Sticks to textured dashboard
Bought for my MX-5 NC as it doesn’t have air vents that allow that kind of holder. I was a little dubious based on some reviews but it sticks to the dashboard, which has a slight texture, really well. It’s stayed in place despite some spirited (but entirely legal) cornering. My phone (iPhone 11 is chunky case) seems to be entirely secure and is easy to remove.
Nicely packaged, with clear printed instructions included on how to set-up and use.
The unit itself is well made, with a reassuringly chunky feel to it. As far as the adhesion is concerned, it’s by far the stickiest product I’ve encountered – the suction cup actually feels tacky to the touch. This makes it slightly tricky to position accurately, as once you bring it even slightly close to the windscreen, it latches on and sticks like a limpet. It’s almost as if it’s magnetised and jumps onto the glass before you realise what’s happening. And unfortunately, once it’s attached (and even before you lock it properly in place with the locking lever), it’s really difficult to remove – I had to use a very thin blade to peel it away from the glass. It took me three or four attempts before I had it exactly where I wanted it.
I chose to locate it on the side glass just to the bottom right of the windscreen. Even though it was mounted at an angle, there’s enough free movement in the two joints to enable you to square it up so that your phone is at the correct angle. There’s also the ability to move the phone forward and backwards a little – not much, but enough to make a difference.
I’ve no idea if this would stick well to plastic – my dashboard has a dimpled plastic surface, so I chose to mount it on the side window glass. What I can say though is that two weeks after installing it, it’s as rigid as it was the day I installed it.
The phone is locked into place by simply squeezing the two side-arms together – they grip well, even if your phone has a case on it. My phone has a fold-over case on it which makes it quite chunky, but this proved not to be a problem for the two arms to grip. There’s also a quick-release button on the back of the unit which releases the two arms quickly so that you can dismount your phone.
It’s also relatively easy to attach a charging cable – there’s a gap in the ledge that your phone sits on so that a cable can connect to the bottom centre without any real issues.
Could it be better? Personally, I would have liked to see more forward/backward movement – there’s about two inches of movement, but it would have been nice to have had just a wee bit more, so that you could pull the phone towards you just a bit more. But this is a minor niggle, really.
Overall, this is a cracking little gadget that’s well-priced, well made and very functional.

I love this product, its very useful for keeping Google maps on my phone whilst driving or for ease of access when I’m pulled over.
It is easy to install, but keep in mind if you install on the windscreen like we tried at first, it is going to be hard to get off. We moved it down, in the middle of the car above the radio on the plastic. It didn’t stick quite as well here (still good though) but the car has curved parts, so may have effected something.
It came off after about 2 weeks, moved it and all you have to do is lift the flap and stick it back down and it will stick again.
Perfect little device with lots of customisation in regards to which direction you want the phone facing (tilt) and how far it comes from the base.
It’s also better than the phone holders which attach to car vents in my opinion as it can’t damage the car.

Bought this to use in hire cars when I need Google maps to navigate. Have used it for 3 different hires now and couldn’t be more satisfied with the value of this purchase.
Well constructed, fully adjustable and works superbly. Was amazed at how securely this holder ‘sticks’ to the curved dashboard yet is easily removable when you need to take it out without leaving a sticky residue.
My tip would be to keep the little plastic cover that goes over the suction cup. When you finish using the holder, the plastic cover protects the ‘sticky’ cup from picking up fluff or accidentally sticking to other things.

This is a good phone holder. I researched a few and didn’t particularly want one that clips in an air vent – had them before and they aren’t that secure and can damage the vent. This is great, you can set it in the exact position that you want your phone to be in and it will stay there. The suction cup is very strong once clipped into place. The arm is pretty movable but the folding down is limited to the size of the arm and the base joint. The phone holder is able to swivel to the position of choice. The side arms can be fully widened by pressing the button at the back and then squeeze them in to securely hold the phone which means it will hold a pretty large
phone. Releasing the phone is easy by pressing the button at the back again. The holder underneath the phone is positioned so that you can still charge your phone/use an aux cable while it’s in the holder. The base itself does not swivel but this isn’t a problem because you can get the correct position when first activating the suction cup. Overall very pleased with it and would recommend.

It came flat packed not to difficult to put together, note before putting glue pad on base place phone holder where you want to place to see if it fits there, clean dash board then stick in place, I left mine 24 hrs before use and it holds the phone firm. Jobs a good un.

