There are many battery packs for the Oculus Quest 2 out there and this is the best design! The battery pack on the back helps offset the weight on the front of the headset. The digital display is a unique feature that I haven’t seen anywhere else and keeps the battery level in check so you don’t have to guess what “two bars” means. This is the battery pack I choose first!

Theses headsets are a must have for anyone with an oculus as it gives you hours more play time and they sit the headset on your head so that it is very comfy for extended use.
This is a definite addon required if you have a family that has 3 or more people competing repetitively. It worked at first with the main headset staying fully charged. But after a week it now charges on a constant of 90% +. It is still doing its job, but just wanted to write that to save people hours looking for potential settings your child might of changed, and hasn’t because them settings doesn’t exist lol
The strap is far more comfortable than the original supplied.
Only thing I would ask is for the designers to place a line under the numbers to show their true charge. This would save countless, stressful repetitive telling your child its only 16% charged not 91%.
I have already managed to sell it to the guests who turn up after they see the advantages of haveing that backup charge pack. NO I DO NOT WORK FOR THE COMPANY.
I ordered this for my Occulus Quest 2, and it has improved the battery life. If you game for more than 4 hours then you may lose the charge. Sometimes it works for 5 hours, but for active games it can keep a charge for around 3 hours. I do like having the extra battery, but it does make the oculus a little bulky and uncomfortable compared to without it. If the battery is more important to you then I would recommend this for the ease of not having to take a break to charge. Otherwise I could do without it.

This increased his playing time by HOURS AND HOURS. He can play all day if I let him lol. This battery is awesome and he says the headset is nice and comfortable with it. He says it’s actually more comfortable than the original head strap. The weight is evenly distributed now versus it all going toward the front. Very easy to install and use. Increases play time by a good six hours. Awesome battery for the price point! Highly recommend!
Had to borrow that phrase because it definitely describes it I end up replacing almost my entire rig with this because the battery is perfect lasts a long time easy to read indicator on the back comes with all the cords and stuff you’re going to need to get it hooked up snaps right into place on both side pieces where the speakers are without interfering with the speakers and the leather replacement face piece as well as the strap having leather padding and then the back having leather cushioning is so comfortable I can go hours now worse before it kept either trying to roll forward and push down on the bridge of my nose or just driving me crazy I added a fan to this mess and I’m done my rig is perfect I couldn’t ask for anything better so if I got a strap again I would want this strap
The battery life is advertised I can go at least a couple extra hours on that minimum but I also power the fan with it or recharge the fan while I’ve got it plugged up or running off the battery internally I mean there’s so many different combinations it’s not even funny it would be nice if I had kind of a splitter thing though be able to hook it all together not only the Quest 2 but also the fan that uses a c port and I’m having a hard time locating cables that will do that and transfer the power not just the data cuz you really don’t need the data as far as power goes but very quiet very smooth very comfortable.
The whole time i’ve owned an oculus it felt like it was weighing down my face, this acts as a nice counterbalance. The battery life was always too short if you want to feel immersed in a great game and now it has roughly an extra 2 hours. The padding on the top strap included is really nice too, it helps to reduce the strain and pain of longer plays.
The extended game play has completely changed how we use our Quest 2. It’s so comfortable with the extra padded strap. The numeric indicator is awesome for gauging how much time we have left and in all honesty, the added weight on the back balances how the whole rig hangs on your head and neck.
Play time is comfortably doubled. Well worth the price!!!
This headset is well made, durable, and has a long battery life. This is comfortable to wear and looks great also. I recommend this for anyone to get rid of the original Head strap and upgrade to a better one.

I also have a 6000 mAh battery pack that I’ve used with my MQ2, and it only powers my device for approximately 4 hours. So I really like the added time this one gives me. It is a bit heavier than the other battery pack, but I suppose it has to be because the battery is bigger.

This battery pack is amazing. One of the first that I have found that really holds up. There was a time when I wouldn’t play certain games in fear of having to charge the visor in mid play. Now with this I play more and I play longer without the fear of having to lose progress due to charging issues.
Easy to attach. Fits well. Great battery life and stays on head. Son says it’s very comfortable. Way better than the default that comes with the oculus. We recommend!

The biggest gripe I had was the straps were extremely hard to put and take off. I understand it needs to be a tight fit, but I thought I was almost going to break something trying to take them back off.
The DESTEK Elite Head Strap with 8000mAh Battery Pack is very easy to install on the Oculus Quest 2. It packs lots of storage power for prolonged usage of the Oculus 2. The only drawback is that it uses the pull strap mechanism for adjusting the length of the headset. I believe the dial knob type mechanism is much easier. Well worth the money if you are looking for an external battery pack for extended game plays.
It is fairly comfortable but would suggest only if you have a smaller head because the fit is very snug on the sides.. The battery pack i first had was faulty and didnt last 2 cycles but customer support was super fast and great and the new one works perfectly still not sure its 5hrs more of an extra 3-4hrs

This DESTEK Elite Head Strap With Battery Pack product was something that I thought was genius.
My Oculus has an uptime of about two hours. Sometimes you just need a little extra time. What is nice about this product it that it gives you that. It tripled my uptime and is extremely comfortable. The head strap slips in to position just like the original. But it has nice soft cushion backing and an elastic adjustable head band.
The upper head strap has nice padding for the top of the head. The battery compartment is locating at the back of the gear. The very back of the headset is a small LED display that shows the remaining charge on the battery. The power button is just under the display. The TYPE-C USB charging port is just under that on the underside of the headgear. the back which you place the included batteries in.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, I got this to replace a very similar after market head strap but it did not have the additional battery pack integrated in it. This just makes it so much nicer to use. Especially if there are multiple users. I was not expecting too much and have been very pleasantly surprised with this affordable battery pack and head strap combo. I would highly recommend this product. Hope this information was helpful. I bought this product the first day it was available online without customer’s reviews. At first, I thought it was a risk since no one has bought it yet OR reviewed it.
I WANT TO SAY I am most happy about this product at the MOMENT. This is exactly want I wanted. The strap doesn’t hurt the ears compare to others with a hard plastic. YES it gives you about 7 hours of play when Quest is fully charged and it’s comfortable and balanced. I prefer to use my Quest 2 charger to charge it which makes it charge fast.
It’s a good buy. Although I will definitely come back here for updates after using it for some time.
If your looking for a battery than you can buy off amazon that can be shipped this is a great choice.

Very comfortable and charges quick. Makes it easier for 2 kids to share one as the battery life usually outlasts them!
