So useful. So good to have on standby for any spillages – wet or dry.
The vacuum isn’t a shiny, pretty version – it is a sold, sturdy beast and it will tackle anything.
I find it essential in a household consisting of horse mad people, dogs, cats and rugby – this sorts us out with no issues.
Well packaged, good quality, great value and highly recommended. A great choice.

This form-factor of vacuum is handy for anyone who needs the flexibility of a hand-held manoeuvrable hose head but who prefers to keep the base unit itself closer to hand rather than trailing around the floor. The fact that it can handle wet and dry situations makes it versatile. It also has a blower function so it can provide an additional function that might be handy in a workroom/garage style situation, perhaps for blowing crud out of the engine bay of a car.

The hose is not long, so if you were thinking you could place the unit on the floor and just venture into your target space with a long hose then this is not going to cut it. It’s a close-quarters unit with a short hose.

The suction is pretty decent – better than I was expecting.

It all feels quite decent and well-made. I have one other WESCO branded item – a compact rechargeable drill which is rather basic but gets the job done.

The price of c. 179 (at time of review) feels rather steep to me. Maybe it isn’t if you are the exact niche use-case for this item and its various functions it might seem fair, but if you’re not likely to use all the aspects of it you could find yourself saving a fair bit and going for something cheaper.

Apart from the strap that broke on first use this thing is amazing.

Im using it to clean up after my cats, hoover the car, spot hoover the kitchen.

It has really good suction and with the wide head picks up alot quickly.

The battery lasts a good amount of time and its so portable to use anywhere.

The hose isnt too long but as its easy to move its not. a big issue.

    Really like this thing.

This is a very powerful wet and dry portable vacuum, with plenty of useful features.

Unpacking and setup was easy, with a nice clear set of instructions. The 18W battery has its own charging dock, and clicks in with a reassuring sound, displaying a simple light system to indicate charging status.

The vacuum design is basic but effective, with two solid clips locking and unlocking access to the main container.

A leaky washing machine gave me the perfect excuse to put the ‘wet vacuum’ function to the test, and it worked admirably, turning a domestic emergency into something almost fun!

It was easy to empty the bucket and to clean out the filter as well – all the parts are robust and ‘no nonsense.

There is a handy strap which increases the portability of the vacuum, and it’s not too heavy.

I would have liked more than 30 minutes of use from the battery, but vacuuming is of course very power hungry. (The battery recharged in just over an hour from empty.)

Also the main hose could have been a little longer to increase reach when, for example, fiddling about among car boots and and under seats.

Overall a very solid and effective wet and dry portable vacuum, and definitely recommended if your anticipate the need to clear up liquid spills regularly.

I really like this surprisingly versatile wet and dry vac. I like the no-nonsense more commercial look of the unit which also feels like it has been built to last. Although the unit is wireless (and operates via a rechargeable battery) suction is pretty good and will easily pick up most dust and debris I’ve tested it with in my shed and car. The filter is washable and resusable so there ar no ongoing parts or accessory costs. Dus and water collection capacity is good. But what I like the most about it is to portability: because its wireless you can take it anywahere and the shoulder strap makes this easy to use on the go (and also pretty useful for doi g stair carpets – though I wouldn’t use this for carpets generally). It’s lighter than I expected also – and didn’ caue me any backache whilst I was carrying it round. Cost wise this isn’t on the cheaper end of the market for thi kind of product – but Wesco have a reputation for reliability and good quality products, so in the long term I expect it will be a sound investment. The only negative i can think of is is that the hose is just a tad on the short side (then again, the unit is so light an manoeuvrable that this was no a major hindrance to reaching areas needed to be cleaned).

This wet and dry vacuum cleaner arrived quick and it was very well packed. This is an amazing addition to anyone’s home. The are many amazing features that this vacuum has and i will try my best to mention each and every one of them so anyone can make an educated decision if to buy this or not.

