Superior to the official elite strap
I’ve the official elite strap *without* a battery and this a far more comfortable in spite of the added weight, which honestly I don’t even notice. It’s a nicer fit and so far has cracked, where as my elite strap has.
Battery works well. Had it around aontb and no noticeable issues although I don’t play much so I haven’t even done a full cycle.

Perfect design that distributes the weight of the headset evenly across the head, ensuring that it doesn’t cause any uncomfortable pressure points or headaches. Additionally, the built-in power supply adds a bit of extra weight, but it is well balanced and doesn’t affect the overall comfort.
A little tricky to install at first, because I hadn’t realized that the original strap that ships with the Oculus can slide off with some elbow grease, but overall a very impressive product that allows for an enjoyable VR experience.

An no se en cuanto tiempo, la batera de la correa, mejora la continuidad de los tiempos de juego pero siempre es de agradecer el aumento que sea, que sin duda lo es.
Se adapta perfectamente y sin esfuerzo alguno a las gafas y, por poner alguna pega, dir que si se tiene una caja de transporte original de Oculus, aunque encaja perfectamente, hay que tener un cierto cuidado con el cable de conexin de la batera con las gafas para evitar que lo pille la cremallera de cierre de la caja.
Por otro lado, el precio, parece un poco excesivo para lo que es en si el producto. Con todo creo que es una compra recomendable

spot on extra gaming time
my daughter loved this, fits her oculus very well, its comfortbale and doesnt add much more weight to the head strap, easy to recharge and last for ages.. so once the oculus battery runs low just switch this one on and carry on gaming for a good few hours more,

Just the job
At 42 this is a decent strap for a VR headset. It is comfortable to wear, and makes operation easy. Well made, to a decent budget.
Great for extra VR time
The Quest 2 is very power-hungry and the headset’s built-in battery drains relatively fast, I used to have a homemade version of this strap with a power bank velcroed onto the premium strap but this works way better, it’s lightweight, with a generous battery size. Easily adjusted, and is white to match the headset. perfect.

This accessory is really easy to install. It’s really comfortable and it allows you to play your Quest for much longer.
Having the battery on the back balances some of the weight on the front from the Quest itself.
The dial tightening device adjusts to the size of your head really well and the black head strap adds extra security.

I got this to extend my game play or for when I forgot to charge my headset. I thought this would work and it does with minor nitpicks.
This is an elite style head strap, like the Quest 2 Original elite battery strap. But this is half the price! The plastic and build quality is good. I don’t think the strap arms are going to break like the originals are known to do. Very easy to install and I like that the side arms have a built-in lever you can pull on to take off this strap.
I’m used to halo style straps since the have the BOBOVR M2 Pro. It sits on your forehead like a halo so most of the weight is taken off your face. This one is pretty comfortable but I do feel more weight on my face which I don’t like. Also I do wish that the back and top of the straps were cushioned. The back is just a soft plastic and top is just made of thin vinyl. I also have a Kiwi strap and that comes with cushioned straps. The back attachment once installed cannot be uninstalled. I’ve tried.
As for battery performance, I’ve used it while my Quest 2 was at 50% and played Beat Saber for 30 minutes. The battery level never decreased but when up to 55%. So I’m pretty confident that this would charge your headset during play and extend your battery life.
Overall, it does the job but I wish it was more comfortable. It’s about 50% cheaper than the original elite strap and $20 cheaper than a Kiwi battery strap. If you’re ok without padded or cushioned straps, get this to save a bit of money. 4 s here bro!
Better and half the price!
I would prefer this over the elite strap with battery from meta because the wire just gets everywhere and it dangles off when the battery is out. This is a more simple and minimal design that just needs plugging into the usb c port and It doesn’t even come wired, would prefer this, definitely. You are more obliged to buy the elite strap with battery from meta which is over 100, but I just wanted to buy this and not be strap and it comes out cheaper. This gave me around 1.5hrs of heavy gameplay, wish it could last longer but still would recommend.
Anything that adds a bit more playing time is a bonus.
I find these are perfectly balanced especially on my square head which is an accomplishment just in itself. It’s very rare that I get wins like this on the tinternet so I’ll take this one.
In regards to the amount of extra time I’m getting an extra 3 to 3 and half hours on beat saber which I am extremely happy about and it’s a lot comfier than I thought it may be.

Easy set-up, comfortable. Superb battery.
This device should be a mainstay for any VR enthusiast. Setup was straightforward and took roughly 5 minutes to complete. Whilst wearing, the rachet system allows a very comfortable, quick fit for the head, allowing precision adjustments using the fitting dial on the rear of the strap. This is also essential for finding the right spot for the clearest images, preventing blurry visuals during use, and finding the right interpupillary distance adjustment for the headset lenses.
Rear battery balances out weight distribution of the headset, preventing slippage when wearing for longer periods. Combined with the top strap, this fits immensely better than just the stock cloth straps. The 6000 mAh battery is superb, allowing simultaneous charging of both the headset and battery whilst plugged in using USB-C port. When used in conjunction with the headset battery, it works similar to the dual battery strategy of the Lenovo ThinkPad T-480 series laptop, where one battery kicks in after the primary one is drained. Thoroughly enjoyed the product!

