I like the fact I can switch it off if I need to and I liked the usb ports separated. My only issue is everytime I’ve tried to charge my phone it’s come up with slow charge time 10hrs!!! Tried it with a plug and got same so not sure if the voltage isn’t high enough to sufficiently charge my phone bu

I got this for the lounge beside my sofa

I purchased the lead for my son’s room. The lead is long enough for him to charge his phone and use it for his PlayStation.
I like that it has the power button on there to turn off without going to the wall socket.
Also very good quality….definitely worth the money.

My daughter is at that age where she needs multiple charging points.
After a bit of research this came up top and tbf is a great extension lead with the added bonus of the separate USB ports. Can’t fault it plus it’s 3m long

A very handy extension, enough sockets and outputs to enhance any socket. Works fine.

The Mscien extension lead with USB slots is ideal for charging a wide range of devices and electrical appliances. I like the compact design and layout. It has a simple on/off switch in the middle and an LED status light. I wasn’t sure what the red slot next to the power switch was for at first, but it’s for overload protection. The four sockets on top are evenly spaced, and the three USB A ports, including a USB C port, are grouped together on the side. The majority of my devices use USB A, so the three ports are useful; my newer devices use USB C and are compatible with this lead. Because it has two key slots on the back, the unit can be wall mounted. It also has anti-slip pads on the bottom to keep it from sliding around. Overall, it works well, can charge multiple devices and electrical appliances at the same time, the cable is a good length, and it has a USB C port, which is a plus for me. It’s a little difficult to get the plugs in, and it takes a little pushing to get it all the way in.

    Neat extension lead

This has a thick 3m long lead and it’s a good compact size. It remains cool even when utilising all four 3-pin charging sockets. It does warm up when using the USB ports, but no more than expected. I do like the small blue LED light which reminds me if it’s still on when I switch off the living room lights at bedtime.

This is a handy little extension lead. Perfect for use around the home. My daughter has it in her room to charge her devices and as extra socket space. Looks excellent quality.

Really like this 2×2 form factor as opposed to the 4×1 style that is most common. Not sure about the quality of this one as the plastics feel quite hollow and the on/off switch is a little springy feeling but it does the job. Also it seems to be quite difficult to get a plug in, as it binds up a little bit towards the end of the plug and you really have to put some force on the plug to get it to slot in all the way.

It is a fused extension cord and honestly I’d recommend you don’t use one that isn’t.

The non slip feet on the bottom are really good and it really stays in place.

The one issue I did have is that the USB-C port on my unit just does not deliver any power, likely just a manufacturing slip up but still slightly annoying as there is only one of them. Apart from that though it is a pretty decent extension cord.

This is a great, compact extension lead with a nice long lead of 3 metres…. used it at a gig last weekend as i have foot pedals / monitors / lights etc to power but i also have a few usb driven devices and this extension lead has usb ports.
it has a power on button smack in the centre which lights up when pressed on.

The only downside i can see to this is the plug orientation….. if you have one of those power adapters that encroach over the socket above it then its no longer a 4 way …. this is a minor point for me as i no longer have this situation but others may have so worth mentioning.

perfect power lead to throw into my gigging case.

Nice little extension with added USB, so theoretically 8 devices at once, but wouldn’t try that.
It’s square hence you can have you plugs in either inward/outward ( as the sockets are mirrored, 2 in/out ), but the USBs could have been better to be on top for easy access?
The built quality is good, rounded, and fire resistant.
There is only one on/off on the top with a small tiny red overload switch, like a tripped fuse switch.
Perhaps add one or few more individually switch, no unplugging when not in use.
Good price at only 15 with voucher.

The MSCIEN extension lead is a great way to connect and charge your devices and power your device, I’ve been using this extension lead this past fortnight to charge my phones and tablet, and a lamp, it’s working perfectly. I wouldn’t feel confident powering my PC with this due to it not having built-in surge protection, I learned the hard way in the past when a surge fried my GPU so it’s really important it has this feature if you want to use it with a PC. I really like that you can plug in your USB devices as this saves space without having to plug in extra USB adapters, this is only rated 10 amps so be sure not to use any power-hungry appliances on this. Another thing is mine gives off a very high-pitched noise which if too close to it you can hear it so can’t use it in the bedroom sadly.

I had one of these to use in a hotel to charge my wheelchair but it wasn’t as good as this. This one feels better quality and not only has four 4 pin sockets but also four usb ports too. The cord is braided and long enough to stretch across any hotel room.
It’s compact and fits in my wheelchair bag easily. I’ve got no complaints about this at all.

    Great extension for hotels

This is perfect for saving space if you’re like me and have most things connected up to it. This sits nicely on my desk and I’m able to fit everything I need to it. The massive bonus is that it comes with 4 USB outlets so I can also charge my phone from it.

Good quality extension lead. Chunky moulded plug and decent cord length. Has three standard USB outlets and one USB-C with a total of 2.4 A available across them all.
One central on/off switch to kill power to the outlets. Note that this kills power to the USB’s as well, most other sockets of this type it doesn’t. I think this is a big plus but it may be a drawback depending how you want to use i

Well made extension with USB-C charging po

This is a really useful extension.
The useful bits about this extension
    – 3m cable length
    – 4 plug sockets
    – 3 USB-A and 1 USB-C sockets
    – On/Off Button for the unit
    – Screw mount points

I use this extension to as a replacement for on of my charger points, no longer do I have to worry about another charger this is all built in. One point to make is that this does not have QC or anything like that, so you really only will use this for charge overnight or items that do not use a fast charge.