    1. It’s a very powerful and versatile vacuum, the container size is 10L .The dust collection capacity is 8L, and the water collection capacity is 3L. It an amazing high capacity for an wet and dry vacuum.

    2. The cordless workshop vacuum comes with a 4AH battery for a long life, making this compact and lightweight battery vacuum easy to carry and transport, the vacuum cleaner wet and dry weighs 3.6 kg with a shoulder strap , more comfortable to use. It can easily be used in a car or anywhere outside the house without having to worry that there’s no power supply around.

    3. It take up much space, so it can be kept in the car and used anytime. The vacuum also has a blower function, which can be used to dry pet hair and leaves in the car.

    4. It has a washable/reusable filter; just rinse with tap or water.

    5. It has good heat dissipation, will not shut down due to heat during long operation.

It’s an amazing wet and dry vacuum cleaner. I am gladly recommending it to anyone.
I’ve used it in the car…it was pretty helpful. It does everything that it says it does. I can’t complain about anything. It’s worth the price for sure. Very sturdy. Good quality. Fair price.

This wet and dry vacuum is very impressive. It’s sturdy and it has a powerful suction and it’s not too heavy.

It’s a great gadget to have especially if you have children who’re prone to causing spills. Or just for general home maintenance.

I like the fact that it has a shoulder strap so you don’t have to constantly carry it, and the inclusion of additional attachments is handy.

It is quite expensive but so far I can’t fault its performance. I just hope that it performs just as well several months down the line.

But I would definitely recommend this wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

Suction power is not the best as it is battery powered, I presume, but it does work well all around specially the blower function on a workshop.

When I first saw this I couldn’t think why I might need it as I have a carpet shampooer and a stick vacuum that can be used in the car but then my memory took me back to last winter when a very nice and very expensive car vacuum that I had blew up when cleaning the carpets and mats in my car after snow and ice had melted into them.
On opening, this wet and dry cleaner reminds me a little of the old VAX when they first came out which were basically a bin with a motor on top, lol. This model though looks far better built and has the benefit of being fully portable using a high power rechargeable battery.
When first inspecting this unit, it comes with three basic tools which is all thats required for my car, a flexible hose, an 18v battery and charger. The battery once charged fits into place under a cover at the top of the main unit, next to this is a small storage slot for the crevice tool as this would not be used as often as the wide suction tool it keeps it out of the way and tidy. When not in use the hose wraps around the top along with the other two tools keeping everything together and ready to be stored in a fairly compact space.
After charging the battery, I fitted it and tested the vacuum indoors first, the power was really quite amazing and I found that it picked up just about everything that I put in its path. Next I used it in my car, which is to be this cleaners main purpose for me, again it vacuumed the mats and carpets pulling every bit of dirt, hair and debris out leaving them spotless. I finally tested this for wet vacuuming by spilling a glass of water on one of my car mats, this unit had no problem at all in sucking all of the water away from the mat and depositing it in the tank. I did notice when finished that the built in filter was a little damp inside the vacuum so I left that to air dry before storing the cleaner just incase of mould setting in. This cleaner also has a blower outlet which works well although I can’t think of a reason for using that as yet but I’m sure that in time that a use will reveal itself.
Overall, this wet and dry vacuum is a terrific asset for cleaning the car, especially in the winter when the carpets and mats tend to become wet from melting ice and snow from peoples shoes and after my last car vacuum blowing up because of that, this one is a great bonus being that it’s able to handle water and liquids as well as dirt.
One downside for me is that this device doesn’t come with a brush tool which would have been very handy for doing the hard plastics in the car such as the air vents and seat runners so I am trying to find a suitable brush tool that will fit this hose which does look to be a standard diameter.
Terrific vacuum with a long lasting battery, Ideal for a car.

It’s good, but considering the Karcher Wet and Dry is 119 and this is 179, and the Karcher has readily available spare parts and filters to buy, its a bit pricey considering.

