These socks were a gamble purchase and really paid off. I wore them pretty much constantly alternating them and washing them and they kept my feet completely warm and dry on the slushy slopes. They also didn’t alter the fit of the ski boots by making them too tight but made them snug enough which is so important for safety. I personally liked the colour as they match all ski outfits and don’t get dirty looking or worn.

I took these socks with me on a trip to Scotland, and they kept my feet and even my legs warm throughout the trip. The socks feel super warm, they fit perfectly, and they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The price of 24.99 is probably too expensive for these socks, but other than that, this is a very good pair.

    Perfect fit and comfortable

Even though I do not intend to go skiing anytime soon but wear these as thermal socks for the cold days and nights and even for my future trip to Iceland. They feel amazing when put on and being true to size fit me perfectly, not super thick to the point I struggle to put on my shoes but thick enough to stop the cold coming.

They are ultimately Knee high and well have nice compression around my shins which honestly when walking long distances I get shin splints and these actually help with this not to the point of oooo yeah big difference but its a noticeable one.

Excellent quality even though they are on the tad pricey side for 2 Pairs of socks compared to others in the market hence the reasoning for 4 star’s.

First of all I thought I must have misread the product page as I was certain it said for size 3-5. Well 9ut of the packet, they look like they could fit size 11! Tried them on me (size 6.5) and they’re perfect. So where I orsered them for my eldest who is a 3.5, they’d be far too big. I’d say more size 5-7.
On the product itself, these have a 30% merino wool content so are perfect for colder months. We will actually be trying skiing this winter so hopefully these will be perfect!

Well… I am not planning on skying any time soon but I am planning on using those warm compression merino wool socks to work!
Waking up in Scottland so early in the morning that is still night out (3.30am), and having to work on my feet for long hours, I am aiming to get back home with warm feet and not swollen!
    And that’s exactly what happened!
I don’t know about skiing but shout out to all workers out there that need warm feet! Get them!
Comfortable and soft, with just enough pressure to support your feet and not to squeeze them

A lovely small detail of a red bow as extra in packaging… a hint for a lovely thoughtful Christmas present!

Got these socks to wear for work in the winter. They come in a pack of 2 and are different shades of grey in colour. I ordered size 3-5 and they fitted perfectly (I’m a size 4!).
I wear steel toe capped boots for my shifts on an ambulance, and usually use thick/ski socks for comfort and warmth most of the year. I tried them out on a shift today, was wearing them for 14 hours, it wasn’t particularly cold (around 16c outside), and these socks were perfect!
They pull up to the knees and have a slight compression factor to them, but not too tight that they feel uncomfortable. They feel soft, comfortably padded and keep your feet warm but not too hot that they sweat. On removing my boots the toe bits of the socks looked a bit wet, but they felt dry to touch.
The socks are supposed to be ‘hand wash only’ due to the merino wool. However, since I don’t hand wash anything, I just put them in the machine with my cold wash, they came out absolutely fine, no shrinking! Reasonably priced for 2 pairs, would definitely recommend.

    Comfortable and warm socks!

Oh, these are good! They are really well-made and the quality is excellent. The sizing is generous, both in the foot and in the leg, but extremely comfortable too, and I had no issues with any unwanted sliding or falling down. The sole is cushioned and protective in the right places. I like the fact they’re marked left and right too. There is a generous amount of 30% merino wool and also 16% cotton and they really are warm to wear. I have a feeling they will last well too.

At the time of writing this review, the cost is 24.99 for two pairs, and they’re definitely worth it. Happy to recommend.

These are marketed as ski socks and I am sure they would be great for that particular activity.
Personally, I got them to wear with my Wellington boots and they do the job really well.
I have tried lots of Wellington socks over the years and have generally been disappointed – They have either been too short, too slack or worn into holes too quickly.
These are great. They are not the cheapest, but the quality is top notch.
The fit is spot on and there are no uncomfortably positioned seams.
The level of elasticity, grip and support is impressive – not just around the foot area, but all the way up the calf too. This means that they stay in position well and they also help to stop your feet and legs feeling tired as a result of the helpful compression effect.

East to recommend and I hope you find these comments helpful.

Very warm and cosy merino wool socks.

