Small but strong!

Our Fruit Fly Traps may seem small, but they are very effective. Place or stick them near your fruit bowl or fruit container to get rid of fruit flies in an effective and biological way.

Against fruit flies

Fruit Fly Traps are highly effective against fruit flies, but does not control fungus gnats. If you are bothered by small black flies in and around your plants, they are most likely fungus gnats.

Hoverflies

The Fruit Fly Trap does not work against these fungus gnats. To catch these pesky hoverflies, use our yellow trap.

The thing works great. I still don’t know where all of those damn fruit flies came from, but I know where they went: down to the bottom of the small bottle.

I was slightly sceptical but was fed up of fruit flies and just thought to give it a go. Stuck one close to the kitchen bin during the summer (the main source of the pests) and after a few days, I was surprised to find a lot fewer flying around and quite a few in the bottle.

The product was easy to use, and very quickly trapped loads of fruit flies. I had to buy a second pack to get rid of the stragglers, but they are all gone now. Highly reccommended.

I wasn’t expecting much from these but honestly they’re amazing. As soon as I put them out the fruit flies showed an interest. An hour later there were around 5–10 flies crawling around each one. That was yesterday- I’ve just checked and there’s probably around 30-40 flies inside of each bottle. I didn’t even realise there were that many flies in the house! Highly recommend!

This product is amazing.I have had a lot of fruit flies in this house since I moved in and bought this product and It worked straight away. They all congregated to the two that I used.Bad side one of them fell off the wall so had to just sit it on counter.About a week later and I have not sen any fruit flies so I would definitely recommend. Not sure when to replace though as it said 3 weeks but there is still a lot of stuff in the wee jars..including fruit flies lol.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersOur office was plagued by those horrible tiny fruit flies, particularly in and around our waste bins and near the sink in the office kitchen area. Tried fly papers and Raid fly spray and nothing worked. Bought these, opened the bottle and stood them around our kitchen area, near the sink and waste bin and they each had a few flies in them within an hour. Came into the office after the weekend and we are completely fly-free and the bottles each have about 10 to 20 flies in them. Great product that works really well. Highly recommended. Can’t comment on ‘adhesion’ as we did not stick the bottles anywhere – just stood them on the window sill and worktop.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter a summer of fruit flies in our house, especially plagued in the kitchen, I was hoping they’d die off in the cool autumn. That didn’t happen, and we were at the end of October with the little flies everywhere. Buying this fly killer was a last, desperate attempt to rid us of them. On arrival, they were smaller than perhaps what I thought but within the first hour of being put out, they were claiming their first victims. Finally we were winning this battle. I placed one on our kitchen window frame where there were a lot of flies near the sink, and then one on the wall above our kitchen bin.
It has been 9 days and we haven’t seen a single fruit fly. The bottle of Super Ninja is full of dead fruit flies in the bottom of it.
    Highly recommend this product.

I had tried everything to get rid of our fruit flies – but this product, is amazing. Currently their are 100s of fruit flies in the small bottle and they are no more. Very happy as there were many in our kitchen and despite cleaning and wiping surfaces, putting all fruit in the fridge, using cider apple vinegar with cling film, etc, I have to say this has worked. Very happy. Long may it last.

I don’t usually give feedbacks but really this one is a 100% deserved one ! So basically we had this food flies issue for like a week and we tried so many things like sprays , killing them one but one and etc ! However I felt like they were coming more and more ! I was checking on Amazon something to help me get rid of them and I got so lucky I found this product. I rate it 10/20 as after a day they’re were literally all inside this small bottle and after sound 2 days they’re were all gone literally! Greta product ! I will have it in mind for future

I was initially skeptical if this would actually work in trapping the recent influx of fruit flies that I’ve had flying around in my kitchen. The instructions were really easy to follow – remove the cap and cover to reveal the sticky tape – and voil! Within 2 days, most of those pesky bugs were inside the bottle and nowhere to be found flying around! I’m impressed.

There’s also no scent to the product so you don’t really notice it’s there. Although the liquid in the bottle is bright, as long as you hide it somewhere behind some kitchen items, it’s out of sight.

