    I am a joiner so I am used too fitting locks, it was easy enough when you have the correct tools, but I would recommend this lock too anyone , it’s so easy too install and too setup , wish I had bought it sooner, I bought additional fobs off Amazon from a different supplier and they worked perfectly on the lock , a lot cheaper than lock manufacturer, I was surprised how easy it was too activate the fobs

    Seems to be a well made and sturdy item, follow the instructions and installation should be straight forward , have all options covered to gain access, finger print does not always work first time with me, but others seem to have no problem, the key is probably to press firmly.

    It is a great looking unit, but I had a considerable amount of trouble getting the alignment right for it to work properly, even using the supplied instructions, videos and template. Now that it is working I love it, as it very sturdy, notifies me when the door is unlocked (and by whom)..etc.. and autolocks. I would definitely buy another !! My one functionality gripe would be that if the door lock tries to lock and is impeded by something (doenst come all the way out), the autlock feature turns off (it doesn’t retry) so it stays open, but changing the autolock timing can help a little with that, and it really is a feature enhancement opportunity rather than a fault. Overall it is great value, great quality and very functional.

    I only use the app and the fobs to open the door so can’t comment on the fingerprint or code input functionality, and am likely buying the gateway, so I can lock/unlock it from anywhere.

    Found the instructions for this really difficult to follow – even watched some YT videos but still struggled – had to get my neighbour who is a handyman to help!

    Even he found it a bit daunting especially with the measurements and locations for the hole to fit it.

    Once fitted its very sturdy and works well with the app and the key. Tried connecting to my dot but I think it’s too far away for it to work as it lives upstairs from the door.

    The finger print is hit and miss and doesnt work as well as expected.

    Overall its very good but I think the instructions need to be clearer and easier to follow

    I experienced some unreliability in setting the lock up.
    It worked – then it did not respond. Then it would work.
    After a week away I re-looked at it, removed the batteries and reset it up again from scratch.
    And now it seems to work reliably – suspect a prior unreliable battery connection.
    It is continuing to work reliably after about a month – equal value to locks 3 times the price that I looked at. The opening options are amazing. The fingerprint option is not as consistent as I would like. Accordingly I set 2 or 3 finger options for each person which is okay.
    The one feature I would have liked would have been the opportunity to open the door (unlock it) at a scheduled time. Alexa (to which I have linked the unit) does not offer that facility. It could but the argument is a philosophical one rather than practical – and the decision is not to support that facility in case a door becomes accidentally unlocked. However, an Alexa routine can be used to lock the door.
    There was one adjustment I have made to the design and that is to waterproof the seams on what would normally be the inside of the door with electrical tape. My door is in an external garden wall and is exposed to rain both sides. The electrical tape serves very simply and very well. Overall solution – very good.

    Keyless entry door lock

    My eldest son brands of Boxing Club and exercising Gym and for a while now he’s been wanting to offer a monthly membership whereby his customers can enter the gym whenever they want to use some of the weight machines. I thought this entry door lock could be just the thing he needed. And it has turned out perfect for his requirements.

    This door lock can be used and opened in various ways … using fingerprint ID, a smartphone app, a coded keypad, scanning card or also simply using a key. At the present my son has chosen the coded keypad function. This works well as he can give his paying customers a key code number that he can change each month meaning anyone that has stopped paying to the monthly membership can simply not be given the new number. You can literally set up to 150 postcode numbers so it will be a long time before he’s use them all up.

    This key code door lock runs on batteries and you could open the door thousands of times before they need to be replaced, there is also a low battery indicator.

    It comes with everything required to set it up and fix it to a door and the instructions supplied are easy to follow and understand.

    This is a very high quality keyless entry door lock and in this case you get what you pay for at 129.99 (price correct at the time of this review)

    Highly recommended

    Thank you for reading and I hope you found my review helpful.

    In this modern era I’m surprised we still use keys for locks!
    This modern touch brings the lock into the 21st century
    Remote locking and unlocking is so cool

    Personally I wouldn’t want something like this on my front door, and so I’ve used it on my shed doo

    Great smart lock. Solid construction, easy to assemble. We had a small problem which was solved very quickly by the help desk. Works great with passwords and cards. Good and easy App on my iPhone for managing the lock. Nice to have a real (hidden) key in case of empty batteries.

    So the description states this is a:-
    Keyless entry door lock, smart door lock, keypad lock for door. Electronic door lock, fingerprint passcode WiFi bluetooth card key for home office ~ Silver.

