These grips are as good as or better than the original golf pride! Nice non-slip feel.

I purchased new tape and lube to install these. They go on so nicely and feel so grippy and comfortable!
    Great grips!

First off, I’ve read reviews about these grips not fitting correctly. I’ve been gripping clubs for 20 years and can tell you right off, these are perfect size and there are no issues with the size. The slip on just the same as any GolfPride, Winn or other name brand grip.

These grips are very tacky and will not allow the club to slip in your hands. However, they do have a kind of rough feeling, like they might tear up your glove, but that has not been the case. But the feeling is definitely there. I don’t think I’ll buy these again due to this feeling. I like to have a smooth grip that is tacky, but these seem to feel ‘off’. I think it may be the texture that is due to the difference between the inset portions of the rubber in relation to the raised portions. I think there is just too much contrast between the two.

I only paid $26 for 13 grips. Normal name brand grips are what $8-$12 a piece? You can’t beat the price for what you get. I really enjoy the deeper groove pattern towards the back of the grip. My cousin purchased the Yamato wedge set and I was so impressed by the quality I had to go with the grip set. Take a chance and save yourself some money. You won’t regret it.

I had an older set of clubs that were still in good shape but needed new grips. I tried these, combined with a re-gripping kit with solvent and tape, and am very satisfied. The clubs look great now, and the grips are comfortable. My game still needs work, so I’m a little disappointed the grips didn’t solve that for me, but I guess they didn’t promise to do that!

I would recommend for anyone wanting to re-grip their clubs themselves.

Just one small thing, the white dot marking was missing on a few of the grips.

These are great feeling grips at an incredible price point, I think I got a coupon so the whole set was $25. I’ve played several rounds with them and they’re doing great. I plan to replace them next year anyway so I’m not worried about longevity, though I think they’d be playable for more than a year.

I love the feel of these grips. I didn’t realize how skinny my original grips were until I put these on. I feel like I have much more control of the club than before. This was my first time regripping clubs and it went fairly smooth. I got 13 grips for twenty bucks on sale and would have been happy with them even if I had paid twice as much. The only thing I didn’t like much was the big logo up front but that’s no big deal

This is a nice upgrade for my old clubs. Comfortable grip and very easy to change out and seem to be staying in place well.

Was paying 3 times as much for name brands. Read some reviews and took a chance. Glad I did. I have been installing grips for over 25 years and these went on no problem. Feel as good as more expensive grips. Very happy

The grips arrived early. Had friend I play golf with daily, who used to build and grip clubs said he never thought a grip this inexpensive could be so good. I put them on yesterday afternoon and played round today. Shot my second lowest round of season. I put grips on Callaway Rogue irons that were with original grips. My new midsize Yamato grips are FANTASTIC. FOR 19.95 I regriped my entire bag of clubs with grips that look, feel and preform SUPER. I will definitely buy and use again.

I wish I found these about a week sooner. I recently put winn lite grips on all my clubs and I like these way more.
These are very firm yet super grippy. Much better than the soft ones that I just bought.
The design is nice and the blue will match my xl launchers perfectly.
I got the midsized and they aren’t much different from my oversize.
I highly recommend these for a firm and grippy golf grip.

    Super grippy

If you like soft grips these are not the grips for you. The grips are like a midsize plus , I have big hand so they feel good. They are a little rough but if you use a glove on one hand it doesn’t seem to be so bad.
For $35 for 13 grips they are well worth it. I will buy again.

My midsized grips came super fast , looks and fits great on the clubs , compared to top name brands these grips are as of same quality for half the price . I’ve worked with a lot of different type of grips and I would recommend this grip to anyone , the material is ideal if you want grip and less slippage on those hot summer round days . Very good against the rain as well , as most grips will loose a little grip , these feel to stay the same . It’s a matter of how wet your glove is . 100% satisfied!

