I bought three sets of mirrors for my e-bike and it wasn’t until I got these could I install them so they could actually be used. Love these!

No problems at all. Pop out your existing handlebar plugs, insert the mirrors, adjust the angle and tighten the screw. Less than 15 minutes. No problem with glare.

In a nutshell, these mirrors have all the features that my previous mirror lacked. The smallish diameter male expanding mounts seem designed go into most handlebar diameters and mount really easy, secure and fast, in like under 2 minutes, that is if you have your own tool that fits the allen bolts .

I also like how these are rectangular and I can flip them outboard of the stem and go vertical or on top for horizontal. The Electra mirrors would not flip vertically which I determined as soon as I started using them is the position I preferred that would give me the best view of the road behind me.

Having tools, installing and adjusting 1 these was a breeze for me. I liked the 1 so much that I snapped off the one remaining Trek Electra Bar End Mirror that I had had to jury rig into the left handlebar and modify to stabilize the mirror in it’s mount, of my Trek Verve 2 in order to replace it with the second one of these.

I do have one complaint about these that I all ready mentioned that I’ll elaborate on: A wrench that fits the Allen bolts should be included but isn’t. So people who buy these and don’t have a set of Allen wrenches are going to be SOL because this product not only doesn’t come with a wrench, but not even any instructions that would tell the purchaser without tools what size allen wrench to borrow or buy to install them.

Unlike the crapola I snapped off, The handlebar mounts of these mirrors seem to be universal & actually go into the handlebar ends and expand out quite a bit when screwed in, to grip the inside of any handlebar size very well. Then adjusting the mirrors and tighten as much as I want to make them as stiff as I want.

I have always used small round mirrors. They attach low on the handlebar so I have to move my head to get a safe view. This mirror sits several inches above the handlebars and gives an instant and wide view. It came with a mirror for the right side of the bike which I don’t need. Definitely a 5 star item.

I bought these mirrors because of the end-of-handlebar insertion mounting. I have a lot of “junk” on the left handlebar because I am an amputee and cannot reach controls, etc on the right side. I particularly appreciate the stability of this mirror (I chose to mount only 1). It is almost free of vibration, better than other mirrors I have used. The structure of the mount does not allow the arm to be etc at any angle other than 90 to the bar but the ball joint attaching the mirror to the mount allows the mirror to be offset in either direction. The mirror itself is relatively small and the black frame around it took a little getting accustomed but the rear-facing image is clear and I think the frame will protect from edge nicks. Mounting was easy, assisted by the included Allen key.

These mirrors are great for anyone that commutes daily on their bike like I do. I cycle about 25 miles a day and have never had mirrors in all the years I’ve cycled. But I can honestly say these make me feel a lot safer on the roads knowing what’s behind me and how close vehicles are. They are easy to install and I had them installed in no time at all following the instructions. They are adjustable so that you can position them where you like to get the best view of what’s behind you. They are lightweight and they are very clear. I have no problem seeing what’s behind me now.
Overall if you commute a lot then I can definitely recommend these.

These aftermarket bike mirrors are genuinely great. I purchased them for my Brompton to aid rear visibility, especially as the darker evenings are drawing near. I have plenty of other visibility aids but I had never thought about trying rear view mirrors before until a friend of mine recently purchased some. It took me straight back to my childhood days when I owned a Rayleigh Chopper when I was lucky enough to have the model with fixed side mirrors. Those were the best days

These are a modern day equivalent, albeit probably a bit safer and less prone to damage than my old chopper ones were. You receive a complete pair in the box and each one has a large (but not overly so) 3 inch round lens. The manufacturers do offer a few different designs and styles to suit your individual bike and personal tastes, but I preferred the look and design of these particular beauties. The glass lens has a pre-applied shatterproof film so, should the worst happen, you won’t be left with lots of tiny potential puncture risks lying around in your immediate vicinity- lol!

The mirrors appear to be really well made and are super simple and easy to install. Do take note: – you will need a handlebar with open ended grips, or possibly a pre-cut hole design or these just won’t work. That is u less you intend to take an angle grinder to the ends of your bike frame -eeek! The mirror support slots directly into the hole and you then simply tighten a hex screw to expand the inner clamping mechanism. The clamp will expand between 12mm and 24mm so please ensure you measure the opening in your handlebars first to confirm these will fit. Once secure a separate hex screw further up the frame allows you to rotate the lens to your preferred angle of dangle. Each lens is rotatable through a full 360 degree, with a further lean to angle of 180 degrees. A small Allen key is included to help tighten everything up.