    What was good is that there’s a video to help you install. Just search the name:- Ruveno RUT11B lock.

    *** 5 unlock ways:-
    * Fingerprint,
    * Smartphone app,
    * Keypad,
    * Card,
    * Mechanical Key.

    On the back of it there a little switch which allows you to switch left to right. Depending on which door opening you have this fixed to. Which is extremely good because another thing less to worry about when picking your lock in the first place. As its not something I would have originally thought of.

    Or even better when you got a brother in law who knows what he’s doing and does it for you. Win win.

    *** Drill hole:-
    * Diameter:- 0.59” (15mm).
    * Door thickness of 1.18″ to 2.36″ (30 to 60mm).
    * Backset:- 2.36″ (60mm).

    *** Also Manually Lock:- Long pressing “”#”” for 5 seconds to lock.

    I didnt know what “Anti-peeping password” ment, but you pick you nunber pin it has to be between 4 ~ 9 numbers, but where the anti peeping thing comes into work is that you can type in any random numbers befor or after the actual pin. So if anyone is looking they won’t know the actual numbers of your pin.

    My main concern about having a lock like this is what of the batteries die and that it it’s locked and no way of getting in. But it has a hidden USB power port, so you can plug in your battery pack and give it a charge to open.
    Worry over.

    I don’t know if it was just me or we did have a little trouble linking it with our alexa, But finally got there.
    Having 5 different ways of opening it does give me pieace of mind tho. Also that the company gives you a years garentee & lifetime tech support.

    So far so good
    But I will update this review if needed.

    *** Details:-
    * Colour:- Silver
    * Material:- Plastic
    * Lock type:- Electronic Lock
    * Shape:- Rectangular
    * Control method:- Touch
    * 30 days return service
    * 360 days warranty
    * Free Life-time Technical Support.

    I got this lock to have it installed on my front door between porch and living room so we can leave the porch door open when we are away for the amazon drivers to drop my parcels in. The lock it looks nice on the outside and well made and sturdy.The parts inside like the larch and the mortice looks a bit cheap but probably being inside the lock doesn’t need a special finish, so far so good.Its good that gives you the option for a key as well its like a relive for your brain if you keep thinking whats going to happen if the battery dies or something else.But about the battery if dies its good that it has like a charging port under where with a power bank you can give it so.e power to be able to operate for that moment and then you can change the battery.The i stall its not that hard if you know a little bit what you doing and read very well the instructions and also its best to look at the video as well because its very good.You need to follow the steps carefully and with patience and to have it sett the right way so don’t forget to select the right position if the door opens on the right or on the left.I didn’t connect it to the app because i don’t need it and if you want to control it remotely you need to buy separate a gateway.

    Unfortunately I’ve had to give this away to a family member due to the sheer size of the mortise barrel. It would not fit the depth of the internal door where I wanted it. I wanted it outside of my office door but it was wider than my actual door. The mortise housing is 26mm, which is standard but the barrel is actually that width too, so you literally have 2mm either side, one push and you’re door is wrecked.

    The family member I’ve given this to has had new doors fitted to accommodate this lock. I’m not kidding, they have decided to change their doors for a lock!

    So this review will actually be on their interpretation of the lock.

    The door they’ve installed on is a 35mm depth fire door. It gives adequate spacing around the mortise point. We’re not sure if the door loses its integrity and fire resistant but it seems to be the only size right. Anything smaller would mean, a good push is all it takes to break the edging.

    Installation was quite difficult, even with the correct tools it was time consuming. You will need bore bits, a chisels, a drill and hammer. Plus screw driver set. Your best buying a mortise kit but they went the traditional way.

    The instructions are very simplistic, a few pictures with no real information so be prepared to do a little online searching. There are videos online which can help.

    The difficulty is the size of the holes needed. You need a 14mm bore bit to go straight through. This is to accommodate the spinner as well as the wire from the digital pad. This is in line with normal door bars. At first we thought we needed a 54mm as the template shows this size. Do not go bigger than standard here, instructions should be clearer on this.

    There is a plate that then sits against the door and is screwed on to secure the pad. If you go bigger you’ll have nowhere to screw this plate on. Stick with a 14mm and you should be good.

    It has rubber backings and I’m assuming this is to allow outside installation but I cannot confirm this as a method. It’s being used inside.

