This is compromised of 2 components.
The sensor with a 6 foot.long cable and the end is a Bluetooth transmitter.
inside the house as a Bluetooth, the Wi-Fi converter. This converter also provides temperature and humidity levels.
The iPhone application is pretty simple but it does what it needs to do. It shows instantaneous temperature as well as temperature overtime.

I have had this in our pool for 12 months now and it still works perfectly. I have it synced to an Ecowitt weather station with an LCD. While it does not show on the LCD main screen unless you go into settings, I can check the pool temp on my phone using Home Assistant. HA even logs the temp.

I use this to monitor and alert me if the freezer in my garage starts getting warm and it has been working really great for almost two years now. Compatible with Home Assistant as well.

I added this to my weather station gateway because I wanted to monitor my pool and hot tub temperatures. I just installed an AA battery, attached the mounting bracket to the deck rail, attached the unit and dropped the sensor down to the bottom. Unlike other devices, it has an LED readout of the temperature so you don’t even need to have a gateway device unless, like me, you want to monitor it remotely.

I have 2 of these linked to the base unit which is linked to the WiFi. I monitor pool temp with one, and select trees that need frost protection. The app allows them to have independent alarm settings that send phone and email notifications. I can check the sensors from my phone or computer.
This probe has a display on the battery box/transmitter so it can be used independent of the other electronics. I bought this as a system and find the components work well together. The components
‘Talk’ to each other at a range of well over 150 ft.

I have supplemented my ECOWITT weather station with this pool water temperature sensor.
It connected as soon as I put batteries in.
But the signal does not reach very far.
    Otherwise all good

Does the job, simple to mount, easy to integrate with my weather station (although it wanted to be channel 1 so I had to move my other sensor from channel 1 to 2 as that had a manual adjustment).

I have two stations, a Davis and an Ecowitt. The Ecowitt is more for fun, but it still provides some good data for other aspects of measurements.

I bought this so that I could monitor my Koi pond temperature. I have the data feeding to my website in real-time, so I can monitor it at any time and any location.

It may seem a novelty, but I find it very handy!

I like the way it is put together, too. It screws in to a mounting bracket, so as long as the bracket is secure, the sensor won’t go anywhere. Very happy!

If you want a wireless thermometer for a pond or aquarium this is perfect if you have the Wi-Fi Weather Station Sensor Gateway. I already had the Gateway for Ecowitt moisture sensors which I use for my indoor and outdoor plants. The thermometer is very accurate. Almost bought a Aquascape Wireless Thermometer but found this one for less than half the price of the Aquascape.

Easy install. It seems to be reading higher than actual temperature by a couple of degrees and there doesn’t appear to be a means of adjusting the calibration. Robust and good mounting fitting.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAfter going through 6 or more floating bluetooth hot tub thermometers that constantly needed resetting or replacing, I sought a WiFi solution that would be more permanent. After 4 months this Thermometer paired with the GW1100 Wi-Fi gateway (required and on amazon) have been a great solution.. Setup is a little clunky but if you follow the instructions carefully and have some patience it’s set and forget and has a constant signal anywhere you are connected to your wifi network. I screwed the thermostat relay into the side of the Hot Tube housing, but the sensor wire is long enough you could probably connect somewhere else. I have the sensor in the filter compartment so it won’t be in the way and the readings are accurate. You can set alerts as well which is useful for the Hot tub overheating or if below freezing…
It would be nice if the temp on the relay was easier to read/larger/lit, but you just open the app to quickly get the temp.
