I used to have a very expensive version of this type of tool, which I lost. I only used it occasionally so I didn’t bother to replace it. As my socket sets are in storage at the moment, I needed something to remove some very stubborn looking satellite dish bolts, so I though I’d chance buying this item. Coupled to my electric driver, it removed the bolts with ease. I have tried it out on a variety of things like cup hooks, which its also done without issue.
The mechanic (purist!) in me dislikes the concept of multi-fit tools and adjustable spanners, but every now and then a tool like this is a real time saver. I once saw a water utilities guy using this same tool on a water valve that just had a triangular shaped adjuster and needed a special key. He said the tool was his go-to tool for all kinds on mis-shaped bolts and taps. So it worked for him and so far, it’s working for me!

Great Stocking Fille
It came quickly. In a neat little box. Only downside it didn’t fit on the tap, we needed it too – the socket itself wasn’t quite deep enough but it does the job on most things.

Good overall quality product, not a go to tool for everything, as you have to apply quite a bit of downwards pressure on the ratchet head for it to work properly.

This is a brilliant little tool and I don’t know how I’ve managed without it for so long. great value for money really well made and sturdy and it came beautifully presented in its own little box with a care leaflet.
You may need to purchase an adapter for a regular sized ratchet. This doesn’t work on overly rounded heads. Nice to add to your tool collection.
Tool for the one who has everything!
Purchased as part of my husbands present, as what do you get a man who has everything tool wise already! Opened it, loved it, used it.
Bought this for my boyfriend as part of his birthday. He seen it advertised one day and said “that wont work” well he’s eating his words because he uses it for everything now. The socket set has been chucked to the back of the cupboard! It’s worth noting that it works on lock bolt on car wheels.
It does its job
Well for my 1st few uses of this simple tool it’s done its job nicely, I’ve not yet tried it on any really difficult nuts/bolts of any varieties as yet.. however I’ll update as time goes by 8.3.2020

l expected the socket to be an actual genuine ” GATOR ” product , however it is not , and is also not a licenced copy , for that reason l marked it down to 4 stars l dont know if the product has any guarantee because that wasnt offered in the parcel l got…l havent used it yet so cant comment on whether it is a good build or not ….

I bought this for no particular job, but with in mind when i need it, it will be very useful. This was the case recently when i was changing an outdoor security light, when taking out the bolts foe the old light, one of the bolts had severe rust and none of the drill bits could get grip on it to remove. I used this to take out the bolt in seconds. This saved me from wasting many hours as i had already rewired the new light and if i could not take out the old bolts would have had to unwire the old light again as i could not leave it anywhere else. That alone had paid for itself.

when using to do something a little more fiddley the spung pins push the socket off of the bolt you are trying to extract. great idea didn’t really save me time though
Space save
So useful,you can carry it in the door pocket in the car. It is almost a full socket set.but don’t expect it to dismantle a rusty old engine it is not strong enough. However it is one of the most useful emergency tools on the market.
A well made adaptor with strong pins that fit a large amount of nut/bolt sizes so instead of a large socket set cluttering up your tool bag this one item can serve the same purpose.I have used this on new and damaged nuts and bolts and it works every time.
All I can say is if you want a “multi socket” adaptor buy one of these and you won’t be disappointed

The universal socket arrived in good time and exactly as expected. Looks/appears good quality (not had a chance to use it yet) and the little blue box it arrives in is a nice smart touch. I can highly recommend to anyone looking for one of these universal socket wrench’s .
Looks like a good quality little tool box go to. The foam insert in the case looks like a storm troopers been shooting it but that’s just more strange than a problem. Tried it briefly seems to hold the bolt head well and secure.