    Once installed you download the app which is in the manual. Couldn’t get the QR code to scan so went for manual installation. You have to set up an account which I don’t really like, would have preferred it to just connect and allow set up through the app without credentials.

    Then it’s a breeze, self explanatory. You assign the IC card and can set fingerprint as well as digital code to your liking. You can also access an overriding key hole behind the fingerprint sensor if needs be.

    You can also apply a deadlock on the internal side of things. This can only be unlocked once pressed with the app. Not sure why it’s like this as you’re obviously going to be in the room to apply this. If you’ve accidentally left your phone outside of the room, you’re stuck.

    It looks great but it is difficult to install. Follow the videos online and give yourself a few hours.

    Really secure lock.

    I have been really impressed with its different functions. Using either your fingerprint, a code, or an app to unlock. Its really sturdy, and feels very secure.

    It can store loads of fingerprints so could be used commercially or at home, it can also be used via the code.

    Its easy to install, just need to drill a few holes, the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

    Very pleased and if honest impressed with this lock. However please read the instructions carefully before attempting to fit this lock it isn’t easy but the instructions will help lots. This is a modern and stylish looking electronic deadbolt lock for home or office door. I have fitted to office door in a community centre. Once fitted the lock can be opened using fingerprint ID, phone app, a coded keypad, scanning a card, or mechanical electronic deadbolt lock. Lots of good secure ways. What I like too is how this product locks automatically each time the door shuts. The locks memory can store 200 fingerprint and ID card details plus 150 pass code numbers. Impressive that. Fitting took just over an hour. Battery powered. All fittings included. Pleased to recommend.

    This is the kind of a product I’ve always wanted to have. It’s a great addition to my smart home and it’s super useful. Mainly two types of smart locks are available on the market, one like this which is just the lock itself and it can be mounted onto the door with the existing door handle and the other one which comes in a full set with handle and lock like the Yale SD-L1000-WH.

    The smart lock come with all I needed in order to fit into my door and make it work. A well written user manual included with step-by-step instruction not just for the mounting but also on how to set up the wireless connection and how to use the app. Comes with 3 keys, and 3 magnet cards which is great as most of other brands only give you 2 keys, and the cads must be purchased separately. I’m not sure how easy to make spare keys and how much it would cost, I guess it should not be a problem.

    The built quality is superb, the housing unit is made from some kind of metal (I guess is aluminium), it looks and feel durable. I’m not sure how safe is to use it for the main entrance door, if this is waterproof at all as it’s not mentioned anywhere in the description or in the user manual. I wasn’t brave enough to try it, so I just mounted on my office door. There is a very detailed video on the amazon listing page on how to mount it, also there is a QR code in the user manual, if you scan that code with your phone it takes you to the video. It’s not a rocket science to be honest, it took me about an hour including drilling new (bigger) whole on my door (you might nod need that) mounting and setting up the dedicated mobile app.

    The beauty in this smart lock is the fact that it can be opened several ways., by using the keypads, with your fingerprint, magnetic key, and regular key. The regular key can be lifesaver when the battery is dead. The keypad is touch sensitive and each key featured with backlit so it’s easy to use in dark as well. The fingerprint sensor is located above the keys and works super-fast. I have not tried the magnetic keys yet, so I have no experience to share about that. And of course, it can be lock and unlock from inside using the small knob.

    I have downloaded the app on my phone and the connecting was easy and smooth, it only took a few minutes and few clicks on the app, is really easy to use and very intuitive. Once the phone is connected with the smart lock, some extra features will be “unlocked” (sorry for this bad pun hahahaha) like lock and unlock with the app or set custom time to lock or unlock the door. Unfortunately, the remote access Via a Gateway is sold separately.

    There is only one thing to mention as a bad point and this is the only reason, I gave 4 starts instead of five. The lock is required to insert 4 batteries in order to work. This is a bit of a disappointment as I would expect to have a built-in battery instead which is more user friendly and easier to charge then keep changing the batteries after a period of time.

    Apart from this this, I highly recommend this smart lock to use at your home workplace, for your garage or cellar door.

