I wish I knew about these sooner. I normally game at night and the clanking noise can be heard in another room. These make the sticks hitting the plastic silent.

I put one around the left stick only, just to compare the sound. It makes a huge difference. They advertise them as stick protectors, but they really should be advertised as silencers.

I put them on my Xbox controllers. The controller in my video is the new Xbox Starfield controller.

I like that this set has several color choices.

    I love these

The RBG rings around the thumbsticks of my ROG ally were getting black residue from the sticks grinding against them. Popped these bad boys on and problem solved – bonus is that the sticks feel smoother and are quieter now!

Fits perfect as the ROG ally has taller thumbsticks.

I also have a steam deck, and these are much too tall however you could probably just trim them to size using a pair of scissors.

    Fits ROG ally perfectly

Not too much I can say about these, other than they come in in a decent price and they’re easily applicable. they easily slide over the top of the joystick and rest on the stem reducing friction between the joystick and the outer rim on the shell of the controller. They’re not some kind of miracle that are going to have you aiming trick shots in 30 seconds, but they will give you a little bit less initial drag when you go to aim. Little that can go wrong at this price they do what they say they will, I recommend them 100% you can’t go wrong.

My home office is in the living room of our house. Every day, our two home schooled children have a class the last hour of the day in which they are required to play the X Box for an hour with a cooperative game. This helps build teamwork, but also had created a ton of noise when the joysticks would hit the plastic shell of the controller. This item negates that sound, which in turn not only protects the device, but also my sanity! Super easy to install (takes literally seconds), and have so far lasted for over a month without any sign of deterioration. Not only that, but there are 20 in this pack, so I still have four more sets to go if the first ones finally give up!

These were easy to install, and look great on both controllers I put them on (Switch Pro controller and PS5 Dual-Sense. Also, they REALLY quiet things down – these controllers are now basically silent. Honestly, I’m not sure how much true protection they provide, but they quiet things down and they look cool, and I figure that’s good enough.

There isn’t a lot I can say about these. They work exactly as expected and are very easy to slip onto thumb sticks. Not too loose or too tight. So far I’ve used them on one XBox One controller, two for XBox Series X, and on my Switch, and they work well on all of them. Game play isn’t negatively impacted at all. I recommend these for all your controllers.

I honestly can’t believe it’s taken this long to come out with this idea. These will change the way you play games. I have these on every controller I have now. It just makes everything feel so much better and smooth. Recommended highly!

    Summary
    ————
Pretty simple product, you are buying what you see. You get a decent amount for the price and it feels pretty nice. It is durable as I was able to stretch it pretty far and didn’t rip. One downside I would say is that the joysticks do lose a bit of motion and maximum range as it is rubber and not as thin as you would think. Overall it does the job, which is to protect the middle part of the joystick from wear and tear.

    Pros
    ——-
    – Durable
    – Easy to put on
    – Compatible with a lot of devices

    Cons
    ——-
    – Lose maximum range and some motion due to rubber
    – Not 100% compatible with steam deck, but useable if you modify how it is put on
    – (Personal opinion) Feedback is reduced, doesn’t feel as satisfying when playing games

The constant click-clack sound of the thumbstick was driving me insane. These quieted the noise and also feels smooth rotating.

These are pretty nice. I got them for my Steam Deck primarily, however it comes with plenty of them and was able to protect all of my controllers. They are reasonably easy to put on, although I could totally understand someone having a little trouble. They are quite small and a little tricky until you find a technique that works for you. I will say, I am not a massive fan of the white. I would prefer a nice black to blend in with the sticks themselves, but its far from a deal breaker.
As far as the actual protection aspect goes, it does its job well. It removes that scraping, grinding feeling from the sticks, and haven’t noticed any tearing/stretching of the bands. Very nice for keeping the chassis of the Deck and controllers free from scratches and paint damage.
One small nitpick I have though. They do have a very minor restriction on stick movement in certain scenarios. Specifically in Elden Ring I noticed that switching lock-on targets is a tiny bit inconsistent with these on if I’m lightly moving the stick (only noticed on PS5 controller). This is really the only game I’ve noticed any problem on, and after a little while I got used to having to hit the stick a little more than normal.

Loved these things, I bought more for all my controllers! You don’t realize how loud the joysticks hitting the case really is until you try these.

I initially got these so I can protect my God of War PS5 controller when it comes in. But, I decided to test it out on my other controller, which is primarily used for FPS. I was concerned about them feeling sticky when rotating the joystick, but it does the opposite, they actually feel smoother. Will be posting an update in the future about the actual wear on them in the future. But for now they’re pretty solid.