It works well and with good suction, though this is a fresh out of the box impression, and hard to say how it will perform in 6 months. I find my W&D vacuums the most useful as they’re built to handle sawdust and damp scenarios, which is perfect for my ever filthy garage full of screw shrapnel and wood scraps. The blower function is very useful for cleaning wet sand and grit from things, and I do like its compact size.

I really liked this vacuum, nicely made and very handy. I can see how it perfectly suits a workshop sawdust, metal filings, maybe liquids, from mostly hard surfaces. Ideal!

I tried it in the car and found it lacked a little power getting grit etc. out of carpet. The short hose wasn’t ideal but it worked.

Tried it on a small area of my deck and felt it didn’t filter the fine dust and felt it in the air but i don’t think it claims to do that anyway.

Doesn’t use an internal bag. Has a few attachments and a shoulder strap.

Battery and charger are as you might find supplied with a battery drill, 18V and with nice weight to the battery.

If you need a ‘workshop vacuum’ this is pretty nice. Recommended.

Wow this vacuum is brilliant. The suction power is great and it also allows you to have it on eco mode to preserve battery life. Its simple to use and can be used not only as a vacuum but also to suck up liquid spills. You can also use it as a blower by changing the hose to a different inlet. It seems really sturdy and well made and I love that I can hoover my car now without the need for an extension lead. Wod definitely recommend

WESCO Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner, Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner, 3.6 kg Compact Wet-Dry Vacuums, 10Kpa Shop Vac, Small Workshop Vacuum, Vacuum Cleaner Wet and Dry with Blower Function

This is a perfect little portable handheld vacuum cleaner. Especially perfect for cleaning out the car! The suction is decent enough for little jobs around the house as well but not very practical as it doesn’t come with a long hose or upright long attachment.

This is currently on sale for 179.99 so on this basis I cannot say it’s good value for money because I have a small portable branded hoover that was under 100 and it seems to perform the same.

Battery life is excellent and suction power is great. Haven’t tried the blower function yet but will be very handy for the winter for leaves etc around the garden.

Would recommend but again it is very pricey.

I ordered this for my partner to try at work. He’s an electrician and his trusted Henry is quite heavy when he’s got a car full of tools etc.
This is a very compact sized cleaner. Everything stores inside neatly . You need to charge the battery pack on the charger station included. The battery then slots onto the connecter on the vacuum.
I’ve only actually used the dry option so far. We needed to clean the car before going away for the weekend, the boot was full of brick dust and bits of trunking . It was a good opportunity to test out it’s ability. It has really good suction, the boot looked really clean afterwards and the compact size and no power leads was a real bonus. I’ll be using this everytime I vacuum the car from now on . Recommended

The battery has a really handy power test button, that shows the charge that’s left in the battery at three power levels and only took 2 hours to charge on first use.

The eco setting isn’t saved when powered off, the vacuum just reverts back to full power when switched back on again, and the multiple filters collect a lot of fluff.

The flexible tube stretches to just over 70 inches or just under 6 foot. When you start to reach the limits of its extension, the vacuum begins to be dragged with it as there’s no non slip pads. In tight spaces, like when cleaning the car, I find myself placing the vacuum in the boot or on a seat and moving it over when needed, rather than in my other hand. It is light to carry at 3.45kg when empty, so when in a more open space, using the handle or strap, the vacuum is easy to transport whilst cleaning.

Lightweight with long flexible tube, power test button on battery, eco setting isn’t saved

Cool little toolbox looking vacuum, that does dry and wet. And it also blows.
    Different.
Quite powerful, about double of a normal handheld car vacuum, but still only half of those handheld stick one.
Making vacuuming a much easy job, or blowing those shaving of the worktops.
Also safe to use on wet surfaces, sucking up those liquids, with a capacity of 3l.
It has a handle and strap for working away from the ground.
    Economical bagless and washable filter.
Comes with a pretty powerful 20V battery which is compatible with other Wesco products.
Would be nice if there is a strength control and perhaps a brush head, or may be also optional wheels for portability- although just over 3.5kg is not too heavy, but it would be nice to work like a house vacuum.
The description on the page still in German which should be rectified.
Price is good at 126 with voucher, for a portable wet and dry vacuum.

