgerollt. Die Pixel Gerte knnen 48 Sprachen bersetzen, Pocketalk 82, darunter aber auch verschiedene Ausprgungen von Englisch (amerikanisch, britisch, australisch, …) oder chinesisch. Qualitativ waren beide Systeme sehr gut.
Pocketalk Plus ist ein Gert, das sehr stark an ein Smartphone erinnert. Es besitzt Mikrofone, Lautsprecher, eine Kamera (mit Blitz), einen Touchscreen, WLAN, Bluetooth und es ist sogar ein SIM-Karte fest verbaut. Tatschlich basiert die Software auf Android. Weitere Apps als die bereits installierten lassen sich jedoch nicht nutzen.
Das Gert gefllt mir von den Maen her sehr gut. Es ist leicht und kompakt. Die Ecken sind angenehm abgerundet. Prinzipiell wrde mir auch ein Smartphone in dieser Gre reichen, gibt es aber kaum noch.
Zur Nutzung der bersetzungsfunktionen ist unbedingt eine Internetverbindung erforderlich. Die bersetzungen erfolgen KI-gesttzt auf einem Cloudserver. Damit das Gert auch auerhalb des heimischen WLANs oder eines ffentlichen Hotspots genutzt werden kann, ist bereits eine SIM integriert, die 2 Jahre lang ab der ersten Nutzung zur Verfgung steht. Danach kann man den Vertrag kostenpflichtig verlngern oder eine eigene SIM einsetzen.
Das Gert kann gesprochene und gedruckte Texte bersetzen. Gedruckte Texte werden fotografiert und anschlieend wird dann die gewnschte bersetzung angezeigt. Dies geschieht zunchst unformatiert, kann aber auch als Overlay in das Originalbild eingefgt werden. Das ist beispielsweise dann hilfreich, wenn man eine Speisekarte bersetzen lassen und anschlieend dem Kellner zeigen will, was man essen mchte.
Gesprochene Texte werden gut erkannt. Der Text wird in der Originalsprache und in der bersetzung angezeigt und in der bersetzung laut und deutlich ausgegeben. Fr die Antwort muss man die bersetzungsrichtung ndern. Es gibt jedoch auch eine automatische Erkennung der Sprache, die dann jeweils in die andere Sprache bersetzt. das soll angeblich nicht ganz so sicher funktionieren. In meinen Tests mit Englisch klappte das aber ganz gut. Eine Live-bersetzung, fr die man noch nicht mal whrend der Spracheingabe den Knopf zu drcken braucht, ist als Beta-Software fr Englisch und Chinesisch enthalten.
Es gibt auch ein bungsprogramm, mit dessen Hilfe man Gesprche in der gewnschten Sprache zu definierten Szenarien (beispielsweise “Hotel”, “Restaurant”, “Einkaufen”) ben kann. Die KI simuliert dann beispielsweise einen Verkufer und versucht dann auch, auf die Antworten des Nutzers zu reagieren. In gewissen Grenzen funktioniert das auch ganz gut, ist aber dennoch meilenweit von einem ernstzunehmenden Sprachlernprogramm entfernt.
Das Gert soll auch zum Training der Aussprache einer Fremdsprache hilfreich sein. Dazu soll man Texte in der gewnschten Sprache einsprechen und sich ins Deutsche bersetzen lassen. Kommt dabei Kokolores raus, soll dann etwas mit der Aussprache nicht gestimmt haben. Das zeigt andererseits aber auch die groe Schwche des Gertes: Mein lupenreines Hochdeutsch versteht das Gert sehr gut und zuverlssig. Meine schwbische Kollegin versteht der Pocketalk Plus aber genau so wenig, wie ich es tue. 😉
Wohlgemerkt: Das gilt fr ausgesprochene Hardcore-Dialekte wie beispielsweise auch Bayerisch, Plattdeutsch oder Schwyzerdtsch. Lediglich regional eingefrbte Sprache und auch Umgangssprache versteht das Gert recht gut.
Es gibt “Pocketalk” auch als App in Google Play. Dort ist sie kostenlos und lsst sich 3 Tage testen. Danach ist ein Abo fllig, dass entweder 1,09 pro Woche, 2,99 pro Monat oder 29,99 pro Jahr kostet. Das finde ich sehr gnstig, und damit wird auch klar, dass sich das Gert nur fr ausgesprochene Jetsetter oder berufliche Anwender lohnt. Fr den Jahresurlaub im Ausland drfte die App mit dem Abo fr den entsprechenden Zeitraum die gnstigere Lsung sein. Allerdings muss man dabei eventuelle Kosten fr ein Datenroaming einkalkulieren oder sich im entsprechenden Land eine gnstige SIM zulegen.
Das Gert an sich ist aber auch sehr sympathisch, schon allein wegen der geringen Gre und des geringen Gewichts. Der Akku hlt durchaus ein paar Tage durch und man hat die App quasi fr ein Leben lang gekauft. Allerdings muss man sich auch hier dann nach Ablauf der zwei Jahre ebenfalls Gedanken ber eine Verlngerung des SIM-Vertrages oder eventuelle Roaming-Gebhren machen.
This is a really interesting device. However, it’s not cheap. I think whether it’s right for you will largely come down to how much you travel, or how much you care about learning a language.
For those who travel frequently, not needing to rely on a mobile connection at all can be really useful. Especially if you travel to lots of different places. Mobile apps are very useful, but batteries die and not all languages are well supposed by the obvious apps.
A language learner can of course rely on a whole swathe of tools. However, something that’s offline, accurate and has a single, focused use is great to use when watching a film etc in your target language. As with reading, mobile phones are not the most useful tool, as notifications and other apps may take your attention away from what you’re doing.
In terms of use, I found this great. Both in terms of battery life and ease. As I said before, it’s not cheap. However, neither those trips you frequently take and learning a language is a lifelong pursuit.

Pour le vocale ,la traduction est rapide galement, beaucoup de pays se trouve dans la bibliothque, certains dont on n avait pas forcment connaissance, mais bon, au del de a, pour ma part c un appareil indispensable quand on fait les courses, car de plus en plus de produits sont trangers..et lire les tiquettes et comprendre c l abandon direct, mais plus avec cet appareil.
Donc au final trs bon article, trs lger, trs facile utiliser, (mais attention il faut une connexion WiFi .)
mais nanmoins prix, pour ma part, trop lev.

Ce produit est de loin le meilleur traducteur vocal que l’on puisse adopter si on souhaite partir en voyage et liminer la barrire de la langue. Sa vitesse de traduction est presque instantane. Si rapide que nous en arrivons presque oublier que nous changeons grce ce petit appareil.
Sa batterie tout aussi qualitative permet une utilisation active de plus de 8 heures ce qui est vraiment pratique.
La qualit de ses matriaux se rapproche d’un smartphone haut de gamme, mme son cran incurv 100% tactile nous rappel encore une fois un smartphone.
Ses doubles haut-parleurs permettent d’imiter au maximum la voix humaine.
La navigation est simple et trs intuitive. Si vous n’avez pas l’habitude des objets technologiques alors cet objet ne pourra pas vous compliquer la vie.