As a VR gamer, the Quest 2 standard head strap is very poor. Add onto that the poor battery length of the Quest 2 which is around 2-2 1/2 hours and there is a need to improve both. That is where this replacement head strap from AMVR comes in.
Inside the box you get the head strap, the rear rubber head cup, the top strap, instructions and warranty card. The instructions are detailed, showing diagrams on how to fit the AMVR strap, and fitting takes around 10 minutes to fit.
In use, this is a fantastic head strap. The main aim of this is to extend your play time, and with its 6000 mAh battery, it does this well. The battery in the Quest 2 is a 3640 mAh which gives around 2 hours or so, so this will add about another 3-4 hours of use, which is phenomenal.
Having the battery head strap installed also balances the weight better on your head, as the Quest 2 is very front heavy and this helps to alleviate any neck strain.
Once the Quest 2 is powered up, pressing the button on the back of the head strap turns the charging on, and you notice in the headset the charging icon. You can also charge the Quest 2 whilst it is turned off, so its fully charged for when you are ready to jump back intro VR.
One thing to remember, if you are playing on the Quest and start charging it as well, it will still drain the power. The difference though is that the power takes a lot longer to go down as the battery (or mains for that matter) doesn’t supply enough power to charge whilst playing. By that I mean, if you are completely charged, and the head strap battery is also fully charged, the charge icon will be displayed, but the power will still o down slowly, which is where the extended play time comes in.
2 things that have slightly annoyed me though. The battery in this seems to take an absolute age to charge. I guess that as its almost twice as large as the Quest 2 battery it will take twice as long, but I still think its longer than that. The other thing, which is relatively minor is the catch on either side that attach to the Quest 2 arms squeak a bit when you press them (video attached of that). You don’t notice it when playing, but it has worried me a bit that they aren’t fitted right (they are as I can’t simply pull them off)
Overall though this is a fantastic head strap and is highly recommended for any Quest 2 users.

Great product and charges quest however I have the quest 2 (see pic above) and this does not fit as it is not long enough

Got it setup in no time & has just as much comfort as any other elite strap.
The headset is easy to loosen & tighten using the notch on the rear and makes it super easy to get a comfortable fit.
The 6,000mAh battery pack offers hours more worth of gaming/entertainment and doesn’t actually add that much weight to it. I was expected an uncomfortable addition of weight but no!!
Nice quality plastic and clear consideration has been put into the important parts (tightening notch, where it joins to the quest 2 and the straps).
Essential purchase
If you have a Quest 2 then you need something like this. It’s as simple as that. It adds much needed battery life. While the inbuilt battery is probably fine for a single person’s session, you must have this if you have a friend or perhaps a sibling that you share with. This adds little weight and its still very comfortable. I’d go as far as to say it helps counter balance the device slightly. Thoroughly recommended.

i was quite surprised by the size when the product arrived, very slim and lightweight too (335g only)
it’s very easy to install, quite comfortable to use, if the top could be replaced with something other than a strap, that will be much better, but i believe it’s a trade off for weight
the usb plug could stay connected to oculus charging port as the battery pack could be turned on and off with the little button, very convenient
all in all, i’m happy with this product, would recommend

Extremely comfortable, it helps with the weight so it balances correctly, doesn’t bob about when you move your head, the goggles don’t feel heavy when they are on, they stay in place better, head strap has a large rear knob in the back which is also easier to adjust when it’s on your head, my face doesn’t hurt at all, the padding is great at the back also which helps support my neck while on, only double side with the head strap is it doesn’t really allow for you to wear headphones over your Quest 2 unless they’re absurdly wide which then makes them uncomfortable to wear & heavy on your head
I have been viewing the modular elite straps because I like to option to seat the back of the headband and then flip down the front. It just works better with a ponytail or a larger head....or glasses. This elite strap had the features I wanted without giving up the extended battery. Many of the modular straps do not have the battery. Also, the battery provides a counterbalance to the headset, which increases comfort for longer wear time. The only thing I didn't like was that, once I put the back head bracket onto the band I could not remove it. It snaps in but I am afraid that I would break it trying to undo it. It would be good to have that feature if I wanted to store the headband in the original box. Time will tell on the battery life. I have yet to run it all the way down.

This head strap for Oculus Quest 2 is ideal to extend gaming time thanks to the built in 6,000mAh battery, allowing you to continue for up to an additional 4 hours.
The headset itself is comfortable, flexible and lightweight, even with the built in battery. There’s a dial on the back so you can adjust the head strap to fit pretty much all heads, as well as a battery indicator so you know when to recharge.
All in all, it’s a good head strap for comfort and extending playtime.

Absolutely worth it for the added battery life (especially as the battery life isn’t great on the Quest 2. Easy to set up and use; comfortable and quite lightweight; good quality and style. Price is reasonable for this item and the extra play time with the battery pack.

I have went through a few head straps , This one is perfect the battery weight evens out the weight. It’s really covetable and looks identical to the name brand upgrade one. The only difference I can find is the plastic is thicker and that’s a good thing. The battery life is AMAZING!!

TLDR: If you want to spend more time in your Quest 2 this is a great headstrap you can buy to add some good counterweight for comfort but also extend your time in standalone VR.

Well balanced battery optio
I think the primary selling point of these is to extend the battery life of the Quest 2 (which it does) but for me it is more about comfort.
I was initially concerned about adding extra weight to the Quest 2 but having the battery pack on the back adds overall balance to everything and it’s more comfortable to wear with the longer play times. The USB-C cable is the right length to connect to the Quest and since it’s a 90-degree adapter it doesn’t stick out too far. I absolutely love the twist knob on the back to adjust the fit. To top it all off, the strap pivots to make getting it on and off so much easier.
The only nag I have about this set is that they put the charging port for the battery pack on the bottom of the unit. I just turn the Quest upside down to charge since I don’t want the cable to be pinched at all. Top or side charging port would have been better.
Again, the extra battery life is what I wanted, but all these extra features are what I didn’t know I needed. Cannot recommend this set enough. Six stars if I could.
I don't know if my battery was shot or they're just very small on the oculus 2 but mine was constantly low. It felt so hard to maintain a charge. This really really helps and makes me want to actually use my headset. Way more comfortable too.