Slightly compressed, so they stay up and don’t do a Nora Batty on you when wearing them.

I put these on just to try them, but kept them on all day as they were too warm and comfortable to remove.

I’m no stranger to wearing good quality socks, I only usually wear bridgedales at 25 a pair, these seem comparable, at 24.99 that’s 2 pairs for the price of one of my usual brand

I definitely recommend the grey colour, they look pretty good

Come in a little plastic zip bag and a bow for you to put on the front should you wish to gift them

    Highly recommended

Cosy and warm, lovely quality, great for winte

    Ski Socks

You get two pairs of knee length socks. The socks have a left and right indicator – though looking at them its not obvious what the difference is (even at the toe end).

The socks are elasticated (6% spandex) but easy enough to pull on, and an excellent fit around the ankle and calf. Each sock weighs 70g and they are both much thicker, warmer and more substantial than normal socks. Looking forward to trying them out in the snow.

No washing instruction on the socks, but the leaflet (& Amazon listing) suggests they should be hand washed at 30C.

The two pairs arrive in a zip-lock bag, you also get a red-bow & thank you slip together with a information leaflet in English & German.

These came in a size large, my size is a size 8 and they fit him well…… The are warm socks that are long and most suitable for his job especially now the colder months are upon us.

They are easy to put on and take off…. My son is slim but I do think anyone of a bigger build will struggle to get them on and would be too tight as they are narrow.

    The quality is OK.
The price is quite high for 2 pairs of socks, I personally wouldn’t pay this price, 15 is sufficie

Love merino wool clothing, always super comfortable and cosy feeling. These socks are no exception, they’re comfortable yet quite supportive. Nice and long be ideal for skiing or walking in winter. I plan to use mine for work with workboots. They seem well stitched and have a nice quality feel to them. They’re relatively inexpensive given how much merino items normally cost. My only very minor gripe is with the ‘grippy’ parts. These are really jut raised wool and not as I expected, a grippier material perhaps. That said they are a lovely pair of socks and 2 pair for under 25 is fantastic.

Nice quality materials make a cosy supportive sock.

Delivered in their own branded sealed bag

Inside sit two pairs of ski socks , these are made from Merino wool and are more like compression socks , they certainly give the foot and ankle plenty of support .

The sizing is excellent . I got these for my granddaughter who’s a size 4 .
Another item ticked off my granddaughter’s ski trip list very well priced considering their quality I’m happy to recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars Merino Wool Ski Socks

The quality of these socks is very good, made of 30% merino wool, 48% nylon, 16% cotton, 6 spandex. I am a huge fan of merino wool and that was the reason to order these socks. These socks are warm and thick and I like them a lot.
Sizing wise I would say they would better fit someone who is size 5, they would provide more support. I am a U.K. size 4 and I wish they were a bit smaller length wise and provided more compression.
Very good socks for skiing or for winter boots, they will most definitely keep me warm during cold season. Comfortable and cosy. Just the way I like them.

    Warm and sof

I’ve not tested these skiing yet, but I will do! They are great socks, the right amount of light compression but super soft and stretchy with it. Made from Merino wool they should be warm. They are marked left and right, but I’m not sure what the difference is. They have thicker areas in the right places. The price is good for two pairs of this quality.

I can’t wait to try these.

Love Merino wool socks because they breathe and are warm even if they get wet.
These are knee high so the warmth factor is not just inside your shoes but right upto knee level with good padding inside from various layers of extra loops etc (see pic of inside out sock next to right side round sock.
    .
The size received were 3-5 and fit my 5-5.5 uk feet if I ease the heel back to its rightful place and thats fine, they dont bunch up in my shoes at all.
I think these could probably fit a size 7 or 8 uk foot if needs be as I pulled them on and the heel was way up past my own heel, at least an inch higher and each uk size is 1/3rd of an inch between sizes.

Thickness of sole is lovely, cushiony and comfortable
The pattern is a kind of grey weave style with the name up the front and they look sporty
They have good cling without feeling like they cut off circulation and are excellently warm.

Very pleased with these indeed and feel that the price is very good for the quality .

Wash at 30 degrees C or colder, hang to dry

Very good quality and not too tight on the leg