I have to admit that I am so pleasantly surprised by this wet and dry vacuum cleaner. It’s quite compact and smaller than expected. Suction is great and it is able to suck up the tiniest bits of dirt and dust.
It’s easy to carry around as it’s not too heavy, it’s got a great capacity without the need for any vacuum bags.
Comes with great accessories and also a shoulder strap for easy carrying.
I’m impressed by the quality of this, the versatility so that you can use this both as wet and dry hoover but also can be used as a leaf blower. It’s much more powerful than I thought which is great.

At around 180 for this you might be sucking your teeth a little given that the name isn’t well known in the UK. And, you would be wrong to think so.

This is the best battery vacuum for the price you can get. I say price because of course you can go higher up market to Makita but then you are going to be paying a lot more for the pro-end stuff. The equivalent Makita setup is going to cost you more than 250 if you buy a battery and charger.

The obvious comparison product would be Ryobi which really is pretty much in the same segment. That’s the mid range stuff. Actually mid range isn’t entirely correct now as we have low end – which is basically junk – then the mid range is actually upper mid range with the price to go with it and then the pro level tools which you need to sell a kidney for. The gap between pro and mid is very close now and unless you are a tradesman who needs the high end tools it’s hard to knock the likes of Ryobi and Worx.

Anyway, I have loads of Ryobi 18+V tools including their 18V battery vacuum and thus I can give a bit of a comparison here.

First off is that the Ryobi setup will cost you more. All in with battery, vac and charger you are looking at a minimum of 220. And that’s a lot.

Comparing the Wesco to the Ryobi overall there’s is little in it for quality. Both use high end plastics and materials. Both have the same hose tools and both use an 18V battery. Both feel generally robust enough to last a good long while.

The big difference is the shape with the Wesco being more compact, whilst the Ryobi is flatter and more case like. If I’m honest the Wesco one has Ryobi beat on this because it’s just a better shape to cart around, store and use.

In use, both work surprisingly well. Really. With a full battery and clean filter these vacuums are extremely good at dealing with building dust such as created when drilling bricks. Both are good at this and pretty much neck in neck and without doing lab tests I couldn’t say one was better than the other.

However, I did a test using 4Ah batteries to see which lasted the longest. And I was genuinely amazed at how well the Wesco did. It doubled the run time of the Ryobi on full power. With Eco mode used it would last for well over an hour.

I set both machines up with fully charged batteries and set them going and the Wesco was hands down the winner.

I will admit that the Ryobi battery wasn’t in it’s first flush of youth but I tried this again with a new 5 Ahr Ryobi battery and the Wesco still won.

The only thing that came across as low rent was the strap which broke immediately. As I don’t use it I wasn’t bothered but that was irritating nevertheless. Wesco, if you read this, it’s the small things that matter.

I will say that I’ve also got a couple of other Wesco tools and the one thing that irritated me was lack of proper charging station and spare batteries. This vacuum comes with both so if you were starting out collecting cordless tools then this is pretty good value in that respect because you get a decent battery and charger useable by the entire range. I can see, having looked at the Wesco online site that they have expanded their range to cover pretty much everything the serious DIYer or cost conscious pro would need.

If you had asked me a year ago which system I would have picked based upon me buying it then I would have said Ryobi. Great range, decent quality and tolerable (although getting less so) price. Now? I’d honestly buy the Wesco stuff. Similar quality which, is pretty good and more competitively priced.

Wesco has made a real winner here.

