Great product does exactly what it says on the tin: A great product and great for diagnosing lots of faults on cars.
From heated seats, windows and even battery drains as can see what is staying turned and n using the heat it is giving off.
Amazing the fault you can print of pictures and take videos to go as evidence to give to customers.
Als Hausbesitzer wird man in der aktuellen Lage dazu gezwungen sich mit der Hausenergie bzw. Abwrme zu beschftigen. In diesem Zuge bentigte ich eine Wrmebildkamera, die mich beim Ermitteln von Kltebrcken untersttzen kann.
Das Gert kommt in einem eigenen Koffer in dem alle Teile ihren festen Platz haben (sogar das Handbuch) und somit nicht rumfliegen knnen. Der Koffer ist aus hrterem Kunststoff und hat zwei Verschlsse ebenfalls aus Kunststoff. Im Koffer enthalten sind das Gert selbst, ein Ladekabel, ein Ladegert (5V 2A) und das Handbuch. Das Handbuch selbst ist verstndlich gehalten und man merkt, dass die deutsche bersetzung professionell umgesetzt wurde, wodurch das Lesen und verstehen einfach fllt.
Die Verarbeitung des Gertes ist lobenswert. Der Pistolengriff und die Bedienknpfe sind gummiert. Die Rckseite ist aus Kunststoff. Es gibt keine scharfen Kanten die stren, smtliche “Ecken” sind abgerundet worden.
Die Auflsung des Displays ist fr meine private Anwendung vollkommen ausreichend, das zhlt auch fr die Reaktionszeit. Die Klte- und Wrmestellen sind deutlich zu sehen. Gerade um Fenster herum, in den Raum-Ecken und fr Radiatoren ist dies wichtig. Das Gert zeigt fr den gegenwrtigen Bereich stets die maximale und minimale Temperatur an. Zustzlich gibt es drei Zeiger, eine in der Mitte der fixiert ist. Dieser zeigt die Temperatur an, des Bereiches auf das er gerichtet ist. Die zwei anderen Zeiger sind dynamisch und ermitteln die Temperaturen die niedriger und hher sind als die, die der Zeiger in der Mitte anzeigt.
Auffllig ist, dass alle 4-5 Sekunden ein leichtes und dumpfes klicken zu hren ist und genau zu diesem Zeitpunkt der Display und das Bild fr eine halbe Sekunde einfriert.
Von der Bedienung her ist das Gert simple gehalten. Alle Einstellungen sind ber das Men schnell zu erreichen. Beim Einschalten braucht das Gert ca. 5 Sekunden zum Hochfahren. Das Ausschalten bentigt dann erneut ca. 5 Sekunden.
Insgesamt ein robustes und zuverlssiges Gert, welches fr private Zwecke hilfreich ist, um bspw. Radiatoren, Fenster und Raum-Ecken zu untersuchen.

super gert, fr den hausgebrauch absolut genug. sehr empfindlich und genau. mach 10 fps, das reicht aus. einziger kleiner mangel, alle 3 sekunden bleibt das bild fr halbe sekunde stehen, ist nicht tragisch aber bemerkbar. rgerlich ist auch, da sie sehr oft in aktion ist, htte mir ein paar eur sparen knnen.

I bought this infrared thermal imaging camera to make some surveys on the electricity in the house. There have been some issues with the electricity in the house we live in, and we asked a professional for an evaluation. We decided to check what exactly was wrong to understand if the evaluation was accurate or if we could look for a better option.
The device is easy to use; there are very easy instructions to follow and it can be used in a variety of jobs, from electricity to fixing cars and electronics.
So we bought the device and started our inspection, and we found the issues within minutes.
We checked the thermal resolution for the electricals and checked with the device which has given accurate measurements, having the options from 120 to 450 degrees Celsius.
-We adjudicated the emissivity and colour palette to have a more accurate and easy-to-understand temperature.
The device also comes with a great warranty package and technical support with a 3GB built-in memory card.
-The option to combine the thermal image with the real image, which gives a more complete understanding of what the problem might be,
After consulting our analysis, we called another electrician to see if he would get us the same quote. Well, we got it 3 times cheaper because we knew exactly what the problems were. So we got ourselves a bargain.
In the beginning, we doubted that the camera would be good. However, after using it for a bit, it was quite easy to understand. The picture was clear, the readings were accurate, and we had fun with it also.
If you do not understand something, just make sure to read the instruction manual because it is easy to understand. Just make sure to read it.
We are planning on buying one for my brother, who is an electrician, and this would be very helpful for him.