They look absolutely fabulous and do everything I would both want them to, and need them to. I cannot find anything to fault or dislike about these at all and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. A cracking product at a very reasonable price. Perfect!

The pair bike mirrors came well packaged in a box. Both mirrors were easy to install on a push bike, they feel sturdy and well made. The plastic on the mirrors seems strong. When riding the bike, the visibility is very good on the mirrors and the image there is no shaking distorting the image on them. I also think that these are a good safety measure to have on a bike, as it gives you more visibility of other road users on the road behind you. I think the current price of this pair bike mirrors is defiantly worth it.

These mirrors are a great addition to my bike, allowing me to be significantly more aware of vehicles approaching me from behind. They’re really well made, with decent quality plastics and what appears to be stainless steel hardware. The mirrors are very clear to see through, with a convex shape, allowing a wider view. The lenses are quite compact, but are still useful for seeing what’s behind you, and are definitely dampened to stay in focus on all but the gnarliest of tracks. The mirrors themselves are on ball and socket joints, allowing a good amount of adjustment, along with the ability to fold them inwards when you need to rest your bike down or against a wall.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI recently got an eScooter – it is beyond me why none of the manufacturers include a mirror! It is most necessary on ANY vehicle that you cannot take your hands off of the handlebars! Even looking over your shoulder could end badly with these tiny wheeled scateboards with a stick! LOL ANYWAY, these mirrors worked very well. This was the third mirror I tried.

Theses mirrors are also a good buy since you get a pair. They install easily, quickly, and securely! Once installed, the mirror stays put and has a good field of vision – what more can you ask for from a mirror! These do not stick out so far that you can no longer get through a doorway, yet still extend enough that you see behind you instead of your arm. I have only had the mirror installed for a couple of rides. If I have issues later, I will update this review – for now – 5 stars.

Good quality mirrors which are eady to fit into the end of the handlebars and with all the adjustment you could reasonably need. The image is excellent and shaking is not a problem

Downsides, they are relatively heavy – not likely to be a problem for likely utility bike purposes. They are also fairly dear at 25 I felt for pretty ordinary and heavyish polypropylene fitments

This is an excellent pair of good quality bike mirrors which fit inside the ends of handlebars via an Allen-key screw fitting. This expands internally to fit handlebars of 14-24mm to provide a tight and secure fitting. An allen key is included in the pack together with a cleaning cloth for the mirror lens.

The angle of the stem can be adjusted while fitting and, once in place, then the circular mirrors can be rotated up, down or sideways on their ball joint to give the optimum rear view. The mirrors are fitted with convex glass providing a wide-angle rear view so the cyclist is always aware of traffic behind and particularly when about to be overtaken or when planning a move across a carriageway to turn. I feel the use of a good pair of wide-angle mirrors are safer than taking eyes off the road ahead to look over my shoulder to the rear.

I have tested them on both my touring bike and a smaller folding e-bike. The folding e-bike has narrow handlebars but these mirrors can be fully-rotated to the outside of the stem ensuring they give a rear view of the road and traffic rather than the cyclist’s are – unlike some other times with less flexibility and plain glass. The flexibility and ability to fold the mirrors either to the outside of the stem during use and then inside the stem for protection makes them especially well suited to folding bikes. Although not their intended method of fitting, the mirrors can also be placed beneath the handlebar. It means momentarily taking eyes off the road while cycling to look down but is an option, if preferred or for a less conventional bike. The mirrors can also be used on scooters, both kick-scooters and mobility scooters.

I used them in some torrential showers and thunderstorms last week and noted how the rain ran off the surface rather than pooling.

I wouldn’t hesitate to order these agai

This is a review of one of the two mirrors supplied. They can be used on either side of the bike.

The mirror is supplied with an Allen key and was fitted in a few minutes to the end of my straight bars. It is mainly constructed of plastic but of good quality. The website description talks of a shatterproof film over the lens. All I can say is the lens is clear and has a similar visual quality as a car mirror. I have not tried scraping the surface to demonstrate a film or see how it is constructed. The joints allow the mirror to be oriented in multiple directions to suit riding style and to optimise view of the road. The optics are good and it gives a clear, wide view of the road.

