    Great for country lanes
I needed a good lamp for riding along unlit country lanes in deepest darkest Suffolk, particularly in winter when black ice and frozen patches can be a problem. This lamp is much better than I expected and lights up the road very well, almost as well as the normal beam on my car. I was amazed to be able to make out a mouse dashing across the road about 20 feet in front of me! I like the digital countdown which shows the battery time left. It has a solid feel, although the strap for the handlebars feels a little flimsy. The only slight downside is it is quite heavy so if you wish to keep weight to the minimum, say on a racing bike, you might want something lighter.

So simple to attach and use.

    Surprisingly good!
For the price I didn’t expect the earth but these lights proved to be much better than expected. Front light especially, is very bright, easy to see what’s ahead even if completely dark (no streetlights) and very visible in flashing mode in town. The battery countdown timer is excellent, as is battery life, and the power bank option. Highly recommended.

Great light with long lasting battery
Been using for night rides through woods and moorland. Brightness is really good, as is the battery life, easily out lasts my helmet light. The display shows a full charge has over 8 hours, I’ve not ridden for long enough to get it below 6 hours. Very pleased with it.

    Front and rear bike lights
The front light is very bright and gives great vision at night and visibility to yourself during the day with the flash/SOS strobing. The meter of battery time left is useful, but alters how it rates remaining time when changing between the three fixed brightness modes and the flashing modes! To explain, when fully charged it says about 8.5/20/45 hrs depending on your choice of brightness level, but when strobing it says 100, but 100 of what? it doesn’t last anywhere near 100hrs in either strobing choices.

The rear light can only be mounted one way and can’t be turned by 90

You buy two lights, on uses a micro USB and the other a USB C and one of each is supplied. We get given these cables with various rechargeable devices over the years, which is wasteful.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhat a fantastic light!
I was a bit sceptical about these lights when I bought it but they are excellent! Great battery life, although 1hr 35min ride battery was used up as if 2 hours were used on full beam, but still… plenty of life left over and I’m not planning to cycle for 8 hrs in dark anyway. It’s good enough for me to cycle in pitch dark trail for over an hour on Downs Link Surrey/West Sussex in this time of year. They are so bright that cars are flashing me to turn them away. Also, the light saved me from riding into fallen tree from a distance as I cycle fast. I think I need to get another one of those for my partner. Very handy even to use it around the house even.

    Whats not to like!
I think its 800 lumen, obvs not 8000, i actually laughed when I read 8000.
Bear in mind lumens is basically equivalent to watts but multiply by 10 for approx equivalent.
    ie 100 w = 1000 lumens.

So 8000 lumens would be like 2 bright car headlights – ridiculous idea.

Rear light decent too, sits horizontally on seat post, bright, function usual settings, on off flash, pulse etc, rubber band fitting type.

So the front light is fine, slightly bulky, would prefer rubber band attachment but absolutely nothing wrong with this – get it while you can.

    Great lights
These lights are excellent value and quality. Super bright, I use them mainly for commuting on a low level so not to blind oncoming drivers, used for 2 weeks so far on a single charge and a lot of life left in them yet. I would recommend these lights as they are better than some of the highly branded lights which cost a lot more. Top buy

    Best bike lights
In 50 or so years of cycling, these have to be the best lights I have ever used. Front light 3 settings. Dark field paths lit up on strongest setting. Survived numerous downpours. Very solid and well made.

Does what it should, average brightness.
The bike light feels well made and very sturdy in the hand, the bracket it comes with feels cheap but seems to stay in place for on smooth roads. Overall an all round quality bike light.. I must say the highest brightness is (in my opinion) is NOT a 8000 lumen brightness at high setting compared to my last Cat eye Nano shot plus at 600 (Approx) lumens that seems to be brighter than this, the Victoper is a good light but it’s brightness is over estimated as compared to my older light which has failed after 7 plus year of all weather use. Recommended bike light but don’t expect a flood light for night riding.

