This is a very good beginner badminton set.

They come with 2 sets of rackets ,sweat bands, shuttles and grips for the racket.

The rackets are definitely light weight and comparable in weight for any other big brands in the market.

For a brand that isn’t very heard the strings are really well strung and should last at least a year or two so for casual play.

The set comes with shuttles which are plastic and arent great but will do the job if you are just starting with badminton.

Over all these are very decent beginner badminton sets for casual players and can be used as a secondary set for intermediate players as well.

Very decent badminton set for Beginners

Nice badminton racket set that is ideal for beginners and those who simply want to have a bat around. You have two lightweight and decent quality rackets that have good shock absorbing handles making them comfortable to use. Also comes with two shuttle cocks, 2 grip tapes and a good size badminton racket. Overall good value for money and great for badminton fun in the summer.

These are a nice pair of rackets and, although they are something above basic budget ones, they certainly don’t feel premium. They are lightweight though and it’s nice that they come in two different colour combinations. There are shuttlecocks provided as well so it makes for a nice set. I think for the casual player this is a good set; those that want a premium racket will look elsewhere. For the money they are reasonable.

There’s everything you need here to play the game – it really is a one-stop shop to get set up playing badminton from scratch. As well as two rackets and shuttlecocks, you have a couple of extras you might not necessarily get when buying other starter kits, namely sweat grips to wind around the handles, and wrist sweatbands. The addition of these items makes it a much more well-rounded kit, and suitable not only as a casual leisure set, but also for newcomers wanting to give the sport a serious go.

The rackets themselves are well-made, benefitting from a very lightweight aluminium frame and a professional-quality graphite t-joint, that gives a tough flexibility and great rebound in use. It’s the quality of the rackets – definitely the stars of the set, and worth the price alone – that give the impression that these aren’t just for casual gaming, but for serious badminton starters-out too. The shuttlecocks too are soundly constructed and seem match-quality.

It’s all really well presented in the compact carry case, complete with shoulder sling strap. As such it would make a brilliant gift for any badminton hopeful, as well as an excellent, very affordable starter kit if you’re planning to give the game a go yourself.

Excellent, affordable starter kit boasting great quality rackets

The rackets are really lightweight but still sturdy thanks to the ‘one-piece’ aluminium/carbon graphite and wood construction.

The grommet strip at the end of the racket protects the strings from damage which should make this more durable than cheaper sets available.

With a carry case, 2x rackets, 2x shuttlecocks, a pair of sweatbands and spare grips this set is pretty good value. I’m sure it doesn’t match branded products in quality but overall it’s a good standard.

Great set! Impressed with the quality!

A budgetstarter set of two badminton raquets and all the accessories: Included are:
    2 badminton rackets
    2 shuttlecocks
    2 rolls of grip tape
    2 wristbands
    1 racket bag

Some of that’s a bit questionably necessary,of course, and as you would expect at this price the accessories aren’t of the very highest quality, but the racquets themselves are actually pretty decent, well designed with a good balance and feel. A good budget buy if you are dipping a toe into the sport.

Last time I played badminton was at school – but I always did enjoy the game.
I got these on a whim as they were reasonably priced.
    I’m impressed!

    The set contains:
    2 x badminton rackets
    2 x Shuttlecocks
    2 x Wrist sweatbands
    2 x handle grip tape

The rackets themselves are well made, lightweight yet strong. They weigh in at 95g each.
The handles feel good in the hand but do come with a roll of grip tape to make the grip better and it also absorbs sweat.

Shuttlecocks are bit basic, but pretty much as I remember them, and they fly well enough for us.

I like the bag, which is padded with a carrying strap and at the very least it keeps your set in one place and clean and protected.

We’ve had a few games in the garden (over the washing line) great exercise and a lot of fun.
I’m considering getting a proper net.
No aspirations to be the next Marcus Ellis, but as a fun exercise these are perfect and to be fair still a good beginners set for anyone starting out.

    I cannot fault them.

Cheap but well made beginners se

This is a good little set for beginners or for taking out for a casual game during a picnic etc.

The racquets are lightweight and good for the price. The shuttles are budget and a slower variety.

The few extras are generally a nice touch, but I’m not really bothered about the wristbands.

Generally good value for the price.

Great little set for travelling or just messing around in the garden.
Very slim and lightweight, the case contains everything you need to play and is very easy just to keep in the boot of your car.
Great value for money and great to have on short breaks away.

I haven’t played badminton for quite a few years, but thought that it would be fun to have a set to take on holiday.

This set consists of two racquets, two shuttlecocks, two wrist sweat bands, two extra grips and a case for the racquets.

The racquets are very good, obviously not up to a quality brand such as Yonex but far better than I was expecting for the price of this kit, 29.99 at the time of writing. The only slight negative is that the grip supplied isn’t great, but they do include a pair of extra grips which ca be wrapped over the existing one, I presume that this isn’t pre-installed because the included grip is more suitable for a child’s hand to grip.