My preference is to use a mirror on the right side of my bike only. I have previously tried a number of inexpensive mirrors before but they did not come near to this one for clarity, adjustments and view of the road.

Since my scooter accident I’ve been using my bike instead to get around. I always liked the idea of more visibility and safety. I’ve been reading quite a few reviews about this product and now I am happy to own one. First I heard about them from one of my family members who loves cycling. It was very easy to install these end bike mirrors to my handlebar. As it is only suitable for open ended grips I had to cut a hole on mine, but it was not a big deal. They look great and now I am always more aware of my surroundings. I find them extremely useful when I turn left and a car next to me is also turning left. The images are very clear. The mirror is rotatable and adjustable so you can find the perfect position. I could not be more pleased. Fantastic item.

I got this for my son’s bicycle. The mirrors come with all the accessories needed to install the back mirror at the end of the bicycle handle. It comes in a pair of two which help to cover both sides.

The mirror has a clear reflection and it’s easy to adjust as per your liking. The outer material is strong and can absorb minor falls. It’s good value for money and I had no issues with this.

  34. Anonymous says:

These are certainly useful. My neck doesn’t turn as far as it used to! Now I get a perfectly clear view behind, without turning my head at all (which isn’t to say I never look over my shoulder). The image they show is stable on smooth roads and easy to see at a glance. On rough surfaces, there is inevitably some vibration, and then they’re of limited value.

They add some width to the bike, of course. That will be a problem in some circumstances but has the benefit of encouraging car drivers to give you a wider berth.

The mirrors are easy to install and stay put once in place, but you may well have to cut holes in the ends of your grips first. They seem quite well made and could be a worthwhile addition to many bikes. I just wish they weren’t from China. I try not to put money into the Chinese economy, given many of China’s activities around the world, so would be reluctant to buy.

These seem of reasonable quality. Straightforward to fit. Nice idea if you’re a little nervous road biking and want a little extra all-round vision. They do stick out, but not excessively. Good rotation of the mirrors, to position them best for yourself. They’re not very light, but also not very heavy either. Good sized mirror that is nice and clear.

It states not for drop handle bikes, but mine works great. I love the firm fixture as you turn the screw with Allen key and it works like a wall plug so doesn’t bounce around when I ride. Great angles so I can see my blind spot on both sides or angle one for a longer rear view. Overall, I’m impressed with this set of mirrors. Handy cleaning cloth and water beads and drops off easily, no fogging as yet. Good price, as safety is everything on the road.

I ride a road handcycle and for a while I have been using a rear mirror clamped on to the footrest. This vibrated badly on rough roads and had a tendency to drop down over time. I liked the look of this new one as it clamps tightly into the end of a handlebar, on in my case the end of the footrest. I tried it in a few positions until satisfied that I had the best rear view and am very happy with it. The convex lens gives me a much wider road view than my previous mirror, yet it’s no larger. The ball bracket on the end is stiff, which means it doesn’t move around during riding, but it can still flip back if I go through a narrow bike gate and clip it. Though this happens much less often with this mirror as it sticks out far less than my old one did.

I’ll ride with it for a few weeks before deciding whether to fit the other mirror on the nearside, otherwise the second one can be donated to another handcyclist. Due to the way these are mounted onto the footrest there’s no real difference between right and left, making them both useable on the off side of a handcycle.

At 26 for the pair I think theses are decent value.

Good clamping mechanism, love the convex lens

I can quite happily throwing myself around a mountain bike park without being nervous, but as soon as I ride on the road, I am a bundle of nerves – had so many instances of drivers seeing how close they can get to me.

At least now I can see when there are cars approaching or are behind me and have more awareness of there spatial presence to me – I went for the rectangular mirrors as I like the option of using in either portrait or landscape orientation.

Obviously these don’t stop the drivers passing too close, but it gives me a better sense of where they are in relation to me and also what is coming up in front of me.

The other main benefit, is that I can see the electric cars now – some of these are so quiet, I don’t know they’re there until they go to pass.

Overall, at 25.99 (at the time of review – September 2022), I would say these mirrors are great value – well made and give me that extra awareness of what is going on behind me.

An easy and definite 5 imho.

I ordered this Briskmore bicycle wing mirror set for use with my cargo E-Bike when towing my trailer to give me a little bit more visibility and spatial awareness due to the extended length and width of the rig as a whole.

