The fitgrip liquid chalk provides perfect grip whilst performing heavy lifts and it is easily washed off of your hands after finishing working out. Great product for the long work out.

I’ve used similar products for both weightlifting and bouldering and find the actual substance contents to be comparable with what I’ve used before.

The bottle is really neat and the karabiner is a genuinely clever and useful addition, easily allowing it to be affixed to a belt / bag / clothing. Its small capacity means it won’t get in the way and there’s no reason it can’t be refilled multiple times from a larger decanting bottle too if desired. Good job!

I was looking forward to getting a handy 50ml bottle of this with its carabiner to hang it on the gym bag…. great stuff but carabiner missing when it arrived.
Anyhoo, the chalk itself is very good. You only need a small amount; it dries really quick and leaves quite a substantial coating of chalk, and it’s proper grippy too.
    Overall very good grip chalk.

I’m quite keen on trying new bits of kit in the gym. My bag is full of straps, grips, wraps and belts but I’ve, for whatever reason, never tried lifting chalk. I tried this stuff out on deadlifts first then for DB lunges.

For heavy deadlifts (sets of 5) I used this with straps on the working sets. It definitely added to grip security but the strap is still doing most of the work. My grip felt more secure and tight before I’d started the sets during set up. When you get to rep 4 and 5 and the straps have slipped a little it, felt good to have that extra bit of grip tightness on a demanding exercise, which the chalk provided. I was re-applying after every set here so might end up getting through a bottle a bit faster than I would ideally like to.

My walking lunges last around 45 seconds for a set and I’m pretty sweaty by the time I get to these. I’ve always had a problem towards the end of a set of lunges with the dumbbells slipping and needing to adjust my grip. Mid-set this is really distracting. The chalk was really helpful here, towards the end of the sets my grip still felt secure and I didn’t need to adjust my grip as much.

When you apply it, your hands aren’t immediately white. You have to wait about 15 seconds for the alcohol to evaporate. Re-apply as necessary but I noticed that even when the white colour has gone your hands still feel dry which is great.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for heavy sets or long sets.

I recently purchased this fitgrip liquid chalk, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. Whether I’m at the gym lifting weights or rock climbing outdoors, this chalk has proven to be a game-changer for me. The grip it provides is unparalleled, and it dries quickly without leaving a messy residue. I love how a little goes a long way, making the bottle last much longer than traditional chalk blocks. I highly recommend giving this product a try. It has definitely enhanced my workout and climbing sessions!

Aside from being an absolute hassle to open, this is a good chalk item for use in the gym, rock climbing etc. The carabiner clip it comes with is strong to attach to your bag or bottle. The chalk itself dries quickly, and not a lot is needed to get good coverage on your hands. This is a alcohol-based chalk liquid so it’s quite strong in odour, bear that in mind. It smells a bit like handgel, which will be your personal preference. I would suggest the 250ml (12.99) serves as a better value for money than the smaller 50ml bottle (7.99)

I use this for indoor climbing, it’s very easy to apply, you just squirt it on your hand and rub it in and it magically evaporates like hand sanitizer, leaving behind a layer of chalk.
It’s much easier carrying this little clean bottle instead of a big chalk bag.

The carabineer is a good addition to the small bottle since it makes it easier to carry.

    Overall would recommend to climbers

If you are looking for a portable chalk to take with you then this is a great option.

First of all, the benefit over this compared to standard chalk is that this is much cleaner to chuck in your bag and also friendlier in a gym environment. You don’t end up with chalk dust over you, yourself, the equipment or the gym.

This product itself comes in a little bottle that you can store in your pocket, a small section in your bag or even clip to a belt. The bottle itself is strong enough that it won’t break easily, but has enough flex that you can easily squeeze out the chalk.

The chalk itself does its job at absorbing sweat and making it easier to maintain a grip on a bar or rig or anything else.

Very good and well priced for use in the gym. Easy to get the right amount out. Use sparingly, then add more if it’s not enough. Not messy. Good grip. Carabiner is useful too.

Overall really impressed with this liquid chalk, but please see the last paragraph for a caveat.

I got the size with the carabiner, so naturally it became a chalk bag accessory! Sturdy little bottle that is easy to squeeze. Chalk is super grippy but also seems to ball up when it’s rubbed off your hands – possibly because of the rosin. I haven’t had this effect with non-rosin chalks before.

