The shell itself is great. Feels like a good quality replacement for the original shell. In my case, the original shell and the left thumb stick were damaged, so I ended up using all the original buttons and triggers. I’m glad I did, because the replacement buttons were not great. Maybe their special colored replacement buttons they sell separately are, but I don’t know that for sure. The fit is 99% perfect. There is a little wiggle room between the buttons and the shell, but it does not effect playability at all. The only thing that needed to be adjusted was the replacement left thumb stick. It was necessary to put a small scrap of paper into the the bottom hole of the thumb stick before installing in order for it to sit a bit higher. If you do not, the stick sits too low and the rubber catches the suede of the shell, creating an unwanted friction when trying to play games. Overall though, the feel of the controller shell is fantastic. It’s a bit smother than the slightly textured original, but it doesn’t feel slippery. With that being said, the finish of the chameleon option is absolutely amazing. Definitely a looker! Overall I would give it a 10/10 in appearance and a 9/10 in feel.
it works i guess. the sticks are not nearly as grippy as oem. comes with button pads that make the buttons harder to press and feel much more tactile. i only use the start button one. comes with screws and tools. my biggest gripe with this is the sound of sticks hitting the shell. it’s not as satisfying, but it works.
This is a great price point for a custom shell, but the buttons that are included are just okay. The overall paint quality of the shell are pretty good, as is the material. Seller reached out with a replacement when I had issues with fitment. Would recommend not any better aftermarket shells on the market!
The shell is by far the best 3rd party I’ve found passing “chaos” shells in terms of both material quality and fit/finish.
Main differences from OEM
Shell has a soft mat feel to it.
Button cutouts are slightly smaller than oem but fit oem buttons without issue.
Trigger springs are about 1.5-2x the weight of most new oem springs.
ABXY buttons feel lighter and have a slightly cheaper feel to them but fit well.
Rubber button pads feel really mushy aside from the dpad that is actually an improvement over oem.
The sticks are really bad and require a spacer underneath to prevent the rubber cap from rubbing on the gate.
The shell itself feels smooth and even a bit soft which I think is great. The additional parts like springs and pads are a good addition since I was making a new phob controller from scratch. The dimensions are on point unlike other 3rd party shells I’ve purchased in the past, so I will definitely be buying more.

Gray buttons, rumble holder (the back plate of the controller board), transparent button pads which are great, replacement screws (1 extra), replacement springs, and toggles. Essential the entire controller but the board itself is included in this kit.
Cons:
1. Had to sand one of the studs on my A button a bit so that it could slide easy. It would jam a bit when i was trying to install it. (But this is somewhat expected since this is a third party shell with third party buttons)
Overall: I would give this a 4 out 5
Tbh I was kind of expecting the worst when I bought this but, for my purposes, this is some of the best money I’ve spent on my controller. Comes with the shell, every spare part you could need – right down to extra screws and trigger brackets, and even comes with a tri-wing and Phillips head screwdriver. One last thing: the controller shell feels amazing. Some people might find it too slick, but I absolutely love it. It’s hard to get good customization these days so thankyouthankyouthankyou.
P.S. yes, this does fit OEM/Smash4 controllers.