It’s very straightforward to fit the mirrors and they provide plenty of adjustability with swivel and tilt so it’s easy to get the best view of the road behind while riding. They’re very well made and the quality of the convex glass lenses is very good as the reflection is perfectly clear with no distortion. They obviously make the bars a little wide but it’s minimal and doesn’t affect my riding experience overall.

The mirrors are a great addition to my cargo bike setup that makes a difference and I’m more than happy to recommend them.

Blown away by the clarity of these mirrors in comparison to the old ones I had.

The photo speaks for itself. Check out my old mirrors with the new ones. I tried positioning the mirrors in the same spot to show you the difference.

The old mirrors were centred in the middle of the handle bars this made it difficult to see past your shoulders and the quality was horrendous. I would be lucky to even see a car whilst cycling.

These new mirrors in comparison is as if I have just put on a new pair of prescription glasses. It’s just so clear! No more nervousness and anxiety I can see all the cars around me now.

Very easy to install and has a universal fit. Just place into the end of the handle bar and tighten with an Allen key (which is provided).

Crystal clear HD mirrors with a wide mirror view.

Easily ajustable in all directions to get the best angles.

Having the mirrors on the ends of the handle bars adds maybe an extra inch to the length of the bar.

    Nicely made and designed.

The arm attached to the end of your handlebar by means of an allen key screw driving out two ribbed cams against the inside of the tube. It’s very secure, and very easy to fit and adjust. The end has a rubber washer to mate closely with the handlebar.

The mirror is concave, but nice and even, such that there aren’t any ‘warped’ areas; it simply shows a wider scene than a flat mirror would. Visibility behind one is good.

The mirror is mounted onto the arm by a ball joint. The compression on this can be adjusted by an allen key screw.

There is a wide range of movement of the mirror, such that you can easily find a suitable position. However, there is no position, other than mounting the arm such that the mirror trails the handlebars, where a knocked mirror can fold backwards; if forced in that direction, the mirror would break off the ball joint. I feel like this is a bit of a missed opportunity at the design stage; simply mounting the ball joint at 90 degrees facing outwards would give all the flexibility of position one needs, plus protecting the mirror by allowing it to fold back. Once can mitigate this by having the mirror folded inboard rather than outboard, though of course it will give a less useful image.

A final missed opportunity is that the back (front?) of the mirror – the side facing forwards – could usefully have a reflector on it; instead it is black plastic.

I have two bikes and these work well with my mountain bike when I am on the open road. I must admit to being worried about cars getting too near or the other cyclists overtaking without warning. With these mirrors, though I may look less cool, they can be a lifesaver.

They attach to the handlebars by removing the original grips. Not as easy to remove the grips in my case, but once these are adjusted for your sightline, you can see what’s happening behind you.

These are very helpful rear view mirrors for use on a bike or scooter.

Design is excellent with a sturdy stem which fits into the end of the bike handlebar then expands internally to create a firm grip. The mirror is convex which gives a wide angle view of traffic (or people) behind for safety and the angle can be adjusted so the mirror is vertical, horizontal or tilted on its ball joint.

I’ve used it on my full size touring bike and on my small folding bike with 16″ wheels and narrow handlebars. Many mirrors are not suitable for narrow handlebars and give an image of just the cyclist’s arms but this mirror set is suitable for all bikes and gives a good view behind.

Photos show mirror fitted the right handlebar of 16″ folding bike with narrow handlebars and second mirror fitted to the full size bike with full-width handlebars to illustrate how effective it is on different size bikes.

Probably the best I’ve used with a good, sturdy construction and I wouldn’t hesitate to order further pairs for all of my 7 bikes. Very highly recommended for all bikes.

These are well made mirrors that do not weigh a great deal.

The mirror lens are clear and without any noticeable blemishes and there is quite a bit of adustment available so that a good view of behind the cycle is obtainable. Everything required to fit and use the mirrors is supplied (a small allen key wrench and a cleaning cloth) and it all comes in a well packed box.

Once fitted to the ends of the handlebar (they fit inside the end of the handle bar, not over it), they are not too obtrusive or stick out too much. This can depend to a degree on where the mirror is positioned – on top or to either side of the stalk. The stalk itself appears to be quite rugged and will hopefully sustain the occasional knock, but so far I have not had the misfortune to experience this.