These affordable grips are easy and fast to install and feel pretty good overall.
In the past, when taken to a shop for re-gripping, it would average about $20/grip or about $250 per complete set in my area. Other solid brands online cost about $13/grip because of their hybrid genesis compound.
With these Yamato grips, it costs the price of their grips PLUS the cost of the grip tape and solvent (sold separately, which averages about $1 per grip) so is more economical for sure.
These grips have felt pretty comfortable both out on the range and on the course so fa

Comfortable grips that were easy to install in with self installation saved some moolah!

Can’t beat the price. They have a heavier texture than their competitor but I’m okay with that.

I regripped my son’s very used and very not expensive Acuity brand club set. This was my first time doing a regrip of any club and it was easier than I thought. Get one of the kits with the tape and solvent, and it’s easiest if you have a bench vise.

These grips feel nice and tacky but not overly rough either. That’s a solid improvement over the standard ones on the set, which had worn a bit and felt almost slick to the touch. Immediate improvement in feel and confidence. The fit was perfect, just tight enough to slide on. Recommend!

I spent a few hours on the driving range with them after re-gripping to try them out. I’ll update after they wear in a little bit with more informatio

Very surprised. The best bang for the buck golf grips out there. seem well made. Just installed so don’t know durability. Mid-size seem like a midsize-plus, slightly thicker which is ok with me having used jumbos. The feel is cord-like so if your palms are baby soft they may feel coarse.

Weight is 6-7gm heavier than the usual of 50-51gm. Should adjust swing weight of new build clubs as desired. As a replacement grip, it will probably lighten swing weight of club.

While not an advertised ‘top brand’ name, these grips have a good reputation. I play 4-5 times weekly; and, even with frequent cleaning of my grips, I change them more often than most. I’ll have to evaluate durability at a later date. Regardless, at these prices I encourage golfers to give them a try. I find, as a senior golfer, the mid size gives the hands more support and control.
    Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am a single digit HDCP player. I have been wanting to try some Midsize grips so I ordered these. I put them on my wedges to test them out and I can honestly say that I am very impressed. Had a great round today and my wedges were the best part of my game today. They have great traction and are soft but yet firm. It was hot and humid today and these grips performed very well. Not sure how they will wear but at the price you can’t go wrong. I will update after a few rounds to report how they are holding up.

My husband loves these superb golf grips that he has on all his clubs now. He says that they make holding and swinging the clubs more comfortable especially for long games and practices. Each one is professionally made of a nice rubber material with a terrific design in green. Really makes the clubs look excellent, even if you are not very good at the sport. They are lightweight and simple to put on the club handles.

I like these more than the older Golf Pride grips I replaced these with, and those were close to $9 per grip at the time. These are 3x+ cheaper, and I like them better. Very soft and very “grippy”. I might have to get another set and save them for a year or two until it comes time to regrip.

One note however. I got the Red. The red color is a lot darker than the pictures. I wanted bright red, but the grips are more dark red. No Biggie, just thought I would let you know.

Since I just got them, I cannot tell how durable they are. If they don’t last a couple seasons at least, for as much as I play golf, I’ll update my review.

Awesome quality grips. Very good price poi

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese are golf grips that offer enhanced traction due to raised and indented surface. For a grip, it can almost seem rough. They are grips that might be especially helpful during sweaty rounds because of the uneven surface. The standard grip is what normally comes with clubs. I tried the midsize grips to see if they helped with sweaty hands. While I think they fit, I am going back to standard size. For the price of these grips, they are a very good option. They are half the price of some of the more popular brands. They are worth a try.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThese are hard grips so if you are not a fan of these types, they are not for you. I prefer them and have good control with these grips. Will follow-up about longevity of these grips as I golf 3-4 times a week. One of the main reasons I switch from Dri-tac (expensive to get 4-5 months out of them).

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA great alternative to the very expensive grips in the market. Received these overnight. I had ordered the mid-size ones. My irons have a 1″ extender and still I was able to install these grips easily. Tried them at the driving range. They feel nice and comfortable. The texture and pattern of the rubber provides a nice non-slip grip.