    I do recommend

    Bright lights, good battery
Used the light on the first 2 hour night ride, mostly on full beam, maybe 30mins on low beam and only used 22% of the battery. It counts down how much time is left on the battery which is reassuring. The light was really bright, I went out in complete darkness and it was more than enough to see!!

    Good value bike lights
Arrived on time with charge – fitting to the bike was straightforward and both lights are bright indeed! The rear light has a few different settings if you’re into that sort of thing.

The ability to use to charge your phone (if you have your phone cable obviously) is useful too.

Amazing lights with nice and unexpected extra features
This lights set is absolutely worth the money. The front light is very sturdy, hard built with aluminium however its mount is stable enough, therefore the light will not move during your journey. Both front and rear light have multiple functions, and what’s incredible is that the front light has a surprising battery capacity and has an USB output to function as a powerbank!
The set includes 2 cables, one USB C for the front light and one Micro USB for the rear set, this means that you can charge your light and install them straight away! Also, the lights are very powerful, both of them are really visible, you can tell that the quality of the front light is premium, so don’t hesitate and get it 🙂

    Greatest light output and features.
Quality aluminium body housing 8 high power LED’s. This beats pretty much all other cycle lights. Has the added features of a digital display so you know how much power is left. Also options for lower power output to save battery. You get over 5 hours on the high brightness setting which is ample for most riding situations. Best value for money if you are looking for a quality product. Mounting is very easy with cleaver plastic mounts that you can slide the light on and off with ease. I bought 2 lights and my bike riding at night is like having car headlights on high beam.

Amazon asked me to rate this although I’ve only really just recieved it. However, it arrived on time in sensible packaging and works exactly how I hoped it would. I live in a very dark corner of Rural Devon with no street lights for miles. The lights are very bright and illuminate the path ahead very well. Some instructions would be nice to fully understand the various settings but I’m not going to fault the product for that as with a bit of playing about I think I’ve worked it out. It arrived charged and we’ve used the front light on full beam for about 3 hours and it appears it’s still around 60% full. Has all the features I wanted and for 25, I just hope it lasts as it’s a great purchase. It certainly feels solid. I’ll update if it develops a fault, so if you see none, you’ll know it’s still going strong.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNice light and bright but not 8000 lumens
This is a great light, I got it for my girlfriend when we ride on canals and woods in the parks, it’s great for this, but saying it’s 8000 lumens it’s no where near that by a long shot, I’ve yet to find anything that actually beats Magicshine monteer 8000s and the 6500s , if Victoper actually make a true 8000s that will beat Magicshine at half the price with a bombproof handle bar mount then I’d be the first to get it for sure… As to the light itself it’s robust and very bright for say the beginner on mountain bike trails, the bracket does look a bit weak at the attachment to the unit itself and that would potentially make the light redundant if it would to break off … only time will tell, as it’s quite easy to knock to one side and having to recenter it, seems to me it could come apart, I will see what I can do to either modify it or check out a replacement just incase it goes… was going to buy this for myself to, but the price has gone up from yesterday’s price of 22.09 to 36.00 so I’ll be looking at others on Amazon and see what comes up on the offers …

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersImpressive for the price!
Bought this set because I wanted to see if a cheaper light would be sufficient for me instead of investing 3 to 4 times as much in one of the more known brands. The light is bright. Is it as bright as stated? I’m not sure but for just over 20 quid, I think you’ll be pleased. The front light is metal and feels sturdy. The only downside is the rubber cover for the charging port feels like it will probably end up breaking but hopefully not and I will be careful with it. The rear light is similar with the charging port cover. I’m actually using the light as a torch too for walking the dog which is a bonus as its a nice size for carrying, feels good to hold and fits in a pocket nicely.