Aesthetics are important to me and this ticked all my virtual boxes! The packaging was flawless and environmentally friendly. The device itself has many permutations to ensure a snug, vibration-free installation. Initially, I placed this on a curved dashboard (Mazda MX5 Mk1) and it stuck firmly. However, it obscured an air vent so I repositioned it directly above this on the windscreen – perfect! No judder and I have no qualms with the weight of a 700 mobile ending up in my lap – or worse…This is my third cradle & hopefully the last for this car. Brilliantly engineered and relatively inexpensive. Bargain!

I’ve been looking for a phone holder for my Mini Cooper R52. I stuck this on my windscreen and it’s in a perfect place to the right of me.
The only annoying thing is, my iPhone 12 will only fit in it without its phone case (that might also be because I have a bulky phone case).
All in all does what it’s supposed to do, is solid and doesn’t move whilst I’m driving which is what I needed.
I don’t have a flat surface on my dash for this to sit on so I have placed in on the windscreen. Only issue I have is the phone weighs down the phone holder part of this meaning the extended arm doesn’t stay in place. However the suction cup is perfect on the windscreen and it holds my phone in place so can’t ask for much more than that.

I decided to purchase a new phone holder for my car as I had just recently broken my old one. I wanted to give this one a chance since it looked cool and after a few uses, I noticed some things.
First of all the suction so far hasn’t changed, it remains to be well stuck to my windshield and shows no sign of going anywhere.
The arm can be quite stiff at times but it’s not necessarily a bad thing since it means it shouldn’t move around too much from bumpy roads and such.
The part that holds the phone (which I refer to as the hand) does it’s job, it could be better at stabilising the phone (iPhone 11) but it manages to keep it in place with some minor gaps to allow movement.
The part that connects the “hand” to the arm (will refer to as the wrist) can get loose sometimes even after tightening previously, an example would be hitting a sudden bump, the wrist would loosen slightly, dropping the hand down which could lead to the phone falling out if not tightened enough, luckily has not happened to me yet.
All in all, a decent phone holder for the money. Does its job fairly adequately with some minor flaws.

I have this phone holder on the dash in my car, and the dash itself is not smooth, but the suction cup stuck to it first time when installing it and has not fallen off once. It fits my phone samsung galaxy s22 ultra perfectly, the swivel function is great, and the adjustments you can make to the arms are brilliant.

The holder is very adjustable and I can fit my phone in its fold-over case. I have used similar holders before and the problem is always that they come unstuck. This one has quite a sticky pad and a small lever to make it stick better. I am pleased with the price but have yet to try it on a long and bumpy journey.

Firstly, let me say that this is a brilliant product. It is affordable and attached to the windscreen without a problem. When attached to the windscreen, it is very sturdy and provides me with a stable viewing angle. It also doesn’t obstruct my vision when driving. Inserting the phone in the cradle and releasing it is easy and intuitive.
I would have given this item five stars because I intended to attach it to the dashboard, but I couldn’t get enough traction. However, attaching it to the windscreen was actually the better option in the end. Perhaps, the seller shouldn’t advertise it as being able to attach to the dashboard so we are not misled.
I have had several mounts over the years and this is by far the best one I have ever used. Just make sure you’re happy with attaching it to the windscreen and not the dashboard.
Sturdy, relatively stable, very pleased!
Seems to be a great phone holder so far. Have purchased a couple in service stations but they’ve been flimsy and did not last long. This one seems to be good quality and the phone stays put. I mounted it in the centre part of the dashboard which isn’t strictly non-porous and it sticks fine. The choice of angles and orientation is excellent and it’s also great value for money. I would highly recommend this phone holder.
Driving Florida
I use my phone as a satnav in Florida to reduce hire car costs. This unit held my phone in place for two weeks, never had to to reset it, never moved. Nice and easy to place the phone in and to take out when leaving the car. Very pleased with it.

Works when you find the right spo
Doesn’t stick to the dash, takes up too much viewing space on the window so had to close the multimedia unit to stick it to that. Once it likes the surface, it sticks well.

Very versatile so positioning is extremely good for all makes and model of car. With my car though (Ford Fusion) top of the dashboard was not possible. But windscreen fixing was simple and very effective.
