    They are amazing I cannot fault them so far. Easily installed by myself to a plug inside and easily set up as well. Our Wi-Fi is great with sky due to having boosters to help for the brick walls. If you find the location you want to use is struggling with Wi-Fi see if your provider will supply Wi-Fi boosters or you could get a mesh system on Amazo

    Great HD camera with microphone, light and alarm. What stops it being 5star? The motion tracking does pick up cars, and flapping washing, and the gas boiler vent steam…and large dogs (45kgs up). The documentation is missing Good step by step information so if you aren’t tech minded you may miss full feature use.

    The motion detection is a bit fiddly to set up, it’s not quite clear what is in the excluded area and what isn’t. Night vision is good, as are the alerts through the app. Does have a tendency to send alerts for any movement such as rain being driven toward the camera but allows me to keep an eye on things when I’m away, provides evidence if anything does happen, and has a deterrent effect too. The USB cable supplied is a little short but you can buy an extension. Overall a nice bit of kit for the price which does its job.

    I swear these are either improving or coming from different company’s. I’ve purchased in my time. It’s still the same somewhat software. The first 3 I purchase a long while back, didn’t give me and still won’t give me the option to have ONVIF Settings allowing me to set it up for remote pc access or motion tracking or QHD, just FHD. Probably down to the type of camera.

    The second two, I got has those settings, i’m assuming it’s the 2k version and the installation fitting is the same previous 3 i purchased, drill the holes and screw in the whole camera and it’s in place. HOWEVER.

    The last 2 which is this lot, software was exactly as the 2k, all the same settings. But the installation fitting is different. it’s got 2 pieces. This time, you don’t have to screw on the whole camera, you screw in a single small piece onto the wall and you clip on the camera, it’s that easy and simple. If anything I think customers would prefer this option. I felt this was much easier and quicker. Especially if you don’t want others to notice you putting it up. You could fit this plastic piece up and fit the wires up before others relies you putting camera.

    Anyhow, I recommend DEKCO, it’s the most simple CCTV Security, just wish they had more cheaper alternatives for other things. Especially on the energy efficient and solar charging battery.

    Bought the camera to overlook the patio fitted above the back door. Picks up anyone coming around the back or exiting the door. Tracks movement with spot lights at night. Very happy with the camera and would use again. Easy to install and set up. Get alerts on my phone when motion detected.

    This is a great security camera especially for the price. Camera images and video images are crystal clear. It was so simple to set up. Only negative feedback is that there was no sticker to display in our window which alerts people to cctv in operation. Saying that it did not say whether one would be supplied or not. I bought another similar camera which was a couple of pound less and that contained the sticker which you have to display if camera points outside of your boundary. Still a great camera though and would definitely recommend.

    I bought the security camera 3 months ago. Connect to wifi but after two months it disconnected itself and it is not connecting back. The red light is blinking but the camera does not read the barcode. After my first review The company offered an upgraded replacement which was extremely easy to install and is giving excellent viewing. I am very pleased with the service and product.

    I wanted a relatively small pan/tilt camera to protect the front of our house without spending a fortune. This camera really fits my needs and more.
    It was well packed with everything included from the camera itself, UK plug and even the screws and plugs to fit to the wall. I had it connected to WiFi and setup in a matter of minutes in order to test it before positioning on the wall.
    It has excellent picture quality and at its highest resolution of 2560×1440 the image can be enlarged and still keep good clarity. One nice thing is that the power cable from the plug to the camera is approx. 2 metres long so I was able to plug it in to a power socket in a bedroom and run the wire through the window frame to the camera without needing an extension lead. The connection to the camera uses micro USB which connects through a weatherproof seal on the camera. Some cameras only have 10-20cm cable so you then need to buy an extension cable and a junction box to waterproof the join.
    The CloudEdge companion app provides loads of features including pan/tilt, infrared night vision (in black and white) or full colour night vision using the white lights both with automatic detection when to switch from day to night vision, motion detection, motion tracking as well as alarm and notification management and device sharing to share it with other users.
    There is a (paid for) Cloud Storage Service to provide off-site secure storage of recordings in case the micro SD card storage is not sufficient for your purposes.
    Because I wanted to use the camera in a slightly unusual way I had to contact Dekco Customer Support for a little help. Their responses were quick (between a couple of hours and 2 days) by an English speaker and they were polite, knowledgeable and helpful. They obviously have a very good team, both technical and customer facing, who care about getting things right.
    I know my review sounds over the top and too good to be true but I am a genuine purchaser and bought the camera from Amazon on 30 May 2022. I am delighted with this camera and Dekco as a company.
    I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a compact, inexpensive, versatile CCTV camera with good picture quality both day and night and excellent features.