    Priced at 139.99 for this keyless entry door lock is expensive but quite creative and innovative! As someone who is not good at DIY, this was quite easy to put together and assemble as this fits easily on most doors in terms of the lock, not only does it have a finger print feature but also passcode which is so cool as there’s two methods to get in. As someone who house shares, I was particularly happy to receive this as I feel as if I have more security and safety now. This door lock is a life saver and such a good tool to have! Better then having a door key around with you as this is more practical and secure. The pricing is expensive as I said but in my opinion worth the price tag as it works very well and does what it should. Overall, would recommend

    Very well packaged and heavy duty. It feels durable and high quality. The lock was very easy to install after watching the video, setup was also straight forward. Easy to use lock and unlock with fingerprint, phone, keypad, and also key.
    The fingerprint reader works really well and is the fastest way to lock and unlock the lock. It is quick and painless to program every users individual code and fingerprint. App connection was a breathe and also allows you to change settings very quickly through the app.
    This key lock makes the life much easier. Kids are loving it and so are the adults. No longer have to carry keys. The battery it comes with is rechargeable and I haven’t had any issues yet, note that you do have to charge it before installing

    I was nervous about getting this, as I was worried the installation would be a difficult task. Well thankfully there are a few options to help you. You can read the manual, scan the QR code on the last page of the manual to get the installation video, or you can search for the video on YouTube. It took me a while to get an understanding of what I had to do, but thankfully I managed it.

    The lock itself is super secure. The fingerprint reader is responsive and has no trouble reading your fingerprint. There may be one or two times where you need to adjust your positioning of your finger to get an accurate reading, but mostly there is no issue. It looks very sleek, and modern too. Once locked in, it fastens tight and keeps your rooms secure. Very good and worth the price.

This product comes with good instructions, install videos and a template. Really pleased, lots of interface options, very sturdy and well made. For sure recommend this digital lock and follow the steps for install and you’ll have a great result.

    I’ve been meaning to get a smart lock for some time. The installation was easy. Finger reader works just perfectly and if you ever get locked out for any reason it’s very easy to open with a key if needed. Also works great for kids. The lock also works with customizable codes.

    if you need to remotely lock this using your phone from different premises you need the gateway, we needed this as a secondary lock for someone who wanders when they have periods of confusion, it will be perfect for this,it looks smart and is solid and everything works very well, it was a bit fiddly so allow yourself time and dont rush

    Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI have only had this installed for a few days so this review comes with a caveat that it is just first impressions. But so far I am liking this. I guess the real test will be in how long it lasts and how well the finger print pad works. Compared to the competition it was extremely good value, and it appears to be very solidly made. the casing at the back is meatal (although the black one has the appearance of plastic which is a shame).

    This was the only lock on the UK market that I could find that did everything that I wanted it to. You can unlock either with a code or fingerprint, and it has a ‘hidden’ mechanical key option so you have an emergency back-up plan (as long as you remember to keep the mechanical key somewhere useful). And it unlocks itself, you don’t have to turn any knobs as well as use your fingerprint/code (which you do need to do with the barrel type smart locks).

    It’s worth reading the instrutions thoroughly before installing, and looking online at some of the videos – my one criticism would be that the instructions that come with it are very sparse – particularly on installation. I am an experienced DIYer and have fitted a quite a few non-smart locks and latches from scratch. If you don’t already have the necessary holes cut you need to have a level of competence with drill bits and a mortice jig to get things in the right place (see below). The pictures in the instructions are also really tiny, but after a lot of staring and squinting I did manage to figure it out. There are a couple of videos on installing online, and there may be something written online. It would be useful if the printed instructions gave a link to some more detailed online instructions. Or even better if the printed instructions were just a bit better.

    You will need a drill attachment for cutting a large hole (which you probably don’t have in the door already). As above make sure you drill this in the right place. This is a bit scary because it can’t easily be hidden if you remove the lock later), but it is necessary – you can’t cheat by drilling a smaller hole as the attachment mechanism and the cable need the space. And if the door isn’t already drilled out to fit the tube lock you will need to do this – I have done these with a chisel and a drill – but it’s much easier if you buy a mortice jig, which works with your drill and usually comes with router type bits. Just be careful to make sure everything is screwed up tightly. And if you have a hollow door (most hollow doors have a 30cm block around where the handles and lock go) you will need to check where the solid bit is (using one of those electronic beam detector thingies) and make sure you are drilling into this and not into the hollow bit of the door

    Another thing to watch for – the backset (distance between the edge of the door and the spindle) on this is about 57mm. The backset on my exisitng door handle is 44mm – so the lock pad and the door handle aren’t in line and it looks a messy on both sides of the door. I am hoping that I can replace the latch with a deeper one and move the door handle over a bit without the old screw-holes being exposed. It’s quite easy to disguise old screw-holes on my rustic looking doors, but this isn’t so easy on lighter cleaner woods, so it’s something to be aware of. It would be helpful if the advertising for the product made the backset distance more prominent as this is quite important with lmortice locks and latches.

