Works well and seems built with appropriate strength. Comes with essentially no instruction at all, which is more or less expected based on cost and country of origin. Usage seems rather straightforward, HOWEVER there is one major thing to look out for.

The anchor is kind of goofy and can slip underneath the door cut, especially if it’s taller than 1/2″. On my first Nordic curl attempt, going from up to down, I thought I had secured everything correctly. When I was nearing getting to the end of my curl (in a very vulnerable position with hands behind back and learning forwards while declining) the anchor slipped out of position and my weight pulled it through the door. I SMASHED my face off the ground (learn from me: place pillows or something in front of you). My chin split open and my teeth hurt. This was partly due to my own negligence but also wouldn’t hurt for the manufacturer to give a few tips on setup. Turns out, if you spin the anchor 90 degrees so it’s TALL relative to the door rather than WIDE, it anchors much better. Since doing this, I haven’t had an issue. See my photos for reference. The strap ends up with a twist.

It’s annoying to set up because the strap is difficult to reach while you’re trying to get yourself in the awkward position of the Nordic with the device on top of your ankles and trying to maintain tension so the anchor doesn’t slip out. Compared to the ATG Nordic bar that you can pull a strap while in position, this one you have to roughly get it right, dismount, adjust, try again, and keep doing that until you get the adjustment just right. You can’t have any extra slack or it runs the risk of slipping out of position. Too tight, and you can’t get your feet under. Definitely takes some practice. Having said that, the straps and cam buckles seem well built and held my weight (80kg / 165 pounds) easily.

Between the time I ordered this and it arriving, I may have got a little overzealous with watching Nordic curl videos on YouTube. I really wanted to know if I was capable of doing one or not (or how close I could get). Turns out they’re insanely challenging but I will have fun progressing towards a full decline and incline of Nordic (or whatever the terminology is, eccentric and something else). If I had been more patient with the setup, I could have avoided busting my face open. Please learn from my mistake. I still recommend this device. Check YouTube for videos of people using similar devices to see the best way for you to be set up.

    Use With CAUTION!

This is a good way to try a variation of exercises just by attaching it to your door.

It is strong and can hold a person’s weight well but I think it can get some getting used to and adjustments to figure out use for it especially with something like the Nordic curls.

However, it does provide good versatility of trying out various exercises. It is very lightweight which makes it very portable and easy to use wherever you go. Definitely helpful for a variety of exercises, I find it useful to use along with other exercise equipment I have to create a portable home gym setup.

This is a good quality hamstring curl strap. It’s easily adjustable and it has a bit of weight to it. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy for me to use it under all my doors, but it does fit well under most of them. I got it to work on my core strength, and it’s easy to use for this.

The CRAZYROPE Nordic hamstring curl strap is great. It’s essentially a portable sit up assistance tool. It’s designed for assistance with Nordic curls and Spanish squats. You can also use it for an amazing ab workout too.

The bar is quite sturdy and works exactly as designed. It’s really easy to set up. You just slide it under the door and put your feet under the bar. It also comes with a carrying case to for easy transport.

It’s a great addition to any home gym or for anyone who struggles keeping their feet in place when doing sit ups. I’d be happy to recommend.

Good Quality & Easy To Use at Home

I ordered this sit-up device as another item for my daughter’s boyfriend, who spends lots of time in the gym training for power lifting competitions. Whilst I doubt this will stop him still spending a lot of time in the gym, this will be useful when he isn’t able to get there or, as recently, when he has a wrist injury but still wants to train in some way. At the time of review, this is listed as ‘Currently Unavailable’ but another reviewer commented that it was retailing at 16.99. That makes this reasonable VFM, albeit slightly more expensive than another similar item which is available.

This is a very well made and durable sit up assistant. It is very sturdy and can be adjusted according to your designed length. Very compact which is one thing I like about it, you can easily put it away afterwards or carry with you as it comes with a pouch as well. I believe this is very good value for money so I highly recommend.

For the low price this is quite a good curl strap with an adjustable strap which you attach under the door. It actually works really well for what it is and enables you to have a good workout at home. It also came with its own bag to store it away after use.

I was definitely sceptical about how well this would work out. It is very compact and easy to carry around with you while travelling. It is relatively easy to set up and I have been recovering from an achilles injury and was able to do the exercises comfortably. I did have to be careful with the nordic curls but as long as you take it easy it helps with recovery.

    CrazyRope Nordic Hamstring Curl Strap
    ================================
Nice compact curl strap. Well made and can change the length of the strap. One end fits under the door and you use it from the other side. I found the strap does tend to slide a bit when you initially adjust the length – until you start the workout at which point once it stops moving it’s good to go. It’s a bit long for normal crunches – trying to shorten the strap it pulls the strap long again – but as long as you have plenty of space away from the door you should be fine though. You also get a cheap and cheerful pouch/bag to put it away after use. Currently selling for 16.99

    Great curl strap

Impressed with this exercise kit. I wanted something to allow me to workout from home and this fits the bill.

You get the rectangular side that goes on the other side of your room door and the foam side behind your legs. A small card is included with some example photos of exercises but no further advice on how to do them unfortunately.

I really like the quality of this! I’m quite heavy and it withstood my weight well. No complaints whatsoever. Actually I plan to tie my resistance bands do this also so I can get some different exercises done so I think this thing is really versatile. Well worth the money, I’ve not seen anything like this before!

    Sturdy and comfy to use

This is a nicely presented, useful tool for various workouts. Exercising isn’t possible everywhere, so this allows for some extra flexibility. It’s light and the box makes it portable/good for exercising when travelling.

    Useful

Easy to set up and rather tough too. I’ve had no issues with this so far and it’s super easy to set up, you just need to slip it under a door and adjust as necessary.
Would recommend for people getting into home workouts without having to worry about going to the gym.
