Q1: What is the difference between the Top Strap placed on the forehead and the top of the head?
A1: When the Top Strap is on your forehead, it can transfer pressure to your forehead, more suitable for watching movies; when it is on the top of your head, with three points of support, it is more stable for games.
Q2: Does using the headphone of QH1/2 head strap affect the use of the microphone?
A2: No, when plugged the headphone of QH1/2 into Quest 2, the Quest 2’s built-in microphone will work fine and the headphone will not have audio latency.
Q3: Why do the Side Straps look thin?
A3: The Side Straps are made of POM polymer, which can be folded 180°, so you don’t have to worry about their breakage when using.
2. How to stop light leaks from the bottom?
Before wearing Quest 2
1). Adjust the angle of your Quest 2 by the side straps, so that the strap level is aligned with the lens level of Quest 2.
After wearing Quest 2
1). Adjust the top fit wheel of QH1/2 so you’re comfortably watching your headset without strengthening it too tight.
2). Then adjust the rear fit wheel to lock QH1/QH2 on your head.

My daughter loves the headset because of the battery life it adds so she can play gorilla tag for hours yay for me but she really loves how she can adjust it to fit her head more snugly.

This strap has a battery to extend play time and retractable ear buds that sound great. This unit has made my VR experience very comfortable. Before I would get headaches and have pressure areas where the mask would push into my face. With all the adjustment on this strap I can create the perfect fit with no pressure issues. If you are in VR quite a bit then get this headgear!
This is super comfortable. I ordered a few brands to compare them. It fits my head and my spouse’s head (who’s is much bigger than mine) and we both can barely feel it on our face. I was getting headaches with other straps I tried. I’ve been using this while doing workout games and other than slight slippage when I’m sweating a lot, it doesn’t jostle around which is great.
Also the customer services is great – I had an issue with my first order and they helped me right away. Definitely recommend!
I wish I found this before I bought others! I bought two others that were good but this set up beats them all by a far margin. Like it says ” it is like not wearing anything ” this makes it bearable to play this game system. I had a very hard time with comfort before now I look forward to FreeTime when I get to play. Buy it you won’t regret it.And I never write review so that’s saying something.

My undereyes start to ache a little with the weight of the quest and this has helped so much and I can play for hours longer.
The headphones are so useful, I hate being surrounded my wires all around me so this makes gameplay free so much immersive.

Much more comfortable than the original one which I found was dead uncomfortable after around 30 minutes use. This one I don’t have any issues with and the face pressure is non existent so a definite upgrade on older model. The headphones are excellent , great sound quality. At the time of writing review this was 49.99 which I feel I’d be happy paying for it but I have just noticed it on sale here at 34.99 so for that price you won’t find much better. Well made and doesn’t seem like cheap plastic materials that have been flung together. I definitely recommend this
The headset makes using the Oculus even more enjoyable. It’s super comfortable and well made. I especially like the range of adjustability, making it suitable for most users. The build-in earbuds deliver a decent sound experience too.
Far more comfortable than the generic fabric strap.
Headphones are an escsllent accessory & are optional. Just plug it into the headphone Jack on your oculus if wanting to use them. The are on a spring coil so easily hide away when not in use.
Quality seems good & the tightening and loosening of the headset works well.
If you’ve been using your Oculus 2 with a plain head strap (or even without any additional strap support) and no headphones, let me tell you – it’s a hugely more immersive experience with head support plus earbuds, and this strap makes it really easy to power up your VR experience.
Installation is as simple as clicking your oculus into place as with similar units. The double screw adjustment system here is a step up from other plastic case-style straps I’ve tried, which generally only have one adjustable axis. Here, you can gently tighten both the back and the top to get a snug, not-too-tight fit. I’m a pretty large guy and it fits my head without any issue (with further adjustment room to boot). With a bit of patience, you can get a lovely snug fit that prevents any light leaks at all, maxing that immersion.
All in all it’s a game changer if you’re used to the plain, unextended Oculus 2 experience. Even the sound quality of the buds is pretty good. A really great (I’d say almost essential) addition to your VR kit, both well-designed and well-made.
This DESTEK head strap has built-in earbuds that are actually a bit different from others I’ve tried.
The head strap is made of POM polymer which can be folded 180. It has a 0.79inch memory foam pad, and comes with PU leather. Plus, it has retractable functionality that works by one press. The package contains double knob headphones, which is compatible with Meta/Oculus Quest 2, three pairs of silicone headphone tips that come in different sizes, and a user manual.
I handed it to my son for him to try it out. He said that this strap is better than regular straps in terms of comfort and ease of adjustment. The head strap itself is pressure-relieving and pleasant, and it has good flexibility, thanks to the lever on the top or back. Meanwhile, the ear buds are not only secure in the ear but also feel comfortable to wear. I particularly like the button on the rear which allows me to retract them easily. I also like the sound quality which is fairly good.