    EDIT: Had to contact Dekco-Direct Customer Service. They responded within hours and were able sort my issue with no fuss and incredibly fast. It seems that all parts of the Dekco company really have the customer in the forefront of their minds. Excellent yet again. Thank you.

    This is an amazing camera for the price. After some initial issues with outdated firmware, the camera is excellent. Initial installation and setup was easy, however I encountered an issue with the brightness of the night time camera. The seller was very quick to help me sort out this problem out and everything is now exactly as it should be.

    I bought this camera on Friday. After setting it up I found that it was basically out of focus. I contacted the company via Amazon and Anne at the company sent a replacement immediately. The replacement is fine and the picture is in focus. I found the camera very easy to set up using the app. It does everything I want. Thanks to Anne for sorting this out. I was told to keep the original so no hassle returning it either. I will update this review once I install and use it.

    Nice unit, good value for money, the only issue is image quality. I just can’t see the 2k quality. Images uploaded to my phone appears slightly distorted, nowhere near the quality of my Samsung mobile phone in movie mode or stills.

    The app just works. The Cameras just work. I plugged my first one in not thinking it would be great but I am blown away. The clarity the connection speed the easy to use app. I know I sound like a bot but seriously impressed. The 2 in the image are up on the wall and the third is out front. I have linked through ISPY so they record to a local server 24/7. The night vision is amazing and having the ability to turn on the lights to scare the foxes away is great. They have also survived some seriously heavy wind and rain over the last few days now its just record and forget till I need the footage.Would recommend these to anyone. If your a techno phobe they are perfect. The app set up is just click click set wifi details point qr at screen and done your linked. Again am super happy with such and awesome camera

I must say with Amazon outstanding Customers and HIGHTECH, they are a match made in heaven.     It’s early days but at the discounted price of 33 this ptz camera was worth a go as a back up to our ring cameras.

    Set up is easy and today I fitted one of the 2 Cameras to the facia above the garage.

    Initially the camera was very laggy but after rebooting my WiFi router all was good.

    Not tried the night vision yet but daytime pics are very impressive and still to fit an SD card.

    One thing that’s been entertaining us is the Motion tracking.

    The only downside I can see is the limited length of the power cable but extensions are available on Amazon.

    If things change I will edit the review but at the moment it’s a 10 from me….

    This camera is probably the best camera you can get for the money. The picture quality is great the connectivity is good and set up was a doddle. The camera is nearly on par with ring and in some areas better such as remote tracking and camera angle or view adjustment. What let’s it down are two things.
    1. The electrical connection into the camera is on the outside body of the camera and not coming out of the rear straight into the wall which is concealed when fitted making it tamper proof. This cameras electrical connection is exposed so it can be easily pulled out if within reach.

    2. The software is not brilliant constantly gives false warnings especially if it’s raining or windy even when you set no motion zones and the sensitivity to low it still sets warnings off. However it does of a good selection of options and functionality. If it wasn’t for this I would give it 5 stars

    Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI purchased a DEKCO camera on 25 April 2022 and I was so impressed that I wrote a glowing report on Amazon 30th April 2022. As I was so impressed, I purchased another on 7June 2022. The only difference between the two cameras was:-(a) The the second camera has Humanoid Detection which in essence, means the camera follows the movement of any, for example, intruders in its view. (b) The power supply cable on the first camera was a conventional Male to Female cable seen on most of these cameras and did not present any connection problem at all. When I opened the box containing the second camera (The Humanoid Detection Camera) ie this camera, I saw it was a mini USB connection. Try as I might, I could not get the Male USB power lead to fit into the camera and so, disappointingly,I was left with no choice but to return the camera right away albeit I did order the same camera from Amazon immediately thinking it was a one off defect. The next day I received the routine email from the supplier asking for my opinion on this model camera. I explained my disappointment in not being able to power up the camera. I received virtually an immediate response pointing out that it wasn’t a manufacturing defect but the ‘bung’ at the base of the camera into which the USB power fits, has to be first taken out and the power cable fitted through the aperture of the ‘bung’ and then into the camera and then the ‘bung’ pressed back into place. Had there been a brief note to this effect contained within the box with the other instructions etc, it wouldn’t have been a problem and I wouldn’t of returned the camera. The next day my re-ordered camera arrived and I did as I had been advised ie take the ‘bung’ out first and then insert the lead through the ‘bung’ and the put the ‘bung’ back in place and the camera powered up perfectly. As I already had a DEKCO camera and app, it took me less than 2 minutes to connect my second camera and then I was able to put the camera in situ. I can say that both of my DEKCO cameras work perfectly, they are brilliant cameras. My back garden is literally pitch black but these cameras show everything in view, perfectly. Other than the one hiccup with the power lead that I’ve mentioned, I’ve no hesitation in recommending this camera and in fairness, once I raised the issue reference the power lead, I got a virtual immediate response and advice and was able to set up the camera. This supplier is known for its prompt response with any issues or advice.
    PS. After carefully monitoring these two camera over this period, I have been so impressed that on 21 July (2022) I have just purchased my third camera so I now have full coverage of my home and can only reiterate, that these cameras are excellent in every function.