I’m tempted to get another set and have two mounted on handlebars to help with a wider view or to have one angled down and another slightly higher when in the woods at night so to have a nice bright view ahead and another angled down for a nice bright view on the floor but these lights will dazzle oncoming pedestrians etc so keep that in mind. Lots of cyclists I think don’t understand this or care but as someone who also drives a car, I know the importance of having lights at the right angle for the benefit of those around me. The mounts don’t feel like they’ll wobble loose either, a few reviews mentioned they wasn’t sure if they would withstand a big ride, I’m yet to fully test this but it feels like it would to me.

One thing that’s a bit odd is you can’t change the display. So if you’re using the light on the constant light modes, it’ll display time remaining. If you cycle to the flashing modes, it’ll display percent. I’d probably just prefer percent on all modes but not a big deal.

So to end this review, on the whole I’m pleased and if you keep the price in mind when coming across the little niggles, I think you will be too. Remember, it also makes a nice rechargeable torch so it’s a great little 2 for 1 product.

Delivered without a handle bar mount but deficiency resolved very quickly by Plusoeve
I ordered and received the item without any difficulty. Sadly the front light handlebar mount was missing so I’ll have to go to the trouble of returning. The front and rear lights look good and as such I’ll give it another go and will reorder the same product. I am not able to make any comments about the lights in use at this stage.
Additional information: Having messaged Plusoever Ltd (the product supplier) about the missing bracket, they replied the first working day after and offered to send out a replacement. Whilst there was an initial delivery error, I can’t fault their follow-up customer service.
Additional information: The replacement arrived very quickly and I’ve now had an opportunity to use it. The handle bar mount is of a sturdy construction, required to take the 225g weight of the light. On the couple of rides I’ve used it so far, both without street lights, I only needed to use ‘Mid’ mode. The battery status display (in hours and minutes) is a great feature, changing with each mode used.
I feel this is an excellent product and I can’t fault the after sales service from Plusoever.

The light seems very well made and the battery so far is lasting a long time on full brightness. Easily enough for 2 or three rides (2hrs a ride)
I’ve used only for night riding trails, but for the money it’s great and if used on the bars and paired up with other helmet lights this is good. I’d say it’s actually about 700-800 lm when compared to my other brand lights.

I purchased this mainly for its 8000 lumen brightness to illuminate the road at night immediately ahead of my scooter so I could see potholes, it works well.

The case is in sturdy aluminium and waterproof.
The mounting is very secure, and the light can be detached from the mounting quickly and easily to prevent theft.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery impressed!!!
Bought this to try for my commute to work for morning and nights as we move into darker times. Tried it this week and have to say I am very impressed. I cycle approx 50 minutes each way to work on a mixture of roads and cycle way and have to say that on the top setting it is extremely bright, almost dazzling in terms of being seen. In respect of lighting the way ahead it is also very good. Lights up at least 40 – 50 feet ahead when on full brightness which is perfect for the darker parts of my route to work. The back light is just a bonus which came with it. Battery life so far is looking good and it is helpful it provides a countdown in time remaining. Good value for money for my purposes.

Been only using for a few evening rides, but amazed at how bright it is. When on the cycle tracks at night it is usually daunting with my other lights. Can see for quite a distance down the old railway line in Derby.
The construction of this light has been well thought out. Nice solid item, not cheap plastic. Rear light if bright as expected.
Would definitely recommend if you are cycling on unlit roads and tracks.

Amazing battery life. Used it for 2 weeks since purchase and it’s still showing 5 plus hours at maximum brightness. Really useful how it displays tube remaining instead of % left. Product itself is very bright. I don’t think anyone can complain it’s not bright enough. Loads of options to vary brightness / flashing etc. Only slight downside is you have to cycle through all the modes to turn on and off but I think that’s quite standard. Main light seems very sturdy. Bought one initially to try out but really happy with it and I’m getting my wife an identical one.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersNot 8000 lumens, but still very bright.
The 8000 lumens is just not true, but don’t let that stop you. It is more than bright enough for unlit country lanes and in the forest. Good battery life, used it four times since first charge and still have a few hours left on full brightness. The countdown timer on each brightness setting is excellent (% charge on flashing mode). The mount is plastic but quite sturdy and it is very easy to clip light on and off. The back light has some good flashing options too, so great for being seen. It is very bright as well. I have a smaller front light that I set on flash mode to compliment this, safety first etc. It is quite long, as bike lights go, but worth it for the battery capacity. Very solid unit, metal casing and strong led block. Looks like it could take a few knocks, but I am hoping not to test that theory too much. Well worth the price.

