Bought these after searching for reasonably priced Eartec system for production filming work.
I have zero cons. Seriously, they worked perfectly straight out of the box. Range was excellent, clarity was amazing. I’d like the option to buy additional ‘slave’ units separately – maybe that is possible already?
Basically – I want more! I bought the 3 as it was all I needed, but now that I know they perform so well I would get more to future proof production needs.
My camera assistant even bought a set a week later as he was so impressed.

Super Tonqualitt, Reichweite und die Akkulaufzeit ist Phnomenal auch bei dauernd geffnetem Kanal.
Alles dabei was man bentigt. Habe lange berlegt, zwischen dem Solidcom C1 und dem Eartec ultralite, da sich beide in der selben Preisklasse befinden. Habe mich aber schlussendlich frs Solidcom entschieden da viel mehr Zubehr dabei ist.
Was besonders toll ist, ist das Ladegert. Besser kann man ein Ladegert fr kleine Akkus nicht Designen.
Was ich mir wnschen wrde wre ein Grtelempfnger fr in Ears wie bei klassischen Funkgerten.
Talkback has always been expensive , short lived and confusing to setup. This is the opposite they are one touch with long battery life, great distance and perfect sound. Buy them now!
OK, a professional yacht crew we say these are the real deal, not toys!!!
Forget the budget junk and no need for the super expensive sets, come with the charger and a nice protective case. Order in 2, 3, 4, 6, sets already linked. Just plug in the battery and your set. No confusion, no shouting no miscommunication.
You might want to pick up a bigger foam muffler for the mike boom to further reduce wind noise but ok in 20 knots..
We purchased these to use for comms on our boat instead of shouting. We have found them to be excellent for this with great battery life and awesome distance. we have found that with the volume reduced, you can cut much of the background noise out while still clearly hearing the other perso
What a game changer these headsets are. If you work in any kind of production you need these. Easy to use and ready right out of the box. I fly FPV Drones and need to be hands-free. GAME CHANGER. And the price is great compared to competitors.
Hollyland producing some great affordable kit. Have been looking a talkbacks for years and couldn’t believe the low cost of these units. they work perfectly , clear audio and all you have to do is mumble. Long battery life and send over the distance of a theatre with no issues.
Ju od duszego czasu szukaem zestawu do komunikacji, natomiast zawsze przeszkadzay mi beltpacki. Tutaj mamy bardzo wygodny zestaw bez beltpackw. Suchawki s lekkie i wietnie wykonane. Bardzo dobrze te sycha inne osoby z zespou. Cay zestaw jest zgrabnie zapakowany w nieduy materiaowy case.
We use these on our bike rides. They are phenomenal. You can hear the other person whisper even when pulled up next to a car. We tried a lot of other products and were unhappy. These by far were the most expensive but you get what you pay for. They were worth every single penny. Fabulous product. You will not regret this purchase.
This is a nice headset set, they look nice are easy to set up and pair ( truly plug and play) and the sound is crisp and clear.
we are using this system in a dune buggy and could not be happier with them.
Would buy again.

I love the C1, was initially looking at other brands but eventually drawn to the sleek design
I do wedding photos and never thought my crew needed it, but turns out it makes communication between the photographers super easy.
I wore it for 12 hours straight, battery died at the very very end of the night. (Much longer than advertised) it was also a very hot day but I didn’t feel like the ear cup was causing me to feel discomfort!
Would be interested in adding more headsets to my team as the team grows

We got this set for my husband and adult son to have a way to hands free communicate while working doing home repairs and construction.
The set arrives needing to be charged, but fully assembled.
It comes with good directions that are easy to follow.
Everything on the set feels well made.
Everything is adjustable for a perferct fit, no matter what the head size or shape is.
The components are all durable and sturdy.
To test them out we charged them up.
It took 2.5 hours.
We put them on and went outside on opposite sides of the house,
The traffic noise seemed to be filtered out.
The function buttons on the sides of the units were easy to use and understand during use.
We were able to clearly hear each other with minimal effort.
We were also able to hear and speak at the same time, so even if we both were talking, it did not cut one of us off.
We would buy these again.
Every now and then as a techno early adopter the tendency is to jump in at the launch of a new product and sometimes the first iterations are just about inline with expectations, but here are times when the product falls woefully short of what it promises to deliver.
I finally pulled the trigger this week and thought I’d try the Solidcom C1 for my four man live-streaming team, but can’t tell you how Uber pumped my team are to use it.
This product not only met our expectations but also blew us away and already we can see how having the Solidcom C1 Headset has already vastly improved not only helped our production quality but has also improved production Comms and value also.
Prior to these headsets we tried long range walkie talkies but although the range was good, had to depend on ‘press to talk’ technology and if two of your team are trying to talk at the same time, forget it.
With this set we can have 2 / 3 / 4 people in the same conversation and we can all hear each other when needed.
I purchased my set through official Hollyland Store on Amazon and was amazed that they delivered literally the next day.
The packaging and build quality is solid. With everything supplied in a padded branded case which contains everything you need to sustain a full day shoot.
In the bag were 4 individual headsets each in their own carry around slip case . (One master headset and three additional coms headsets)
The package is also supplied with two sets of batteries for each headset (8 in total), Two sets of ear pads for each headset (one larger padded and one smaller) as well as a small wind jammer for each mic.
Operation was very simple with a simple talk to communicate with the mic boom down and to mute move the mic boom up and out of the way.
We have yet to change the batteries on a full day’s shoot.
The audio quality and volume levels are near Hi-Fi quality and one surprise benefit I didn’t appreciate until we started using the set was that as everything is self contained in the headset, there are no trailing wires which you have to plug in and get snagged in your daily operational moving to and forth.
With regards to range we do a lot of services which necitate the need to speak to the drone operator based out side what is usually a traditional brick church building as well as additional roaming camera operators which move from outside to inside and the contact remains constant.
I haven’t done a scientific range test but have not experienced any dropout or signal loss under these conditions and from inside to outside the building I would say we can be up to 800 feet away from each other and still able to hear and communicate clearly.
One downside if there is any is that you always need the master head set in situ in order for everyone to communicate.
I made the mistake of sending two of my team to do some remote filming but hadn’t appreciated that once my headset was switched off they could not speak to each other, but in most situations we are always together as a team so its a minor point.
I love the fact that you can also expand the set by adding additional headsets too. So for larger shoots with a larger team we can simply scale up.
The customer support from Hollyland has been first class and although I haven’t experienced any problems with this product, found them very responsive when I had an issue with a wireless transmitter I purchased from them previously.
As far as value for money is concerned we as a team have benefited from more efficient communications and therefore directions, which makes the finished product is also much better too.
Overall if you are looking for a good value comms set for your small to midsize team. I THINK THIS WILL BE VERY HARD TO BEAT!!