This chalk is especially helpful for trying out new climbs as it doesn’t dry out my skin too much but still provides good friction.

If you’re into climbing, you may know that liquid chalk was used a lot more during and after the COVID pandemic. Rosin was a key component for many liquid chalks because it increases grip, however it also fills in the texture on the holds! Just a disclaimer for this – please use it sparingly. Don’t destroy your gyms holds!

Overall, I do recommend this product, but please use it sparingly. It won’t cause any problems if you’re using it sensibly and not chalking up before every climb.

Handy little tube to pack for wall climbing. Comes on a carabiner clip so you can attach it to you rucksack or your climbing harness for easy access. Clever idea and nice chalk

Ordered this for a friend that does climbing walls and she was very happy with it.
A small blob around the size of a 20p piece covered both hands fully.
The alcohol dried quickly to leave just the chalk residue.
The lemon fragrance is a nice touch.

When she actually climbed a wall she felt that it was very helpful and much better than powdered chalk which gets everywhere during prep and while climbing.

Verdict: A good product at a reasonable price as it goes a long way.

Give it a few seconds to dry and it truly helps in those heavy lifts. Its helped me with much of my weight training specifically with deadlifts and barbell shrugs. I highly recommend this for strength training.

I’ve used a lot of liquid chalks for rock climbing and this one is pretty decent. I use this before I start a climb but use powder chalk whilst climbing as extra if needed in warmer days. This dries quick and stays on quite a while. Definitely needs a shake before using as they all do. Easy to wash off. As I use a lot although the small one is handy it’s way more cost effective to buy the bigger one.

If you struggle with sweaty palms like me, then chalk is the way to go. Fortunately, this chalk is perfect for this sort of scenario.

The chalk is easy to apply; you can easily squeeze the right amount out of the bottle. I would recommend using a pea sized amount for both hands. Its easier to add more than take away!

It smells of alcohol – just like hand sanitizer – but it quickly evaporates leaving your hands feeling dry. I’ve found that you don’t need completely white hands for this to have worked, so it almost looks like you don’t have anything on your hands and stops the transfer to weights and clothing.

Once it has dried, it has a slightly perfumed fragrance to it, replacing the strong alcoholic smell.

Washing it off is easy. Just make sure you have some high quality soap when you do so. I would also recommend getting into the habit of moisturising your hands after you have used this, because just like any other chalk, it can leave them feeling dry.

The only issue I had was with the packaging. Trying to remove the protective seal was more effort than it should have been really. With a pair of scissors and a couple of minutes, I got in. But this was the only frustration I’ve faced with this product so fa

I use this mainly for climbing and weight lifting. Chalk is important to prevent sweat and improve grip but for optimum results I use a combination of liquid chalk and powder. This liquid chalk comes with a karabiner which is very handy for snapping onto a backpack or belt loop if you need to use on the go. The liquid isn’t too runny and dries pretty quick to leave an even layer of chalk on your hand.

This is the first thing I use to layer my hand and prep it for powder top ups on the way. Alcohol isn’t the best for your skin and hands so once per climb or lift is handy. If your gym is particular about chalk then liquid is the best as it is the least messy form of chalk.

The bottle is easily squeezed and it doesn’t shoot out like in some other products I have tried. The clip closure makes this very quick to close after applying so you don’t loose a lot of chalk to the bottle lid. Would recommend!

I think this chalk quality is good, and it lasts about the same as similarly priced alternatives.
The little bottle is handy and easy to squeeze. The chalk dries fairly quickly.
Make sure to use just a tiny bit otherwise, you’d end up with the hand covered in way too much chalk!
At this price it’s a decent deal, I would recommend it to anyone.

This liquid chalk is great – perfect for a non-slip natural feeling grip.
The chalk provides an excellent amount of grip, allowing me to lift heavier weights and push that little bit harder. It hardly leaves any mess, which is an added bonus if using in a gym environment. Love the clip too so it there on my gym bag when I need it.

Chalk does exactly what it says on the bottle, quick drying with heaps of grip for them big lifts!

It’s a small bottle which clips perfectly onto my gym bag for easy access. Will definitely buy again, may also get the larger bottle as it’s better value.

    Love this chalk!