The 3m length is extremely useful, that 1m more than the standard 2m extension, is one of the reasons I am so happy with this extension.

One small down is that while many plugs and extensions are rated to 13A, it is only rated to 10A, so if you have a 3kw kettle or something similar this is not the extension for you. But if you running items in your lounge off this then you have no worries.

As it is, it is an extension cable with USB, and its square not long.

    Very handy extensio

would be a 5/5 if it was easier to put in and pull out the mains power cords, cable is long and should be suitable for most. i like how there is a power button on the cord

I mean it’s just a extension plug but a really well thought bout one. Doesn’t make a whining sound which is really good.

Have the usb ports and usbc on the side is really handy too and it’s seems to charge the phone really fast too. Good long cable!

I have a lot of peripherals lugged into this and its working excellently!.

We have a air purfier, a floor fan, a tv, and either a hoover, or some other device during the day will be used with the socket left over, all the other 3 items are plugged in continuously.

We also are using the usb to charge phones, and or power usb light strips, the charge is quick and no overheating, or even a feel of warmth is present in the extension. (i have had many in the past that wil warm up during use), so feel very safe using this one.

Its great that the lead is so long, i usually find extensions with usb slots are expensive if over a metre long, this one is great for the price its a definite bargain.

I would 100% recommend this item.

My use case for this is as a second charge point for the right hand side of my sofa, it is doing a fine job even though it is white and the shelves are black, my bad though!

For a 4 gang extension socket this unit is incredibly compact, add the fact it also has 3 USB-A sockets and 1 USB-C socket makes this a very capable unit. The only negative point I can offer is there is no fast charging capability of the USB sockets and they are 2.4A MAX. So don’t assume PD charging or QC charging are going to work with this.

Initially when I received this product I was not sure what the red slot was above the power switch, this is to do with the overload protection. When an overload occurs, I assume a red piece of plastic pops up and the unit cuts out, to reset you will need to remove the overloading device and push this back down then the unit will start operating again. Be aware that the cut-off for this unit is 10A total.

All in all, I think this will work perfectly, even with its limitations, for what I am using it for.

Nice extension lead with a mix of 3 pin plugs and USB slots

This extension lead is perfect for my office as it can power my PC, printer, lamp etc and I can also charge my phone, speakers and other USB devices.
It’s well made and appears to be really good quality.
It can be wall mounted and has a 3 meter lead which is a good length. I also really like the automatic overload function, which can simply be reset at the push of a button.
Overall, I’m really happy to recommend.

    Multi functional

I was surprised at the size of this when I opened it, has room for 4 plugs so long as those plugs all have their cords going the same way. You would struggle if you had large adaptors that may obscure the other sockets, not as much as an issue in a straight 4-way gang but assume you are aware of that before purchase.

The USB’s are a good addition, they are all on the same side which means placement doesn’t obscure any, if you can get to one you can get to them all. It only has a single USB-C which is still OK given that most extensions I’ve seen recently still only have USB-A. Power output seems sufficient at 2.4A Max and ensures the sockets are free for other things if all you’re doing is charging a phone or something.

There is also a button to turn all the power off to the socket, with the 3M cord this could be useful if you’re mains socket is tucked away in an inaccessible location, saves unplugging all the devices if that was your intention.

This has a nice long 3 metre cable. It has a compact design so it fits neatly away under my desk. It can hold 4 full sized plug which is now enough as I don’t need to use any usb adaptors because it has dedicated usb ports on it so I can charge multiple devices simultaneously like phones and tablets. I also like the addition of the usb c port for fast charging and newer devices. Never seen one on a power block yet so that’s a great feature as my Samsung galaxy phone is usb c. It’s safe to use and has all the protection you expect so fine for computers. There is a master off and on switch. It’s well built and a good price.

This extension lead features a 3M cord, 4 x 3 pin sockets, with a total rating of 2500W, 3 USB A sockets, and a USB C socket. I am pleased to see the addition of the USB C port, as this is often missing from multi fuunction extension leads, and makes this one that much more versatile. There is a built in on/off switch with a red LED on top of the unit, between the 4 3 pin sockets. The cable supplied is an ideal length for me because I can plug in my TV, Bluray player, cable box, and sound system, and run them from just one wall socket. I can also place the extension lead in a position that is easy to get to, and switch off all 4 appliances using the small on/off switch. For the money this lead is very good value, performs well, although the USB A & C charging isn’t particularly fast, and frees up three of my wall sockets for something else. Well worth buying.

This extension lead is perfect for my bedside. The only downside for me is that the plug for my lamp is too big, which doesn’t allow me to use the 4th socket on the lead. Luckily, I have a spare socket on my wall, which will now come in handy for my iPad charger. Having USB slots in this extension lead is perfect for me because now I can charge my Smart Watch, Kindle and other devices all from this extension lead without having to set up another extension lead or charge on my PC. The LED indicator is also great because now I can know for sure whether my extension lead is powered or not.

At the time of writing this review this product is 18.99 which may be on the pricey side for some people.

    Perfect for my bedside