    One thing to keep in mind is that the spindle and spindle-hole (which is cross shaped) aren’t central to the lock, or to the circular cut-out – so don’t drill your big hole with the spindle point in the centre – otherwise you will be filing the top of your hole for half an hour to adjust its position to get it to fit :o/. The kit does come with a template – so this is not a criticism – just something to watch out for as, if you install a lot of locks, you can get a bit gun-ho about it and start following your previous experience rather than looking at the thing in front of you (or at least that’s what I did).

    Another thing to note is that the mechanism has a tiny switch to switch from right to left hand operation, and I managed to get this wrong – so the lock closed when it should open and opened when it should closed. But if this happens you don’t need to take it all apart to fix – you can correct it easily through the phone app.

    The lock does need the phone app – you can’t work it without – and once you have downloaded this it’s all fairly self-explanatory. It works through blue-tooth, and there is an option to set up a gateway so that you can use it remotely – which means that you are potentially hackable, but it also means that you can let people in from a distance so could be handy.

    And the lock speaks to you, in an annoying American (sorry USA) accent. The good news is that you can turn this off in the app, and its actually quite useful to start with while you are figuring out how it works and what the various combinations of lit screen mean.

    I did have a problem last night in that, after a shower, none of my fingers (I had previously programmed in 3) would open the door. I reset them and, as of this morning, they are still working.

    By way of comparison I have used a barrel type smart lock, with keypad and finger print on the handle, on another door (about 50 cheaper) but there are two reasons why I wouldn’t use this again. Firstly, the back-set on the lock that it went into was only 44mm – which isn’t enough space to comfortably get your hand around a door knob (between the knob and the door frame) to open it. This is something that you need to watch out for when switching between lever handles (which can be closer to the edge of the door and the doorframe) and door knobs (which need a bit of space and a larger back-set lock). But perhaps more importantly the barrel type lock didn’t have a mechanical key option for if and when the electrics fail. It did have a key (which is a bit misleading in the advertising) but it is only a key that activates the electronic lock). So if you forget your password and the fingerprint fails you can use it, but if the electronics fail you are locked out. You also couldn’t turn off the sound (American accent woman) on this one. And in order to unlock the door you do also have to turn the knob, but this does operate the latch as well, so you only have to turn one thing. But you have to turn it rather a long way before it engages, which might sound minor but if it’s a door that you use frequently then you want things to be as quick as possible.

    An addition to this a few weeks later. The fingerprint pad often doesn’t recognise my finger – I think this is a problem with older fingers that become cracked as its also in issue on my phone. Its better on my middle finger (yes I do get the irony of this). This in istelf isn’t the problem though – the lock has an alarm that goes off after 5 unsuccesfull attempts (on the all-black version) which is very annoying. I run a B&B so this isn’t something I can put up with as it would disturb my guests. Interestingly though, I have now installed the black and silver version of this lock on another door, and this doesn’t seem to have an alram. I have emailed Reveno to ask about this, and to ask if there is any way to turn off the alarm on the all black lock (I couldn’t see it on the app). I will update if I get more news.

    There isn’t much to add to the deadline of this review. Very solid built product, very esthetic design and simple to use. Installation is a breeze for any DIYeyer and for configuration, just follow simple instructions. you have verios of security options to choose from, with keys should any of electronic options stop functioning. Only one I have disabled was pin code that can be evesdropped from distance, otherwise lock is very good additon to any home security. The only comment I cannot make at this stage is battery life, has to wait for a while to see.

    This is an ultra safe & secure electronic deadbolt lock for your door. It can be opened using fingerprint id, a coded keypad, smart phone app, scanning your card, or mechanical key to unlock. It locks automatically each time the door shuts. It can store 200 fingerprint and ID card details & 150 pass code numbers so different members of staff could enter if u were using it on a staff room or business address for example. It is powered by batteries that will open the door approx 7200 times & there is a low battery reminder. U can use on internal doors or an external door if there is a porch above to protect the lock from getting wet if it rains. U will need to drill an extra hole into the door lock to install it but full instructions are included & there is a demonstration video on youtube too. It will definitely improve the security of your room or premises. It was very well packaged in a box with all parts & accessories needed when it was delivered.

    Very responsive and reliable. I was surprised how good this is. Far superior to my previous Yale smart lock full of features.