The clarity of the view behind will depend a little on the suface being ridden; on tarmac the view is really clear, while if on a gravel trail then vibration will set in, although on the trails I ride visibility is still very useful.

I am very happy to have been able to try these mirrors. They have added a bit more to my enjoyment while out riding and now I have ample warning of the ‘speed freaks’ who insist on cruising swiftly up behind me and the wife and then squeeze past at breakneck speed without any warning. Before using these mirrors my head was on a swivel and I spent as much time looking behind as looking forward (OK, a slight exaggeration maybe).

The manufacturer also does a set with rectangular mirrors instead of round.

Well worth fitting to a bike.

These mirrors are nicely presented in a simple card box. They’d make a good gift. Very easy to fit; you insert the bar into the end of the handlebar and tighten with Allen key. Once fitted they hold well and seem secure. There’s a slight issue in that they stick out and as there’s one on each side, p they do add to clearance required.

They seem to be very well made and the glass is clear and easy to see what’s behind. The seller support seems good and all in all, if you want mirrors on your bike, you won’t go wrong with these.

I really like bar end mirrors, they look good and they are a good safety measure.

These are solid and really easy to fit. They slot into bar ends and when you tighten the bolt they expand to grip the inside of the bar.

You can adjust the mirror position via a seperate allen bolt. They also include an allen key in the box to make fitting easy.

They are solid and the mirrors are crystal clear giving an easy view behind and around you.

I’m a coach for a national disability sports charity and some of our handcycles are used for competitions and road events. In these circumstances we need mirrors but often those supplied with our cycles are simple flimsy versions that get broken or lost very quickly.

I really like these as they fit into a handlebar, in our case the tubing of the footrest, and are easy to fit and easily positioned. The internal bracket tightens into the tube with a few turns of a hex key, which is included. Once angled into a good rear view they stay in position well, and if knocked are very easy to reposition. The convex glass gives a great rear view and the clarity is excellent.

After a few miles of track work these had retained position and the riders reported a good stable image of the cycles behind. At 26 for a pair I think they price is fine as they work so well.

Stable and with a good view, easy to fit too

I love this, solid and well made and I’m so sad I can’t actually use them on my bike! I requested these to review because the bike mirrors I use are a bit wobbly and I’d prefer them to be a bit bigger and further out from my bike – so these are perfect. My partner has these now because his bike has hollow handles which these are made for, just remove the ends and locate the mirrors. My Trek bike doesn’t so make sure you check your handles are hollow with a removable end before buying. So sadly I just look at these being used on my partner’s bike who says they are perfect and I have to muddle on with my wobbly ones!

It’s always been a challenge for me to specifically turn right in the street to get home and check the traffic. This resolves it. It also means I can now easily check traffic behind at any time.
Fit is good. Goes into the end of my hybrid bike handles. You then spend a bit of time getting the height and angle correct – does not take long. The great thing is you get the tool to get everything tightened – really useful. The glass quality is good, great reflective ‘picture’.
Overall, this is great. You get one for either side. Seems to have a good build quality. Recommended for safety and overall Road awareness.

I quite like these mirrors although they are not with out there problems at least for me, dead simple to fit just pop out the bar plugs or if you have grips which cover the end of the bars you will have to cut the end, then just push these in set the angle you want and tighten the the screw with an Allen key, they hold quite solid.
Vision wise they a good once you have the mirror set in the best angle to suit your vision, so what are the negatives? well for me it’s the fact that they lengthen the bars by 20mm a side, not much of a problem when riding on the road or cycleways but I do a lot of forest trails and bridleways and hit my bars on trees and bushes quite a bit and without mirrors fitted my bars hit those width restrictions they put on forest entrances and getting it through now is a bit of a pain as I have to get off and wiggle it through where as before I could just scrape the ends of my bars and get through without getting off, the arms on these feel quite strong and the mirror is quite easy moved if needed.
So that’s the only negative wider bars, of course I could cut 20mm off each end and then technically problem solved I will have to see how it goes, that’s the only reason I have given these four stars five star if width does not effect you.

    Easy To Fi

Exceptionally well made, best quality I have ever seen for such a product and I have always had to have mirrors on my bike as I can’t turn my head far enough! However, they are a major contribution to safety in providing a constant picture of what is going on behind you on the road. Only minor gripe is that they are not meant to be used on either side, but can be rigged as 2 right hand items, ideal for electric bikes though, having sight of both sides at higher speed .