This light has finally given me the confidence to go out cycling in the dark on country Roads. I always thought I would need to buy 100 light set to do this, but this is a bargain and has given me back my freedom on the bike in the winter. The only downside is that the front light is big and bulky, and won’t easily fit in a pocket for commuting use. Also, for urban cycling, the front light might be a bit much with dazzle being a problem for oncoming drivers, but you can always angle it to the ground. I actually bought a second set of lights after buying this, for my daily commuting use, as I prefer a more pocket version but if your commute involves rural roads this will be ideal

Great value and powerful bike lights.
The light has an led display on top which displays charge level when charging via usb and hours left when in use. The hours left changes for each of the 5 modes the light has, over 8 hours indicated in full brightness. There is a mid and low power mode along with two flashing modes each of which increases the operating time. It also functions as a powerbank so that you can charge your mobile phone (or whatever else) if you find yourself out of power.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersReally Impressed. On brightest setting lights up an English B road at least 30-50 feet.
Im very happy with this front and rear light….just done 10 miles on an english b road (october/colder but not too cold)…I fully charged the front light beforehand. I counted in my head how many seconds the minute counter would go down on the lamp indicator and it went down by one minute on the counter every 70 seconds for the hour ….naturally this may not be the case after say two hours use….just me being nerdy…yet the shine on the highest setting is great….it lights up peripherally the hedge rows to your sides and on the highest setting would easily allow you to spot a pot hole in advance. I rode on tarmac and the front lamp did not limp lower. I cannot advocate for people mountain biking with say a lot of jarring front wheel bumps…so the only thing I can’t promote in confidence is how the mount may hold up on mountain bike work….yet for tarmac work….yep……this is great. I had innitialy set my mind on a front light from a very well known British shop that does car and cycle products, it was twice the price….did some research on amazon and found this….yes…..I recommend this….genuinely I think they are kind to give you a rear light with the package too….very pleased. Will do an all night ride when get the chance and give an update on the lasting hrs of the front lamp settings. Genuinely I think this is super value for money and keep you happy certainly on tarmac surfaces. Hope this helps.

    Awesome bright ligh
Pre-emptively purchased for coming winter months where it get darker earlier, this is a very super bright front light, crystal clear white light that illuminates the road or track. It has a clear and easy to understand battery life indicator, giving remaining % and time. It shines a long way so you can see clearly and allowing others to see you also avoid obstacles when off-road or potholes when on the road.

There is no need to use this on high unless on a track or going through very dark paths/parks and am using it either on medium or low which is still very bright. ADDED BONUS: doubles up as a powerbank so i no longer need to carry additional power banks.

This light should come with a warning as i looked directly into it when testing and blinded me for a few minutes.
Just to note front light is charged via usb-c where as rear light is micro-usb, hopefully next update of this light will mean both have the same type of charging.

I work nights and i needed something thats going to make me safe and be seen while i ride at night to work. But at the same time i go out on long rides to keep fit and haveing lights on my bike that make me seen is a must for me . whats a big plus for me is that i can recharge my phone from the usb c point inside the chargeing port on the bike light in an emergancy if i needed to which is even better.and an amazing design they are made in the UK n not china they are also a quality product and are made from metal. And what makes them even better is that there rechargeable so u dont need to buy batteries plus they come pre charged but will last along time on a full charge before i needing to charged up again. Ive had many over the yrs n they dont seem to last but these are well worth the money and will last a life time. These lights are super bright and suoer amazing and im so glad i bought them.