This trap was VERY attractive to the fruit flies.

You have to be a bit patient, as you look over and see something like 5 of them just sitting around at the top of the funnel, and you have to wait for them to go down into the trap usually when you’re not looking, but if you leave it long enough, you will find a lot of dead ones at the bottom.

As per my review title, it did fall off the cupboard where I stuck it after a few hours, but fortunately I could still use it and I just left it standing on the counter top.

It took me a few days to get rid of the flies / stop seeing them, but during that time the smell didn’t dissipate and the trap was still effective. I’ve still left it on the side to try and trap any stragglers that may have been missed in the original purge.

I have purchased this item twice now, the first time was for a genuine infestation, we couldn’t access the kitchen anymore because a black cloud of thousands of fruit flies were just in every corner, cupboard, and crack and they just kept breeding. I purchased this to help deal with it after spraying two full bottles of fly killer and seeing it do very little to the overall population. Once I purchased this and set both of them up in different hotzones in the kitchen it took about 4 days before almost all of them were gone, and about 6 days until we had nothing left.

Second purchase was recently, parents had a fruit fly issue as they started making wine. They set these up in two different rooms and about 3 days later there are none left.

I have purchased fruit fly traps in the past but none have been as effective as this.

    I highly recomend it!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersSuper Ninja is a very effective natural insecticide. The handy small bottle is not intrusive and yet it catches many flies. The smell is very subtle to humans but very strong to fruit flies, who are very attracted to it. It also comes in a handy bottle with lid, for easy storage of any unused liquid.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our Users24 hours later and no flies near it. Disappointing. There is not one fly inside it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI suddenly came home to a fruit fly problem and my old remedies didn’t seem to be working. I bought this on a whim as it seemed hit or miss but I was willing to try it and I’m glad I did. It says replace after 3 weeks and I can see why they said that. I placed it high up in an area where they roughly were and after the 3 weeks, there was a massive decrease in them. I held the bottle up to light and could see plenty of them had fallen in. There’s no odur, not unless you’re sticking your nose in it, even at that, it’s like a mild vinegar. Very easy to use, adhesive looked quality even though I didn’t use it, I think it’s a bargain and if you’ve them in multiple areas, I don’t see why you wouldn’t get a multipack. However, it seems to just be luck and time if you can put it in the right spot and leave it be.

I used this product for a swarm of tiny fruit flies with great effect . Had tried everything from sprays to smoke bombs and it seemed nothing could eradicate this problem Id had for over a year. After the two bottles arrived i immediately opened them and placed them using the adhesive strip in the most infected areas . Hey presto after 10 days the fruit files have been eradicated and my home is free from them at last . This product really works-give it a little time and it does the job .

very good fruit fly trap, use to eleminate a one off fruit infestation in building. Take a bit to start working, to speed up, just wipe the top dry, with wipe, this will prevent the fruit flys from drinking from any droplets, that may remain in the top, after this they slowly will, wander in and sometimes out, but will eventually come in contact with the liquid, and won’t be able to fly out.

  34. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

Make sure you properly wipe down the funnel on the top as I didn’t right away and it meant they all just sat on the lid and didn’t fall in, once I dried it properly I caught all of them within a couple of days

We had been struggling with fruit flies for months. Literally, months. We had tried everything. In the space of three weeks, this little miracle has cleared the pests out.
Initially, I didn’t think it was going to work – the flies hovered around it, but flew away. Yet within a couple of hours, several had been captured.

I ordered this as I had SO many fruit flies in my house. Couldn’t get rid of them no matter what I did.
I was due workmen in my house and didn’t want them accidentally inhaling one
Ordered 2 of these little pots to catch them, and they were immediately drawn to the smell! I went back in the next day, and there were still a few flies hanging about. BUT nothing compared to before. I looked back that evening and there were so many flies dead in the tub. So 100% works and fairly quickly! 100% recommend.
The only thing I will say, is don’t stick up somewhere high. I put it on my tile and it fell off spilling the vinegar. Keep it on a tile low, or don’t stick it!