    Originally purchased the 1080p version and then replaced it with this one. Would DEFINITELY recommend this model over the previous 1080p version. This model has a much wider angle lens, tracks very well and is Alexa enabled via the cloud edge alexa skill (something I missed with original model). I’m yet to see if this one handles rain better than the last (as it would detect motion of rain and then stay lit up), but all in all I am much more impressed with the 2k version. The seller I purchased from (HIGHTECH-EU) was also incredibly helpful and offered some of the best customer service I have ever received! Can’t praise them enough.

    Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersOverall the cameras are top notch quality of night vision and day vision, one issue I’ve had is the SD cards records a clip but something causes it to become corrupt unfortunately this then causes the SD card to not be recognised until removed and either re formatted or the corrupt file be removed. Customer service are brilliant though and are now working on a fix assuming via software update, and providing cloud storage while the fix is implemented.

    But the cameras have worked for there intended purpose, we had a serial dumper by our garage… now when I say dumper you’d be partially correct thinking flytipping but that’s only the tip of the iceberg, he would also dump the contents of his rectum at the same time as fly tipping, unfortunately he didn’t notice the camera until it was too late. And now these seem worth there cost knowing he received a 200 fine, loss of job for fly tipping in a company vehicle, and also criminal damage charges from the police

    We received our Dekco security cameras on the day given. Unpacked the cameras to set them up but unfortunately the power did not come on. Sent the company a message and the technical team contacted us very quickly. They gave us suggestions to try and a telephone number in case they were still not working. Anne was great my partner Paul went through everything with her and she said there is obviously an issue with the power not coming on. She advised she would send us 2 more cameras via Amazon. They arrived yesterday and work. They are easy to set up and the picture quality is fantastic. You get alerts which is great but you can also talk to someone through the camera which is something we really wanted. We would like to say a big thank you to Dekco technical team who was fast and efficient at sorting out our issue. I would not hesitate using Dekco again or recommending their products. Was so nice to deal with a company that is not only helpful but also do what they say are going to do.

A replacement came from the company which appeared to have the same fault. There was however no fault at all. After distinguishing an instruction to ‘remove the CAP fitted over the power imput slot’ from the correct instruction ‘remove the SEAL around the power unit slot’, this camera kicked into gear. Very easy to set up. Performance is very good. The support received from this company and in particular Anne, was first class. Many thanks folks

    Camera keeps defaulting to horizontal position even when motion detection zone is set to a specific area ( back garden ) so unless your happy to see if anyone is on the roof opposite , then this is probably not the ideal camera for you. Tried resetting numerous times but to no avail, also the privacy setting function is a waste of time as camera never wakes up when this option is selected
    Excellent after sale customer service with the issues i had with the camera

    They are quite sensitive, even after I found the option to reduce it. The online help page doesn’t align with this model but the information from customer service arrived it made more sense.

    Mine are positioned overlooking a garden so I can’t speak about a high traffic area but they do the job.

    I’m also glad to have a direct contact in customer services who is very helpful – not always the case hence me revisiting to give further information

    There’s an option to change sensitivity apparently but it’s not on the app

    Can’t blame the seller, it arrived quick. Unfortunately due to a manufacturing fault I was unable to fit the power lead. I msg seller, they were a great help, a full refund is being issued. I probably will be buying again at nice refund is back in my account. I think I was just unlucky to get a faulty one. The feedback for this is brilliant don’t be put off because I happened to get one with a manufacturer’s fault.
