Having bought this for our camper van it has proved useful for applications where 2kW are needed, for example a Nespresso machine and decent hair dryer.
The power unit and the solar panels are very robust but also very heavy. The solar panels require summer sun to be really effective otherwise charging is very slow.
We have run an oil filled radiator and one of those heavily advertised plug in mini heaters and both are excellent in the van especially at night when we dot like to use the noisy diesel heater in the van.