    Does the job!!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’ve been plagued by annoying fruit flies and it doesn’t matter what I tried to get rid of them, they insisted on living. Rude.
I bought this as a last ditched attempt before blowtorching the kitchen and I have to say, it really did the trick! It took about 2-3 days but it’s done exactly what it said it would do. There are still one or two flying around, I can only surmise that they saw the fate that befell their mates and decided to stay away from the bottle of death but I’ll manage to kill them okay – or my cat will.
All in all an excellent product which was well worth the price. Killed the little *^%#$ and without spraying chemicals all over the kitchen.

It has an adhesive bit that sticks to a surface near the problem (I stuck mine to my little brown bin.) We bought 1 bottle of this stuff and it managed to get all the fruit flies in our kitchen trapped and killed.

Ignore any of the negative reviews honestly.

The sticky pad isn’t the best but if you put it somewhere like a window sill or just in the vicinity of the flies, it will work.

even emptying daily and washing thoroughly. This little bottle got rid almost immediately with no sign of residue anywhere and it’s been in kitchen ever since, doing a great job with loads of liquid left. Only problem – it didn’t stick on bin for long so is now sat on windowsill next to bin. Still doing job!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese worked great at getting rid of those super pesky fruit flies I had. I still have like 1 flying around that won’t give in but most of them took to the traps right away. I tried to put one on the wall and it stayed for a bit but, when I went back, it was on the floor. I’m not sure if my cat knocked it down? I put it somewhere I didn’t think she got to but found out later that she does jump on that area sometimes and may have knocked it over with her tail? I’ll let you decide. It still worked and obviously it didn’t hurt my cat (thankfully).

I know im comparison to some my photos dont look amazing but i was reluctant to use it so this to me is an amazing result. They had me going crazy so i thought 5 for one is alittle more then id like to pay but seeing how they worked id happily pay it again. At one point it did fall off but i was able to restick it somewhere else and the adhesive had no problem.
My only other issue was that the funnel ment that the fly could actually go inside and then come back out unharmed so sometimes i have to put a bit of card on top to catch them in there. Either would i would definitely say it works

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersIt was a turf war.

    We were invaded, overrun.

They claimed the kitchen as their own. We were hopeless. We couldn’t move without a swirling assault emerging from the surface and scattering in the air.

But they never anticipated the strength of our allies and the weapons they supplied.

They fell right into our trap. It was carnage. Drowning on their own greed generations were erased in a matter of hours.

We live again, rebuilding to how we once were before the invasion.

Jokes aside, this stuff absolutely did the trick. I was on the brink of completely losing my entire mind.

Read reviews that the adhesive doesn’t work well so we just put them on surfaces out of the way. Also saw reviews that this product doesn’t work, those are absolute crap. 100% works and works quickly. We put out 3 traps and within minutes the wee shits were going inside. Within 48 hours we were in the clear.

I took a photo of the bottom of one to show the result, another one has a similar amount inside and the third has maybe 1/3 the amount of flies in it, however it was placed in an area where a homemade trap was so perhaps they had learned our tactics and avoided it.

Buying another pack so we can get on top of it should this happen before it escalates to save the stress and disgust.

Golden Review Award: 52 From Our UsersI can’t believe my first ever Amazon review is for a fruit fly trap, but I almost didn’t buy these based on the negative reviews so I thought I’d add my experience in case it’s helpful to anyone else.

We had a fruit fly infestation about two weeks ago after our council stopped collecting food and garden waste due to COVID. They were everywhere but particularly gathering around our food waste caddy, fruit bowl, cat’s food bowl and some fresh sunflowers we had.

We bought the two pack of fruit fly ninjas when we were desperate and they worked amazingly well. I was slightly disappointed that a cloud of flies didn’t suddenly come and swarm them as soon as they were opened, but within about 6 hours there was a noticeable difference. Within 12 hours I could tell they were working and could see a lot of flies from the bottom. Within 24 our problem was pretty much solved, and within 48 the flies were all gone.

The picture doesn’t even fully do justice to how many flies are in there! There are layers of them!

I can only think that the people who left negative reviews had a different type of fly rather than actual fruit flies? Ours were definitely fruit flies!

Would buy this again in an instant if we found ourselves in the same situation – highly recommend!
