This is a great product to fill those holes where wasps get under the roof tiles and build a nest .
Very easy to cut and push into holes filling gaps , will order this product again.can recomend it to anybody .
You need good strong scissors to cut it , and it suggests soaking in engine oil to reduce corrosion. Stuffed four holes but mouse still got in. Will have to find more holes.
I can’t praise Steel Wool Rodent Control enough. It’s a simple yet highly effective method for keeping rodents at bay. Placing steel wool in potential entry points is a humane and chemical-free solution that truly works, providing peace of mind and protection for my home.
Paired with some sealant and foam I was able to close the gaps I had that could’ve been potential entries. Be careful and make sure you use the gloves. It’s sharp and your hand will hurt without them. Decent price but could also be bought for less.
Good quality wire wool used to fill in gaps where mice and rats get in (we live near fields) as they don’t like the texture! Enough to fill in future gaps as they arise.

Basically it’s a roll of wire wool. Careful is the key word with this, or you will end up with fine pieces of it in your fingers…..
I think it helped to stop the rats digging and crawling under the fence…. not 100% sure though.

As an animal lover I try my hardest not to harm or even exterminate any insect or animal, so when I came across this idea on how to stop mice from visiting my home via holes (small and large) I just had to take this project on. I filled all the holes with this wire wool, so easy to use, easy to cut (remember to wear gloves) and one of my field cameras I placed alongside the outside of my home picked up a mouse being put off from entering by the wire wool. Ideal for stopping a hole that a rat had found; packed into the hole from both inside and out, we had no more nocturnal visitors!

Use this with Expanding foam
I bought this for our rat infestation, simply to fill in the rat holes and seal it with expanding foam. Worked a treat, even the pest control guys were impressed.

Stop neighbour’s rats visiting
Neighbour has a rat problem and the furry friends occasionally visit through a small gap between the garden fence and extension. Shoved this into the gap and no more garden visits!

This product is great and does exactly what is ment to. We had rats getting in to the shed and to the bottom of the house. We’ve blocked all the holes with the steel wool and so far no sign of rats getting in.
Worked
Had a cheeky little mouse invade our flat for a number of weeks. Would pop out bold as brass through various different holes most days but not once was tempted by a humane trap with peanut butter. We’ve since plugged up all the holes we know of with this stuff and so far (it’s been at least 2 weeks) no sign of the critter.

It’s really easy to use but only with gloves on. So far I haven’t seen any rats, fingers crossed it works!

Quick fix to keep out rodents
I bought this on recommendation of a friend to block gaps in roof tiles so rodents couldn’t get into the loft space. I found it quick and easy to use and, fingers crossed, I hope it does the job.

Used this to block hole round outlet pipe where I think rats were getting into wall space. It was easy to cut and pliable enough to poke into hole around pipe, but also very sturdy and strong. No sign of the little buggers since!

I ordered this steel wool to block up some holes in my garage after discovering a mouse. It seems to have done the trick as I’ve not seen any since. There was a decent amount in the pack and good value for money.
Laid in wall/floor spaces and a hole in the floor that a washing machine pipe goes in. Still have just under half of it left. Been 4 weeks and haven’t seen or heard any traces of a mouse.
AAA+++ great goods great price easy transaction and speedy delivery…used to block some exit / entry holes and fill the void between the fascia and sofitt boards in the roof of our outhouse, then filled with expanding foam…he had a problem for that past five months with rats in the roof they have been expedited and access now denied ! I know these products work well for this purpose… don’t forget to use gloves and use tin-snips to cut the wire-wool…
I bought this product to fill a very hole in the wall made by a mouse. The product comes with a pair of gloves and cuts very easily with scissors. Not seen signs of that mouse again as we filled up the hole as soon as the mouse jumped back in. My parcel arrived the next day, much earlier than predicted. I would not hesitate to buy again. I thoroughly recommend this product.