This is a really powerful wet/dry vacuum that i had had to just test out on my messy car lol , It comes with plenty of your everyday tools, I was surprised how light it was as i thought it would be a lot heavier than it is, stuck the battery charge which took about 4 hours to full but i left it alot longer with it been its first full charge, as you can see from the pictures it did a pretty good job and helps so much it is portable, Emptying it was easy as its just 2 clips on the side , It also has the filter you can shake out or wash ,The battery only lasted just short of half hour on full power which was a little disappointing, only other gripe is i would say the hose is a little short , i know it has the carry strap but that’s not ideal if trying to hoover the footwells etc.The instruction book is in english but for some reason advert is not.

This wet/dry portable vacuum cleaner is well made to a good standard.
Before I start, the battery is not Makita which I said it was in the video. The vacuum cleaner can also blow via a separate outlet as per photo.
The unit comes with a heavy duty 18v battery which came with 1 fast charger. The battery came with 1 led battery level of remaining power and it took what seemed to be 1 hour to fully charge it up. I found this very impressive! The charger was good quality and not lightweight plasticky cheap type.
The vacuum unit feels very rugged and durable all over. The two side lift up to hook, followed by snapping it down clip mechanism although sufficient, but all plastic and may potentially break if hard handled and or dropped hard. I test opened and closing it 10 times and all felt fine, but was just an observation. The vacuum flexible tube is very durable and the best quality material I’ve seen in a while. The adapter heads supplied are all very well made and fit precisely.
The top portion of the vacuum cleaner unit lifts up to show a long life hard wearing easy to shake debris free filter folds.
The top has a lid that unclipped amd lifts up to reveal a slot to fit the power tool type battery. To the left is a short beveled tube vacuum head adapter. The unit when assembled, powers on and gives a surprisingly strong vacuum suction that can vacuum the carpet, car, and anywhere as the unit is portable and has a handy shoulder strap. The battery is still working after I’ve vacuumed 2 large cars, thanks to the big capacity 18v power tool battery. The other good feature is that I can pull off the flexi hose vacuum end and slot it into the output blower hole. The blowing power isn’t as impressive but I can use it to blow dry leaves on my driveway and also to blow away water residue from my freshly washed car.
Also handy for cleaning up after doing some drilling and DIY jobs.
This portable vacuum cleaner is handy for cleaning caravans and small office units etc..
So handy to use and most importantly, it has a decent suction power. It can help to suck out water from a small garden pond and make sure no debris get inside the unit. It can help suck away water from the washing machines drainage hole, to save it going all over the kitchen floor.
Price wise is a tad expensive than I would pay (I’m a Vine Reviewer) but apart from that, it’s a good machine.

This Wesco wet and dry vacuum is a compact unit that comes with a shoulder strap, a 18v , 4.0 Ah rechargeable battery and a 55w , 20volt output charger plus an assortment of different short nozzles and a flexible hose.
The battery took about 4 hours to charge on its initial charge but after half an hour of use was still performing well .
I didn’t use the shoulder strap as the unit is light enough to carry around with one hand and hold the nozzle end with the other.

With the attachments provided I found this vacuum best for interior car cleaning , either dry or after shampooing/rinsing upholstery.

It was also handy for stair cleaning being unencumbered by trailing wires.
It could also be used in counter top , workshop/factory situations .
Because of the compact size of the attachments , not really suited to vacuuming large carpeted areas , though good for going around skirting and tight corners.

Emptying the container is easy as you just unclip 2 catches . After each use , I brushed the fluff and dust from the filter but you can detach it and run it under the tap to remove finer particles .

The unit comes with the flexy hose attached to the suction outlet but there is a blower function available obtained by unplugging the hose and easily inserting it in the “exhaust” outlet .