This headstrap is a massive upgrade from the standard strap supplied with the Quest 2. It fits the headset perfectly and is easy to install. Once in place there is a good range of adjustment to ensure a good fit. In use, it stays securely in place and feels way more comfortable, as the weight distribution is more evenly spread across your head. The convenient, retractable earphones work well, with a reasonable sound for basic earbuds, if you’re an audiophile you won’t be impressed with their sound but for quick convenience, without having to carry another accessory, they do the job.
The strap does make the overall headset quite a lot more bulky than standard, so you may have trouble fitting your quest into the smaller cases out there with this straps in place.

Destek QH1 has nice and comfy padding. This does exactly what you need it to, and its also padded, its easy to set up and use and the price isn’t that bad either, so it’s a winner from me. I also like that if you are buying it as a present it comes in a lovely box already.
This headband really helps to get the Quest 2 to sit better on your head. The top pad and back pad are really comfortable and use adaptive foam cushions, basically similar to memory foam.
The two tightening mechanisms are really easy to use. You can get this really tight on to your head so the Quest 2 hardly moves, which is what I prefer. You can also have it lose on your head if that’s what you prefer, it’s good that you have a choice.
The retractable earbuds are a great idea. The sound is OK and with them being earbuds, it helps to block outside noise a bit, which helps for a more immersive VR experience. It’s really cool how they retract back into the rear of the headband to keep them tidy.
Definitely a recommendation and way better than the supplied head strap.
A good addition for the Quest 2. Easy to attach, comfortable to wear and good sound quality. Adjustments mean that the fit is snug and there is no movement whilst using.
Very impressed with this set. Firstly with the packaging as it’s superb and secondly with the head strap itself you get a nice colourful and very easy to follow instruction manual which is impressive on its own, but then the head strap is phenomenal. In my opinion I love how adjustable it is, and how easy it is to adjust to make it comfortable on your head. You can lengthen it, you can narrow it. This QH1 Oculus Quest 2 headstrap is fantastic. Build quality is great and installation takes no more than a minute or two. The built-in earbuds are great, you don’t realise what an improvement proper audio can make to games like Beat Saber until you try it. The default audio on the Quest feels fine initially, it’s only when you try with proper earbuds that you realise what you’ve been missing. My favourite part about this whole strap is the fact that the top section also has a knob for adjustments. I have a KIWI strap and every time me and my girlfriend swap we have to undo the velcro at the top to re-fit it to our heads. With this we can just adjust the knob! Genius, love it.
Very good strap and set which is more comfortable and more stable when gaming than the original strap. Fastens easy onto my head and the ear buds are pretty comfortable too. The sound quality on the buds is pretty good and I have no complaints with either. It’s well made and feels sturdy which is a bonus. Good headset that seems to be good value for money. Very happy with this.
My daughter has tried several head straps and this is one of better ones the strap arrives in branded box so make nice gift.She says this is much better than standard strap and is comfortable to wear and simple to adjust.The built in earphones are nice extra and she says have reasonable sound quality.Overall nice quality and comfortable but listed price a little expensive though does currently have 30% voucher which makes much more reasonably priced and takes up to 5 stars
This is a great product and is good as a backup. It comes in a nice box and is easy to use.

I have had my Quest 2 since launch and hated the headstrap it came with. So I took to my 3D printer and 3D printed an adapter so I could use my HTC Vive Deluxe Audio Strap that was on my other VR headset. This worked great until the 3D printed parts started to wear down. Was going to print replacements but then we found this little gem on sale and decided to try it.
Man I did not realize how much weight the DAS added to my headset. The moment I put the Quest 2 on my head there was a huge change in comfort. So much lighter (for me). The adjustment wheels on the back and top are way easy to use. They also allow you to crank the weight off of your cheeks which helps for long play sessions.
Really pleased with this head strap for the Oculus – it’s very comfortable to wear, easy to set up and the built in head phones are excellent. Definitely recommend!
The strap fits much better than the strap that comes with the headset. Nice padding, able to adjust to be very snug so the headset doesnt move around when playing.

A great improvement over the standard strap and single adjustable strap. The padding is soft and comfortable while keeping the headset secure. There’s not much movement when playing fast and active games for the headset which is great. The best part is that the front strap stop’s the headset from pressing against your forehead meaning no red pressure marks which is a huge improvement over the original design also there is 1 Negative about the headset it does not fit in the original Quest 2 case which is a pity but overall I would definitely recommend a thumbs up from me

It is confortable to wear the the sound is good. I ordered this item for my son and he is happily using it. The battery last between 90-110 min.
The price is affordable, so I recommended it.
This is a good investment if you spend long periods immersed in your virtual worlds. It provides much better support so that there is very little pressure on your face. There doesn’t appear to be any legacy issues with the ear buds and I love how they just snap away when not needed. Not cheap but worth it for regular players.
A huge upgrade from the base strap that comes with the quest.
Lots of adjustability and incredibly comfortable. There’s a nice amount of padding on the back and the top strap too. Each can be adjusted with a satisfying clicky dial on the back of each.
The included headphones, while not the best sounding are incredibly convenient and also slip back into the headset at the press of a button on the back of the strap.
I would love to see a strap like this but with a battery pack included as well to extend the hours you can get playing.
As it stands though, still a great upgrade! 5*
