The fitting crew where top notch, really polite and very professional.
The washer itself is very quiet and easy to use the display tells you how to operate, the dryer checks the load before starting so it adjusts the timer for the load in the machine.
I purchased this because my old (well I say “old” – but really a 1.5 years old) washing machine broke and it wasn’t worth repairing it.
So I purchased this as I thought maybe if I spend a bit more on a washing machine, it will last longer… The fact you can take out insurance when purchasing it is reassuring.
The washing machine is quiet, and I mean very quiet. At one point I thought it stopped half way through until I looked inside the drum and it was spinning the clothes around very fast! I don’t know how it’s possible to spin so fast and not really make a noise…
A lot of bad reviews in general about washer dryers, but it’s most likely because they overfill them. There is a max line in the washing machine that you can see when you open the door. Do not fill above the line and you should be fine. I tend to load laundry under that line (about half way). With this washer dryer, clothes aren’t as creasy as other washer dryers I’ve had before.
The add wash feature is OK but unless you are very early into the washing, then it’s probably not a good idea to add dirty washing into nearly clean washing (probably won’t even get washed that well depending on where it is in the cycle). It works though…
There’s a great number of wash programmes you can select from – and it shows you estimated times. If you have it set up – you get a notification on your phone when it’s complete as well which is great. There’s also a programme which is designed to clean the drum and door which should be run regularly (if I remember correctly, after about every 40 washes – you’ll get an alert when you should run it). Although I would also recommend running some washing machine cleaner through every now and then for limescale etc.
The one thing that I dislike is the door. It’s so dark that it’s really hard to see inside the washing machine. But on the other hand – it does make it look modern.
Power consumption is also good on both washing and drying. Bear in mind that any tumble dryer uses up a lot of power, but this one doesn’t seem to use so much. After tumble drying, sometimes the washing machine tells you to wait before you open the door (and it locks the buttons and doors) to stop kids etc from opening the door and touching the hot metal. I don’t think there’s a way to forcefully unlock it (at least I haven’t found a way).
Overall it’s a great, smart and modern looking washing machine from a trusted brand.
I also find that Samsung are very good with honoring warranties which is one of the main reasons why I went for the brand. I’ve had tablets, mobile phones etc from them and when they’ve had issues, their support has been superb and provided repairs very quickly. Great trustworthy brand.

This is the first washing machine I bought in a really long long long time. It’s a massive improvement to the old one I had. It washes more and the clothes are cleaner then ever before. The fact it can dry really helps too. Smaller washes can be dried right after running the wash, big washes might need to be split. It’s a great machine. Couldn’t connect it with smart things app tho, but that’s okay as it doesn’t stop the machine from working. Also paid for installation, but they couldn’t fit it as the hose was too small, ended up fitting it myself and it worked out just fine. Bought a hose extension.
It is quiet and very easy to use. It has tons of washing options, from fast in 15 minutes to super intensive for almost 3 hours. It has a convenient display that always shows you the time remaining at the end of the wash cycle
The adwash is great as there always is a sock uv forgotten to put in.

Has a lot of different programmes ranging from a quick wash that 15mins.
I like that u can use the smart things app and it’ll tell u on ur Samsung phone or TV that ur washer has finished. U can add the smart things skill to alexa.
U can’t start or control ur wash with the app but I don’t mind that.
It plays a tune at the end of the wash but I don’t mind that…u can turn that off.
Not used the dryer function yet but the washer is great.
Ur meant to use liquid with this washer but I had powder in so I just put some in the drum with the washing and all was fine.
Fabulous machine, but much deeper than my last Samsung. Sticks out a little from the worktop. New control system easy to use and loads of options.