The cordless vacuum comes already assembled as you can see on video.
It is battery operated, and comes with a charger. The battery took 2 hours to fully charge (the light turns green when ready)
The vacuum itself is light and handy, you can attach the strap to hang it over your shoulder. It came with softener attachments. You can use it as a dry or wet vacuum as well as a blower. The power of the vacuum is enough to pick up dirt from around home and outdoors it is also handy for building work such as collecting drill dust or just simply around home dusting or vacuuming the stairs without having to use a big heavy vacuum. I love the wet vacuum option especially when I need to vacuum my hot tub or unclog the dish washer and get rid of the standing water, it’s just amazing. You can take this vacuum literally anywhere it’s good to vacuum up your car as well. Very handy and it’s getting used in my house on daily basis now. Don’t know how I managed without one before.

I ordered this to use around the house for small DIY bits as our upright vac is always getting clogged with dust. This has been way more useful than I ever thought due to it’s compact and lightweight design along with it being cordless. It came with a battery, charger, 2 nozels, 2 year warranty booklet, and carry strap. The carry strap is great as you can have it over your shoulder when up a ladder meaning you don’t need to worry about holding the hoover. I recently used this for hoovering out moss from our gutters and it worked a treat getting into the small spaces. There is an eco setting which will use less power and make the runtime longer with very little difference in suction power. You can also very quickly move the hose into a seperate hole which turns the vacuum into a blower allowing you to blow any dust or debris away.
I’m genuinely really impressed with this vacuum and can see it getting so much use, and I haven’t even tried wet vaccing yet!

You receive a small handheld cordless vacuum cleaner.

First impressions are a neat cleaner, which has a detachable battery, which fits other WESCO items, comes with the charger, has a little bit of charge in it when received, but will need a proper charge which takes a couple of hours to fully charge.

You have three attachments, one is under the lid where the battery goes, that’s the edge attachment, you have a bigger nozzles and a tube type nozzles, these don’t attach for storage.

The main body is in two parts, clips hold them together, the bottom half is where the muck etc goes, the top half is the main cleaner.

You have a normal suction cleaner, but you have another outlet the hose fits in too which is a blower.

Using it is good, works very well, and will suck up wet as well as dry, I’ve used it on my carpet, I have a very old dog who seems to have forgotten to do his big jobs outside, I scrub the carpet with a rubber, and used this to suck the excess liquid and it worked treat.

My only negatives are, this is a cleaner you’ll be on your hands and knees using, no long nozzle, the pipe could be longer, its not overly long from the main body.

A very useful cleaner, will be great in the car and van, prefect for that, great for using round the home or commercial unit.

What would make this even better, a long tool so you could use upright, and maybe a a spare battery, but all in all its a great cleaner.

The listing itself is all in German to begin with, and the Wesco Site seems to be down which makes me worry about aftercare and maintenance, though the site does say it’s being fixed and will be back up soon.

I’ve never used a WESCO branded product before but I was impressed by this vac. It’s a fairly weighty little thing but a lot less than your regular full sized vac. It’s compact in size and comes with some straps, a battery with charger and 3 different heads. This feels like more of a heavy duty/workshop vacuum and great for cleaning up after building work as we’ve just had an extension done and left the house a bit of a mess.

The shoulder straps make it easier to carry and can also be used in the car which, because it’s wireless makes cleaning the car an absolute breeze. I haven’t cleaned my car in a long long time but I was VERY impressed with how easy this made the task and that I could also wash my seats and then suck the water out of it after. Due to it’s size it’s very easy to transport also. Cleaning and emptying is also fairly easy and there’s a filter you can wash and dry that isolates the dust.

Overall this is an impressive vacuum and whilst I wouldn’t use this for day to day cleaning of my house, I will definitely be using this during any messy house work, workshop work or cleaning of my car.

Update, I finally got a chance to properly test the water vac side of it at home and not just the car. Dropped a 2L bottle of water down the stairs which cracked open and flooded my carpet at the bottom instantly. Started using tissues to take out the water till I realised to simply use this. I’ve used it on my car seats before but wasn’t sure how it would handle thick pile carpets. I have to say it literally sucked out all the water leaving the carpet touch dry! LIFE SAVER. Also, It looks like the listing has now been updated since to English.

    splendid job at car cleaning