There is plenty of options in the menu system as you can see from the pictures.
It has an internal battery that you can charge via USB (micro-USB with rubber cover) or mains USB adaptor (10W), both lead and charger supplied. The battery lasted 2 hours playing around with it straight out of the box. Update (21/06/22): The battery lasts for days on a full charge, where I have only charged it once but have used it all week.
The screen is fairly reflective, although the brightness can be increased for easy viewing in bright sunlight (see video). The trigger button allows you to take a picture, and then press it again to save the image; this is a nice feature as it means you can use it one-handed without the need to press other buttons. By pressing the left and right arrows you can alter the opacity of the thermal image over the top of the camera image (see PC Explorer image), plus you can calibrate the overlay so that the thermal image lines up with the camera image.
Images are saved as JPG files and are around 125kB in size and retain all the information on the screen (see PC Explorer image). Both max and min temperatures are displayed at the bottom of the screen along with the time, where this can be turned on or off by pressing the up button. The Emissivity, centre (spot) temperature, USB symbol, battery meter and thermal colour pallet are all displayed out of the way on the screen also.
When connected to a PC/Mac (not tested with Mac) you have full access to the images, where you can copy, move and delete them, plus the USB speed is very fast, although I can’t measure it just yet as 5 images are instantly transferred.
Everything about this unit feels robust and well built with a solid grip.
The box is a nicely designed injection moulding with propper hinges (pins, not bending plastic) and gives the device maximum collision protection.
I will be using this to measure and investigate my home solar pool heating and home solar powered CNC machine cutting temperatures to generate more YouTube content on my channel dev255.

Because the image quality is quite good compared to devices from other manufacturers in the similar price range. I would also like to add that there is a great and very detailed manual. It’s the first time I’ve completely learned about a device just by reading the manual.
Thermal imagers, in particular, require precise and understandable instructions. This is understandable only when clearly explained. They explained the product very well in the manual.
Of course, I did a lot of research before purchasing such an expensive product. It’s a Chinese company, but it’s also registered in the UK. Plus their tech is in the UK and that’s great! They have a 60-day warranty and offer lifetime technical support. So I won’t lose 360 when the product fails. This is awesome!
Also, don’t expect fancy features or weird menus. This product is totally user friendly. It is easy enough to use when you open the machine without knowing anything, but I can say that it is very detailed for professionals.
You can always mark on the screen the points with the highest and lowest temperatures, and if you want, the temperature in the middle of the image. (This provides ease of use)

You can use this product easily, but even if you don’t know anything, the manual explains everything and you don’t have to strain your brain. Just read 🙂
You can mix the real image with the thermal image in 5 different percentages. Usually other devices don’t have this comparison. (I think when there is a price difference, there is a difference in quality and features)
You have the option to move the real image if it does not overlap 100% with the thermal image. In this way, you can intervene manually in the overlapping process.
And resolution! Let’s see if you can find another camera with this resolution/price ratio. Because I tried cheaper ones before paying that much money. This is the best! 🙂
Je ne peux juger s’il est prcis, mais cet appareil est simple d’utilisation, et je me rgale tester des zones chaudes et froides dans mon habitation. On voit clairement s’il y a des fuites thermiques aux portes et fentres. Un plus apprciable pour savoir si les travaux ont t bien faits, surtout si on a pay cher.
This is a good product, but the view from the thermal imaging camera and the standard camera lens lags behind the heated element, the place of the heated element does not coincide with the element seen in the lens, so this is a minus .. generally it is a good product 🙂 PS i get support is avalaible calibration so it perfect 🙂
I’m using it all the time, to locate draughts and cold patches in the house. Hopefully this will help save on energy bills. It is easy to use and you can save, review and compare images on the computer.
I spent quite a while looking at different thermal imaging products at low price points, and eventually settled on this one, as on the basis of other purchasers’ reviews I was sceptical of the robustness of the iPhone plug-in devices.
I’ve not had it long enough to be able to comment on battery longevity, robustness etc.
One thing I’ve learnt already is that having a camera around the house is likely to be better than occasionally borrowing one for a few days, since the weather conditions on the days you’ve booked to borrow may not be ideal for detecting thermal problems. Of course borrowing may be free, while buying any thermal imaging camera certainly is not!
In summary, my experience so far is positive, and some interesting and usable information has been collected. So for my purposes at least, this has turned out be a worthwhile purchase. Saving CO2 rather than is the goal of my project, but if it had been the other way around I would have thought much more carefully about the cost.

I’ve been looking for a draft in my living room for ages someone suggested one of these and they were 100% right as where I aimed it I could see a blue plume of cold air blowing under my window sill, re-sealed it now, no more draft. Thanks for a top product.
It’s a bit early to say for sure but early signs are good that this will help me find the cold spots around my house. Expensive but I’m a believer that you get what you pay for.

Facendo scorrere acqua calda si riescono a individuare le tubazioni sotto il pavimento.
In realt credo che nasca per altri scopi (automobilistici?).
Purtroppo le foto che si scattano sono in formato JPEG a bassa risoluzione pertanto risulta complicato elaborare le immagini con software professionali.
Comunque rimane un buon apparecchio!
Cette camra thermique rpond compltement mes attentes, j’ai pu voir les endroits qui tait froid et chaud par rapport mon isolation et j’ai pu adapter et tout a avec du scotch pour que la chaleur ne partent pas et en mme temps qu’elle ne rentre pas l’t dans la maison pour avoir un garage plus frais.
Avec la camra, il est possible d’enregistrer et d’envoyer les captures sur un ordinateur.
Elle tient bien dans la main et n’est pas trop lourd de l’cran est assez large et les couleurs sont vives et permettent de les visualiser facilement.
Je vais attendre la fin de l’t pour voir si j’ai d’autres points froid chez moi.
For what it does, and the overall quality, it’s a very good price/specs ratio.
Hope it had a memory card slot instead internal memory only, and option for different image saving resolutions.
But overall, very satisfied with the product.
Happy with delivery speed and regrettably had to return the item as it was not appropriate for intended use