The sweat bands are adequate if you play a strenuous game, however the included shuttlecocks are not very good, they are made from nylon and mine were squashed flat when they arrived and despite my best efforts I haven’t managed to re-shape them to the necessary round shape. The case looks good and holds the two racquets neatly, it looks quite professional.

I got this set primarily for holidays as I said, but the quality of the racquets is making me consider joining a club and playing more regularly, but I do need to buy some more shuttlecocks.

I got this badminton set for my sister who loves playing badminton. This is a really cool badminton set, you get two shuttlecocks, two grips, two sweatbands, two rackets and a bag for everything to go in.

It comes in a number of different colours. It is priced around at 29.99 however, there is a small discount on it currently about 8% Voucher so will take a couple of pounds off the overall price.

The quality of the racket is really good. It’s really lightweight which allows to have better movement when playing.
I think it’s quite a reasonable price considering the quality and it can be used to play professionally so I would definitely recommend these if you’re after a nice decent badminton racquet set.

    Good quality badminton se

I like these badminton racket set . These rackets are of good quality . Its net is sturdy . It weaved well . It’s handle is made out of good quality wood . But the shuttle does not meet my expectations. These are made out of plastic and these are bendy . It has some extra foamic strips for resting more grip on handle. These rackets and kit is in special bag . I like that it is easy to carry around with me . In my opinion, it is expensive . I like it.

    Good quality

I got this twin racquet set for my children to use in the garden, as the racquets that came with a net we have did not last. These racquets are reasonable enough for the price, and can be used quite happily for basic play. Unsurprisingly, they don’t compare favourably to a decent club racquet, but even a basic Yonex racquet is twice the cost. It comes with two plastic shuttlecocks, which are fine, as well as two spare grips. Note that you only get one cover for the pair of racquets, which is less useful if you ever wanted to take them to different venues.

WHiZZ Sports Badminton Racket set: So probably not for you if you’re a big time badminton player, this set of 2 rackets, 2 shuttlecocks and wrist &head sweat bands are a reasonable quality and price for anyone who likes a quick Knock about in the garden, is an occasional player or just starting out.

The set comes in a reasonable quality zipped bag with adjustable shoulder strap – gives a professional look The carbon fibre shafts of the rackets are pretty strong but with a good level of flexibility and the handles provide a comfortable grip. They balance more towards the head, lighter head/faster response, and these do have a very fast action, with a weight grade of 4u – a little lighter than the average of 3u but of course dependant on preference.

The shuttlecocks provided are nylon and at the cheaper end of the market, but they are resilient and will take quite a whack, also their descent is slower than the feather or hybrid type, so great for kids and beginners. The sweat bands are fine if you’re really working up a steam.

We had a quick play in the garden to give them a test and they make for a speedy game which is tempered by the slower shuttlecock, it’s a bit cold for this at the moment but will be great for the summer. For less than 30 I’d say they make a good investment for some holiday fun or to give a start in the game and they’ll take a bit of wear and tear too. Pretty good on the whole.

This is an excellent Badminton set, included are two lightweight, well balanced rackets, which include features of higher end sets, such as thread protection. You also get a good quality carry bag, two sweat bands, two shuttlecocks and extra thread for a more comfortable grip. I brought a racket in the supermarket variety aisle a few months back for 15, this is far superior. Definitely worth the purchase for anyone wanting to give Badminton a try or avoid the beat up leisure centre loaners.

    Excellent value and quality

This is a two player badminton set, the racquets are pretty decent quality with carbon aluminium frames and carbon graphite shafts, making them both strong and lightweight. Another major selling point of this set is the inclusion of various extras contained within the bag, which most competing products simply do not provide, see list below.

    Set contents

    2x badminton rackets
    2x nylon shuttlecocks
    2x breathable soft grip tapes
    2x sweatbands on the wrist
    1x racket bag

In use these are very lightweight, they FEEL decent when hitting the shuttlecock but unless you actually play the game it’s difficult to explain but i’ll try in one line, the vibration through the racquet strings and subsequent travel vs power of shot FEELS quite good.

It’s difficult to fault this set, it’s great for the back garden for adult players who don’t wish to ruin more expensive racquets, along with anyone who plays occasionally, but don’t expect it to compete with high end Yonex products if you’ve been using those already.

This is a comprehensive entry level badminton kit. The rackets are lightweight and well balanced. They share features of higher end rackets for example graphite carbon shaft and T join and isometric design. It has a scratch proof design, ideal for drop shot retrievals that go wrong. The hand grip isn’t the most comfortable, however they come with additional wrap around grips you can add. The kit is completed with 2 shuttlecocks, 2 sweat bands and a racket bag. This is a great kit for the price and perfect for beginner- intermediate players.

    Comprehensive kit and good quality
